The world is not what it used to be. The government was compermised long ago. Major companies rule over the world now. Our rights compromised for the benefit of others. Yet all while they are putting up a belief of a happy life. Those who are well set in those industries don't know of the pain, the trouble, the struggle those who are seen as rejects put up with. They are hypnotised into this world of fakeness. The new system of how the world works is run by technology, and those fortunate enough to be liked by the companies. The old streets below the floating super highways and many many flying techs; are filled with those the society has no proper use for anymore. The jobs they would have taken took over by effiecent machines. No they don't live their lives in holes dying. They find work hauling junk, cleaning those super highways, Doing the jobs no one wants to program a machine to do. Below where sunlight is slim, crime runs rampant, and the world throws its trash, they thrive.

Our version of raicism long gone, replaced by the hatred of the upper level, for the lower level. The lower level could care nothing about the upper level. But the upper level is so unhappy that the lowers are surviving on what they left and what they could not; they could never see the two levels as equal. So unjust is always served to the lower level.

Yet we are still here aren't we. So lets try and get along.

OOC Information

All characters will find their way to the U.L.D.A During the first couple posts. Get a room, eat something and then the fun begins. Things from Upper police raids too the weekly dumping of toxic gas and trash from the upper onto the roof of the facility. Can your character Thrive in the worse case scenario? They are just normal people after all, and its a person v person world out there. A few other things are listed below. I recommend checking them out. Tech is not as advanced as you would think. Holograms are functional, but bionics aren't though of highly by the upper level.

Rules:
1. USE COMMON SENSE. Just because its a futuristic world doesn't mean you can sense everything and everyone. Really bro.
2. If Your confused about anything ASK ABOUT IT! I am here for a reason.
3. Do not just drop this rp without warning. It will earn you a strike on my list which causes problems when you want to join another one of my rps.
4. Who runs and owns this rp? Me or you. Me, So if you want to agrue with me; Stop turn around and just leave.
5. I will not be mad if you ask or give me help with something. That is what you are supposed to do, Just watch your tone.
6. Try to be original. I don't want a character who you have used with every rp your in and they never change.
7. Have fun. Im not driving the story you guys are, make of what i give you as you wish.

@Song Book Okay because I was considering playing an experimental AI that was under development when it escaped. Kind of one of the first sentient machines, trying to figure out where it fits into a world that isn't ready for it. Kind of like a C3P0/BEN(from treasure planet) type but less goofy sidekick and more fish out of water wrought with existential crises.

Why it being a very cool idea. I was Hoping for this to be a human minded rp. I do think it would be an interesting character i do not have enough information on the ai it self.

Like a robtic ai model like a human? How far was the programming actually done? Does it function like a human in aspects regular humans would need to have? How is it powered if it is a human like Ai. I just need information.

Right!
So the AI itself was originally developed as a series of learning and information gathering algorithms designed to learn how humans behave an interact, with the intent of creating a service droid that could interact with humans better. When it gathered enough information on human interaction, it would compile it's data and rebuild it's functionality based on the collected data. Due to a glitch in the system, the compiler launched prematurely and formatted his system with incomplete data, leaving him with roughly the intelligence of a twenty year old with an especially good memory, but as a consequence, the compiler is running consistently, constantly reformatting his personality depending on the company. It still has a base personality that is curious and personable, but if it is around angry people, he will become angrier for example. This process is gradual though.

It's body is about equivalent in strength and reflexes to an average human in their mid-twenties. It looks roughly like the robot from Fooly Cooly and has several connection ports for interfacing with computers. It has an 10 hour battery life and requires roughly 2 hours to charge from dead. If it's battery runs out, it goes limp until it's recharged.

Would it be aware while charging? or is it like a sleep fase?

How would he not be found by the weekly police raids from the upper level.

@Song Book Hm. Well it'd be in like a hybernation mode while charging, but the police raids would be a much bigger issue. Not sure about that. I'll think about it and if I don't come to anything I'll do a different character.

