Have fun looking at all the shitty characters I've made (most of which I never got a chance to fully flesh out since their worlds imploded for varying reasons). Maybe it'll be a good laugh if nothing else? I know that's what I use it for... or if I ever feel like cringing. You ever get those urges? No? Alright then....
So, real quick I guess I'll explain the categories. Fantasy is where I toss characters from classic fairy tale settings. Castles, kings, plagues, and the like. There's probably a more appropriate word than just 'fantasy' but... meh. Modern is for characters in modern day-ish settings-- anything with electricity, television, and indoor plumbing for the most part. Fandom category should be self explanatory. Thank goodness for that because, as you can see, I suck at explaining things. Most RPs I typically join tend to fall into one of these three categories.

Adam is 5’10” and of an average build—definitely not scrawny but by no means a body builder. He has shaggy blonde hair, dark brown eyes, dimples, and a tattoo across his collarbone that says “There is no such thing as accident; it is fate misnamed.” Adam’s typical attire rides somewhere between classy casual and hipster. Judging by all the brands he wears, most people assume money definitely isn’t a big issue for Adam… which is, in fact, true.

Bio: Adam has lived in ____ since he was 4. He grew up as the eldest son of a very successful military general, his father, and lawyer, his mother. Growing up, it was obvious that Adam was a very clever boy and a fast learner. He never connected very well with his father, who was always away, however, and refused to end up like one of those ‘sissy boys’ that clung to their mothers all the time just because their fathers weren’t around. “I’d like to retain at least some semblance of my masculinity if you don’t mind, mother,” he would often say whenever he refused to help do dishes, make dinner, clean laundry, change his siblings’ diapers, or go out grocery shopping. This resulted in him having a very rocky relationship with his mother, who worked long hours and was constantly trying to find ways to punish him for his refusal to be anything but a “temporary resident” in her home.
Adam didn’t learn until after his parent’s divorce the kind of pain and suffering he had put his mother through. Although it didn’t exactly cause him to a undergo a complete 360 morality-wise, Adam at least tried to be more of a big brother and good example to his siblings—no longer so uncaring about his family members, Adam does his best to make his mother proud and, although a bit grudgingly, has made more of an effort to also be kinder to his younger siblings.... His father died one year ago in a freak accident and since the divorce his mother has moved back to her hometown, which is only about an hour from where Adam lives. She’s since remarried.
He’s been attending the local college in ____ for almost 3 years now—seeking out a degree in Computer Programming. For the last 2 years Adam has been living in an apartment with his girlfriend, Melissa, but lately things have been starting to deteriorate and he expects it’ll be over soon. He currently interns at one of the local businesses and can occasionally be found doing vocals with some musician friends at one of the local cafes.

Roughly 5’9”, Lorelei (or Lyn, as a select few are permitted to call her) has entrancing gold eyes, long, flowing dark brown locks that fall just below her shoulder blades, and a light, natural sun-kissed tan. Her body is shapely and lithe from her hours of extensive training and also for the purpose of keeping herself performance ready—she can’t afford to ‘let herself go’. Her hair is usually worn down or only partially up when performing, with several shorter strands framing her face. Offstage she typically wears it up in a long ponytail. Her arms are covered in henna tattoos from the tips of her fingers to a little past her elbow. They change about every month, but are relatively the same since she’s ambidextrous and does them herself. The tattoos cover up many of the cuts and callouses on her hands from working the ropes-- she usually treats these with potions and balms, but they're kind of a reoccurring thing. She has two vertical belly button piercings-- a simple gold gem and a silver stud ball and four small piercings along the long, pointed helix of her left ear—an assortment of small silver hoop earrings adorning them and one slightly larger hoop earring on each lobe. She has two silver labret piercings beneath the left side of her mouth and two vertical silver eyebrow piercings on the more lateral edge of her right eye. The way I picture her, she somewhat resembles a younger looking Antoinette Nikprelaj, and her voice sounds somewhat like Gemma Ward without the accent (like in Pirates of the Caribbean)-- though singing-wise it's a bit more refined.
Clothing/Armor:
For her performances, Lyn wears an assortment of outfits, but they're usually something similar to belly dancer attire; flowing cloth and halter-tops embellished to the max along with fine, decorative jewelry.
