[IC] Orphanage. for the Animals

Skylar looked at Miles and pulled her ears back, remembering that comment he made. "So, do you not trust us? I have been here for years, and I never ate anyone.." She murmured softly to Miles, before turning away as her amulet glowed deep blue in confusion and a sad.

The fox quickly skittered over to Skylar who looked sad and from the looks of her amulet probably confused.

"It was never that I didn't trust you or anyone else larger than me I am just afraid of bigger folk and it's just a habit, I am trying to break it though and I always am cautious of things but now I understand you both I am just scared because you are bigger and have more dominance over smaller people like me!"

Miles looked up at Skylar with a sincere expression and his eyes showed that he was just timid and cautious.

"You don't to be around me. I have always protected the younger and smaller animals around me." She stated, the large winter wolf pup barked. Her diamond blue eyes looked at Miles, and back at the orphanage.

Miles was grateful for Skylar and respected that a larger animal loves to protect the weak and less fortunate smaller animals.

"Well that's nice to know now that is settled I am glad I can try to put my fears to the side!"

He padded along with them.

Skylar chuckled. "But the panther is right. If you want to talk about someone like that, at least do it somewhere where they cant hear you." She giggled, nudging the fox with her winter white paw playfully.

Miles nodded remembering what the panther had said and he chuckled sourly because he really didn't like what he had said, reacting to the nudge he ran zig zagging through Skylar's legs playfully skittering quickly between legs making it hard to keep track of him.

"Hey!" She giggled, pelting back. "The orphanage is this way!" She giggled, chasing the fox.

He laughed and slowed down behind Skylar and began to softly bat at her tail like a cat would do with a toy, he smiled he liked his new friends.

Skylar looked at him and giggled. "Roar!" She playfully roared.

He took a deep breath made a roar as a joke because he was smaller and it would be funny and it was, he puffed his chest up and cleared his throat then as loud as he could and made it sound like his usual bark not a fake one so he made it sound rumbly.

"ROAR!"

"Eek!" Skylar pretended to be scared and dashed into the Orphanage.

Miles followed with a bounce in his steps, he was excited for more fun and he was taking a liking to his new friends.

Rain scurried in after them. Her new friends sure had a lot of energy. She snuck up behind Skylar and raised her chubby little arms "Grrrr!" and wrapped herself around one of her back paws. She raised one of her tiny hands and pretended to bat at Miles and giggled.

"Oh no! Im being attacked! I surrender!" She pretended to yelp, falling flat on her back and sticking her tongue out.

Roxy shook her head. Crazy kids. She couldnt Remeber bong that carefree ever. Maybe it was only something that smaller animals could do. She looked around as she entered the orphanage. She was hoping to see and adult or authorative figure. At least then she would know she was in the right place.

"Come on! Have some fun here! Its not some serious place where we have no fun!" She giggled at Roxy. Skylar's amulet glowed bright blue in happiness.

The owner heard the noises and walked over from her room. "Welcome to the Orphanage." She said. The owner was a Lion, also the guardian, her name was Breeze.

"Hey, Breeze!" Skylar said, looking at the owner.

A small blue shiny bird flew in and landed on Roxy's head. The bird looked down. "Ugh, new people." She scoffed.

"That's Mira." Skylar said, pointing at the bird. The bird had beautiful shiny feathers, and winter white eyes.

Looking at Mira with sly eyes Miles said cockily to the bird.

"My what nice feathers you have!"

Obviously joking because he had known the bird for a while now and he knew Breeze who was quite intimidating because of her tall and strong build.

Roxy ignored the bird on her head. The bird was either stupid or she had a death wish. Either way she didn't want to deal with the bird. "So do we just sleep anywhere or what?"

Breeze pointed her paw to the stairs. "Big animals like you and Skylar sleep upstairs, an the younger/smaller animals sleep downstairs." She said.

"Why is this rock talking?" Mira asked, peeking at what she thought was a rock, but was actually Roxy's head.

"Mira, that's Roxy. She's a black panther. I think you may want to stop before she decides to eat you." Skylar said, looking at Mira.

Miles nodded at the lion and followed her directions.
