But since I've already said that I fired the bullet, doesnt that mean there's no time for him to disarm?
The whole point was that he was off balance after charging me, and I was counter attacking, leaving him no time to do anything else

Called an interrupt, if there's logical time for him to do anything before your shot, he can do it before your actions are complete.

Well this is why I'm doing this; you learn something new every day
Question is, is there logical time for him to do anything? Im going to go out on a limb here and say yes.

Usually. Interrupts are how we try and integrate the natural ability to react to changing situations into Arena combat, the moment your character makes his intent known there's potential for Khan to change his own movements. It's why subterfuge is also useful, because it reduces this logical time for people's characters to react. If your attack only became apparent a second before you collided and launched your attack, Khan's options would be heavily limited, for example.

I don't see why Kragimaeus would be throw off balance by his own attack though.

Your right to say he can't dodge at point blank. But as melon mentioned, there are interrupts.

In this case it would be Kragimaeus's multiple limbs. His larger arm can't do any thing about the gun, but it's positioned perfectly for his lower limb. Which might not have been so bad if he wasn't a walking conduit of electricity.

Still there's options open to you- Oh boy, now I sound as bad as Skallagrim. D=

Khan, dont forget about my thick skin ability; gun shots dont barely even affect Hepheastus, so I'm not worried about shooting myself, which I think I can probably stop from happening anyways. It's dealing with the back hand that worries me; I'm going to have to get creative.

EDIT: Is it possible for me to interrupt his interrupt?

Interrupting an interrupt is -really- dependant on timescale, ultimately something's got to give eventually, you can't just keep flawlessly evading or negating eachother's attacks. You've set yourself in motion to launch an attack, you're not expecting it to be blocked or deflected in some fashion, so reacting to that follow up is entirely dependant on if your character has a realistically long enough time to comprehend what's happening and then act.

For example, in mine and IN's recent fight, IN committed to a powerful falling attack that relied on me being basically stationary, understandably I moved, but my character only moved with a very short period of time remaining before impact, effectively cutting off reactions to the move until just before it would be too late. That is why the first interrupt is most likely to succeed, and after that its more likely for a hit to be taken.

Actually I wasnt scared off, I just dont have time for any more than 1 roleplay at this point and time, and sadly, that does not include this one. Perhaps, another time we can resume this.

Regardless, its common courtesy to let someone know you're quitting rather than leaving them hanging for over two weeks, bare that in mind next time.

I never saw any post in this thread for a very long time, so I assumed my partner had moved on as well. Anyways, my apologies.
