X-Z smacked his hand away. "I know damned well who you are! And I'm not a slime that eats anything! I'm Klyntar, a symbiote! I live off of hormones, in particular adrenaline." She stared at him while she listened. She sighed. "Yes, I indeed covered Clay, but I was not apart of him. I only half bonded enough to give him a boost and talk, but not make conclusive decisions. I would only do that when I find a Host worth it. And a werewolf, even if he is pretty in more ways than coolness, is not on that list." She pulled something out of her, which looked like a kill switch, and pressed the button. A small vortex appeared in front of her. She stuck her arm in and pulled out a syringe. The vortex closed and she stuck the switch back in her. She swallowed the syringe whole. "It'll go back to the Nephestas once it reaches there."

Evelyn was shoved forward when the unknown man burst into the room. She scoffed and turned to give the man a look as if to say "hello, a little privacy, please?" When he left, she locked the door and crossed her arms over her chest, following Clay into the bathroom. It was immaculate save for the empty bottles that littered the floor, and a busted one near the tub. There were also bloody clothes amongst the bottles.

After she took the bathroom in, she watched Clay crawl into the bathtub, taking long swigs from the bottle he had taken from her. When he finally replied, he actually angered her. She knew he was lying. He hasn't been anywhere after the shit hit the fan, and then all of a sudden a fucking werewolf comes out of nowhere? Bullshit.

Evelyn's body tensed and an bared her teeth, her fists balling up. In a sudden jerky movement, she lunged forward and snatched the offered bottle from the man. She then there it onto the floor, adding to the mess of broken glass with the addition of alcohol. "Don't lie to me," she shouted as she had to hold herself back from actually hitting him. If it was one thing an hated, it was someone who lied to her face. Especially when she knew they were lying.

"You scared the shit out of me out there, goddamnit!"

Clay met anger with anger. It stained his face. He slammed his hand down on the baths edge as he came to stand up tall, towering over Evelyn he got right up in her face. His shadow cast intimidatingly upon her.
The broken glass crunched beneath his bare feet. His eyes stared intensely into hers. He had that predatory glare again. Then with a slow harsh whisper he replies,
”I said that thing wasn’t me, and I wasn’t lying. It might steal and use my body but I ain’t it! Ok!?”
Evelyn, if she is so inclined, might realise that the anger was not completely directed towards her but also the beast that Clay tries desperately to distance and seperate himself from. To him her accusations were an insult. Something he passionately denies and fights against.

Clay's sudden anger startled Evelyn, and for a moment, she was actually afraid. His sudden movements caused her to move back on reflex, hitting the shower door and sandwiching herself between it, and the the now angered Clay. She started breathing harder, her heart hammering in her chest. Evelyn had to look up to meet Clay's eyes, but never let her face give her away. It remained neutral.

And then what he said, hit her like a ton of bricks. Clay hated the werewolf. Despised it. He spoke of it almost as if it were a separate personality. I'm a way, it kind of was. This revalation left Evelyn somewhat speechless. She had no idea what to say, and her eyes glanced back and forth between his. And then, she knew exactly what to say. Evelyn narrowed her eyes and leaned towards Clay.

"Then don't let it control you. Stop playing the victim if you're not," she sad said in a low voice, gently poking his chest with her finger.

Sal gave a groan when she smacked his hand away. it's probably a first time he's seen one of these things...well except when the enemy's slime girl attacked his guild but other than that, he wanted to touch her. She was different but Why couldn't she just be a good girl and let him touch her? Anywho, he put that to the back of his mind while he ripped up the raw piece of meat in between his fangs while listening to her. "Sym..." he said shortening it to remember it better. "Wait? You know me? then you know what I'm trying to do then huh?" he asked

Okay, so she wasn't a slime girl but she was mostly a booster and eater of energy or something to that effect. "So what? If I needed you to give me a boost, you'll get on me and turn me into a monster too?" he asked her. Ripping more pieces of meat while he noticed her pulling something out. "You make portals too!!" Watching her swallow the syringe. "I guess you do know what I'm here for. You don't look like you're from here either."

He noticed something not far away from them. Sal pointed to the leak. "Hey what is that thing? I think you got a busted pipe or something.." he mentioned.

