Name: Petos
Age: 480
Gender: Male

Personality: An angel who once was part of the Royal Guard Angels, a man with a high code of honor who would live up to his title as Royal Guard Angel. Petos once was an angel who had respect for his Lord and his fellow angels. Seen as one of the strongest angels around he tried to be a perfect example for the younger angels in training and always was kind. However during his time in Miyuki, while guarding the most northern shrine in the snowy mountains, something happened that made a 180 degree turn in his personality.

After Petos fell into despair and turned into a Fallen Angel he became a cold, collected sadistic person. He sees no future for the human world in the state as it is now and thinks a purge is the best way to cleanse this world of its unholiness. He is unfriendly, even to his demon allies, and thinks he is better than anyone else and thinks lowly of humans, calling them mongrels. He isn't to be reasoned with when he has set his eyes on something and is determined to achieve his goals.

History: As said Petos was once a high ranking member in Heaven, and possibly even the strongest angel around. For this reason he was chosen to be one of the Royal Guardians by the Lord and was tasked with guarding the leader of the Akuma Ryodan as the most secluded shrine on Miyuki. He spend many days on Earth disguised a protector of the shrine and was rumored to be a hermit by most people. He was secluded by the people of Miyuki as no one bothered to ascend the mountain to visit the shrine, but a few visits of tourist that also declined as the years passed by. The state of the shrine worsened, as Petos didn't bother to keep it's appearance up for visitors, most people assumed the shrine guardian passed away and that the shrine was left unattended.

Petos fell into despair over time and was loyal to his Lord anymore. He turned into a Fallen Angel once he had made up his mind to free the demon from his concealment. His majestic white wings were corrupted with a dark essence as did his Sacred Weapon, but did keep its properties to slay a demon. After freeing the leader of the Akuma Ryodan they traveled to the other five shrine the following night to slay the Guardian Angels and free the other members, they succeeded. Now Petos takes refuge with the Akuma Ryodan in the northern shrine secluded from the rest while planning their next steps.

Sacred Weapon:

Nocturn Scythe

Abilities: Before its corruption the scythe was a holy scythe that was special even in the Heaven. Before Petos became a Royal Guardian his task was to receive the humans that passed away on Earth and bring them to the Heavens. Unbeknownst to many there are many Reapers, with the Holy Reaper and the Grim Reaper being the most well-known for Heaven and Earth. His job was passed on to someone else when he became a Royal Guardian. It's abilities beforehand weren't known however.

Now that it is corrupted the only confirmed ability the scythe has at the moment is to still having the properties to slay the demons any time he wants. This makes it dangerous for the demons to disagree with him. More abilities will be listed once the story progresses.

Akuma Ryodan Member:
Name: Bikou (TL: Shadow)
Age: 806 years old
Gender: Female

Personality: Though her appearance seems quiet and reserved, she is quite dark and evil and she has a lot of pride. She is not afraid to speak her mind even if it insults others (She's actually happy if she does hurt others). She likes a good fight with a lot of blood. But beware, do not insult or hurt her, because if you piss her off it will be the last thing you do.

History: Before she entered the Akuma Ryodan she ran rampant in the darkest pits of the underworld, craving revenge for her torture, causing the balance of the underworld to collapse. One day, the Lord of the Underworld noticed the deteriorating balance and found the one responsible. He made this demon subjugate to him. He named her Bikou and made her his left hand (more to keep her under surveillance than anything else) . She was loyal to him and was left in charge with protecting him. One faithful day she turned on him. She had found out that her torture had ultimately been supervised and allowed by him (seeing he is the Lord of the Underworld). She decided to join the Akuma Ryodan, because they had the same objective, rebel against the Lord and take over the human world.
She was locked away under the fifth temple of Miyuki (the Shadow temple). She was one of the last to be locked away and was only defeated because she had been approached by the Lord of the Underworld, that she had once admired and sworn allegiance to. At the ceremony to prove this loyalty she had been branded with a mark. This mark allowed the Lord of the Underworld to order her one thing (after that the seal will disappear). With this he ordered her to be sealed away as the fifth seal. She felt even more betrayed and spend all the time that she was sealed away resenting the man that did this to her, the Lord, and wishing for revenge.

Abilities: Being the demon of shadows Bikou obviously can control these. She also has the strength of the moon, because this is controlled by shadow. With the lunar eclipse her powers peak. Then she can use shadow to move continents or turn the earth (lunar eclipses don't happen often). With the new moon (black moon/absence of the moon) she is stronger than usual.
She can appear and disappear as long as there is shadow. most of her powers are channeled through her scythe/staff that she always carries around (see appearance pic). (with a tap on the floor she can crack it and release the shadows within.)
She can also transform into a black cat or panther with red eyes.
She is very incompatible with fire or light.
During the day she stays hidden.

