The Soul

Raymond is of slightly above average height standing at 6" solid no more and no less. He fairly muscular with a well built stature. 190 pounds when he is stripped down to his basics, he certainty fills out his clothes at least and not in a bad way. A strong square set jaw and without the beard it is all strong lines going down. His nose is crooked tilting slightly to the right the results of an angry fist when he was still a lad. His Right ear is missing part of the lobe almost like it was bitten off. His eyes are two different colors one a cool brown and the other a dull metallic grey with hints of glowing yellow, a cybernetic implant.

Raymond's been around the world more then once over and has seen a lot of terrible things in his time and had to write news report about it. From the insurrections in North America, to the wars in Asia and the Middle East and Genocides in Africa. Nothing much phases him at this point with a harden resolve developed over the years.
The Gentleman's Way:
Raymond knows how to throw a punch, a fairly successful bare knuckle boxer in his earlier years, he knows how to throw a punch and take one for that matter.

Raymond is quick with his words and will not refrain from using his own particular brand of dry wit.

He has become very close to hard liquor in his time from whiskey, vodka, absinth and everything else under the sun. Some would argue that at the least that he was a high functioning alcoholic but he insists that he could stop at any time.
Honor Before Reason:
As the man's man that he is Raymond can't step down helping somebody that needs it, nor punching a fellow that deserves it. This fact has gotten him in many a fight over the years and usually ends fairly badly for him.
Feel The Rush: He isn't really the type of man that can sit down and be content with his life. His career and most of his life choices have been driven by a need for him to feel that next hit of adrenaline. He is never happy, he is always moving.

EYE-SEE Retinal Implant: An optical membrane implant and data-frame for vision augmentations, this device is a microthin base coating layered onto the inside of the human eye, with a synthetic neural tissue spike connected to the optic nerve; it is capable of projecting digital information directly on to the retina.

The Mind

History:
Mister Lamb was born in a small village outside of Kilwinning where nothing ever happened. His father was a police officer and decorated war hero and his mother was a school teacher. Life was hard growing up mostly do to the account of his father, his father was the town hero, he grew up there was the captain of the Rugby team at his school and was loved by everybody everybody would call John Lamb a saint. That's why the never expected anything to be happening at home and they wouldn't belie it if they told him. He was a very strict man who had very strict rules that his wife and son had to follow, these rules were strange and would change almost constantly just so that they could break them and give him an excuse to hit them. He was smart though for an arse and would cover a piece of piping in a towel with padding so that the bruises wouldn't show. One day his mother tried to take Raymond and herself away but John caught them, beat both of them the hardest they ever had and threatened that next time he would kill them and that he would get away with it. The sad thing was that he was probably right.

Due to these circumstances growing up Raymond spent as little time as possible at home. He would either spend his days wandering the village with his mates or at school. He was a fairly intelligent student and helped work on the Schools newspaper once he was older. But he was also prone to getting into fights lashing out against bigger boys, because he had enough of it all. Because of this he ended up getting quite the name for himself as a pugilist and bad bloke that everybody at school should stay away from. Well at least the respectable folks, he ended up befriending the hooligans, the bad seeds who thought that he was pretty real with the way that he took nobodies shit. They participated in the normal actives underage drinking and smoking, vandalism, shoplifting and the like and that was what he knew for a while, chasing after that next high to dull the pain. But he knew he was different from his friends, he wasn't content with this little life, he wanted to see the world. And so he hunkered down and took his schooling seriously again to get to Uni. He ended up at Trinity College, Dublin where he studied journalism and philosophy.

Raymond found a job as an independent correspondent heading into the hell holes of the world and selling his stories to the highest bidder. Finding a steady job would eventually be what lead him to the City. The Eye, the City's largest newspaper hired him on full time and financed his adventures around the world chasing the depravity of humanity for that next big scope. And this would become his life spending most of his time out in the world and his few moments of piece among the scum and death of towering buildings that he called home. He is currently at home in one of those lull periods killing time by hoping bar to bar trying to find a meaning for it all, plagued with bordem.

