Name: Carlos Oliver "El Diablo" Pereira
Age: 33
Height: 6'
Weight: 170 lbs
Appearance: Fighting Style:
- Kickboxing - Part of his in-ring image, although outside of the ring Carlos is a very, very adept kickboxer, having won several tournaments in the martial art.
- Capoeira - Also part of his in-ring image, although less practiced than his kickboxing history. The smooth flow of his capoeira kicks blends almost seamlessly with his punches and grapples.
- Wrestling - Basically his in-ring and out-of-ring image, Carlos is a big wrestler. Triangle chokes, the hurricarana, the cross armbar and other high-profile, acrobatic grapples and submission holds are his speciality.
Other Skills:
- Driving - Oh yeah he has a license. Go him.
- Acrobatics - He can leap and flip and backflip and stuff. Pretty cool.
Personality: Carlos is a jovial, happy-go-lucky fella, keen on helping others and entertainment for the masses. He likes keeping others happy, even if he has to hurt himself to do so, which makes him more like a class clown than anything else. He's also very loyal to his friends, and if any of them need help he's more than likely to swing in to help.
That said, he does have soft spots. He cares for those that are less fortunate than he, and provoking or harassing them will only serve to fuel his rage.
Bio: Carlos is from out of town, seeking glory and fame in the city's wrestling scene. Having already made a name for himself in his home country's
lucha libre scene, Carlos had the notion that El Diablo would do well here. Of course, it did go well, and his wrestling career shot skywards as he entertained the masses playing either punching bag for bigger guys, or beating up the bigger guys for a roaring crowd.
Eventually though, with the city's downward spiral into violence, he and many other wrestlers were put out of jobs when actual violence on the streets drew more crowds, publicity and viewers than their orchestrated and choreographed violence in the ring. Angry with how he was being treated, along with his newfound inability to provide for his family back in his home country, he has taken to the Streets of Rage to reclaim his "title", so to speak, from the cruel master himself: Mr X.
Sorry it took so long.