Name: Nostradamus
Age: 1013
Gender: Male
Shrine: Radiant Shrine

Personality
Notradamus is one of the older demons in the Underworld, one who has seen what happened in the Underworld and how much it declined over the years. He loathes other demons and seems everything as a drag and wants to see a new twist on things, a change in the Underworld, or the whole dimension if so. He is wise, coming forth out of his long existence, and can be quite sarcastic to his fellow demons. He prefers to stay on the background of everything and is often the one with the last word. Nostra also seems to be more refined than the others and has a taste in human arts like classic Mozart or Beethoven music, likes black thee and loves art. Although the humans themselves are not worth anything, he thinks their creations are.

History
At a young age Nostradamus traveled to Earth for the first time where he brought and spread the plague all over Earth, mostly Europe, and caused the Black Death which killed about 200 million people. Nostradamus was punished for his act and imprisoned for a long time in the Underworld by the previous Demon Lord. He was freed later, under the reign of a new Lord, one that he also despised because of his way of reigning, and was cursed to simply roam through the Underworld. He enjoys making sculptures out of bones in his free time, but finds the Underworld a bore. He eventually forms the Akuma Ryodan with Zetsubo to rebel against the Demon Lord. However during their rebellion he was caught and locked away in the fourth shrine, the Radiant Shrine, after getting caught while distracted. He now waits for the day that he will be freed, as he is certain it will happen... one day.

Abilities
As the one who brought forth the plague he contains many abilities related to poisons. He can inflict corrosion and decay on living organisms to destroy them from the inside. He is rather slow and not all that powerful in hand-on-hand combat and mainly is in the back during a battle, and sometimes even hidden, making him a sneaky combatant. He is able to sprout raven wings and fly. He also has a raven that accompanies him since the first day he visited Earth, which over time has become a demonic being itself. Nostradamus however has some offensive abilities which is to use many of the bones inside and attached to his body as weapons. Although not being a master at it, Nostra can put up quite fight with his dual bone swords, spine whip or rib throwing knifes.

Ruler of the Akuma Ryodan

Name: Zetsubou
Age: 920
Gender: Male

Personality: Zetsubou comes off as a rather immature brat if left alone. He does whatever he wants, gets whatever he wants, uncaring about his surroundings. If needed, he becomes quite the serious type. Zetsubou has a huge temper, and can throw dangerous tantrums. Though, when he rules/while he rules, he shows no sign of backing down, easily intimidating his foes.

History: Despite Zetsubou's overall childish behavior, he had immense power. He murdered his own brother without mercy out of simple boredom, slaughtered many other demons, in the hope of finding himself entertainment. Zetsubou's power, that had at one point surpassed the Lord of the Underworld, utterly scared the Lord. Zetsubou's boredom grew too large, and decided to challenge the Lord of the Underworld. When Zetsubou at one point formed the Akuma Ryodan, an anti-Lord of Underworld group, the Lord banished him to the Human World; since he predicted it would all go wrong if left alone, before it was too late, so Zetsubou could not seize the throne and cause any more conflict. There, he was sealed away by not only the hell's Grim Reaper himself, but also by Petos' father, heaven's Holy Reaper; Yuusha. Yuusha gave his life to seal him away, yet caused Heaven shame by having worked with 'something that belonged to hell'. For all eternity, before Petos had even known him, his name got carved out of history, forever lost.

Since then on, Zetsubou has been in a deep slumber to preserve (and bulk-up) energy within his Frost Shrine, located in a snowy mountain far North.

Abilities: Zetsubou is a dark type kitsune. He has a wise, noble amount of wisdom and possesses nine tails. He can create dark fox fire with his tails, control fire, and burn down entire cities if he desires to do so without any effort.

Zetsubou can summon nearly any type of demon that exists, with all kinds of powerful spells and enhancement spells, powering them up even more. He has a high heat tolerance and his psychic mind ability exceeds any other. He is able to control minds by calling out to people (if people do not submit, he cannot take control) and make them submit by letting them experience true fear and despair (Mental Manipulation), or set things on fire with his mind (Pyrokinesis).

Name: Spirophobia
Age: Atleast 10,000.
Gender: Genderless, takes an appearance as a little girl so you may refer to Spirophobia as "her".
Shrine: Maple Shrine

Personality: Spirophobia does not speak. At most, she laughs. She amuses herself greatly by watching others fall in despair like artistic pieces. Humans who struggle with themselves or have mental problems are her favorite type to observe closely. She's been around as long as people could remember, watching over the insane like a mother watches her children.

