Background: Kira, the woman who would become Eris, was born on Nar Shaddaa into the house of two spaceport employees. Her mother was a spice addict, her father an abusive drunk with a gambling problem. Needless to say her childhood was awful. Then she turned twelve, started to...develop, shall we say, and gave her father sufficient trouble that he decided to kill two birds with one stone and get rid of his troublesome, unwanted punk kid and resolve some of his gambling debts by selling the girl to the Exchange.
As I'm sure you can imagine her lot in life really improved after that. It became her mantra that one day, -one day-, she wouldn't be afraid of anyone, she wouldn't be tormented and abused by anyone or anything ever again. It wouldn't be that day, or tomorrow, or any time in the next four years she spent working for the Exchange, forced to do fairly unspeakable things.
Then a miracle happened - a Jedi came to Nar Shaddaa and in the Jedi's dealings with the Exchange noticed something strange about the girl - she would react to strikes she didn't even see before the attack started coming, anticipate orders before they were even given. She surreptitiously tested the slave, and determined that she was strong in the Force.
For the Jedi it was a no-brainer. She hated having to play nice with these scum anyway, and spitting in their face by absconding with a bit of their property would at least slake her disgust with this whole mission. She rescued the slave and brought her to the Jedi Order, who - after giving her rescuer a tongue-lashing - determined that she would be trained as a Jedi. The Order was desperate for numbers to replace the Jedi who died or fell to the Sith, and as such the rules had begun to fall by the wayside.
For ten years she walked the path of the Jedi, but her heart was always a place of turmoil. The trauma and pain of her childhood, the fear and the pain they had brought her, the anger and hate she had clung to to survive it, they had left dark stains on her soul, and despite her and the Jedi's best efforts they seemed all but impossible to remove. Nightmares plagued her even well into her training, and she wrestled with dark, violent impulses in the face of the kind of evil she experienced.
Those were all the tools that the being who would become her new Master, Darth Zazel, would need to twist her into a weapon of the Dark Side. On a mission in the Outer Rim territories she was waylaid by a trio of Dark Jedi, and while she handled herself well she was defeated and captured, taken to Darth Zazel's personal warship - the Tarteras Serpent. Aboard the Serpent Kira would face nightmares that her childhood hadn't even begun to dream of, beings that burrowed into the primal terrors her youth had instilled in her. Through a haze of Sith drugs and the Dark Side of the Force she faced her demons, darker and more terrible than before, and her every technique, her every effort of will was insufficient to banish them. For ten days and nine nights she endured this torment, tormented physically, mentally, sexually, spiritually, always with the key to ending her torment just within reach, for the low, low price of a piece of her soul.
In the end she gave in and reached for the Dark Side, and drove the torments and the visions away. For a day she lay in her cage, her mind blissfully free of the horrors, the nightmares driven away for a time by the power of the Dark Side. And then she tried to pull away from that power.
The torments began again. Each time she lasted less time before she succumbed and grasped the Dark Side, each time having a harder time releasing it when it was over, until after six months of languishing in torment the fear of the visions returning made her cling to the Dark like it was her only lifeline. And once she made no effort to push away the Dark, then Darth Zazel began her training. He cemented his grip on her, showed her that if he willed it even the Dark Side couldn't protect her from his will, and he could begin the visions on her no matter her protections. Taught her dark secrets, the terrible mysteries of the Sith, and crafted the once heroic Jedi into a weapon of the Sith. For two years he labored over her, teaching her the ways of the Dark Side, and then he deemed her a worthy tool to be unleashed on hi enemies. He bade her forsake her old name and take up a new one. She reached into the Dark and called her true identity forth - Eris.
Equipment: A gold-bladed lightsaber, her personal starship, the Scarlet Jester, which appears to be like any of a billion other ships plying the spacelanes - huge, boxy, ugly, and suited to little more than carrying large amounts of cargo. Which it does, providing a source of credits for Eris' operations. In addition a section of the holds are given over to serve as Eris' base of operations, containing her personal starfighter, a custom-made stealth fighter she has dubbed the Stiletto..
The Stiletto is a tiny, incredibly fast craft with state of the art stealth tech, although it is unarmed, unshielded, and only lightly armored, and possesses no hyperdrive. It is, however, loaded with sophisticated sensor systems, providing Eris with the means to analyze her target from relative distance before she strikes.
In her storage holds on the Jester she has a vast array of weapons and tools that she makes use of, mostly disguises and secondary tools for infiltration.

Luyioth was born on planet Dantooine to a middle-class family as the youngest of three, including one older brother and one older sister. She only spent a total of 8 months with her parents before midichlorian testing administered by the prominent Dantooine Jedi Enclave concluded that Luyioth is force sensitive. She was taken underneath the wing of the enclave and raised by the wise masters of the Jedi Order.