Personality:
Raymond is your stereotypical man's man with man values and man feelings. He is blunt with a dry sense of humor not the type to waste many words. Not the type that cares much about anyone's private life especially his own. Neither a eunuch or an incubus he may seduce a Queen but not spoil an innocent. He is not emotionally tarnished, nor afraid of the darkness ahead of him, grounded in his reality and common amongst the mass yet with a spark of individuality about him. He is a man of honor be it intrinsically, instinctively or inevitably, without thought of this honor and without ever mentioning it. He is a man with a strong sense of pride and will make sure you treat him as a proud man. He is a lonely man caught on the edge of boredom and stuck in a state of ever present unrest.
Motivation:
The adrenaline rush mostly, anything to get his mind of the own emptiness and discontent feeling he has within himself.

Kaleb Erickson

The Soul

Kaleb stands above average at 6'5" weighing in at 207 lbs. His attire consists of smart and adequate clothing that helps him blend in with crowds of upper class men and women. His dark brown hair is often in a generic ruffled style, and he never goes anywhere without his worn leather harness, sporting a few rusted golden and silver buckles. He has a quite intricate armband, consisting of three separate leather straps fastened by silver buckles. Cut into the straps is a fine cog work design, as well as having a golden cog on each strap.

As he was raised by a notorious gang of pickpockets as a boy, Kaleb can slip in and out of pockets undetected. He has been thwarted in the past by dud wallets, or even wallets attached to pockets by strings, but has found out different tactics and ways to approach someone to prevent that in the future.

Rumour Magnet

Being part of a large network of thieves, pickpockets and all types of criminals, Kaleb has access to information leaked by eavesdroppers and members of the public, should he feel like eavesdropping himself. This can be used to threaten people with information gathered and get easy access into buildings and steal their valuables.
Flaws:
Complacence

Kaleb tends to get complacent on the job now, being an experienced pickpocket at the ripe age of 32. This has, in the past, led to him being caught and arrested, and even being mobbed up on by a bunch of pickpockets from the other side of town.

Colour Blindness

Kaleb was born colour blind, so it made life hard for him, especially when he took up pickpocketing. However, he managed to flog enough of his stolen goods to buy a special sight enhancer that allows him to see the world like everyone else does.

Tormenting Past

As a child, Kaleb was abused by his mother, and abandoned, alone and weak, at the age of 12, before the pickpockets came and took him in. This tormenting past has only been shared with the people closest to him, but some other people managed to get their hands on the story and used it to torture him.
Inventory: Kaleb carries with him a small knife, with a blade of about 4.5 inches long. It has a wooden handle with an intricate, wavy pattern carved into it, as well as his initials - K.A.E - scrawled roughly on the bottom. Along with that, he carries a 7 inch flintlock pick pocketed from a Royal Guard.
Cybernetic Implants: He has a sight enhancer that allows him to see colours normally, as he was born colour blind. Although it only covers his right eye, it is also able to give him ordinary sight in his left eye, too. As well as enhancing his sight, it also acts as a magnifying glass, so he can examine the designs and patterns in the wallets and other various items he steals.

The Mind

History:

Kaleb Atticus Erickson was born in Whitby on the 22nd of October; a stormy Wednesday. His mother, Kayleigh Lyla Erickson, was a drug addict, and his father had left them when she started her addiction, thus making Kaleb the victim to her abuse. Kaleb was forced to go out and collect her drugs for her from when he was just 7 years old, and had to go down alleyways full of drunkards and junkies. He was stabbed multiple times, and even got knocked out once, with it taking an hour before Kayleigh came down and found him unconscious on the floor. He has plenty of scars to show from his trips down the alley, ones that will haunt him forever and never let him forget his childhood. Kaleb also was abused by his mother throughout his entire childhood, and at one point he almost died - his lungs nearly collapsed after Kayleigh threw him into a wall. This continued throughout his entire childhood until he was abandoned at 12.

When he was abandoned, he was found asleep on the path by a gang of pickpockets making their way through Whitby whilst pocketing goods. They saw the boy as an opportunity - children were deemed innocent, and smaller hands meant they could get goods that were deep inside pockets whilst still being undetected. So, they took Kaleb in and raised him as one of their own. By the age of 15, he could easily get his hand in and out of people's pockets, and even subtly lift up overcoats to get to the inner pockets. He was going to be great.

