With his own magic, help from a time travelling brit, and a great deal of luck, Viscerous had managed to send out a challenge through all space-time, inviting anyone to seek him out for a contest of strength. He was tired of restraining his power for so long, seeking an outlet for which to unleash his full might upon. Today seemed as though it might be the one, and Viscerous could barely contain his excitement. In his message he had included his own time and position on Earth. He knew someone, somewhere, in sometime would answer.

In the meantime while he waited for his response, Viscerous prepared himself. He removed the short sword from his person, discarding it with its scabbard through a portal he opened to the Backyard. Along with the sword, he also removed his limiter belt, tossing it through as well. At least in the Backyard they would be safe from the devastation to come.

After the removal of the belt, Viscerous could feel his body changing. He screamed at the excruciating ordeal, as it always remained painful to change form. There was a flash of light around him as his body shifted completely. The ground upon which Viscerous stood had been pushed down into a small crater, though Viscerous now stood taller than before. His height rose to two and a half meters, and his skin had turned to glistening white scales. A tail about half his height in length had sprouted, and large wings, double the wingspan of his arms, protruded from the backs of his shoulders. His body retained all its proportions, though his legs were now digitigrade, fingers and toes tipped with claws, head too changing, elongating to form a short snout filled with razor teeth, with two horns growing up and back from above the holes that were now his ears. His clothes lay in a pile beside his feet, having fallen off during the instant Viscerous's body became mana before reforming.

As with the sword and belt, Viscerous deposited the clothes through the portal and into the Backyard, leaving himself only with his primary sword. As soon as Viscerous laid his fingers upon it the blade wreathed itself in each of the five elements, forming a vortex of magic which extended double the blade's length. Now armed and ready, Viscerous surveyed the area around him. A blizzard had been whipping around for a while before, though the weather was calm now in the Antarctic. The clouds began clearing and Viscerous was left in the vast tundra, under only the light of the stars, though casting the brightest light around via his sword.

“What insolence is this? To even try to reach the halls of those who stand as your betters by such a significant divide that you are like an ant standing before a mountain? You stand not as a threat that must be destroyed for the good of the collective, oh no, I am indulging in my own desire to destroy you now and to send a message that will not soon be forgotten.”

Azakanealina’Kaelin, the Sculptor, member of the universe spanning collective of Ascended, individuals with the power to manipulate the energy of a private solar system, masters of Antireen control, appeared on Earth as his form materialized out of pure energy. The snow around him was sucked into his materializing body alongside the ice beneath, changing as it bent to the will of the Sculptor. Slowly his chosen Avatar formed, a rocky humanoid appearance of a man’s upper body, save for four arms and the lack of legs which forced the figure to float a couple feet off the ground.

Kaelin had appeared less than twenty feet behind the upstart he wished to destroy, his opening tirade seemingly voiced from all around the Draconic creature before he appeared. The rocky form was imposing, but it lacked the pure bestial nature Viscerous seemed to have taken. However, contained within the Sculptor was a cruel intelligence, and an abundance of ability.

A smile cracked across his lips as Viscerous heard the voice suddenly surrounding himself. The being which spoke in such a grandiose way thought highly of itself, and this only served to further spur Viscerous's excitement. As the speech faded into the faint wind blowing over the snowy desert, he could only assume that his opponent would be making their entrance. Behind him, Viscerous heard the snow rustling unnaturally, ice cracking likewise. He turned to face the cause of the noise.

"A rock?" Viscerous questioned the form of his adversary, floating above the ground yet still below the regular eye level of his Gear form. "If that is what shall be attempting to eradicate me, I believe this may be quite entertaining. Very well, rock! Give me your best and I shall give you mine!" His voice was roared from his maw, bellowing across the frozen wastes. Viscerous had even deemed it necessary to use his magic to manipulate the air carrying his voice, causing it to greatly amplify the sound, loud enough to cause decent damage in the ears of many biological organisms, and with enough force to knock over small trees. Viscerous didn't expect this to cause any damage to his opponent, only having wanted to give a demonstration as to a small portion of his power.

After his own talking, it was time to get serious. Viscerous didn't know how the physics of nature would effect this opponent, though he knew he would be able to find out quickly. The light emitted by his sword grew brighter as he poured mana into it, charging it quickly before unleashing the energy as magic. "Freezing torrent!" The words crackled with power, focusing and directing his magic to manipulate the snow and ice around the two of them, melting most into water while leaving some shards of ice floating. The water rose into the air before surging toward the earthen torso, appearing as a river through the sky. Viscerous believed this attack would work much like erosion, breaking the four armed figure apart, though he wouldn't be surprised if the being emerged with little damage.

“The elements, how quaint.” Kaelin did not see in a conventional sense, he perceived the flow of energy around him in its most primal form. This in turn gave him a greater insight into someone’s intentions than he should have, for he could see the flashes of colour that signified muscles preparing to exert themselves, or kinetic energy about to be released. In this case he saw the sudden increase in movement in the water particles that were held tight together initially in the form of ice. That was what alerted him milliseconds after his foe activated his ability as to his intention.

He raised one hand dramatically, and the ice slowly melting into water intensified the process of transferring through states tenfold. It still formed a river in the sky, but if one looked particularly closely they would note it steaming as water evaporated under the intensity of Kaelin’s power. It shot towards him, and almost as quickly disintegrated in clumps, evaporating into the air as steam or falling to the ground far short of Kaelin, as the material through which his foe utilized his ability was rendered useless by Kaelin’s power. It was as if the water had been met by a gushing torrent of flame in mid-air, and if Kaelin was of the type he certainly could have done just that, but he decided this internal combustion of his foe’s attack would be far more intimidating.

He did not launch his own counter, only stared at his foe as the snow and ice melted around him, running in small rivers across the terrain as it was profoundly altered by the presence of the two near-gods who fought upon it.
