Major Local: The Grand Bazaar
Description: The Plane known by explorers as the Outlands is a realm of fantastic magic filled with strange bizarre creatures, and mind boggling geography. The plane exists upon countless floating plateaus, each unique in its own way. The beings who exists on this strange world, are a magically gifted race called the Orani. Standing near twice the height of a man with three gleaming eyes, the Orani are a surprisingly peaceful people who have mastered the art of riding the winds. Constructing all kinds of amazing flying ships or crafts.
The world's gains light from two great shooting stars. These large though not well understood orbs of light fly from one end of the plane to the next. Creating a peculiar night and day system in the Outlands.
The Orani upon discovering the existence of the Nexus, quickly capitalized on the fact the Outlands exists in a major ‘highway’ of sorts that happens to connect many worlds to its own. Having become something of a great terminal of sorts, the Orani established a huge settlement simply called ‘The Grand Bazaar’ where anything one can imagine my be bought or sold. The Bazzar caters to all walks of life, possessing everything from gambling halls, and inns, to even possessing a red light district.
Due to their great network of contacts, not to mention their own formidable understanding of magic, the Bazaar has been built as a neutral grounds of sorts. The Orani have used the power of their unique nexus gate to simply spirit away trouble makers in the past. Making the Bazaar an excellent place to meet or bunker down in for any wanderer of the Nexus.
Extra: The plateau’s around or beyond the Bazaar are a mixed bag, being less policed. All manner of strange creatures make their homes out in the wastes. Due to the bazaars nature as a major trading hub, more than a few artifacts find their way into the shop stalls.