At age 17, Kaleb was better than any pickpocket at age 21, and so he was recruited amongst the best pickpockets and thieves to infiltrate Buckingham Palace. It was a long journey down there, and Kaleb was so tired that he had to stay behind in the carriage for a while before being able to go further. He eventually came round, and distracted a couple of guards, before running inside after the others. They scolded him for not following them right away, but he showed them what he'd gotten of a couple of them, and their eyes lit up. Everyone looked up to Kaleb for his skill and sleight of hand, no matter how much he was despised by the overseas gangs. They raided the palace, and managed to steal the Royal Crown. One of the pickpockets - Jacob - tried to steal the Crown Jewels, but he was caught and beheaded. They mourned him, but also pitied him for his stupidity. It was one of the greatest raids in history, though, despite their loss.

Kaleb continued to steal and steal, selling item after item until he finally racked up enough money for a special eyepiece that could change his sight as he knew it. It took him five years to rack up enough money - £560. His first time putting on the eyepiece was just strange and amazing. He could see in colour for the first time, and for the first time, he felt hope. From then on, he continued his profession, with dreams of becoming the most infamous pickpocket of all time.
Personality: Kaleb is quite caring and wise, but also reckless when people insult him or the people he loves. He's grateful towards his "mentor", Samuel, as he is like a father to him, and without him Kaleb would've been dead. He is quite cautious around people of the law, and doesn't trust any strangers that try to interact with him.
Motivation: His motives are simple - he was raised to pickpocket, so he does so. He also wants to make sure that he can make a living, and due to his criminal record being so high, his only available job is pickpocketing and thieving.
Character Goals: To become the most infamous and skilled pickpocket known to man.

Woman stands confidently at 5 feet 8 inches tall with weight no fine lady wouldn't tell (158 pounds). Black hair, light brown skin and fit body, but one can see her hands shaking. And for reasons or another her eyes are white and like those of a puppet behind her visor that she holds on constantly. Her attires are modest, decent quality suits.

Due to nature of her jobs she has acquired some connections in various circles inside and outside of the law. Though it's hard to find those who would be friendly towards her...

Flaws:
Hallucinations
Due to a poisoning she succumbed to fair brain damage. Her subconscious does bring around additional people to talk with or some bizarre visions around her.

Sight
Due to a poisoning her eyesight was damaged. Without her visor the eyesight is poor and even with visor she cannot see everything. Colors are slight mess and shapes aren't accurate in distance.

Inventory:
Suitcase that holds D-Pad for communication, network and information, and case files in paper. She has a .32 Automatic Pistol Sig Sauer just in case things get rough, though it's only with her while doing footwork.

Cybernetic Implants:
Visor: Years ago put on her forehead. Visor processes the images in front of her and uses combination of low-powered lasers to give her a visualization into eyes. Though it gives her sort of night vision, the resolution is not special, she cannot see too far away and some colors are a mess.

The Mind

History:
Born in columbia to a decent family with a sister and two brothers. The family had a good income due to father being a Commissioner in Police Force and mother being a doctor. The childhood was spent in better and safer districts of the city filled with drug cartels, and the school was above average in quality, so the children did fine in school.

Maria passed high school with fine grades and applied to the University in Miami, for the Central America was too full of corruption to read Law and become a honest to good Attorney in Law. During the six years of studies despite the financial support from her family she searched part time jobs for herself in security, librarian and as a door-to-door sales woman, and in his two final years she got a part in Brothers Colbert agency as a trainee.

After getting her license to practice law officially, she continued with the Brothers Colbert agency for three years before moving to the City at the age of 29. With the recommendations from Brothers Colbert she started her prosecuting career. Her methods were effective to a degree, working by foot to ask questions before sending police to collect more evidence for her cases.

Three years to her prosecuting career she found herself with a bigger one. Corruption scandal within a Foundation. But as she was gaining more and more evidence, a certain interview in a coffee shop proved to be almost fatal. Her coffee cup was poisoned with a neural toxin putting Maria into year of Coma. With strong medication she was waken up to find her sight being a mess, body crippled and mind hallucinating. Next two years were spend to get her body back in shape and gaining information up to date with herself to be able to continue as a prosecutor. Before long she had a weekly routine of keeping herself fit and her neural work in shape.

Life after that? Back to prosecuting. The Foundation had gone underground after another prosecutor continuing the case unsuccessfully, but the City has a lot of trouble with new cases coming up weekly. And Maria has continued with cases, calmly and and slowly gaining name among the law enforcement.

