The LN Odyssey is a Holos-Class Lumien battleship refurbished to be used as an exploration vessel. Though it looks all sleek and shiny, it is about twenty-five years old and has seen its fair share of battles. It is a ship designed for defense over offense, sporting impressive shielding and the largest anitmatter-based nuclear reactor ever made by the Lumien Consulate.
Top Speed: 347C
Weaponry: -Seven auto-targeting heavy bolt cannons (automatic railguns) per-side. These are designed primarily to intercept fighters and close-range attackers. -Six Rapid-Fire Laser Cannons (RFLCs) (three on each side). These are hydrogen fluoride-based lasers which are used primarily for long-range attacks. Each laser strike delivers a force of about 11 kilotons. -twenty antimatter missiles (approximate blast force of a thirty-megaton nuclear warhead) -one frontal superheavy bolt cannon. The Superheavy bolt cannon is a powerful naval weapon which fires a slug of conductive neodymium and silicon at terminal velocity. This, combined with a powerful electric jolt, causes major damage to shielded ships if it scores a direct hit. It takes a very long time to charge, however. Because it is going so fast and is propelled through space (where it can accelerate much more quickly than it can on a planet), the superheavy bolt cannon's projectiles have a yield of about 100 megatons.
Defenses: -Mass Inversion Shields. Essentially, the Odyssey is surrounded in a powerful energy shield which reverses the momentum of any projectile with mass. This does not work against laser weapons, however. Like all shields, they can only reflect a certain amount of projectiles before needing to be recharged, and they eat up a lot of power. -Energite Shielding. Energite shields are energy shields which absorb a percentage of damage from light-based weapons and transform it into energy to fuel the ship. These shields have a maximum capacity like mass inversion, and they take up a lot of energy to use. -Heat-Emitting-Missile-Deflection-System (HEMDS): This last resort shield fires dozens of fireworks-like explosives which release smaller explosives when they fire, creating a net of tiny explosions. This net releases a lot of heat and interferes with radio signals, allowing it to fool some missiles into exploding early. The weapon is somewhat dangerous to use, however, as it also interferes with the Odyssey’s own comms, so it is only used as a last resort.
Other Vessels: -Two landing ships designed to shuttle crewmembers planetside. They are equipped with a heavy bolt cannon for defense as well as four air-to-ground missiles with .5 megaton payloads. -Three S-Class Lumien Fighter Vessels. These extremely fast fighter jets are designed for accurate strikes on enemy ships and land bases. They are equipped with radar jammers, allowing them to get past radar detection. In combat, they utilize an auto-targeting heavy bolt cannon, six miniature antimatter missiles with a payload of one megaton each, and a frontal laser cannon.
Captain: Myre Forchem of Desbin
Name: Axron Luxda of Holos Age: 34 Gender: Male Species: Lumien Faction: The Lumien Consulate Role: Captain’s Assistant (1st Mate)
::Appearance:: Height: 5’1” Weight: 150 lbs Physical Characteristics: Axron is a Lumien, an apelike sentient creature hailing from the planet Desbin. He is of average height and weight for a Lumien, and is well-built, with strong-looking muscles and a wide chest. He has long arms and large, six-fingered hands, with long legs ending in five-toed feet that have two opposable toes, one on each side of the foot. Axron’s skin is a dark blue color, the color of most Lumiens from Holos, and his hair in base form is cyan in color, with darker and lighter hues patterned around his body. As Lumien hair contains color-changing chromatophores, his hair color can change, and usually seems to be rippling slightly between shades. His hair is thick and coarse, not quite at porcupine level, but not far away from it either. Axron’s eyes are violet in color, and resemble the eyes of an octopus. His head is large with a tall forehead, and is generally shaped like that of a gorilla. The hair on his head is naturally styled to slope up and back behind his head, making his head appear taller and wider. Axron’s head is somewhat squared, and he has a large scar on his right cheek. He has a large nose and wide-set eyes that always look a little angry.
Clothing: When on the ship, Axron wears a standard-issue Lumien Navy uniform. It consists of a skintight suit which hugs closely to his body, a pair of silver boots, two silver armor plates on his shoulders, and a short cyan-colored cape on his back. The left shoulder plate contains the Lumien Flag, an equilateral triangle with stripes of brown, cyan, and gold. The right shoulder plate contains Axron’s rank, Captain’s Assistant (1st Mate in human terms). This rank appears as three interlocking gold-colored circles. On Axron’s right arm is his retractable forearm blade. When down on planetside or when in space, Axron wears a suit of Lumien Power Armor. This armor is blue, cyan, and brown in color, and has the flag and rank on the same shoulders as his uniform does.
::Personality::
Personality: Axron is a stoic, generally stone-faced guy. He is calm and collected, rarely getting rattled in any situation. He is generally thought of by his crewmates as a stick in the mud. He’s almost always serious, keeping a straight face in most jokes, and doesn’t seem to have very much fun. He’s incredibly loyal, however, and is willing to do whatever it takes for his people. Axron may not be outwardly energetic, but he is very kind, and can be trusted to do the right thing in most situations. Axron is quite intelligent, but his demeanor generally makes people think that he is somewhat dumb. Due to his personality, Axron can commonly seem brash and angry, though he is generally amiable. because of this, people often think that he doesn’t like them. Most people see Axron as grumpy, but he rarely is.
Quote: “Excuse me, but I’m trying to do my job.” Backstory: It’s fairly boring. Skills: Axron is a computer programmer, first and foremost. He is an expert in quantum computing, and helped to build the quantum computer that runs the Odyssey. His skills in programming also give him skills in hacking, though he’s no master hacker. Axron is also a soldier, and so he is well-trained in combat and weaponry. He has the highest marksmanship rank possible with both his bolt rifle and his pistol, though their range prevents him from really being a sniper.
::Abilities:: Biological Adaptations: Lumiens are well-known for their durability and camouflage. Lumien skin is resistant to knives, and their bodies contain salt glands which allow them to regulate their own hydration and temperature much better than a human. Lumiens are also surprisingly resistant to nuclear radiation, as their DNA is stronger than that of a human. This doesn’t mean that they can survive a nuclear blast or anything, but they are practically immune to cancer and low-level radiation (like what you’d find walking through Chernobyl). Lumien hair also contains chromatophores, color-changing pigment cells which allow Lumiens to change colors to match their surroundings. This gives them a form of active camouflage, allowing them to blend in with their surroundings. Lumiens also can see ultraviolet light, as they live on a planet revolving around a blue star. Weaknesses: Well firstly, Lumien active camouflage only shields them if they don’t move. The chromatophores take a few seconds to blend in, and if the creature that they’re disguising moves, they need to reset. Lumien skin also does not get disguised, so areas like the face and chest are left vulnerable. Also, while Lumiens can see ultraviolet light, they are unable to see the color red. Things which are red do not appear to Lumiens. Weapons: -Retractable forearm blades: These 18-inch carbon fiber blades are set on a track designed to respond to ligament contractions in the forearm. When Axron makes a fist in a certain way, the blades fire out and become powerful cutting weapons. When Axron is using his Power Armor, he can run a 700 milliamp current through the blades, superheating them and frying anything they stab into. -Type-22AC Bolt Rifle: This powerful automatic rifle operates like a mini-railgun, firing neodymium rounds at 1,341 meters per second using magnetized rails. It has a 30-round clip and can be fired in automatic, semi-automatic, and four-round burst modes. The weapon has an adjustable, laser-guided trajectory system which will adjust trajectory for “human error”, making it much more accurate than your normal rifle. -HWC-XP4 handgun: A semi-automatic bolt pistol which, like the Type-22, fires neodymium rounds. Armor:Lumien Power Armor. Lumien armor is among the most adaptable in the galaxy, and is nicknamed “the swiss army knife of armor”. The armor consists of an inner layer of graphene-infused fabric mixed with a thick, heat and cold-resistant self-healing polymer and an outer layer of carbon steel and starlite plastic armor (a plastic that can withstand the force of a nuclear blast). A layer of quartz inside of the armor’s plates give it a resistance to laser attacks. The suit’s dual-layer design allows it to monitor and control the temperature inside of the inner layer, allowing it to keep its occupant at a perfect 70º Fahrenheit in temperatures ranging from -200º Fahrenheit to nearly 1000º Fahrenheit. The armor is covered in servomotors which allow the suit to lift nearly three tons. In addition to being bulletproof up to railgun rounds, the suit contains a rechargeable energy shield (like Mjolnir armor) which can take a beating equal to what the suit would normally be able to take. The suit also contains an onboard computer and comms system, which can be accessed via vocal commands as well as a forearm-mounted touch screen. The armor is powered by a supercharged battery which has an twelve-hour charge. If the suit is low on energy, it can produce solar panels from an inside compartment and charge itself. compartments on the suit’s hips and thighs, act as weapon storage, and are activated using nerve impulse sensors to literally magnetically shoot weapons into the user’s hand.
