Demigods of the Dawn: Chain of Harmonia

The adventures of Percy Jackson and his girlfriend-turned-wife Annabeth Chase may have ended as they move on to settle down with a family, but the story is far from over...

Camp Half-Blood has been expanding at an alarming rate to accommodate cabins for the children of the minor gods and goddesses, but the discrimination against them from the descendants of the main Olympian deities still rages on...

When Hephaestus sends two lesser demigods on a suicide quest to retrieve a cursed necklace, little do they know that they are been thrown into an ugly emotional war between three gods, each who is armed with a dark agenda that may change the fate of Camp Half-Blood once more...

A new journey BEGINS with two unlikely demigods - can they set their differences aside and triumph over the terrible ending that awaits them, or will they crumble to their sad destiny?

Now that the thread and the CS are out of the way...

Who goes first? *flips a coin* :P
1. We can go with our characters kinda bump into each other and then crash into Rachel's Oracle cabin...and that ominous prophecy is revealed to them; or
2. We can have Chiron picking them out from the rest of the young quest-less demigods to go ask Rachel for one; or
3. Aphrodite just decides to throw out a suicidal quest specially for our OCs because she's too vain to care about the life and death of a few minor demigods - her love for jock Ares is more important than anything else

I think that the third one sounds best, maybe Aphrodite could have something against one of our characters' grandparents (Gods) so she's putting out her frustration and anger on them. Maybe the first idea actually, . Aphrodite could always of asked Dionysus at Camp Half-Blood to send two certain demigods (that she has a grudge against) to get her the Necklace of Harmonia so he gives these two demigods (our characters) the quest thinking that they will never survive.

Maybe we could even mix all three, they could bump into each other and crash into Rachel's cabin, while the Oracle is telling them the prophecy Aphrodite could convince (which wouldn't be too hard) Dionysus to send these demigods on the quest for the Necklace of Harmonia. He could get Chiron to do it, not telling Chiron his intentions which is to kill the demigods off as he hates having to be at Camp Half-Blood and not being able to drink wine. All three into one.

Three in one - lovely indeed. I know I did say I have no intention whatsoever to kill of my OC (I mean, what for anyway?) but you're tickling the little sadism in me to bully Lance a bit, heh.

Whenever you're ready you can go first? I need to do a bit of catchup here - for some strange reasons I'm getting quite a number of rpers who are interested to partner up with me claiming to have seen my 1x1 interest thread but I don't remember creating such thread...

Honestly speaking, if I'm ever born a demigod I probably resent my godly parent as much as Luke did... They can be heroes but mostly in their afterlife.

No, I'm in the process of creating one tomorrow, and I've checked that I had never created any interest thread on this site...

I'm totally not sorry at all to bully my own OC a bit there muwahahaha.

Jokes aside, I don't quite understand what Val is trying to say. :/ I'm sorry - English isn't my first language. ^^;

Basically, Valarie was saying that if Rachel guessed that her and Lance were 'together' then it would be a really bad guess but not so bad if she didn't know that they (Lance and Valarie) had only just met.

This is it: should they go to Chiron for advice on deciphering the prophecy, or just sneak out of the camp at night to begin their quest already? Probably visit Val's grandad first, right?

I think that it would be better to go to Chiron first so that they don't get into trouble or anything before the quest has even begun. Anyway, if Chiron still doesn't want Valarie going on a quest then she may have to sneak out either way.

I hope you don't mind me moving the RP forward a little faster?

Was going to write out Chiron's part talking to our OCs but to avoid possible accidental godmodding of Val, I thought it's best to discuss how we're going to proceed the plot with you first. Chiron will be sending our characters to Morpheus to begin their quest, right? We'll need to agree on where they should be looking for the dream god - whether they will be going to the underworld to find him, or Val's grandfather is lurking somewhere in the mortal world hidden by the Mist or something. :)

I have a crisis lately: when I'm at school or work my mind is choked full of ideas for RPs, but when I'm actually on this site my brain is dead and writer's block comes in to party. *bangs head on table* Been lacking sleep, so that's probably why my head is malfunctioning.
