Satoshi's weapon of choice is 1ft long throwing knives made of mirror glass. Not only do they inflict damage but he can use them to get a better view of the situation. He could even use two as a sort of walky-talky between himself and Lilith. He also rather enjoys the fact they can be well concealed and he can bring them anywhere without causing suspicion.

Abilities:
Mirror walk- With this ability Satoshi can walk into a mirror, and roam around the other side of mirrors. He could even walk to other people's mirrors. This ability can be very useful for gathering information, but it can be easy to get lost. Also he cannot leave through any random mirror, only the mirror in which he entered may he leave. In a case in which the mirror is broken, he automatically gets pulled out of a random mirror in a 100 foot radius.

Mirror on the wall- During times of internal conflict, wouldn't it be nice to literally talk to another you? Well mirror on the wall is the ability to look upon your own reflection and have a conversation with it. This is useful for making decisions, or simply talking to someone you can actually stand for any amount of time. Noted, it is only a reflection so it won't know anything he doesn't know.

Reflection- Satoshi at times can mirror his opponents movments perfectly, which in fact can not only catch them off guard but seriously help offensively. He can do so for about 2 minutes at a time.

Shatter- A fairly convenient ability allowing Satoshi to induce amnesia. The catch is not only does he need to have eye contact but he needs to be touching them. It also only lasts for about an hour, but is useful for getting away if he is found out.

Biography: Satoshi was a college student, living day by day with no particular goals in mind. Certainly he was breathing, but he would not call it living. He simply existed. Satoshi was an English major, finding whatever little meaning he had in life through books.
The day it happened, he was walking home from the library. It was about 9 pm and he was reading while on his way. He paid no attention to those who passed him or the signs. All he cared about was having enough light to finish the last few pages. As he read the last sentence "What will you do now?" Satoshi looked up to realize he was on a bridge. The water churned beneath him and he wondered how it would feel. So he simply put the book down...and jumped.
The instant he hit the water the air was knocked from his lungs. The water pushed and pulled him, dragging him below the surface and mulling his senses. He couldn't fight it. Satoshi eventually washed up onto the shore face down. He was almost gone. "lets have some fun shall we?" And his life changed forever as she took what little he had left.

Mirror on the wall- She can converse with the mirror, but she can not see her own flesh reflected in it.

Reflection: Lilith can accomplish almost the same as Satoshi. She can Mirror other's movements which not only confuse them, but can be pretty useful. She can do so perfectly for only about 30 seconds at a time.

Biography:
Stagnation. That would be the perfect word to describe Lilith's last few decades. Eventually accepting she would not simply fade away, she needed to find something to do. In her search she had found demons were contracting with humans more than ever. "Hmmm interesting." A human would be the perfect new play thing. -time skip-

Finally, the perfect human. Any human that would jump off a bridge to their death on a whim was alright by Lilith. "Silly human, you aren't a fish." She watched him as he rolled in the water until he reached the shore. "Let's have some fun shall we?" And he was her's.

Extra: In battle, if she is hit her flesh will crack like a glass doll.

I won't be able to have a good read of character sheets til I get home from work tonight. I'll be able to accept people then as it's easier for me to make judgement calls when reading off a pc.

@RoecoonSomething I noticed while skimming through was Satoshi's reflection ability. It has a control element of other players. That might be something that may have to change as you are controlling another players character against their will.

Ill have a read of the rest of your cs later, but that's something to note for the time being. :)

Yup that's fine. Maybe add a time difference so Satoshi can use it for a few minutes where as Lilith can only use it for like 30 seconds. Something like that.

For mirror walk, as a precaution add that if his original mirror is broken he's instantly pulled out of that realm in the closest mirror or perhaps a random one, even if it's a dangerous area. Just had a what if thought. :)

After that, throw it up in the character section.

@GeliophobHyena Just take out that Father of illness line in the bio (you'll see why eventually), change it to daemon because he's gonna repay the eventual debt (if at all possible, mwahahaha)

Do those things and it'll be accepted. :)

Just a note, once those two characters are added I might start up the ic tonight. We have about 5 players now so it'll be a good number to kick things off.

I also have a basis for a story but nothing too concrete, so I'll be relying on you guys to unlock the abilities that the elite WDD guys have and help set this RP in motion.

It's a bit of a long post, but first post usually are in order to set the story and theme... so don't feel that you have to post that much! My posts are usually a third to half that length.

Feel free to introduce your characters however you want. The fighting action can start pretty much whenever you feel like entering the fray. I'll also be introducing the other members of the Elites to your characters as we move on, but without knowing what they will be up to, I'll have to leave it til after you all make a few posts.

Btw, @GeliophobHyena Add your Char Sheet to the Char section when you can. :)

You could also try An npc route where someone attacks you if you want. Maybe they we're approached by the WDD before you and spotted you somewhere.

Human Contractee

Name: Caitlyn Quintaine

Appearance:

Obviously without the fire and stuff, however she does have the long blond hair where she lost the pigment at the bottom.