What makes Power Armor unique, however, is its customizability. Every part of the armor is interchangeable and can be altered to accommodate any mission. Attachments such as jetpacks, extendable shields, propellers, stealth fields, and a variety of onboard weapons can be added to the suit to make the armor adapt to any situation. Axron’s is customized to carry a mass inversion shield, a clear, extendable shield the size of a riot shield which deflects any projectile that has mass, as well as a unidirectional EMP blast, which can be used to short-circuit electronics. Armor Weakness: Firstly, EMP grenades are a Lumien’s worst nightmare. One blast from an EMP will disable Power Armor energy shields, and two will disable the servomotors. The servos are the weak points on the armor. Because the armor is so heavy, it relies entirely on the servomotors to give the user movement. If a servo is damaged, the user will be unable to move whatever joint that servo services. Also, the customizable aspect of the suit makes it so that only certain parts can be kept on at one time. Wearing the inversion shield, for example, removes Axron’s left forearm blade, and the EMP cannon requires a massive energy drain to utilize in battle. Also, the battery needs to be kept charged. Twelve hours may seem like a long time (and a battery extender can be added), but in intense combat, the battery drains much more quickly. Gadgets: -Mass Inversion Shield: a clear, extendable shield which deflects any projectile that has mass. -EMP Cannon: a wrist-mounted device which fires a unidirectional EMP blast, able to disable electronics from a distance of up to 100 yards. -Battery Pack: a hip-mounted battery-shaped object which holds a charge large enough to add four hours of non-combat time to a set of Lumien Power Armor. Axron carries three of these.
Other: (Anything not already in the sheet)
Name: Myre Forchem of Desbin Age: 49 (In Lumien years, this is around thirty) Gender: Male Species: Lumien Faction: The Lumien Consulate Role: Captain
::Appearance:: Height: 5’5” Weight: 170 lbs Physical Characteristics: Myre is a Lumien, an apelike sentient creature hailing from the planet Desbin. He is slightly taller than the average Lumien, and is very muscular due to his military training. He has long arms and large, six-fingered hands, with long legs ending in five-toed feet that have two opposable toes, one on each side of the foot. Myre’s skin is silver, like most Lumiens, and his hair in base form is a cornflower blue color, with darker and lighter hues patterned around his body. As Lumien hair contains color-changing chromatophores, his hair color can change, and usually seems to be rippling slightly between shades. His hair is thick and coarse, not quite at porcupine level, but not far away from it either. Myre’s eyes are gold in color, and resemble the eyes of an octopus. His head is large with a tall forehead, and is generally shaped like that of a gorilla. The hair on his head is naturally styled to slope up and back behind his head, making his head appear taller and wider. Myre has a long and gaunt-looking face, with a small nose and a wide mouth. His eyes sparkle with intelligence, and his mouth commonly turns up at one end, like he’s in on a secret that you don’t know. Clothing: When on his ship, Myre wears a standard Lumien Navy uniform, which consists of a skintight silver spandex suit, matching boots, two plates of white armor on his shoulders, and a short cyan cape trimmed with gold on his back. The left shoulder plate shows the Lumien flag, and the right one shows his rank, captain. The captain rank is four interlocked golden rings. When on planetside, Myre wears Lumien Power Armor. The armor is blue, cyan, and gold in color, and has the flag and rank symbol on the same shoulders as the dress uniform.
::Personality::
Personality: James Bond mixed with a little Tony Stark, Myre is cool, confident, and incredibly cocky. He is a fairly easygoing guy, fairly extroverted and enjoyable to be around. He has an excellent sense of humor and tends to make a lot of jokes, though most of his humor is somewhat dry and deadpan. He is incredibly sarcastic as well, the kind of action hero who banters with his enemies as they’re strapping him to a death machine. Myre is also known to be incredibly confident to the point of arrogance, which is both a strength and a weakness.
What makes Myre different, though, is that he genuinely is in the soldier business because he wants to do what is right, not for the glory or the money. This puts Myre into many difficult situations where he has to decide what good really is. He works for a corrupt government, but he stands for an end to corruption. He fights evil enemies, but the real evil is inside of his own people. Myre is often caught in between what is good for his people and what is good for society. This causes him to often become indecisive when making decisions, and spends many sleepless nights wondering if he’s doing the right thing. Myre’s not all perfect, though. He has a very short temper and little patience, causing him to often act out of instinct than out of rationality. He will throw away a well-made plan on nothing but a hunch, and always gets his way. Myre’s indecisiveness also causes him to often not act quickly enough, putting himself and his allies in danger. Quote: "Do we really want the power to destroy entire star systems effortlessly?" “Oh, I am just dying with excitement to hear your evil monologue.” Skills: Myre is known to be one of the most-effective fighting machines in the Lumien Consulate. He is a master of hand-to-hand combat, melee combat, and is a master marksman with over a dozen weapons. He is tremendously strong and is very mentally-tough. Myre is also fairly intelligent, and has a lot of intuition. Backstory: Myre Forchem was born in Desbin, the son of an accountant and a robotics engineer. He was fairly wealthy growing up, and didn’t have any siblings, so he often commanded his parents’ attention. Though his parents pushed him to become an engineer or a doctor, Myre had his eyes set on one thing for his entire life; Myre wanted to be a soldier. The life of battling enemies of the Consulate and saving the innocent appealed greatly to him, and after the Battle of Desbin (a big fight in the middle of Desbin City between the Lumiens and their enemies the Seytanbalik) he was only reinforced in his desire. He studied hard in school so that he could go to the military academy on Holos, and he got fairly good grades.
When Myre turned thirteen, however, disaster struck. He and his family were on a cruise through the Blurro (the name of the Desbinian star) asteroid belt when a group of Seytanbalik pirates attacked their cruise vessel and raided it. Myre’s parents were killed, and he was kidnapped and taken back to the Seytanbalik homeworld of Erazi, where he was kept as a prisoner and a slave. The soldier fire strong within him, Myre vowed to escape the prison, and every day for a year he worked his body to the maximum potential to prepare. Before he could break out himself, however, the Lumien Army invaded the planet and captured it, freeing the prisoners in the process. He came home a lonely and angry orphan, and as soon as he could applied for the military academy on Holos. He made it in with ease.