History: Since a very long time ago, Spirophobia had been regulating the continuous process of people gaining disorders. She increased the chances, lowered the chances for a specific disorder (against her will), and even at random passed some over to specific chosen human beings on the list. Always trying to entertain herself, closely watching and observing her surroundings. There was a time, she wanted to be more free, instead of being kept in watch by authorities, shackled away if not done a proper job. Zetsubou made it happen. He freed her from the Lord's grasp and she became grateful to him, started to look up to him, and decided to protect him. She saw Zetsubou's way of thinking and way of handling things as a new perspective, and an amusing kind of art. Spirophobia longed to follow him wherever he would go to. When Zetsubou formed the Akuma Ryodan, she happily joined to rebel against the currect Lord. Sadly, the rebellion led into being sealed away in the Maple Shrine, where she quietly awaits to be freed again by her one and only, Zetsubou.

Abilities: Spirophobia has the ability to do however she pleases with disorders. She can give people disorders, take disorders. She may appear in people's dreams, giving them intense, detailed terrifying nightmares one could turn insane of. At some point, too many nightmares will cause the person/people to not be able to distinct the reality from the dream world, (not knowing what is real).

Since Spirophobia is a very delicate being, Spirophobia can summon her two Grim Guardians (see her appearance picture) that give her extra defense, when she enters combat or receives any surprise attacks.

Name: Ambrogio
Age: 840
Gender: Male
Shrine: Concrete Shrine

Personality:
Ambrogio is a very playful and filled-with-joy adventurer who wants to learn the secrets of the world. Even after his transformation into a vampire he keeps his adventurous spirit. He is the most playful and childish of the bunch. He acts very indifferent to situations and likes to do things his way, causing conflict among the group. He quite the troublemaker but also the comedian of the group, something which all of them can use sometimes.

History:
Ambrogio once was a human man who was roaming the Earth, born in Italy in a painter family and was supposed to inherit the family line of work. Instead Amrogio decided to become an adventurer and explore the world which eventually brought him to Greece. As a young adventurer he wanted to uncover the world's secrets and by accident angered the god of the sun, Apollo, the goddess of the moon, Artemis and the guardian of the Underworld, Hades. He was cursed by Apollo to have his skin burn in the skin, by Artemis to get his skin burned when getting touched by silver and gambled away his soul by Hades. However he also received the blessing of the pitying Artemis to be immortal and stay young forever and the speed and strength that would rival her own. However Ambrogio's time limit on Earth was over at some time and he was dragged into the Underworld where he came in contact with the Akuma Ryodan, and joined the clan because of the curses that had been laid down on him by both Heaven and Hell. In the end however he was locked up in the Concrete Shrine, being punished even more by having to smell the tasty human blood every day.
Abilities:
As the first vampire he is able to use all of the ancient vampire powers. These include;

• Hematophagy: The art of sucking blood. When sucking someone's blood Ambrogio can strengthen his body once again. He does not require to drink blood in order to stay alive, but blood is the only thing that can satisfy his hunger as he vomits normal food immediately after eating it. He can also turn humans into vampires with this ability.
• Shapeshifting: Ambrogio can shapeshift into various creatures, most famous the bat, but other forms like a wolf, reptilian and a hideous creature are not excluded.
• Regeneration: Because he is a vampire he can quickly heal wounds inflicted on his body. The bigger the wound the longer it takes for him to regenerate. He cannot heal wounds inflicted by silver, or when a stake is pushed through his heart. Other places stabbed with a stake can be healed.
• Mist: Ambrogia can turn into mist and can slide out of obstacles, however when he gets trapped into something he's stuck.
• Hypnotizing: He can hypnosize humans, however it doesn't work on people who are undead.
• Telekinesis: Ambrogia is known to levitate objects and even life-form with his powers. With telekinesis you cannot control things that can't be counted like fire, wind and water.
• Invisibility: The basic ability for Ambrogio to turn invisible. Unlike Mist you cannot slide or go through objects, but only can't be seen.
• Necromancy: It is used to communicate with the deceased by bringing their body's back as spirits. Although this move is rarely used because in the Underworld the deceased can interact with each other already.