Having joined the order whilst still in her infancy, all Luyioth knew in her childhood was life within the Jedi Order. To her, the concept of 'parents' was initially difficult to understand as a variety of wise masters and knights, generally of older age and/or more-so academic nature, contributed collectively to her upbringing. They taught her how to walk, how to speak, how to eat, how to groom, and a variety of other fundamental skills whilst consistently maintaining and teaching the ways of the Jedi Order and the Jedi code.
With due credit to her early detection, Luyioth became a Padawan under the instruction of Master Lannah Reytal - a female Miraluka known to be very academic, and both potent and well trained in the force - after passing her initiate trials. Between being raised by the tenants of the Jedi code and being instructed underneath an academic Miraluka, Luyioth's personality was naturally very cool, calm, and in control to the point of monotony. Regarding her later time as a Padawan, she undertook her trials at 22 years of age and passed by a healthy margin. She was declared a Jedi Knight the following day.
Five years of missions and real-world adventures came to weigh on the mind of the sheltered and sculptured Jedi Knight Luyioth Dak'win. As she experienced the true functions and occurrences of the galaxy and even fought vague skirmishes with the Sith and their proxies, she continued her, in the latter end of the five years, almost dangerous pursuit of knowledge. Between her own findings and the subtle influence of the elderly self-taught Gray Jedi Kuar Sokotoski, hiding away in the vast expanse of Tattooine, she begun to value balance and realism over the more-so optimistic views of the Jedi Order.
The untimely natural death of Kuar Sokotoski inspired action for Luyioth, who decided that she should pursue the ideals of a Gray Jedi from within the Jedi Order - for there is no good without evil, but evil must not flourish. Unfortunately, her pursuit of her own ideals caused a number of incidents with the Jedi Council in foreseeable ways, and come a particular incident where Luyioth used her command of republic troopers in a manner based off the beliefs of realism rather than the teachings of the Jedi Code, she was ordered to present herself before the council for trial.
The council concluded that Luyioth had strayed too far from the teachings of the Jedi Code and attempted to teach her of their ways once again. She defied regardless of their best efforts, staying true to her teachings, which forced the council to assume the worst - her turn to the dark side of the force in the midst of a cold war with the Sith Empire. The council severed her connection to the force, her lightsaber was seized and she was exiled from the Jedi Order, teaching her the cost of pride in the process.
Luyioth now finds herself in Hutt Space, resting beyond the reaches of the Republic or the Empire on the smuggler's moon, Nar Shadda. Every space lane eventually goes into Nar Shadda, after all, but getting out is much more difficult. She wanders the galaxy as she sees fit in her attempts to restore her connection to the force and construct a new lightsaber in the hope that, one day, she can truly follow in the footsteps of old man Kuar Sokotoski and act as an independent in the greater events of the galaxy. She has a faint ambition to, if she is successful, start a clandestine order of Grey Jedi as to pass on the teachings of realism and balance and allow for more influence than only one can hold.

Background: Horisia has made a name for himself in the Outer Rim running guns, refugees and the occasional illicit cargo to anyone willing to pay. His favorite job? Running a small corps of entertainers from his homeworld of Zeltron to Corellia for a grand Bachelor party before the war broke out. It paid well and he still has some of the holotapes stored on T-9, his own private concert of live music from the group that would probably sell for a few credits now that the band has taken off.
His least favorite job? Running the Mandalorian blockade to Coruscant. His old ship, The Blue Dwarf, took a torpedo hit as it broke through the ring of ships and only barely landed with most of its cargo intact. The food, medicine and spice sold at wildly inflated prices, and Horisia's fears that he would be stranded on the planet proved completely unfounded. He scrapped a few custom built systems on the Blue Dwarf and re-installed them on his newly bought vessel, the Defender-class Corvette Red Dwarf.
But what seemed like a great purchase at the time has turned into one of his worst decisions ever. Everyone who sees the vessel, no matter what paint job Horis puts on it, assumes he's working for the Republic now. Imperial vessels shoot on sight, old smuggling contacts disappear into the shadows when he lands, and Republic ships demand his compliance whenever his vessel shows up on their sensors.
In the middle of all this confusion, Horis has fallen on hard times and barely has enough credits to fill up his fuel tanks. He can only make so much moving refugees from one place to another, and with the war having officially stopped he has no more gun-running jobs to fall back on.
If something doesn't fall through soon, he might have to do the unthinkable- sell his ship and settle down somewhere! Hopefully the Data Core one of the ex-military refugees left behind from his last run will have something valuable on it...