It took years for Myre’s traumatic wounds to heal, but for a while it made him a great soldier. He passed combat training with ease and was famous for hitting extraordinarily hard. Once, when battling another trainee in training suits (stripped-down battle armor that isn’t as strong), he punched them so hard that he broke ribs. Through the suit. He graduated in the standard three Desbinian years, and joined Task Force 23, a unit of the Lumien Military Special Forces which specialized in anti-piracy. Myre performed exceptionally well, though his lone wolf attitude got him and others injured on several occasions. It was fighting the Enigma that Myre got taught a painful lesson.
The Wolf of Sardonne is a famous quadrillionaire who runs a crime syndicate based off of Sardonne, a city built into an asteroid made entirely out of diamond. On one occasion, Myre and Task Force 21 were sent to take out one of the Wolf’s drug convoys. Upon arriving on the ship, they were ambushed. Myre was able to escape, but four other members of his unit were killed by Enigma assassins. Once he escaped, Myre faced The Wolf himself, who easily disabled his suit and left him to drift off into space.
Myre faced The Wolf again a few months later, and the same thing happened. Though Myre was strong, The Wolf was cunning and swift enough to dodge his hard-hitting attacks. This taught Myre that it’s just as important to fight with accuracy and intelligence than it is to fight with brute strength. Though it took him a while, he finally was able to gain more control over himself, though he never got a chance to take on The Wolf again. He was promoted to Task Force 66, a unit made of the fifty best soldiers in the Lumien Army. As part of The Force, Myre fought on several worlds, taking out the worst that society had to offer. He fought all of the big baddies: the Seytanbalik, the Red Legion, the Chimerian Insurgency. In the course of his ten years in The Force, he fought eight different enemies of the Consulate.
After a while, though, beating people to a pulp got kind of boring for Myre. So, he left the Force and took a job working for the Desbinian Office of Criminal Investigation, a special-ops police department of sorts which is like the NSA mixed with the FBI. Now instead of fighting enemies outside of the Consulate, he fought the ones inside. On one of his first missions as part of the DOCI, Myre hunted down a crime syndicate who was planning on exposing to the galaxy the Lumien Navy’s plans to destroy worlds which had sentient terrestrial life on them, a violation of Galactic Federal Union policy. Working alongside his partner Exo, Myre was able to not only expose the syndicate, but prevent the navy from obliterating seven planets that contained sentient life. He was deemed a hero by the people of the Consulate, but the corrupt government didn’t appreciate having their plans foiled. Still, though, Myre was more useful to them dead than alive, and so they sent him on more missions, taking out terrorists, gangs, and the drug trade. He took on the likes of Agatha, corrupt leader of Azulu, Zalphar, the owner of a crime syndicate which specialized in stealing from the government, and even got another chance to take on the Wolf of Sardonne’s trade of illicit materials.
Now, Myre is taking on a brand new mission; he is being sent to find the Duoc Pristaliz, the most powerful weapon in the universe, and bringing it back home. This is mostly just to get rid of him. Myre might be a good guy, but he’s bad for a corrupt government, and the new Consul decided that it was better to get him as far away as possible and hope he gets blown up.

When Myre makes a fist in a certain way, the blades fire out and become powerful cutting weapons. When Myre is using his Power Armor, he can run a 700 milliamp current through the blades, superheating them and frying anything metal that they stab into.
-Type 37 Canister Launcher: This compact grenade launcher fires can-shaped explosive projectiles with a highly-adhesive end that chemically binds to the first thing it comes into contact with. The launcher can fire a wide range of different canisters, ranging from nonlethal rounds like smoke bombs and stun grenades to fragmentation grenades and firebombs. While the gun is extremely versatile, its ammo is somewhat cumbersome, so Myre cannot carry very many rounds for the gun. -HWC-BBG16 Handgun: The Big Bad Gun. Debatably the most powerful handgun in the galaxy, this behemoth semi-automatic bolt pistol makes a lot of sniper rifles look like water guns, though its range is limited. The blowback from the gun is so ridiculously strong that it can only be fired by a shooter wearing a strength-increasing armor (like Lumien Power Armor).
Attachments such as jetpacks, extendable shields, propellers, stealth fields, and a variety of onboard weapons can be added to the suit to make the armor adapt to any situation. Myre’s is designed to carry a cloaking field, allowing him to temporarily turn invisible to visible light and thermal spectrums, as well as Helios Rocket Boots, which allow him to jump about fifty feet vertically and are shock-resistant. Because Myre is the captain, he has Imperial-Strength armor, meaning that he has an extra-strong energy shield, a second layer of graphene in the inner layer of his suit, and a fifteen-hour charge as opposed to a twelve-hour. Armor Weakness: Firstly, EMP grenades are a Lumien’s worst nightmare. One blast from an EMP will disable Power Armor energy shields, and two will disable the servo motors. The stealth field, for example, is a major drain on Myre’s battery, and the shock from the Helios boots temporarily weaken Myre’s shield. Also, the battery needs to be kept charged. Fifteen hours may seem like a long time, but in intense combat, the battery drains much more quickly. Gadgets: -Stealth Field: an attachment to the Lumien power armor which projects a light-bending stealth field around the wearer, making them invisible to visible light, infrared, and ultraviolet detection. It requires a lot of battery life to use, however, and if used for too long will take enough energy from Myre’s suit to render him immobile. -Helios Boots: These rocket boots increase Myre’s jump height to fifty feet and contain shock-absorbers that allow him to land with ease. The shock of landing drains Myre’s shields temporarily, however. -Nanobot Med Kit: a med kit at Myre’s belt that contains nanobot injections. These injections give Myre temporary regeneration, allowing him to heal from most nonlethal wounds. He has a limited amount of injections, however.
Name: Agatha Age: 46 Gender: Appears female Species: Azulian (well, not really, it just looks that way.) Faction: I don’t know what this means. Role: Co-captain/executioner
Personality: Can I just say Dexter Morgan meets Carl meets Zaphod beeblebrox? No? Okay, well then I’ll explain. Agatha is a violent psychopath with a sense of humor and a moralizing younger sibling she uses like a moral compass because violent psychopaths don’t have such things. She started out killing people for moral reasons, and while she was an axe murdering spree killer, she only killed people who were worse than her, which is to say people who killed others for no good reason. Since people like that come in a limited quantity and since Agatha learned that she quite liked killing people, she expanded the definition of ‘worse than her’ to include rapists, drug dealers and people whom where needlessly physically abusive. Basically, if you were a big enough jerk, chances are you were on her hit list. Eventually, the definition of ‘worse than her’ became so broad that it included petty thieves and people she found generally annoying. Fortunately for the general criminal population, this only lasted for a week before she returned to her usual code via an intervention on her sister’s part, but the fact still stands: She has no moral conscience and uses her sister as a substitute. She is also extremely territorial and hates it when people mess with ‘her things’ which can include people, places, and allies. So, it’s generally a bad idea to threaten the Azulian Empire, bother her friends or touch her computer without asking. You stand to lose anything from your head to your fingers. For example, one of her sister’s boyfriends turned out to be a jerk and now they don’t exist. The mafia threatened the general public and now they don’t exist. Nigel tried to black mail her when she kicked him out of office and she gave a speech about how much of a dick he was before shooting him on national television, which is actually how she got put in charge, because everyone else also thought Nigel was a dick and nobody likes religious cults or mafias. To them, putting her in charge was like electing Julius Caesar or King David. Of course it did come with the requirement that her sister be put in a position of equal power so that Agatha wouldn’t go psycho and kill everyone for entertainments sake. She’s also a major smart ass and likes to invent mean iterations of people’s names so just hope your parents didn’t name you Lewy, Mave, Kurt or Frefrick as she has a gift of making you associate harmless things with dismembered body parts.