Age: 27
Appearance: 5'6"
Thin and not very curvy.
Short tan hair, shaved on the right side to accommodate a plastic plate with several ports and a memory chip.
Hazel eyes.
Round, black half frame horn rim glasses.
Tall, thin face, rather gaunt with prominent cheekbones.
Clothing: Dresses cleanly and simply. Usually in sweater vests and collared shirts with the sleeves rolled up. Never NEVER wears skirts. Wears dresses and low heels only for very special occasions.
Skills: Hacking and programming, bionic and electrical maintenance and repair.
Personality Traits: She is a quiet woman who prefers to keep her head down and leave as little trace as possible. She's neat and organized, bordering on OCD. She has a bit of a superiority complex and likes to flaunt her intelligence, but can be easily frustrated when encountering something she doesn't know. She rarely lets her emotions get the better of her, and if something actually manages to drive to initiate physical violence, then you know she has been pushed to her very limits. She much prefers sneakier, more underhanded methods of getting what she wants.
Level: Born on the Upper Level
History: As a child she was always getting into trouble, and subsequently became very good at getting out of it. She Quickly developed an affinity for high level computer use and his curiosity led him to pick apart and find loopholes and flaws in both physical and digital systems. She graduated top of her class through high school and was accepted into the university run by Seraphim, the PMC her mother worked for. Though her mother intended to shape her into a strong force for Seraphim, she repeatedly hacked into and compromised the Seraphim systems and was expelled and disgraced by her family, fleeing to the Lower Level. While on the run from Seraphim, she found the Upgraded, a cult with transhumanist ideals and rose through the ranks fairly quickly. She received several illegal augmentations during her time there until Seraphim assaulted their headquarters and either arrested or slaughtered everyone there. Dana escaped by performing a mass erasure on herself. She deleted all records of her life from systems across the world, essentially making it so that, for all intents and purposes, she didn't exist. After this, she found her opportunities for work severely limited. Bringing with her what gear she could salvage from the Upgraded headquarters she drifted for several years, bouncing between cybercafes. Her nature for winding up in trouble found her in an arranged marriage with the son of a gang leader. The ceremony was interrupted by a rival gang and she fled in the chaos. She now finds herself on the front steps of ULDA.
Stuff: A small suitcase of clothes, a modified Seraphim laptop, electrical repair kit, miscellaneous wires and electrical parts.
Bionic augmentations:
Compuneural interface, allows her brain to communicate with her other augmentations.
1tb Internal memory partitions. Allows her to recall anything stored on these partitions with eidetic precision.
2 Universal Interface Ports. Allow her to directly access computer systems, essentially using her mind as the input device instead of keyboard/touchscreen.
Azide brand octocore neural processor. Augments her brain's computational skills allowing her to think roughly %75 faster than average. This is limited to logical processing, it does not aid creative thinking.
Military grade HUD. Displays pertinent information such as time, location, maps, etc. by projecting it directly onto her glasses. Also allows hyperspectral vision. The infrared and ultraviolet sensors are mounted on her glasses, while the processing is handled by her bionics.
Other: Because she has deleted all records of her existence finding legal, over the table work is impossible. She gets by running small hacking jobs under burner aliases, or through online scamming. Needless to say, she does not have much money.

150 everymonth. This includes the shared facilities, such as kitchen, laundry area and living area. Two bathrooms for each gender. one with shower one without. these are also shared but do lock.

She'll only have 7 other apartment mates. there are only 8 apartments to rent.

Plus my office head. who lives on the floor above.

History: Raven was the son of an influential biotech engineer named Charity Cromwell, who ran a biotech research lab that was avidly supported until his mother's methods of testing and development were revealed to be highly unethical. However, her company failed to shut down and Raven couldn't stand the thought of being associated with such a horrible family legacy, so he changed his name and abandoned his upper-level status, taking the path of selective bounty hunting. He earned just enough money to get by, until people began to recognize who he was. Now he has nowhere else to go and nothing else he can do.
Stuff:
-a single sidearm, which he calls a "Bioshock" revolver, as it fires electrified rounds that deliver about the same charge as a taser (this he modified himself, and believes it to be one-of-a-kind)
-a leather backpack with many different compartments (where he stores all his fun gadgets)
-some tools and miscellaneous parts that he uses to construct various one-off trinkets, like mini gas-bombs or more electrofied rounds for his gun.
-many, many packages of cigarettes