Off-stage she opts for something a bit less fancy, but comfortable and stylish nonetheless. She wears a dark brown/black choker necklace with a silver necklace with gold gems, a leather wrist band on her left hand, a leather glove on her right, and a dark red halter top with baggy black cargo capris, both with silver trim. She wears two deep grey-purple sashes that cross in the back and dark red shoes with a slight heel to them. On days when she is trying to be discreet or doesn't want any public attention, she wears a long black cloak with a hood. She usually wears smokey eye make-up, sometimes with a glittery gold bottom layer, and a light coating of red lipstick.
She doesn’t wear armor of any kind. Marcus, a sword swallower and fire mage she is occasionally forced to perform with deals with most tussles as her escort. Most armor would only restrict her mage abilities anyway.
Weapons:
On the right side of her waist she keeps a small, dagger with a velvety red hilt—she doesn’t know how to use it very well, never really having needed to use it before aside from maybe cutting up an apple, but she’s always figured it may come in handy should she ever get in a pinch, despite her lack of experience.
Skills:
Water (expert) ~ Under an old powerful water mage named Walter, one of the many circus mages, she discovered and developed her above-average talent for water magic. Acrobatics (expert) ~ She’s a circus performer. Balance and agility are an absolute must for her shows-- and Lyn is one of the best. She's exceptional when it comes to flips, climbing, flexibility, and the like.
Shadow (major) ~ Because there are many Shadow mages in the Black Marsh Circus, she picked up a good deal of it on her own, working tirelessly to incorporate the magic into her act the best she could. Athletics (major) ~ She’s a circus performer—she must go whole shows making every impossible feat seem like a breeze. An athlete of the highest caliber-- that's how she views herself anyway.
Sneak(minor) ~ Light on her feet and quiet as a mouse when she wants to be. See backstory.
Magic:
~Slopes (Water/High)~ Lyn is able to rapidly decrease the temperature of ambient water vapor in her immediate environment in order to form an ice slide beneath her feet-- so long as it is relatively close to the ground or some supportive structure like a wall, fence, tree, or ceiling, etc (Similar to Freeze Ray in The Incredibles, but no flying around on impossibly floating ice.) Doing this allows Lyn to slide along the icy surface at high speeds. Coupled with momentum and her acrobatics skills, Lyn is able to use this in various ways. Slight alterations to this spell would also allow her to create relatively short bridges or throw up a quick shield of ice to intervene with any oncoming blows. Depending on size of the ice structure being formed, more or less MP may be used. Generally she can't skate around on a continuous slide for longer than 40 seconds before her MP will reach zero. Lyn tends to preserve her MP by creating only short ramps off which she can slide and perform some stunt either on her own or with her water whip and uses the formation of another ramp to allow her to land safely.
~Breath of Death (Water/High)~ This spell takes about 2 seconds to charge. Inhaling deeply until the spell is ready, Lyn releases her breath and is able to encase anything within 5 feet in front of her in solid red ice. While this spell may not kill anyone, it can freeze them in place almost permanently-- requiring either blue fire to thaw them out or her own will. The breath lasts for 5 seconds and consumes half of all her MP.
~Water Saw(Water/Middle)~ With a sharp wave of her arm or flick of her wrist, Lyn can send a thin, but wide arching slice of water flying towards her opponent-- sharp enough to slice through an entire tree trunk at it's most powerful. This spell requires 0.5-3 seconds to charge, allowing her to either send several average Water Saws flying at her enemy-- one right after the other-- or a larger, more powerful saw. Each average Water Saw uses 10% of Lyn's MP.
~Water Whip (Water/Middle)~ Lyn gathers a stream of water into her hand and freezes it. A long, slightly thinner stream of water than attaches to it to form a whip (which she may freeze or unfreeze at will-- either into blue or red ice depending on how much MP she has at her disposal). The whip may last up to 5 minutes without being maintained, but will dissolve the moment she releases the handle-- unless she has frozen the whip portion and wills it to stay (in which case the 5 minute rule will continue on with the exception of red ice). Consumes about 30% of Lyn's MP.
~Red Ice Snowflakes (Water/Low) Lyn is able to create razor sharp throwing stars made of red ice shaped like intricate snowflakes, but no less sharp. Pointing two fingers at her target, Lyn is able to fire off a rapidly spinning snowflake. Each snowflake takes about 2 seconds to craft and can be given to someone who knows how to use projectiles, if she so chooses. When she uses them herself, however, she typically just manipulates the ice at her will. Each snowflake consumes roughly 5% of her MP.