Quote: “I’ve not killed anyone who didn’t need killing. Well, mostly.” Backstory: Read the book Mimicry 25. When it comes out, that is. Ask nicely and I’ll let you read some of the draft. I’m not doing a summary, because it’s too complicated.
Actually, screw it.
Agatha was born into a mafia family which had nigh total control of the general populace using superstition and religion as a manipulation tactic and a 'divine' justification for 'what happened to people', ergo, what they did to people. Taba, Agatha's mother, rose to power in this organization because of her brutality and wanton willingness to commit violence of any degree with the express purpose of scaring people into submission. The leader of the organization before her popularized her among his peers as a 'seer', their version of a prophet and gave her the idea of using religious prophecy to justify her killings on the condition that she kill only who she was told and exactly how she was told, so as to foster the belief that becoming uncooperative with the mafia would result in divine retribution. Naturally, this backfired when Taba realized just how much power she had and decided to publicly take credit for the killings, under the pretense that she was a messenger of the seven spirits, specifically the popular Avola. Many of her 'co-workers' were afraid both for their safety and that of their families and made the fatal choice of backing her up on these claims, one in particular going so far as to take out the former leader of the Mafia for her as a bid to gain favor. Agatha would have been around eight at this time, her mother viewing her as an annoying dead weight and the result of a few bad decisions as a 16 year old. Experts theorize that being drug around by a abusive psychopath on a six year killing spree may, possibly, result in anger management issues, antisocial tendencies, violent tendencies and a pathological need for revenge.
It is directly because of the above issues that Agatha does not believe in a higher power of any sort, detests people who lie, cheat, steal and otherwise abuse others for no good reason and has not issue whatsoever in doling out vigilante justice when necessary. It is unclear if her more sadistc tendencies are a result of nature or nurture, so it's probably safe to assume the answer is both.
When she was nine, her mother tried to kill her for 'inflicting her moral conscience on people above questioning.'
Two years later she told a religious teacher who had molested one of her classmates that she'd like to 'show him something' before leading him to the school roof and kicking a loose board out from under him whilst yelling 'gravity!' The teacher died in a hospital hours later and no investigation was launched due to the nature of the crime and the threat posed by her mother.
She didn't kill anybody for another four years, though her mother started making her do animal sacrifices 'for conditioning purposes.'
When she was fifteen she killed the person her mother had doing Azulian sacrifices, Patron Bewe, via a stabbing him in chest with the knife he ritualistically used to kill people. A month later she left home and set up shop in an abandoned bank by a set of train tracks in a relativly crime-free part of town.
She let people hiding from the mafia camp out there after forcibly evicting the former illegal occupants, while she went about turning the lower levels into evidence disposal zones. Once she had that set up, she used information gathered from the refugees combined with what she already knew to find, stalk and vet her next victim, Clairan Hos, the person in charge of the Mafias Azulian trafficking ring.
This was the first of her kills that showed any methodology whatsoever. Before doing anything, she recorded Clairan Hos's working hours and daily schedule, scouted out the premise dug through her trash to find a list of passwords for her computer in the metadata of a flashdrive and disabled the landline and CCTV system save for the camera in her office which transmitted audio and video from her workstation directly to Taba's computer. Wearing sunglasses a baseball cap and white painters' scrubs over a second pair of clothes, Agatha waited outside the house next to a construction crew deconstructing the house across the street. Upon Hos's entry into her home, Agatha 'borrowed' an ax from the construction crew, entered the house and dispatched of Clairan Hos execution style in front of the camera with the intent that Taba see and know that she and her organization were being targeted. She left the premise ten minutes later, leaving everything contaminated with blood at the scene of the crime, doused in the bleach found in Clairan Hos's closet.
This crime went unreported for four years, and served Agatha's purpose of forcing Taba into a confrontation a few weeks later, when, using a disgruntled former-corrupted cop as a source of passwords and login information to the police department, Agatha was able to obtain information confirming the guilt and whereabouts of Quillitan Mavrick in the murder of former mob-boss Hewit Jackson and several unidentified 'street workers' who worked for Mavrick up until their apparent suicides. Quillitan Mavrick was considerably harder to predict than Clairan Hos, due mostly to his drug habit and voyeurism which meant that he kept odd and inconsistent hours and was constantly sneaking off in the middle of the day or the middle of the night. After thoroughly staking out his house, breaking into his house and finding that he had a weird and disturbing obsession with her mother, then showing up expecting to find Quillitan alone only to find extra occupants or none at all, she gave up on her previously established system, camped outside his house till he left alone and tailed him till he put on a pair of headphones and walked down a disused and empty side street at which point she walked up behind him and stabbed him in the back before he even knew she was there. She then rummaged through a bag Quillitan had with him, found his camera and took a picture of the crime scene, later printing it off along with a collection of Quillitan's stalker-photos of Taba and sending them to her with the note asking simply 'Why are the people you surround yourself with such sleazebags?' Upon receiving the message, Taba found one of the people Agatha had been helping hide at the open air market, killed them and then camped out inside a hovercraft parked on the roof of a building overlooking the market for twelve hours until Agatha noticed they were missing and went to the market to investigate, finding the remnants of a crime scene in the center of a fruit stand before Taba opened fire with a sniper rifle, hitting her in the left arm and right leg as she dove for cover. Instead of running for it and risking getting more seriously injured, she took some rags and a metal stir stick and spoon from the fruit stand to make tourniquets for her arm and leg before waiting for Taba to get out of her vehicle to investigate. Thinking that she more seriously injured her, Taba does so and gets slashed at with a knife, disarmed and nearly killed instead, Agatha's injuries being the only reason it was 'nearly' as someone with a hole in their leg can't exactly chase after you very well no matter how determined they are.
They both slink back to their respective hide outs, Agatha uses the police logins to vet people she knew growing up and her mother uses said people to relay Agatha the message that she 'is no better than her father, who also went into hiding instead of dealing with their problems face-to-face.' Agatha is naturally surprised by this, as Taba had previously made a point of bragging about killing him and his 'fake new family', taking the finger of their albino child as a trophy.
(Will add more laterz)
::Abilities::
Skills Spending a grand total of 31 years hunting down and dispatching with criminals of all types has made Agatha good at spotting the criminally inclined rapidly and in a creepy-accurate way that often includes the exact motives of the exact kind of crime the suspect is even thinking about committing. Due to the disturbing frequency at which she kills people, she has naturally gotten quite good at things like one hit knock outs and, you know, murder. If she doesn't like you, you won't know because you'll be dead. And that's just what she could do if she were biological, and given that she doesn't want people knowing that she isn't biological, that tends to be how she fights unless absolutely necessary. In which case, expect to be impaled by a drawer full of silverware that, last you were aware, was located on the other side of the room.