Personality: Maria Díaz has become less energetic and humorous after the poisoning and instead her puppet-eyes are filled with determination. Laconic or sarcastic at times, when it comes to her job she's a professional. At leisure time she does check for any news about the foundation or make a walk around a city. She lives by routines; Every morning she spends an hour to swim, days at work, evenings at gathering evidence, weekends to meet some of her few friends. She has a crack for chocolate.
Motivation: Criminals that are out there. Big fishes, small fries, some should have it coming. Some on the other hand deserve less. But they all must be weighted in front of the Goddess of Law
Character Goals: Find criminals. Find evidence to put them behind bars... Or with an ultimate penalty.

Isaac Oakenhowe

The Soul

Isaac is rather tall for his age, standing about 5'10''. His hair, often cut short, has long lost its color and is slowly going towards a lighter shade of grey. He is a thin man, about 165 pounds, and has a slight lean to the right when he stands upright. There's a somewhat noticeable contrast between the left side and the right side of his face, with the right side being much less wrinkly and overall cleaner, compared to the left. He walks with a limp, and when laid bare, one can see various augmentations on his torso. His right arm is an implant, with subdermal attachment points going as far as his left clavicle, and he tries to cover said arm up with long sleeves. His left leg is a prosthesis.

Isaac has served the CIA for over 30 years, picking up traits that make him a man not to be messed with. He knows all the dirty tricks of the intelligence business, and enjoys using the relatively harmless ones in his spare time for mundane things, such as keeping tabs on his neighbors and spoiling family secrets as an anonymous source.
Iron Man:
Isaac’s body is heavily augmented, allowing him to keep up with (and in some cases, overpower) others of younger age and better physique despite his advanced age.
Planner:
Isaac’s experiences in life, be it simple tasks or complicated endeavors, has led him to analyze the situation he is in and turn the tables in his favor before starting work, no matter what it is. He is quite proficient at this, perhaps thanks to enjoying the feeling of control it gives him.

Flaws:

Recluse:
Isaac is absolutely disgusted by ‘what humanity has become’. He abhors the ‘new society’, and tries to minimize social contact as much as possible, rarely leaving his home.
Cripple:
Without his implants, Isaac is nothing more than a double amputee with one lung. While much more capable than your average double amputee 60 year old, that does not change the fact that he’s still an old double amputee who can’t even breathe easy without his prosthetics.
Scrooge:
Isaac is grumpy. He prefers to do things as slow as possible, and is quite patronizing, sometimes even rude, to younger people. He’s adamant in doing things his own way, and does not enjoy it when someone makes suggestions, or pokes into his business.

Inventory: Notepad, phone, flashlight, Swiss Army Knife, pocket pistol.

Cybernetic Implants:

GE-IV Artificial Lung: One of Isaac’s lungs is out of commission, thanks to getting his ribs shattered and causing the fragments to deflate it. Hence, he has an artificial lung that seems to provide an even better service than what his old, natural one did.

GE-XII ‘Cuirass’ Thoracic Replacer: Isaac, having lost most of his ribs, was attached with a synthetic replacement ribcage, which is said to have about four times the strength of a regular ribcage, coming with sub-dermal ‘plates’ to absorb trauma. Isaac is not very happy with this system, but admires its effectiveness.

Lockheed Martin ‘Hercules’ Synthetic Arm: Isaac, having lost his right arm, has been implanted with a synthetic arm made of some ‘wonder material’ that can emulate muscle movement. Not much stronger than a regular arm as to not cause dislocation problems and injury, it’s still quite hard, and has essentially made said limb double jointed.

GE-I Synthetic Skin: Isaac has been grafted with replacement skin on most parts of the right side of his body, thanks to irrecoverable shrapnel and burn trauma. While not noticeable on a passing glance, if given attention one can make out the differences, such as a lack of liver spots and other complexion.

GE-II Tissue Replacer: Isaac’s injuries were too large to spare his other organs. To fix damage that could not be fixed by surgery, tears in his organs were filled with this synthetic tissue replacer that mimics the rest of the organ it is attached to, effectively filling the gap.

Argus Technologies ReRun Prosthetic Leg: More prosthesis than implant, this polymer leg, attached underneath his left knee, allows Isaac to walk and run normally, although it cannot mimic more complicated foot movements.