"I know exactly what you were doing. And I didn't create it, the machine did." When she heard leak, she was startled. She saw what he pointed at. Oil. Oil plus energy equals fire. Her eye widened. She jumped out of the sink onto Sal, slinking onto his back screaming. Web like structures held her female torso to him. "What ever you do, don't smoke."

"See...that's bad ass...makes you psychic and full of tricks! I'm starting to like you. Makes things easier not to explain everything. With you knowing everything, you're like a fly to my big pile of steamy shit." He said to her with a serious and sure expression. Now...he by all means didn't mean that as an insult, no. This was more like an admired compliment. A misplaced as hell, gross and weird compliment. But he meant it all in sincerity. He was taking a liking to the girl because of her skills and possible chance she could get him home.

When she noticed what he was looking at, he backed up a little with surprise of how she jumped onto him. "Whoa!!" he said as his eyes widened and looked over his shoulder. "Aww don't worry..I ain't gonna let nothing happen to ya. Big Sal's got your back!...well seems you already have mine but we will switch positions sooner or later..." He told her. When she gave warning not to smoke, Sal raised an eyebrow. "But...I was gonna share my blunt with you hehehehe....I don't smoke but let's go and figure out what the leak is. Hold on..." Calling on the power of a toad, following up with a prehensile tongue shot from his mouth and grabbed onto a chandelier and slingshot them up to a wall where he climbed to go up a floor to check the leak.

As they enter the room they would first see a trail of oil and half melted piece of metal and wires melted into globs of rubber and copper. The trail lead to a serverly damaged k12 sparking and melting as red is trying to fix blue on the inside. What was once a chaingun now more resembles a chunk of scrap half Hung half held its self on. "^cRit_{cal error} ^zzrtBlue! Buddy I can't hold this body together I need you come on"

A fair amount of time had passed since Clay last retreated groggily and grumpily to his room with a bottle of strong whisky.
The upbeat rhythm of his light footsteps, clear eyes and faintly smirking lips hinted to a different man returning to the bar.
He wore his usual jacket, open over his glistening wet tattooed chest. His hair and beard still held moisture and so too, strangely, did his soaked denim jeans.
Seemingly oblivious and unphased by his damp stature, Clay carried on behind the bar leaving wet footprints behind him in his wake. Rummaging through the draws he found and striked up a cigaret.
Puffing away he got to work wiping down the tables and returning dirty cutlery to the sink. Almost, nearly humming as he waited for customers.

If the door is unlocked, and a man could enter, So does swiftmail. He is wearing his knights armour, On one hip, there is a sheathed shortsword, and on the other, is a crossbow. A blue glow emits from his helmet as he walks in, and, if possible, finds a seat, listening to any possible conversations, hoping to have someone to ask him for a story.

Upon getting to the floor, Salamel looked around and could smell the cooked rubber, fluids, and just over all burning smell and heard the sizzling and sparks. the beast man walked towards the smell and sounds moving a piece of furniture and debris out the way. He spoke to the Symbiote. "You know you're not so bad once I get pass the clinging oozy stuff you do. You'd make a cool ally for my group." he commented before catching a whiff of a newcomer. Salamel would soon come down to be a little nosy but he came upon his target.

"Oh!! it's a Matrix Game-Bot 5000!!! Damn! now I won't be able to play it." He said rushing over to check out the machine. The scraps of metal and the melted pieces kinda bummed Salamel out and went to grab whatever piece that was still sort of intact and pulled it away from where it was leaking to turn it to check a way to patch it up. "Hey Sym...you know how to fix this thing?" he asked her.

She looked at it. "Maybe, but I'd need some help and tools. Go get some from downstairs."

A new patron entered. Clay looked up as the tavern door swung shut behind him.
A heavily armoured fellow, looking like he had a story or two to tell. The bar keep looked at him for a short moment and wondered what that story might be. His menial cleaning duties suddenly halted by this curiosity, but then as fleeting as the idea came, so too did it pass as Clayton realised he didn’t really care and continued on to tidying up the bar and service area.