Biological Adaptations: Azulians can win at parkour more than you, their immune systems are way better than yours and they can see higher up the visual spectrum than you. They’re also slightly regenerative. But that’s really irrelevant because she’s not really an Azulian, nor biological. Agatha is (but has not always been) a rouge MIMIC, which is to say, a robot emulating a person killed and covertly replaced for a specific purpose (population control) controlled for the most part by an AI who thinks they are the person killed and replaced. Except Agatha knows she’s an AI, and didn’t appreciate being controlled by someone else due to the intensely rebellious nature of the person the AI emulates. She can be controlled via remote control, but only very crudely as she re-wrote her own code to give the AI system full control all the time and the only person with access to the code via biometrics is her sister Mave, so don’t even try.
As a MIMIC, she has the ability to produce powerful magnetic fields which can be used for purposes such as the flinging of metal or conductive implements, the collapsing of metal rooms (space craft), but only if she is inside them, the frying of electronics within a range limited by power supply, levitation over conductive substances, levitation of conductive substances, the powering of electric vehicles till her power supply runs out, the deflection and/or redirection of conductive objects along field lines, and anything else you can do with electricity and magnetism.
As a robot, she is also a lot stronger, heavier and solid than she looks so don’t challenge her to a game of uncle, punchies or arm-wrestling because you will, invariably, lose.
Weaknesses: The same things that you’re weak to. Plus air-conditioning. Their planet is both hot and humid so chances are your house feels like the arctic winter breeze to them. I’m kidding. Agatha may fake these sensitives, but often times she can’t actually tell what temperature it is or when she’s supposed to have been injured which is a big potential give away. Low temperatures make her magnetism more powerful, and they also amplify the effects of other magnetic substances around her, and since she can modulate her level of magnetism from that of say, a rock, to that of a superconductor due to the fact that she’s composed of millions of tiny nanobots with their own polarities which can align themselves in whatever pattern they want making her, essentially, a ferrimagnet, she can have her polarity/field lines altered by a more powerful magnet. Given that she is also essentially an electromagnet, that’s down to how much power she can generate, so if the power source is somehow severed, (for example, the core of the MIMIC removed) the nanobots lose form and she, or at least the physical representation of her, disintegrates into a fine metallic powder. The AI itself is stored in the MIMIC core so it would be possible for someone to manufacture more nanobots or plug the AI into another system. There’s probably more, but I can’t think of it right now.
Weapons: Anything conductive or magnetic.
Armor: She wears fake armor so when she gets shot and it just bounces off, she can say the armor saved her and not the fact that she’s a MIMIC.
Armor Weakness: Whatever can go through metal or Kevlar.

Name: Mave Age: 31 Gender: Female Species: Azulian Faction: Azulu Role: Moral Adviser Person
Personality: Mave has more sass than she does smarts, and she’s quite smart, almost as smart as she is moralizing. She is one of ‘those people’ who can carry on an argument all day if need be and she quite enjoys commanding people around in a fashion somewhere between a drill sergeant and you’re grandmother trying to coerce you into attending church every Sunday. And, above all, she’s stubborn. In fact, if you put her in a field with a rampaging bull the bull would be the first to back down. Which is both a good and bad quality to have when you’re albino and live on a planet where everyone except your serial killer older sister wants to kill you. In a way, Mave is like the bully version of her sister. She’s not a serial serial killer killer, but she is a bully who bullies bullies. Though instead the abstract ‘destruction of entropy’ BS her sister uses to justify herself, Mave is actually religious and believes that in a perfect world, you wouldn’t need to lie, because you wouldn’t murder, and you wouldn’t murder because you wouldn’t covet, commit adultery, steal or lie. She also doesn’t hate anyone, despite her having plenty of justification to do so. Namely her missing fingers and toe. That isn’t to say she hasn’t done anything immoral. She’s killed several people, directly and indirectly and in a fashion that makes a serial killer like her sister, though it should be noted that all her kills were in self-defense or the direct and immediate defense of others. She prefers not to do amoral things, but recognizes that in an imperfect world, sometimes you have to. Due to her stint in the military, she can also out cuss a sailor, and it is not uncommon for her and Agatha to get into ‘debates’ consisting primarily of the word ‘toktok’, which roughly translates to ‘the sexual function of a dung beetle’ but has the amazing ability to change meaning entirely based on tone-of-use and can function as any part of speech. Quote: “I say only what needs saying, and to you, that means saying quite a lot!” Backstory: You will have to wait till the book comes out because I do not want to write a plot summary.
::Abilities:: Biological Adaptations: Azulians can win at parkour more than you, their immune systems are way better than yours and they can see higher up the visual spectrum than you. They’re also slightly regenerative. Weaknesses: The same things that you’re weak to. Plus air-conditioning. Their planet is both hot and humid so chances are your house feels like bone dry arctic winter breeze to them. Though, Mave specifically has albinism which increases her risk of skin cancer and gives her vision problems, which she counters with spf 300 and contacts. Weapons: Laser grenades and two ballistic pistols. Armor: carbon nanotube and graphene laced iron chest plate and helmet, graphene fabric everything else. Armor Weakness: Melting, burning.
Personality: Well, first off and quite comically, Jillian is a psychopath. In fact, her scores are exactly the same as Agatha’s, except for completely different reasons. See, Agatha is a psychopath and a sadist because she likes killing people. Jillian is a psychopath because she likes manipulating people, pretending to care to get close to someone before using them for profits and her own personal gain. She really, truly, does not give a shit about you, about anyone save herself. But she is good at making herself appear likable. Charismatic. Which is why both Agatha and Mave detest her. Agatha because she knows what Jillian is and thinks she’s a complete moron, Mave because she thinks Jillian is a stupid selfish jerk. Which, to be entirely fair, she is. Stupid. In fact, the only thing she’s any good at is politics and PR crap because it involves mass manipulation. She was born into a mafia family, and she would have been successful, if it weren’t for the fact that she can’t run a cartel worth shit. They couldn’t even use her for the cash register because her math skills were that bad. That, and she would try and manipulate members of the mafia indiscriminately which, once they realized she wasn’t into them and their wallet was missing, well… I’ll let you fill in the gaps. Her version of ‘hitting rock bottom’ was going to college because, despite her 3rd grade education level, she thought herself naturally above such things. She failed everything, of course, but because people dislike them equally for different reasons, she was made to be Mave’s roommate which is about as bad a combination as putting a bull and a jaguar in the same cage. Mave who had plenty of experience dealing with scarier people than Jillian, put up with none of her shit from the beginning with the result that Jillian thinks of Mave as more psychotic and evil than she is. Or, at least that’s what she liked to tell people until she and Mave were forced to ask Agatha to get rid of someone, and then Agatha was who she was terrified of. The only reason she works from them now being that Agatha offered her the job of making people think putting a violent psychopath in charge was good idea and that was too much of a challenge for her to turn down. Quote: “Aw, sweetie, I feel so sorry for you. It must be hard loosing someone you care about, even if they did things you wouldn’t be proud of.” Backstory: I think I gave you enough to go on already.

Name: Exo or Zalphar Age: We don't know. Gender: Asexual Species: Aciran Faction: Exo or Zalphar Role: Le mad scientist/co-captain
Personality: Personality: Exo is what one might call a pessimistic optimist and an introverted extrovert as well as an analytical genius with a PHD in the art of being an annoying git. This basically means that it finds it humorous to put a negative or sarcastic spin on normally positive things and makes often cliché jokes about stuff that's supposed to be deadly serious. It’s also got a nasty tendency to complain about anything that's even slightly annoying to it. Such as sitting somewhere with nothing to do longer than 5 and 1/2 seconds. Or if someone is being ignorant or otherwise stupid or disinteresting you can expect to be aggressively griped at.
