[OOC] Avan's Cove: A Pirate RP

First of all, each of you has done an amazing job with these Characters honestly, they all sound really cool!

I'm not one of those GM's who need to post first to assert dominance, so you all can get a head start on meeting one another and raising hell in game before the Page shows up, (They will show up at sundown* at the Inn At the Edge of the World).

*In game, since we're in different timezones.

Keep in mind that:

• In game time is close to evening so most businesses are closing their doors (e.g. Weapon-Smiths and Apothecary) while others are just getting started (e.g. Taverns and The Naughty Nymph)
• For those who will post soon, please try not to kill anyone. Fights on the other hand... Just make sure its with another player, no randomized opponents. Why make friends when you can make enemies?
• Also, I'll give you all a 30min notice before I'll post as the Page.

In the interim, think about which fate the Page should meet:

Will the Page find themselves in good company and subsequently welcomed to the world of Piracy?

Or

Will the Page be robbed of the map potentially killed in the process?

Appearance: Cassy has long dark hair worn loose and wild aside for a couple of braids. She has a lean, hard build with modest breasts and slim hips. She has a certain hard attractiveness from her mother, with sparkling green eyes and a generous mouth, but she doesn’t bother doing anything to make herself attractive, preferring to wear simple practical clothing, close fitting leggings and a loose shirt; she takes a certain pride in her tattoos and sharp blades.



Weapons: Longsword and long knife. Throwing knife at the back of her belt.

Have they ever been out to sea? “Me da were a sailor so aye, loads o' times, ever since I were a wee scrap.”
If so, how long ago? “You should a’ started askin' 'fore I started drinking… umm, three weeks ago.”
What does your character do to get cash? “Sailin’ and piratin’.”
Have they had run ins with the law? “Not personal like, no; only running before the navy in a fast ship.”

Why are they in Bastion? “Disagreement with the first mate on my last ship; he felt I should share his bunk; I disagreed, things got a tad heated and he had a wee accident. I hear he’s walkin’ straight again now.”

lol In my CS i said he was a bouncer there, so chances are he knows her. but @LokiLeo789 is writing something, with my character i would offer a three person post but thats kinda up to him.

Well my Scholar, adventurous and curious as he is, would never knowingly enter such a place- dear no, indeed not.

Of course, if he had been asking about for a good place for local news and such, some gentlemen (ahem, pirates) may have pointed out the wrong place to go [and laughed at the somewhat naive innocent scholar].

That sounds likely since they both work at the same place for a few years. I don't see why that couldn't happen.
