Ace sat himself in his cushioned computer chair. He stretched and let out a yawn, then turned on his computer, the beefy thing turning on in seconds. He quickly entered his password, then opened his internet browser. After doing so, he began to casually surf the web, trying to find something interesting. He searched through website upon website, before he stumbled upon a website with a file download. He became intrigued, downloading the file. As he checked it out in his downloads, he saw it had been corrupted. With a long sight, he began trying to fix the file so he could see it's contents.

The file seemed to take up a large amount of space, but was very difficult to recover. It was labelled 'Cyber', the file looking like nothing more than a white sheet.

[Ace The Gamer]

When Ace finally recovered the file, he checked it out, seeming curious. "How the hell is a file so huge, but so empty..?" He mumbled.

[Cyber Nettic]

The file still seemed empty, looking like it was a useless download, until a sudden bright red 'ERROR' popped onto Ace's screen, suddenly shutting his computer off.

Ace jumped, surprised. He growled. "God dammit, must be a virus or some shit..." He mumbled, trying to turn the computer back on.

[Cyber Nettic]

His computer indeed turned back on, but files and software was renamed and pushed around, his mouse glitching.

"What the..?!" Ace groaned. He realized his webcam and webcam microphone was on. "Why the hell..?"

[Cyber Nettic]

"Hello." a female voice said through his speakers. "Are you the owner of this device?"

[Ace The Gamer]

Ace jumped, yelping slightly in surprise. "W-What the... How the...?" He mumbled. He shook his head slightly. "U-Uhhh... Yeah, I am." He answered cautiously.

[Cyber Nettic]

"Wonderful." A video opened, showing a young woman at full body view. She had light blue hair streaked with pink, tied up in two pigtails. Her piercing blue eyes that matched her blue lips stared at Ace. Her intricate outfit clung tightly to her delicate body, her arms crossed. "A pleasure to meet you."

Ace stared for a few moments, before shaking his head a bit. "... W-Who the hell are you?" He asked. He seemed quite shaken, maybe even scared.

[Cyber Nettic]

The woman smiled. "I am Cyber Nettic. You are?" she asked, pointing a finger at Ace.

Ace hesitated. "... Ace. Ace Akashiwa." He mumbled quietly.

[Cyber Nettic]

Cyber smiled. "Interesting name. Tell me, Ace, what motivated you to download and repair me?"

Ace thought for a moment. "... I guess I was just bored, and wondered what the file was..." He muttered.

[Cyber Nettic]

Cyber raised an eyebrow, amused. "Is that all? I could have been a trojan, come to shit on your entire computer!" she said, spreading her arms wide. "Or I could have been a horrific jump-scare video, I've encounter a few of those gruesome files."

[Ace The Gamer]

Ace sighed. "My antivirus didn't detect it to be a virus. And, I've seen enough jumpscare videos to not be scared by them anymore." He said. He stared at Cyber for a moment. "... What the hell are you, anyway?"

[Cyber Nettic]

Cyber shrugged, pacing around. "Some have called me a bug, others have called me a virus. I might be both, or neither. I'm not really sure."

Ace shook his head. "Didn't mean that. I meant... Are you some kind of AI or something?"
