My dad said there would have been no pain and no awareness of death (its head was crushed) so I'm glad for that. And my family just moved to a new wide open property, so the cat was buried out near the edge. We'll call it "Peep's Garden."

It's a really sad thing for my family. The cat was only a few years old and disabled, so very endearing. And my youngest sisters birthday was yesterday. Bad situation, bad timing. :(