Abilities:
All of Caitlyn's abilities have to do with internal aspects of her body all relating to the sense; Touch.
Proprioception
After making a contract with her demon one of the abilities she acquired was to grow ans strengthen her bones. Caitlyn can make her bones harder to prevent them from shattering, but this cannot interfere with the muscles in her body so she only is able to do it to a short extent. She is able to repair fractures to some degree as well, but even then it needs time to heal.

Nociception
Nociception, which translated into pain, is the ability that she can grow bones out of her body, break them off, and use them as weapons. The downside of this is that it pains her to call forth the bones from her body, and it isn't done in an instant. She most often summons a dual pair of large bone daggers and uses those in combat.

Thermoception
The last part of the touch sense is Thermoception, which translates into temperature. Caitlyn can control the temperature inside of her body which can be used in situations to keep her body cool on a hot day, or warm during a snowstorm. But there also is the offensive side of the ability. Caitlyn can heat up her hands to a very high temperature of which a normal human hand would immediately melt from. She can use it to bend and melt whatever she wants. She can also cool down her hands to such a low temperature that icicles and crystals will form around her hands. She forms them in such way that they appear as razor sharp claws. In both cases she can't use the ability for too long as it will then continue to spread and take over the body which result in her either turning to ash of turning into an ice-cube.

Biography:
For Caitlyn life never had been very fortunate, at very young age she lost pigment in the lower part of her haircut duo to reasons doctor cannot explain. She could cut it off, but that would only cause the pigment to lose for 35% of her shorter haircut, thus Caitlyn decided to keep her hair as long as possible. She treasured her hair but people around her only saw her as weird. Caitlyn never fit into any group and spend most time alone studying, and always left for home the minute school finished. She was beautiful, strange, mysterious and weird... someone who didn't fit in, a target for bullying, manipulation and molesting.

One day after school she took her normal route towards her house, which was on walking distance. She always took a shortcut through an alley to be home earlier, but one day three guys from her school were waiting for her there. She was cornered in the alley and had nowhere to go. The leader of the bunch wanted her to strip so he, and the others, could have their way with her. Caitlyn refused but the boys already began to touch her. Caitlyn got furious and punched the leader in his face, who in response got furious. He grabbed a lead pipe and attacked her with it. He kept slamming down on her repeatedly until almost all the bones in her body were broken. The boys made their escape after they saw what they had done. Caitlyn laid there on the ground till the sun went down, nobody had come to look for her. Caitlyn closed her eyes, giving up. When suddenly: "Ow, how I pity you. This isn't a way for a life to end... let's make a deal shall we?" Caitlyn felt a gentle touch on her body and her bones restoring but passed out during the process, the last thing she heard was "The deal has been made."

Abilities:
Proprioception
Unlike Caitlyn, Nostradamus doesn't have the ability to strengthen his bones anymore. He however is able to heal fractures of himself and others with ease, and also does this on a rather high speed. Not much healing time is needed afterwards as well.

Nociception
Nostradamus is able to extend and pull out multiple bones (unlike Caitlyn who only is able to pull them out her amrs), one if them being his spine. He uses it as a long whip with a sharp tip at the end. The other bones he frequently pulls out are his ribs which he uses as throwing knives. Unlike Caitlyn it doesn't take any time at all to grab his weapon, nor does it pain him in any way. In exchange for keeping his bone-related abilities he had to give up the Thermoception ability and give it completely to Caitlyn.

Biography:
Nostradamus, often called Nostra by others, was a lonesome demon in the Underworld, yet a very powerful one. He spend most of his days roaming around, ripping out the bones and organs of the damned in the Underworld for his own pleasure. He was quite the artist as he made sculptures out of the bones. However the dull and gray Underworld was very boring to him and he wanted to go to the mortal world, and experience the true beauty of humans before they were written off and thrown into the trashcan called the Underworld.

In the mortal world he hoped to become a more refined man, an appearance that would be more fitting to his personality. A witty, creative and certainly sadistic handsome man. His demon form may have looked awesome to others, but he thought it didn't reflect who he really was. Luckily for him he encountered a girl in need of saving and coincidentally he had the perfect ability to patch her up. A contract was never so easy.

I was wondering, since our characters have sold their souls to demons does that mean they are no longer human?. If so I was wondering if our characters would become sensitive to other mythical phonomina, for example if our characters pass on the street they would know that they both are either A) souless or B) they they have been in contact with a demon.

I thought this up while thinking on how we could have player interation besides something like this demon knows that demon etc etc.

@GeliophobHyena know what you're saying. Having "are you a demon, are YOU a demon?" Scenarios can be a bit stupid.

I'm happy for us to discuss this if people have an idea or interpretation that might work. Could be something like smell, or sight, or an internal feeling. I think it would work better if we avoided the "I sense someone nearby" scenario with something a bit more concrete.

Gotta read the ICs in a moment. Ill see if there's any ways I can help those having a bit of difficulty. Once it's moving along a bit, it should be alright. :)