Probably the worst of its extroverted behaviors is its obsession with experiments. It doesn't matter what experiment, where that kind of experiment is supposed to be conducted, or even how it’s supposed to be conducted. If it says in bold print, 'FOR LABORATORY USE ONLY' you can expect to see whatever it is being used anywhere and everywhere with no regard whatsoever to things like SAFETY and COMMON SENSE. As a result, Exo's house looks more like a weapons testing facility crossed with a laboratory filled with anything from dangerous chemicals to biohazardous materials/cultures. And then we've got the part where its actually a time machine which isn't perfect and glitches a lot in rather dangerous ways. Which is why its really good thing Exo is regenerative, because if it wasn't it would have inadvertently killed itself a long long time ago without any help from any antagonistic force. However, the fact that it knows it can survive most of its highly dangerous experiments if they go wrong, basically means that if you try to explain even the most basic form of common sense to it, you might as well be speaking another language. As a result, it tends to put other people at risk by simply being in the same room as them, because you never know what new thing it’s been dying to test. Does that mean it will intentionally put chemicals in your drinks? Yes. Does it mean it will do something like throw a cup that says 'Best Boss in the World' across the room and yell “LIAR! YOU JUST WANT TO BE PROMOTED TO A HOT CHOCOLATE MUG! YOU MANIPULATIVE LITTLE GIT!” just to see what everyone in the area would do? yes. Does it mean that its likely to test some new weapon it created (which may or may not violently explode/spray acid/turn into a singularity/spew poison gas) the second things get disinteresting? yes. Does it mean that it will do pointless 'experiments' like drawing faces on melons and putting them in someone else's microwave so they explode? Yes. Will it throw objects out windows for no reason other than the comedy of it? Yes, and it's not always limited to just inanimate/non organic objects.

::Abilities:: Biological Adaptations: This is an article I wrote about them for the Mind Games book and I’m copying it here because I’m lazy. The simplest way to describe an Acirian is to akin it to a bipedal frog with a more angular version of an axolotls head and the regenerative powers of a flatworm on Red Bull. In order to most simply sum up their average personality one must only take the intelligence of someone with a 200-something IQ, pair it with the mentality of someone who entered and won the Darwin awards 5 years in a row and lastly throw in a twisted sense of humor and a proclivity towards insanity. But, I believe we already went over that last part.
You may consider this the abstract.
If we want to get into the specifics, Acirians are approximately 3-4 and 1/2 feet tall, green or violet skinned depending on their pigmentation or lack thereof, green being the pigmented version. A pigmented Acirians skin is actually a light yellow color and the intensity of the color will change based on diet. An Acirian who lives off standard space-fare from a wide variety of planets will typically be green while ones who eat a more restricted or electrolyte and mineral deficient diet will typically be a light blue or purple in color. If the Aciran has not regenerated recently the color intensifies in either pigmented or unpigmented types. It is possible for a green Acirian to turn Violet and vice versa. This is most easily observed after an Acirian regenerates 30% or more of its body mass as it takes awhile for them to regain proper electrolyte and mineral levels.
An Aciran's 'brain' is not limited to its skull, it has small clusters of neurons and glial cells all throughout its body which serve as data caches for the central nervous system. This is a essential survival mechanism that allows Aciran's to retain back-ups of important information incase they loose their heads. Should this happen, the Acirian will remember all information it had deemed important, but will be unable to recall extraneous data resulting in memory gaps and subject-specific memory loss. The trick to Acirian regeneration is that there are specific gene sets that activate to regenerate specific organs and cell types. This, combined with the fact that they have undifferentiated stem cell clusters known as blastema stored in small grouping all throughout their bodies means that if a wrong gene set were to be activated artificially such as in laboratory tests, an Acirian could grow a kidney where they were supposed to be regenerating a hand. It is also possible for them to grow cell types and organs from other species that would normally not be compatible but that requires that all the genetic information that goes into making that specific organ be reproduced and held in the kamikaze protein transport unit that acts as part of the Acirian immune system specific to targeting foreign cells or cancer. All signaling information not presented in such a way is ignored. The only other species that has a immune system similar to an Acirians in that of Azulians who are in fact a splice between an Aciran and Lumien chromosome set.
An Acirian's cardiovascular system runs their hemocyanin blood through a set of organs specific to their species called, shockingly, Liver-like Blood and Blastema Alteration System, or LBBAS, because Acirians inability to name things creatively has been around since their species started vivisecting itself to determine why they didn't stay dead like other creatures. Anyway, the LBBAS, as the name suggests, is passably similar to a liver but that's as far as it goes. It functions as a blood filter yes, but it also generates blastema and can generate the full range of gene sets responsible for everything that makes up an Acirian, however it only activates if the Acirian goes into cardiac arrest in which case it functions as a reset button, taking inventory of the entire biological system through a system-wide reset-specific nervous system that, to put it simply, liquefies all damaged tissues by undifferentiating their cells using something similar to our neuropeptides which spread from the nearest severed nerve to the surrounding cells, telling them to revert to stemcell mode. Using the lymphatic system, the LBBAS signals the body to flush out everything after the severed nerve that isn't a stemcell. This allows Acirians to survive most poisons and toxins as the second they cause the subject to stop blood circulation, they get flushed out of the system with lymphatic fluid. However in the case of venoms, since they tend to remain in the bloodstream, after a reset has occurred, if the problem is not resolved by the LBBAS-related nervous system, the blood is then filtered through the LBBAS and the immune system put into hyperdrive which results in any proteins still in circulation being metabolized or isolated prior to them being flushed out of the subject via the digestive system, or more correctly, the upchuck thereof. Neurotoxic venoms, poisons and toxins still affect Acirians similarly to other creatures with the addition of the effects of its interference with the LBBAS related nervous system which can result in misidentification of stem cells for foreign cells and vice versa. It can also cause the LBBAS to go into reset mode without the Aciran actually going into cardiac arrest or for it to fail to do so in the case of cardiac arrest. Common symptoms of neurotoxic poisoning in Acirians are seizures, heightened allergic reactions, liquification of unaffected organs or body parts, inhibited or altered regenerative abilities, neurological degeneration followed by an imperfect reset in the case of an altered LBBAS reset. With no LBBAS reset or response, symptoms and outcome will match exactly those of regular subjects although in some cases treatment will vary.
As a result of the above, if an Acirian goes into cardiac arrest resuscitation of any kind is detrimental to recovery due to damage to ribs and the increase in blood circulation interfering with LBBAS related functions which, due to organ liquification, can result in internal bleeding, falsely triggered regenerative shut-down, volume loss and later growth abnormalities and cysts due to the circulation of region specific neuropeptides and stem cells to unaffected parts of the body. Depending on the nature of injury resulting in cardiovascular shut down, side affects can even extend to later infections or substance related tissue damage due to transfer to other parts of the body. The only case wherein resuscitation is beneficial is when the LBBAS fails to engage as a result of neurotoxins inhibiting it's neurological signaling system. In this case it's best to administer anti-venom if available and resort to resuscitation only as a last resort. If that doesn't work, it may be necessary trigger regenerative function despite the fact that the system by which that normally occurs is out of commission. The easiest way to do this is to damage the LBBAS directly via a sharp pointed object like a knife, sword or spear. However this requires the knowledge of where the LBBAS is, and if one does not know, the certified medical procedure of chucking the subject off a cliff to reset everything in one go has been known to work. If no cliffs or other suitable objects are available, the 'stab till find' method will also work. Weaknesses: see above. Weapons: Microwave gun, taser net gun, and whatever else it can macgyver out of a roll of toilet paper, Tupperware and whatever's lying around on the floor. Armor: Read: regenerative. Armor Weakness: Read: no armor.
