Item of Importance: A titanium alloy Greatsword that's been passed down the Helcrest line. Like all Broken Lords he has the ability to drain the life from other sentient lifeforms to heal himself and extend his life. This mostly done through direct contact or in a ritual for a group sap. In addition a ritual can take the abilities of the victims even through the processed is time consuming. From draining part of the guardian FOTIOS he can use fire magic. His form grants him greater human strength and endurance.

10' long prehensile tongue - capable of lifting twice his weight, it's often used as a fifth limb.
Adhesive/corrosive saliva - his spit can incapacitate people, apparently.

Wallcrawling - the skin on his palms and on soles of his feet secrete mucous similar to the aforementioned adhesive saliva.
Healing factor - he's durable and heals faster than the average human, though not instantaneously--he needs time to recuperate.

Close physical combat -- his fighting style is reminiscent of kickboxing or taekwondo, though he'll use weapons as well.
Stealth -- usually the most agile member of his team, he's a good scout/spy/hitman.
Thievery -- growing up physically mutated, he's had to lay low to survive--if that means learning how to break and enter without being caught and crack a safe or two, he's fine with that.
Mechanical Engineering -- very good with his hands, he might have made a career out of this if the world was a little different. As is, he'll fix your car and figure out what the hell's wrong with the sink if you ask him nicely.

Her face appears like a fleshy mask and is largely blank, having large, glossy black eyes and a small mouth filled with small, needlelike teeth. Personality: Despite being naturally aggressive and a little cranky, Nova tries to maintain as positive as others, even if sometimes she doesn't succeed. She has a good sense of humor before losing her patience, which, indeed, is little. Nova tends to be violent when something goes wrong and, indeed, in many cases the violence is mainly her first choice to fix the problem. Nova has a good heart and, like her companions, is determined to do whatever it takes to help other people. It also appears she takes that more seriously then everyday affairs.

Powers:
Casting spells by speaking verbal commands backwards. She has proven capable on many occasions of casting spells by speaking normally, and, in rare occasions, the ability to use magic for simple tasks without speaking. Nova's reliance on her voice often led to her being bound and gagged, thus rendering her 'powerless'. On very rare occasions, Nova has cast spells by writing them in her own blood rather than speaking them aloud. It is used as a last resort, only to heal from severe physical damage preventing her to speak.

The only magic command issued in both cases, Heal me, had to be spelled backwards, as if she were speaking (laeH em). Overuse of her magical powers can deplete them to the point that further use of them starts to put a considerable strain on her physical well-being: as with other magical users, the only way to restore her waning powers is an extended period of rest. Nova has proven her able to call upon tarot reading for insight or divination. Apparently, such a task does not require verbal incantations, spoken or written, at all, nor is it tied to a specific tarot deck.

She has used her powers to heal, teleport, transmute and transmogrify objects, manipulate minds, and attack her opponents with energy blasts. Nova is a skilled illusionist, showgirl and stage magician even without resorting to her innate magical powers. In fact she considers part of her "training" exercising sleight of hand tricks, and she claims to have invented a variation of the three card shuffle game called the "Madame shuffle", in which she's so fast and precise that, even without resorting to cheating, only skilled gamblers are able to follow the movements of her hands.
