Unique Wrestling rp(rp thread is up for sign up)

I am looking at making a wrestling rp with a unique layout.

Best way to describe it is a Wrestling rp with out of character rp. I know it makes little to no sense putting it like that so here is where I make sense of it.

My character is name Poetic Death, he is a near 16 year veteran of professional wrestling, he runs the largest independent wrestling promotion in the world and one of the greatest wrestling schools. The rp will center around his business ventures mostly, teaching future wrestlers the ins and outs of the business, passing on knowledge, booking matches, contract negotiations, in ring styles, character creations and developments and many other aspects of it.

I intend on running 1 show a week to give the roleplayers a chance to get in character.

Looking for at least 10 to 12 roleplayers to join ranging from fresh meat to veterans, I would rather have more fresh meat and green wrestlers which means 2 years of wrestling or less, established wrestlers are up to 5 years of experience and anything above that would be veteran. I am looking at about 50% green, 25% established and 25% veteran for the wrestlers.

So this is a wrestling to where wrestling is accepted as 'fake' and the characters can have in ring gimmicks and a normal out ofkayfavbe character? I'm interested. I actually have some wrestling experience myself (just at a training school, never made it to shows)

Yeah, well I know a good deal about the theory behind putting together a match and such. I'll freely admit I was never the best when I was training but I do have some knowledge that could be useful.

I was planning on becoming a wrestler but I gave it up because I saw friends go in with no problems then retire after 6 years because of back and knee injuries. I already have a bad back so I couldn't in good conscience start training and actually become a wrestler so I stuck with efedding. Gives me a chance to create storylines and write matches without crippling myself.

Yeah, makes sense. I certainly wouldn't be trying to wrestle if I had back problems. I'd like to get back to training but I need my monetary situation to improve first.Aanyways, I'm going to play a clockwork orange inspired gimmick and I'm calling dibs on a pop up codebreaker and the crpssface chickenwing as finishers. I'm from England and its pretty late so I'll do my application tomorrow.

I won't have to call dibs on my finishers lol if anybody does the same finishers as me it will either be the biggest coincidence or they are intentionally copying me and know me from old days.

Alright well that's fair enough, haha. Although, just a suggestion, is it not better to have 2 finishers with seperate uses? You know, like one big slam move and one submission or diving or turnbuckle move? It's your decision of course, just my two cents.

the first one is actually just one. Pick the guy up and power them up like I am going for a firemans carry slam but hold them up and finish with the jackhammer. I have submissions in my signatures that occasionally get busted out for finishing matches with.
