Name: Vladrick Cartallan
Age: 441
Chapter: Lords Justicar (Homebrew Renegade Night Lord Descendants)
Rank: Librarian (Battle Seer)
Bio: Altogether an unremarkable member of quite the remarkable chapter. Many Loyalists spit upon the name of "Night Lords" However, what they never knew was that the Night Lords never truly fell to Chaos. Although they fell out of touch with the Imperium and were branded Traitors, they never truly turned to the Dark Gods. Konrad Curze had set a plan for his Night Lords, that they be the bringers of Justice in the universe, which they were for many centuries, dealing harsh justice to those who worshipped False Gods... But, after so many centuries, they seemed to have lost sight of what they stood for. Under the leadership of Warmaster Krieg, they seemed to become little more than Thugs that preyed on the Weak... Then after Krieg ascended to Daemonhood, openly supporting worship of the Dark Gods, Balla Legraase, formerly captain of the Night Lords 53rd Company, took those loyal to himself and broke from the Night Lords.
He and his ship appeared around the world of Parian Fate, Homeworld to the Paladins of Light, a small, cruel, Black Templar descendant chapter that had recently lost most of their order to a failed crusade against the Orks. Though the Paladins claimed to be a benevolent chapter, their treatment of those under their charge was unspeakable at best. They rounded up great numbers of children and forced them to fight to the death in their Arena's in order to determine who was strong enough for Gene-Seed implantation. The Night Lords quickly slaughtered the Paladins and were welcomed by the people as saviors. It was there that Balla descided to make their new home. A band of Astartes that would Serve the Public, Protect the Innocent and uphold the law, as was the edict left by Kurze. They would be his Justicars... The Lords Justicars..
Although not officially recognized by the Inquisition, or even affiliated with the Imperium, the Justicars fight not for the Emperor, but for the only thing that matters in the universe, Justice. They took part in the Badab War of Secession, fighting on behalf of the colonys that wished to secede from the Imperium. Ultimately, they discovered that it was a Chaos plot and abandoned the fight.
Vladrick was one of those gifted with the Psyker gene that joined the Justicars. He grew quickly under their tutelage and became a powerful Biomancer. He uses his Biomancy to augment is Melee focussed fighting style, combined with the chapters unique Force Claws that allow him to focus his power into his claws.
During a skirmish with the Crimson Slaughter, he was approached by a being called "The Listener" who claimed he could relay certain truthes. These words were commonly of Chaos tongue, so, without thought, he lashed at the glowing marine with all of his strength. But before the claws could make contact, he had vanished. He went about his business, but eventually sat down to meditate, when he received a disturbing vision, a common occurance for those with the Night Lord Gene-seed.