The Mind

History: Isaac Oakenhowe was born about six decades ago, to an accomplished family as the first and only child. Isaac did not suffer from any trauma or horrifying event as a child, and had a rather pleasant family life. The family’s wealth, mostly thanks to his father’s ventures in real estate, granted him opportunities to achieve what he wanted and go for what he wished. But Isaac’s parents were smart people, and had taught him well. He appreciated what his parents provided for him, but also strived to make his own legacy. With this goal in mind, Isaac went on to be a hardworking student, and with good grades, graduated from high school. After studying Islamic Studies and International Relations at an accredited university and earning a bachelor’s degree in both, he joined the Military for two tours of duty after graduation, and served, without much action, in the Middle East, acting as interpreter thanks to his language skills.

After his tour of duty was over, Isaac decided to go for a good job, and applied to the CIA’s National Clandestine Service, seeking some thrill in life. He managed to get the job, and went through a training program to become more proficient in his line of work. Noted for his analytical skills and knowledge of context in the areas of interest, he started field work at the age of 30. Arming insurgencies, starting riots and the like all around the globe, Isaac was absolutely absorbed in his job, and until the unexpected occurrence that came during a regular day of work overseeing some random terrorist organization, he was not able to realize he had spent a decade creating death.

Thanks to a heated argument with the head of a rebel organization, and refusal of said head’s request for more armament, Isaac and his acquaintances were attacked by a large amount of rebels sent as retaliation somewhere near the Angolan border. Fighting off most of the militiamen but getting overrun, Isaac had to call for emergency backup. However, seconds later, he got a machete lodged in his right arm by a Cocaine-fueled militiaman and accidentally pulled the pins on the grenades attached to the man’s vest while trying to get the man off him, causing them to explode. Isaac was found as some macabre mix of man, chili, and tree bark by the backup crew, miraculously still alive.

After a long period of surgery and treatments that went as a blur, Isaac regained his senses on a hospital bed, with a funny feeling on the right side of his body. He’d learn soon that a good portion of his body was practically lost when he was recovered, and that he had been attached with (then) state of the art implants to keep him alive. Being informed that the implantations were classified by then, and that for him to continue civilian life he’d have to get them removed until they were declassified, which would mean he’d be a vegetative at best, he was ‘coerced’ to keep on working. Unenthusiastically carrying on his duty as an Augmented Security Detail (or as he called it, Black Ops Robocop) throughout the globe, he was eventually able get discharged from the job when the technology used on him was declassified and made public as cybernetic implant technology progressed.

Free at last, Isaac was now able to go over the years he had spent causing havoc in the name of his government and country. He was able to comprehend all too well that what he did was not even for his country, it was solely for his personal gain. And what was left? What was his legacy? He had lost his body in pursuit of nothing but money. There was no just cause in what he did, or any good outcome. Over the course of years, he had left behind nothing. There was nobody to remember him. There was nobody to care about him. There was nobody to love him. The world outside was alien and disgusting, yet there was nothing inside him. He decided to restart, and go for things he enjoyed instead. He’s been reading ever since, ignoring the world outside.

Personality: Isaac is a melancholic and lonely person. This is not to say that he is a distant person, however – he is merely fatalistic and believes that his time is past, and that he’s done nothing that matters. To him, his new parts are a constant reminder of his years spent doing what he now considers to be worthless – just like how he’s sacrificed years that could’ve been spent living for years of battle work, his body has also let go of living tissue for cold, metallic, inhuman parts. He feels out of place in society, finding the society he lives in as despicable and pitiful, seeing it like a leper in his death throes. He despises the products of it, and thus, is often adamant and dismissive of people who seem to indulge in it. The single primary emotion he has, however, is regret. He regrets his decisions, and knowing that he cannot rewind, fights this overwhelming emotion by trying to forget.

Motivation: It would be wrong to say that Isaac is motivated at all. While he can be obsessive and persistent, this has got to do more with his adamant personality. While he wouldn’t want to admit it, without his job, he’s face to face with a much bigger problem than doing something he didn’t like – he doesn’t know what he likes, or what to follow.

Character Goals: Isaac would be happy to find companionship in this later stage of his life, having forgotten the importance of friends and love in the past. More importantly, he seeks peace of mind, believing that a mind at peace is superior to anything else in this world. However, he does not expect to find any of these, especially not in the society he lives in, and thus, he’s more of a drifter.