She emerged from a desolate corner of the tavern, striking up, startled by her prolonged period spent napping but also by her location. She last remembered falling asleep under the cover of a large Willow, but emerging from under her coat inside of the tavern was not a possibility she thought useful. The young lass had spent years outside of the tavern's walls between her last visit, and in turn, she had grown both physically and mentally stronger. The plains she was stuck upon did not house her normal set of creatures, but she had instead befriended larger beasts with long tufts of fur and curled horns of which she had no name for and traveled with them where ever they had gone.

Growing accustomed to her the tavern, no longer fascinated by its very presence but an acceptance of her reality, she made her way towards the bar, pulling a smaller tied bag from around her waist and dropping it down in front of whom she believed to be the tender of the establishment at the moment. @Dark Light

" Jabukovača drink, please."

The bartender had a distant, tired look on his sunken face. Preoccupied and defeated his movements were as if though all a struggle. Vacant eyes scanned the girl void of recognition or life. With a few faint sighs and some sluggish movements clay presented her with a Jabukovača.

Served in an unusual ornate goblet, lined with gold and silver trimming and dotted with gems. It was clearly not of this taverns common decor nor style, but one had only to look around to see the morbid, luxurious decadent style slowly filtering in throughput the place like a disease.

A painting or two over here. The table and chair over there. A new light above, a different door handle. It was evident in the smallest places to anyone of any familiarity to the place or eye for detail. (Or a sense for the supernatural and or energies/aura’s)

She had sensed an uneasiness that washed the building. Though she didnt have the vocabulary to express the mood of the place. Instead now observing the bartender closer. Beleiving she had met him formerly, her memories though of years past were blurry. She had faced many turbulences between then and the present. and even as the tone of the Tavern changed her wild demonor still stuck out. Taking up the goblet she drank half of the cider inside quickly.

Releasing the goblet from her lips she tested out her English a bit more. Testing to see if maybe he would do the remembering for her.

As the new patrons words reached Clay’s ears, they twitched inexplicably and a brief glimmer of life struck his eyes. It was so fast it was easily misssed.
“Good day to yo too M’am.” he said flatly in he’s husky voice.
With a slight nod he continued.
“How else may I serve you today?”

While alone at the bar, a figure stood just out of sight on the second level in a pocket of luxurious and lush decor. Still and unnaturally silent, without observing, she watched all that was going on.

@Dark Light Her memories of much of the years before current were very fuzzy. In turn she could barely think bout where she had even been. Places coming and going quickly as she fell between worlds without the words to describe what shsheshshes gone through.

She had noticed the presence of another in the tavern but unwilling to go searching around like a frightened animal she instead raised the goblet again to her lips and began to finish her cider. Placing the emptied cup back down onto the bar between them. Kicker her legs to pass her anxious feeling instead.

It was either in her words that called upon his memory or her distant familiar scent reaching his lupine nose that caused a stir deep with inside of him.

”I am sorry m’am, you must be mistaken.” The deep flat words come out almost autonomously as he politely shakes his head. But inside...
She could sense it, she could see it, the beast didn’t want to lie dormant anymore. It was awake and it was fighting furiously.

The hairs down Clay’s muscular arms shuffled and stirred.
Cracks appeared through the iris’s of his dull and blank empty eyes. A vibrant angry orange. Furious and enraged. Thin barely visible slithers gave hint to the awoken caged beast.

Silently, frightened and scared, it howled for freedom. Help me! It would say if it could communicate from within its endless prison.

She cut herself off. Noticing thr smaller changes happening to the man. Instinct told her to create some distance. Yet she had been trying to stop listening to that prey voice, so she sat on that feeling for a while. Glancing instead quickly round and round the tavern. To see if another was the cause for the mans distress.

Her own memories lacking, perhpas it was trama or just something she had run across that sucked the words from her lips. Her figiting hand reaching up to wrap around the named collar around her neck as she stopped searching the tavern and instead focused back on the man. It was an old habit she had picked up. To search for comfort from that small piece of remembrance. As if the creature whose name resided upon it had not long past.

She had no words for why her alarms would be going off, but that was often what happened in human establishments. Even if the man she was talking to was acting very strange for a human, she thought she had no reason to act frightened, even if slowly frightened she had become.