Angel of the Royal guard

Name: Nathanael (angel ruling over hidden things, fire and vengeance.)
Age: 86
Gender: Male
Shrine: Shadow shrine

Personality: Nathanael (or Nathan) is the youngest guardian angel and was chosen because of his looks (that might please Bikou) and his ruling abilities. He wants to seem tough but is actually quite insecure about himself and his powers. He can control them but not as well as the other guardian angels. The demon he is supposed to keep locked away is Bikou. He was chosen for her (and as a guardian angel) because he can see her even if she has disappeared in the shadows, can feel her vengeance and fight her abilities of shadow with his fire, her weak point. But because he hasn't been an angel for very long he misses certain knowledge about the world, heaven and the underworld, which causes trouble sometimes.

As a weapon he gives the user the same abilities as himself. They rule over things that are hidden from the eyes of others, over vengeance and fire. His weapon form:

Name: Cassiel
Age: 360
Gender: Male
Shrine: Maple Shrine

Personality:
Cassiel is a composed angel who has served in heaven ever since he was born. He loves gardening, tending the plants, flowers and trees around the Maple Shrine. Cassiel has a very twisted personality. His personality differs along with the weather. When it's a gloomy weather, he turns silent, emotionless. When it's sunny, Cassiel becomes a kind, warm-hearted person. He wishes nothing more but to help his fellow angels whenever they are hurt or are in trouble. Cassiel has a strong desire to be of use and aid others.

Cassiel, around his 200th birthday, had a wife who he cared deeply for. One day, his wife disappeared without a trace which left him shattered and empty. On the surface, nothing seemed to have changed. But inside, he felt like he would never be able to experience anything as worse as that. It gave him invulnerability within his mind. This made him unable to be mentally wounded/bruised. Cassiel became the angel of solitude and tears, and is even said that he presided over the deaths of all kings before he guarded the Maple Shrine.

Currently, Cassiel is guarding Spirophobia. He was appointed as the Maple Shrine's guardian because he was the only angel compatible against Spirophobia's abilities.

Staff's Powers

- The Staff of Redemption allowed Cassiel to heal the wounded. Cassiel also used the staff to dispel nearly all kind of debuffs. It's a staff solely for aiding others, helping for those in need. Cassiel also used it to set up barriers, seal down evil or give others an extra defense enhancement in case they got attacked.

Personality:
Libra is an angel who always likes to keep things in balance, she want order in not only Heaven but everywhere. Because of her personality she got a high authority in Heaven and possibly one of the most important jobs. She is a kind woman and always tries to remain her cool. However when talking about a subject of her interest she can rant and rant without noticing other people's annoyance. She actually has a good sense of humor but never really got the chance to show that side of her.

Sacred Weapon:
Libra possesses many weapons, like the regular sword in her artwork, but only one of them is truly a Sacred Weapon which the Scale of Justice. It is a scale that consists out of Yin and Yang and manifest as two fans for offensive combat. They have the special ability to make the balance in battle equal by limiting the powers on her opponent if they are stronger than them for a limited amount of time. The fans are made out of steel and can manipulate the wind.

Personality

Tenka is a very polite, well-mannered boy. Because of his looks, he often gets mistaken as a girl- though he does not mind. He does not care what other people think of him, and he lives his life in his own way. He is addicted to coffee and helps people when they need help. He is a truly caring boy. During highschool, Tenka was devoted to his studies. He is a hard worker. Tenka takes quite a lot of things serious. He's very docile towards the ones he cares the most about. In his spare time, Tenka enjoys taking care of flowers.

History

Tenka lives together with his 22-year-old, immature brother; Miyamoto Soichiro. Tenka grew up like a normal child, with different interests. It caused him to get bullied. Tenka, however, always smiled everything off. He learned to live with it and cope with the worst situations. Tenka visited the forest since a very young age near his town to find himself a piece of mind. He enjoyed the nature, took care of some parts of the forest, and spent a huge amount of time wandering around- until he found the Maple Shrine. The Maple Shrine rarely had any visitors, so he took his chances to explore. There was a man who stood out. The man always lay down on the ground at the shrine, staring at the sky whenever Tenka dropped by. It popped up a curiousity within Tenka. One day, it was raining, though it did not stop that man from relaxing there. Tenka took an opportunity to offer the man his umbrella. The man introduced himself as Cassiel. It didn't took long after this fateful encounter, that both of them befriend one another and spend more time within the forest; sharing their very interests.

Abilities

Tenka is able to heal others in need and dispel debuffs. He can enhance other people's defense if they get attacked, and he is able to create small to giant protective or healing type barriers. Tenka can also seal away evil with a lot of effort. Because of the staff's effect, Tenka gained regeneration abilities.

Natural Abilities

Tenka has always been bad at sports but he is a really talented fantasy novel writer and his cooking skills are outstanding. He has mastered gardening on his own and he is good with people; especially children.
