"War...a monster capable of destroying any nation , making people live in pure confussion and hate"

The words of Galard's father resonated inside his head as he stood among corpses and wounded soldiers, both allies and enemies.
He reacted when an ally soldiers bumped into him from behind, he quickly shethed his sword and started to look for survivors.

"Everyone! We must hurry up! bring more water and bandages!"

He shouted as he helped and wounded ally to sit in the blood stained grass, took some bandages from his backpack and wraped them around the wounded arm of the soldiers.

The battle seemed to have ended in a withdraw from both sides and Galard had been sent in a small unit of 500 soldiers to assitst the wounded.

"We..did it...They could not cross... King's Bridge..."

The soldier said with the srenght he had left

"You did a good job, now rest.."

Galard said while helping him drink some wine

There was that certain feeling in the air - the feeling that you had not quite given everything you had to gain victory. The sickly pale man spat to the ground and stared to the field that had not too many moments ago been a proper battlefield. The Pale Strategist, Lord Commander Caramir Laethros sat on the back of a large black stallion, wearing his black armor and looking rather sour and exhausted. "Look at this. We could not cross the bridge and the whole battle was a complete waste of resources." He snarled to no one in particular and shook his head. In his opinion the battle could have turned in their favor had they postponed the cavalry charges for just a little more, but still as the leading strategist on the field he took full responsibility of the outcome.

Caramir removed his helmet and closed his eyes. His head was pounding - it had been a tiring day. "Send a rider with a flag of parley to the enemy lines. If I know anything about anything there is a member of the Ashford's there whom I'd like to have a word with. Tell the rider to give a message to him." After a while a rider had been chosen to take the message to Galard.

The message was quite short and simple.

Caramir Laethros would have a word with you. Please, give the messenger your answer and if you wish to attend a meeting feel free to bring a whole army at your back if you so see fit. You choose the place. The Lord Commander will wait till sunset for your answer.

With a white flag and the roll of parchment that held the message the rider began galloping towards the enemy rear guard.

Scarlett stood at the far edge of camp motionless above the body of her enemy breathing in shallow breaths as though any air she breathed would cause the soldier more pain than he had already endured. She knew it was not possible, but the reality of what she had just done fell onto her conscious with unbearable weight. She knew she would have had to kill a man, and she had many times before, but always from afar or up in a tree, never had she ever had to use her dagger before. A man bumped into her from behind making her jump forward and trn around bow at the ready only to find a soldier in a drunken state looking her up and down. "What do you want?" She snarled, pointing the arrow directly at his chest and narrowing her gaze. His eyes narrowed in response before turning away. Turning on her heels and lowering her bow she wrenched the dagger out of the mans chest, closed his eyes, and turned away with the not so comforting thought that she would have been dead had she of not done killed the man, and she would have to do it again, soon.

"Scar!" Scarlett popped her head around the corner to find a soldier who was badly wounded stumbling towards her. "The lady... at the... uh... clincy place..." He took a sharp intake of breath making her cringe and the thought of the pain her must be in.

"Yes, What does she need?" Walking forward she placed herself underneath his arm, letting him lean against her for stability.

"S-She... Said to come find... you... y-you can... help..." He sagged heavily onto her as he lost consciousness. struggling to not fall from the sudden weight she slid him to the ground and used her dagger to tear open the fabric over his wound. Scarlett cringed at the site, there was nothing she could do to help this man, he had lost to much blood.

"Rest in peace, you have done well soldier." She whispered and covered the wound. standing up she bowed her head and let her long strawberry blonde hair fall into her face making the dying man invisible to her. Quietly stepping around she made her way over to the main area of camp, hoping to run into a commander of sorts so she could assist in any way she could. That is whats she's here for anyways, if she cannot be fighting she will be helping in any and all ways possible.
