Leaving Anastasia's side after seeing the other guard with her, Samsul walked down the hall, wanting to speak to Elana about a few things before he would go on to his own activities. He quickly walked down the halls to Elana's office and opened the door slowly, looking inside as more came into view. The Queen looked up from a few papers and laid eyes on Samsul, seeing the look on his face told her that he still had some things on his mind. "Hello Samsul. How is she doing? I trust her lessons are going well?" She asked, waiting for him to shut the door. He did as she predicted and sighed, looking at him with a sad smile.
Samsul looked at her and informed her of the dress and how her lessons seemed to be going, also how the young princess asked him to take more time to himself. Elana laughed at this and agreed with her daughter, which resulted in a sigh from the Lost Elf. "I assume that the preparations are almost ready, my Queen?" He asked her. She nodded to him with another sad smile. "Yes, and when I leave, I plan on making Gerald not only her tutor, but her steward as well. Unfortunately Samsul, I have things to do, and as much as I would like to postpone them, it isn't an option. I hope to see you in the near future." Samsul nodded at her and left the room, now heading for the Wing that housed the Lost Elves.
Making his way to the armory, he couldn't find anything to occupy his time until Anastasia's lessons were finished. As he entered the weapon filled room, a few others had been working on either their weapons or lightly sparring with each other. When he came in, all of them turned their heads to him, many of them smiling. "It's good to see you, Samsul. I trust that you didn't bore the Princess to death yet?" One of them spoke up, quickly ending the spar with her partner with a quick disarming. He had been used to the joking, and everyone was well aware that he didn't take any time to his own endeavors. He nodded and looked back at the elven woman. "If I had, there would have been a funeral, and I would have been banished from the clan. But, Princess Anastasia has the same beliefs as all of you, and made it an order for me to take more personal time. If you would like to make jokes about work, Kala, then I feel that it is my duty to bring up the amount of breaks you take in a day." The woman gritted her teeth, because she knew what was coming next. "I may work a little too hard, but you do not work enough. You have skill, but you hardly ever use it." She may not had expected the last part, but she still lunged at Samsul with her weapon in hand. After a quick sparring session, Kala grew weak and was beaten by Samsul. he didn't speak to her, and simply talk to some of the others, losing track of time.
