Estelle is Magical.
Orion is Non-Magical.

Estelle is female.

They are 18 years of age.

Born to a Magical father and Dull mother in One, the twins grew up free of prejudice that the two races seemed to reserve for the other. However, when the twins were young, just little kids, their parents were killed in a dispute between a Dull and a Magical before the government could intervene. The twins were now without anyone to take care of them. They then got separated in a crowd, Estelle being found by a Magical family passing through. They took her in and off they went to Three. Orion was found by a group of homeless people just trying to stay alive. They raise Orion, taught him everything they knew about combat and soon Orion was the best one of their group. He grew up and became a hired assassin, his twin fading from his mind though never fully forgotten. Estelle was raised by the magical family and started using her magic to help people.

Estelle weighs around 100lbs.
Orion weighs around 140lbs that is mostly muscle.

Estelle stands at around 4'8.
Orion stands at around 5'8.

His clothing is as it is in the image above except that his jacket is black and the brown stripe is silver. His pants are black as well and he wears black combat boots. The rest of his outfit remains the same. The mask is the one he wears while working a job, to hide his identity from those he is targeting.

If you do choose a steampunk character, is alright if they are focused into a given theme like bio-technology or cryogenics?

And if not, what sort of knowledges would a steampunk character have?

Finally, how serious of a story are you going for? If it's supposed to be a somber or serious tone it may be in bad taste for me to create a light-hearted/comical character.

Alright here is my character application, feel free to let me know what areas I have to change/fix in order to mesh properly with the in-game lore.

Race: 1/8 Frost Giant, 7/8 Ba'luure Dull

Gender: Female

Age: 17

History: Katrin had always been an inquisitive child; Learning why you shouldn't tie a lightning rod to one of the few trees in Ba'luure, how to put out fires and why she wasn't allowed to use meta cutlery anymore. She was a handful for her parents and grandfather but always tried to be on her best behaviour. Being a Dull like her parents Katrin had no hope or chance of becoming a practitioner of the arcane arts. So she went with the next best thing, baking! Now her recipes were psychotic, maddened, horribly HORRIBLY DANGEROUS quirky, as well as her first pie ate part of the living room sofa she was forced to perform her (science?) in the shed out back. Even with that her family were still as supportive as ever.

Now with stars in her eyes, a dream in her heart and a bag absolutely stuffed with pastries that range from bizarre to lethal Katrin has set off to explore the world! Her dream, see every corner of the world and prove that a Dull can be just as talented and special as any magic user! With the blood of the frost giants pumping through her veins she has no fear of Ba'luure's chill or the secrets contained beneath it frozen tundra.

The warmer places... those are going to be weird.

Brynhild, or D.M.M

Name: Has the name D.M.M branded on her neck, but her real name is lost to her.
Race: A somewhat magical humanoid race from an area in Ba'luure, somewhat close to The Belt.
Gender: Female
Age: 19
History/Small Description: Brynhild never really got the experience of having a home or a family for very long, as her father was a man who had made enemies in many places across Valkeir. One day, not too long after Brynhild's 4th birthday, her family was slowly and quietly picked off one by one until she was the only one left. Alone. That was when a man walked in, and offered to take care of her if she came with him. He had a warm smile, and claimed to be a very good friend of her father's. She very quickly took him up on the offer, as she didn't want to be alone any longer. Looking back, she regrets this moment dearly.
The home this man was offering was a trap, and Brynhild had fell for it quite easily in her blind trust of the man. He began experimenting on her, injecting things into her body and modifying her system. He made it quite clear to her, during his testing, that his intent was to create a perfect hybrid of Magic and Dull technology. Brynhild made several attempts at freedom, only to be stopped by a shock to the neck from an implant on her closest one. The torture only went on and on, until eventually she escaped by overpowering him when he let his guard down for too long and suffocating him with her shielding magic. After gathering some funds and random items laying about on the ground, she left that place for good, determined to put that behind her. She decided that no longer would she be referred to by her "slave" name. She then took on the name she was told was her mother's. Brynhild.

Affiliation: None, acts as a drifter for the most part.
