@21308 I've been alongside birds my whole life and the short period I had without them just didn't feel right. One of the things I'm looking least towards in Uni is actually just being away from Jade, since I couldn't keep him in an appartment or campus because he's oddly noisy for a Green Cheek and I probably wouldn't have the time to commit to him since I'll be juggling jobs and studies. Granted unlike most people I'm not going to spend my money and spare time going to parties or drinking (no offense to those who do, it's just not my thing) and I'm not too big on socializing, but I just don't think it's a good idea and he'll be better off at home I bet. He really loves my aunt so hopefully they can take him in.

Aracaris are really quiet little guys and if I could find the money for them I'd love to have one, but being that their diet is nearly entirely fruit and they're pricey overall and need quite a bit of attention, I'm not sure I could handle it. Maybe when I'm retired or when I'm not a student anymore.

Might have a parrotlet or a linnie keep me company since they're was less expensive and I could properly care for them without doubt. Maybe even a Tiel if I get a female since they're less chatty. They're more hardy, less needy, more quiet. Might not go for a parrotlet though since they tend to be a little too energetic for someone who'll be juggling school and work with to keep up to.

On a Steven universe front. I have five moments I can never choose between no matter what.

Rose's message to Steven. It was so beautiful and showed how much our world was different to the how knows how many years of life Rose had lived. It showed her feelings for humans, Earth, Greg, the gems and Steven in so many little words. For Steven, it was getting to see a piece of his mother, to hear her voice for the first time and to really see her. To feel and see her love for him

Ruby and Sapphire finding each other on the ship. The pure love they show before even becoming Garnet once more and that song. Who could be that song fighting and everything it showed in the lyrics.

Rose and Greg dancing and 'fusing' in the only way they could. Learning to understand each other and talking it out. It was the first step to them falling even more in love and the first step in opening there eyes to the others feelings. Realizing that they think and act differently

Connie and Steven dancing together on the beach before fusing. Connie trusting in Steven to do something she feared. Steven helping her grow and them just having so much fun together after talking about something Steven was worried about. Both of them just supporting each other

The whole episode of Ruby and Sapphire meeting. Period Xd

@PathfinderMy group is still struggling a bit, but I think will get better as time moves on. We have our sessions every friday, though we're currently doing a Muligan so that we can start the game proper this time. Before we had some conflicts that kind made the game go haywire at times, but hopefully we'll have fixed that issue this time around

Actually, come to think of it, Peridot going up to Yellow Diamond is probably the crowning moment of the series for me. There's just something...I don't know, I love it, and I felt so proud.

@Loony Oh gosh you know a lot more about birds than me. Yeah I can imagine that having to leave a pet behind would really suck, with any luck you'll be able to visit him often. Is the university you want terribly far from where you live?

@21308 Terribly far? Try literally three provinces in between the one you currently live in. I'm in Ontario and I'm trying to get to BC.

I doubt I'll be able to visit my family other than maybe during the holidays, and even then, I'm not sure if I want to.

But yeah, anyways...Well, it helps to have grown alongside them since you were two years old, and have family (There's some unwritten rule that 80% of all Kurds who have pets have pet birds for some reason) and friends who had them as well. I honestly pick up parrot (and sub parrot since Tiels and Toos technically aren't true parrots) body language better than humans. And some other birds, though to a lesser extent. ^ ^"

@Akayaofthemoon Yellow Pearl's expressions, the way Yellow Diamond reacted, seeing the Crystal Gem's faces as they watched, and having Peridot call Yellow Diamond a clod...It was all great. And Peridot's 'what have I done' moment was priceless.

Her reaction to being called a clod was priceless up until Peridot's reaction to what she had called her idol and leader XD then it was hilarious beyond belief and way more priceless

@Loony 0_0 Wow that is very far. I guess it might be a good thing for you though? And yeah I can see how being around birds for so long would have that effect, kind of like my sister with horses. That's really cool, I've always loved animals but I don't think I've ever had that kind of affinity for a single type of animal.

So hey, on the topic of the show one thing that just occurred to me today that was awesome about the moment with Yellow Diamond is that that was the first proper look we got at Homeworld.

@Akayaofthemoon I find it cool how Pearl's can have different personalities and aren't all exactly like the one we know. I figured all of them would be something like Blue Diamond's pearl going by what we'd heard, I wasn't expecting a smug pearl.
