The world's gone to shit in the worst, most unexpected way possible as people got dead and rose up without warning and starting killing the living.

Telecommunications were the first to go, leaving us in the dark of what was to soon transpire, making us ignorant while the signs were all around us.

Then panic set in, and nobody was left to tend to the power stations, thus the inevitable happened and we were robbed of our precious electricity, sending us into despair.

Riots in every major city, and all the while as chaos was the order of the day, the dead just kept coming, tearing at our flesh, bleeding out our nightmares until they became daily life.

Those who struggled were unceremoniously released of their pain, those who thrived, survived.

But this is their world now, and we just live in it. The world that now belongs to the Walking Dead...

This will be set in the shared tv series universe of both the spin-off Fear and the main one, with our characters starting out in the city of Portland, Maine in the USA.

It's been a week into the outbreak, and martial law has been declared with the state's National Guard taking up town leadership and protection.

Standard Walking Dead virus, if you don't know by now, you've been under rock. Everyone's infected, you die even without a bite and you come back, unless by headshot.

In the way of characters, I want this to be a large cast, but only a limited amount of military personnel will be permitted, I'll be taking up the town's leader.

This will be story before action, so give characters room for development.

Standard forum rules apply.

Also this will be played out in an episodic format, for example the first episode will be called Pilot, like a tv series.

Supplies (you will either have an abandoned home assigned to you, or your own house, as well as a car. For supplies, you will start out with whatever you want within a realistic and believable amount. A computer programmer isn't going to have a rocket launcher by his toilet, strippers won't have Kung fu skills, ect.)