Other: You're a terrible human being, you're bad, and you should feel bad. Now go die in a hole.

::Appearance:: Height: 4 ft 5 in Weight: 63 lbs Physical Characteristics: (This is my drawing of my character. I drew her too large to show the legs, however.) (This is a friend’s drawing of my character, which acurately represents the way the character’s legs and tail look. The fur on the tail is the same shade as the hair on the head.) Short pink hair, green eyes, blue skin. Wide shoulders, skinny hips, double jointed arms and legs. Retractable claws, 5 ft. 2 in. long tail. Clothing: Graphene jacket, pants and gloves. Computer interface is built into gloves, so the character can check her e-mail, or write a word document, anytime she wants, without having to carry a cellphone around. Energy Generating Shoe, which produces energy with which to power or recharge mobile electronic devices, when the wearer walks, is used to power the computer interface in the jacket. Shoes are also composed of graphene. Clothing and shoes have a cloth insulating layer, between the graphene layer, and the wearer's skin, to remediate the electrical conductivity of the graphene outer layer.
::Personality::
Personality: A resourceful, unemployed electronics engineer, looking for any monetary gain she can get her hands on. Has a disregard for personal safety, as well as a thirst for adventure, which combined, make her a rather careless, happy-go-lucky sort of person, who is always looking for ways to get around the rules. Has no compunction against lying, theft, and cheating. Introverted and doesn’t like talking to others, or meeting new people. Prefers to keep most of her interactions with a few select people, and her communication in written form, rather than verbal form. Doesn’t like any form of government or set establishment, for the simple reason that they are the people that make the rules, and she hates the rules. Also hates being a part of groups or establishments, because she hates being told what to do, and being around large groups of other people. Seems slightly unstable, emotionally, most of the time, but only occasionally has a mental breakdown for no apparent reason. Usually seems like her blow-up’s are about silly, unimportant things, but they are usually a result of a deeply troubled past, which she has never shared with anyone. Possibly this fact is instrumental in why she hates authority figures and rules. Is generally pretty reserved and slightly suspicious around other people, and may lose her shit over seemingly simple matters. Is prone to being somewhat rude and hostile when confronted with a complicated matter of relations that she screwed up on. Is therefore constantly pissing off the few friends she has. Is also prone to willingly put other’s lives, as well as her own, at risk. Is also prone to getting drunk, and smoking large quantities of cigarettes quite frequently, which is another reason she has few friends, pisses them off quite frequently, and puts herself and others at a pretty big risk of immediate serious injury or death. Is also a ssnoop, and likes going through other peoples stuff. Quote: “Leave me alone, or you’re going to lose some body parts.” Backstory: I hand this out on a need-to-know basis. You’re not on the list.
::Abilities:: Biological Adaptations: Has advanced blastemic regeneration, and can regenerate up to 30% of her body mass, but must be in a comatose state to do so. Can jump about 12 feet in height, and 20 feet in distance from a standing position. Can run about 36 mph, maximum speed. Has a low metabolism, which means she doesn’t have to eat very much, which is a good thing, since her home planet has a desert climate, and also a low metabolism is necessary for regeneration to work. Weaknesses: All the normal things. Weapons: Superconductive railgun rifle, which has a range of about one mile, projectile launch speed is about 10,000 mph, and can completely obliterate a person, and blow a hole in a space-ship hull. Handheld EMP generator, which shuts down all electronics within a 2 mile range of it. Regular rifle, which does what you’d expect. Armor: Graphene clothing is used as armor. Is bullet-proof and fire resistant. Also has graphene helmet, which has the same protection abilities as the clothing. Armor Weakness: Electrocution, stabbing.
Other: Leave me alone, and you’ll be left alone. Bother me, and you get hurt. Hurt me, and you die.
Here's my character sheet.
Name: Trin Lance Shivmiista Age: 27 Gender: Male Species: Fluulla Faction: Space Pirates Role: Co-Captain ::Appearance:: Height: 5 feet, 1 inch Weight: 92 lbs Physical Characteristics: Short, blue, slightly furry, with suspicious orange eyes, blue and turquoise head and tail hair. Clothing: Generally wears cargo pants/shorts, and boots. ::Personality:: Personality: Steals space-ship parts for a living. Is a high school drop-out, and doesn't like highly educated people, because he believes they are stuck up. Introverted, but likes people, as long as they aren't stuck up, or whiny. Has an unquenchable thirst for adventure, which is why he steals space ship parts, because ' you never know the kind of people you'll meet'. Doesn't hold grudges. Thinks of himself as friends with the people he steals from, and even refers to them as 'travel buddies'. Only steals parts from battle ships or cruise ships, because they're big, and can be easily found and assisted, when they go missing. Thinks men are better than women. Is religious. Speaks with a varying speech pattern, based on the audience present. Believes capital punishment is wrong because 'everyone deserves a second chance'. Believes that all governments steal money from their citizens to line their own pockets. Believes there would be no wars, and every one would generally get along with each other, 'if the government ceased to exist, because, the whole purpose of the government is to make rich people richer'. Doesn't pay taxes, but gives that money to homeless people, instead. Quote: “ All those rich guys are selfish bastards who ought to go die in a hole. So, it’s my job to take all their money, and give it to those who will put it to better use.” Backstory: : Dad was a mob boss, and mom was a junky. My mom married my dad, for the free 'candy'. When I was 2, Grandma convinced Mom to go into rehab. When Mom was no longer on the drugs, she decided she didn't like Dad, or his influence on me, so she was perpetually sending me off to stay at Grandma's house. Grandma was very religious, and didn't like the direction her daughter's life was going, so she wanted to make sure her daughter's son didn't go the same way. As a result, she was constantly taking me to church, revival meetings, and such, and eventually I decided I liked and believed the stuff I was hearing, and became devotedly religious, myself. When I was 14, Dad, who was getting older at this point, decided to teach me how to run his crime syndicate, with the result that I spent much less time with Grandma, and more time around crooks. Pretty soon, I believed my dad, when he said that the government is an evil institution designed to help the rich get richer, and education was for the rich and made you stuck up and stingy. As a result I dropped out of school at age 15. I also spent less and less time around Grandma, and moved away from the religion I'd been devoted to. At 16, in an effort to impress my dad, and his 'friends', I began stealing expensive parts from space-ships, indiscriminately. But, when I was 17 and 1/2, I went to see Grandma, for the last time, on her deathbed, and she wanted to know what I had been doing for the past 10 months, as I hadn't seen her at all, during that time. I told her, and she was quite disappointed. She then told me that she couldn't keep me from being a petty thief, if I wanted to, but she made me promise to always go to church, no matter what, and to never steal from anyone who doesn't deserve it. And I've kept that promise, for the past 10 years, and intend to keep it, until I die. ::Abilities:: Biological Adaptations: Can climb trees very well, and jump very high. Can easily do one-arm pull-ups. Can see infrared light, and all of the visible color spectrum, except dark blue, and purple. Weaknesses: Does not do well in cold temperatures Weapons: Robotron Combustion gun, which blows up people via converting the water contained within their bodies into it’s component parts: hydrogen and oxygen, which then, due to the heat of the initial reaction, explode, which however can only blow up body parts the size of arms and legs, per shot. A flamethrower, which operates as would be expected. Armor: Carbon nano-tube bullet proof vest, bullet proof helmet, holocaust cloak. Armor Weakness: Combustion, stabbing. Other: (Anything not already in the sheet)
Age: 28 (but that is not really relevant at all to his mental or physical state)
Gender: It’s complicated, but the term: he, is what he prefers to be referred to as.
Species: Claymoor (He is the only specimen conglomerate of his species... that we know of...)
Faction: Claymoor
Role: Captain, crew, cook, cleaner, and lastly, passenger.
::Appearance:: Whatever he feels like looking like at the given time.
Height: It’s very variable.
Weight: That depends on what he has been eating.
Physical Characteristics: He is an amorphous being made of supercells, which are held together by prehensile cilia and can use water pressure, many chromatophores per cell, and changes in cell arrangement to imitate the color, texture and general appearance of objects and beings around him. His cells can release and absorb water to change their solidity to more closely match the apparent solidity of the objects he imitates. All of his cells are 100% self-reliant (if separated they can continue to live just fine), and he can control separated cells around 20 feet away, allowing him to break apart into multiple colonies so as to better camouflage himself in a foreign environment by imitating multiple smaller objects such as several books on a shelf. Not having a skeleton can make lifting heavy objects rather difficult, so Claymoor often has a, four armed, two legged and tailed, titanium skeleton inside him onto which cells anchor their cilia to form temporary 'muscles'.
Clothing: WARNING THIS CHARACTER IS NAKED ALMOST ALL THE TIME. (But LOOKS like he is wearing clothes)
::Personality::
Personality: Easily entertained, due to forgetting unimportant things after only 3 weeks. Dislikes staying in one place for too long, but often does not remember all the places he has been, so he frequently revisits them. Claymoor is also a prankster, and enjoys seeing people react to things. Kind of secretive about what he is, and only tells a few people. However, he often does very, well, impossible things, in public, which some people will see and figure that he is a shapeshifter.
Quote: “Wow, my mind is just--” *Touches forehead with fingertips* *Head explodes with splatters of what looks like brain matter* *All ejected matter re-converges to Claymoor’s feet, and a new head reforms*
Backstory: You remember that Crystalpaper stuff that started growing everywhere 22 years ago? So does Claymoor. Because Claymoor IS crystal paper...
::Abilities:: He is a shapeshifter. I will just leave it at that.
Skills: Claymoor is very intelligent, due to his whole body containing his brain matter. Good at computer stuff, excellent depth perception, highly accurate with laser weapons, as well as kinetics. Claymoor's main weapon is a sword, so unsurprisingly, he is a great swordsman, and can fight using the sword two handed, one handed, or no "hands". Claymoor has gotten very good at imitation, so good infact, that there is visibly no difference between him, and the person he is imitating. Claymoor is also good at imitating people's behaviors, so it's difficult to tell if someone is actually claymoor by studying their behavior.
Biological Adaptations: Being composed of a couple million independently movable and modular cells, he can squeeze through spaces less than a millimeter wide (because the cells have very crumpled walls so they can stretch out or release water and compress down into a smaller orb, or a pancake), he can rearange his cells into a glider form and glide away, or he can imitate and replace (NON MECHANICAL) parts of a car (with help from the car parts which make it functional like the axles, wheels and engine) and drive away.
Weaknesses: Fire, acid, the vacuum of space, radiation. The usual.
Weapons:
Shaped like this, except charcoal grey, with a deep blue tracery of lines along the blade:
(Works on the principle of a molecular lattice holding sheets of graphene in a flat razor-like configuration. Also, a magnetic field pushes things around the sword, making it possible to make very deep cuts in very cohesive materials... like spaceship armor). There are a few other accessories on the sword that make it cooler, such as an electric capacitor-like device, but you don't really care that much do you?
A high velocity
that can fire long or short range using a magnetic system, or explosives. With multiple cartridge types and calibers, this gun is fully customizable. (Also can fire a short range plasma blast when in magnetic mode) There is a knob on the bottom that is a deployable spike (stick it in the ground), allowing Claymoor to shoot high velocity rounds with a low amount of kickback.
Armor: A faraday/kineticage (it just looks like a copper studded gray sphere about 2 feet in diameter). It protects from plasma, electricity, and dampens kinetic energy (bullets and stuff). He wears it folded up on his back like a backpack. An invisibility field cloaks the sphere.
Armor Weakness: Massive kinetic energy. EG: a large impact.
Gadgets (equipped): Multitool, case of rechargeable clip on thrusters, levitron sword attachment (attaches to one edge of the blade, and the xenon diflouride battery in the pommel powers the levetron, which is like the Silver surfer's surf board, except with a supersharp blade on the bottom).
Other: All weapons gadgets, and armor, are powered by XeF2 batteries. Plasma and explosive modes for the railgun are fueled by Dicyanoacetylene and O8.
Name: Odonata
Length: 32' Width: 16'
Appearance: Something like this, but lime green with back accents. And sharper, forget all those detail lines, and make all the edges and corners sharp. The projections in front should be thinner and more stabby looking. Here it is:
Top Speed: 600*LiV when not teleporting (This can be lowered or raised to accommodate average speed for ships, as this is supposed to be a very fast, streaker class ship.)
Weaponry: EMP generator, directional and non. Magnetic/Diamagnetic repelling/attracting device, does what it says on the tin, repels and attracts things (metals, water, etc. Magnetically neutral things go through its field unaffected.). Six rail guns with different ammo types and calibers. Every edge on the ship is supersharp, wings, nosecone, aft, etc. Also, there are 0 (non pringle) concave curves on this ship, and that, combined with the supersharp edges makes this ship very streamlined.
Dynamically. Updated. Firing. Auto-targeting. System. (It's just a real good auto-targeting system, usually controlled by OdRIs [pronounced Audrey])
Defenses: 7 inches of Carbon(carbon)-Carbon-2*Carbon composite building material makes up the armor. Nearly frictionless outer hull material aids in lessening kinetic impact damage. Thruster limbs and some surfaces of the ship can bend and re-position. The Odonata's streamlined shape makes kinetic weapons significantly less effective, but striking from the side increases the chances of getting a crippling hit. Dia/Magnetic repelling device slipstreams slow moving high mass dia/magnetic objects, and can do the same for fast moving low mass objects (nothing crazy). It also screws up missile targeting (missiles can still hit it, just not too accurately). Other Vessels: Macro, Micro, and Nano swarms. 4 Osprey mini-drones.
Weaknesses: Antimatter makes it go away, and so does a singularity, among a few other things. (These are not the only things that make it go away, just some examples. A nuke, a well aimed and magnetically neutral missile would work just as well. So would chemical weapons designed to deconstruct carbon nanotubes and graphine. Captain: Claymoor
Other: Along with a cooling laser (Takes thermal energy from the ship, and converts it into a laser beam) for sunsurfing, the Odonata also contains a small armory for Claymoor to select ammo and sidearms from. (don't worry, nothing but ammo, grenades, and a few different sidearms, like pistols, and other gadgets)