~Deliquesce (Water/Shadow/Middle)~ Lyn usually only uses this spell when she is in a wet environment, as it is more dangerous to use in dryer areas. This spell requires approximately 5 seconds to prepare for, but not complete and total concentration, allowing to move about and talk-- but not use any magic whilst preparing. Deliquesce grants Lyn the ability to instantaneously (or slowly) liquify herself for 1-4 seconds and move up to 5 feet within that given time. She then will transform back into her regular self in a sudden burst of water vapor. In dryer environments, Lyn risks losing some of her own body water in the transition and becoming extremely dehydrated upon transforming back. Using this spell in a crowded or unpredictable area would also be terribly unwise. Generally used for dramatic exits and entrances for her performances, but can be used to quickly avoid an attack or transport herself under a doorway or through a crevice-- so long as there's enough open space on the other side for her change back. Consumes about 30% of Lyn's MP.
~Black Water (Water/Shadow/Low)~ Lyn is able to change the appearance of water to a thick black substance. Alternatively, she can also use different colors, such as red, for the water to appear as blood-- even taking on the same consistency, odor, and taste when touched, smelt, or tasted. Other than that, this spell is pretty useless. She uses this technique in many of her shows-- often coupled with Deliquesce. Despite the appearance, consistency, smell, and taste, however, the spell is only an illusion of the senses the water maintains all of it's other properties. Once cast, the spell itself will wear off within roughly 3 minutes. Consumes about 10% of Lyn's MP.
~Shadow Clone (Shadow/Middle)~ Lyn is able to make a clone of herself or another person, if given the time to study them. The clone has the ability to touch, take, move, and eat things, however, it is extremely fragile, unnaturally cold to the touch, and only the clone or Lyn may move about at any given time. When exposed to extreme amounts of light (such as direct sunlight), the clone's appearance may glitch. If Lyn decides to leave the clone dormant for several seconds while she moves, she is unable to hear or see what the clone is experiencing, but may sense if it is touched or destroyed. The same goes for Lyn's body when she is in control of the clone. The clone may last up to 10 minutes depending on how much MP Lyn has. Every minute the clone is in effect, Lyn's MP drops 10%.
~Sea Urchins (Shadow/Low)~ Balling up her fist for a little over a second Lyn is able to create a spiked shadow ball, roughly the size of a golf ball. They somewhat resemble deep purple sea urchins and inject a 4 minute numbing curse upon whomever is unlucky enough to step on them. The spikes shoot out upon impact, giving them the ability to pierce through the soles of most shoes and possibly strike other enemies-- because of this feature, however, the Sea Urchin is not a spell Lyn would want to use whilst standing nearby-- as she would risk getting hit. A single spike in the foot may only cause paralysis of the associated leg, but because she typically creates about 20 or so at once and most enemies are likely to fall down after losing the use of their leg, receiving a spike to the back, arm, or hand, is likely. Each Urchin consumes about 5%.
~True Face of Lorelei (Shadow/Low)~ Lyn is able to distort her appearance to that of something fearsome. Her eyes burn red, her fingers become long black claws and she seems to suddenly grow fangs and a pair of black, demonic wings. Her skin also turns a sickly grey-purple with red and black cracks around her wrist, neck, and outer edges of her face. Her ears appear serrated and jagged along the inferior edge. Her voice also takes on a demonic undertone-- sounding like two or three different voices speaking at once. The transformation is only an illusion, however-- thus her wings nor her claws are actually useable. The spell may last as long as she decides to maintain it using her MP. It requires very little energy however, so, uninterrupted, she could go for nearly half a day if she so chose.
Inventory:
Lynnette typically travels very light. She keeps her wallet in a small pouch at her waist. It is cinched, clipped, and buttoned shut to prevent thieves from slipping their grimy hands inside. She wears a dark leather satchel with colorful and intricate embroidery of some swamp flowers from Marshfall-- Crimson-Eyed Rose Mallows, orchids, and water lilies. Inside, she usually keeps her cloak. On the outside of the bag she has sewn eight cylindrical shaped pockets—used for holding eight bottles of potion—2 blue, 4 green, and 2 red. During shows she usually conceals these more discreetly on her person or elsewhere around the stage so she can drink one without the audience seeing if she is feeling fatigued or accidentally twists an ankle or wrist. Although she argued adamantly, Fyer and Falbi have insisted she carry a pen around in her pocket for autographs at all times. The same goes for why she always carries three or four Black Marsh Circus flyers in her satchel-- for publicity, they say. She also tends to carry a light brown, leather canteen of water with her whenever she isn't performing. She wears it on a strap that can be worn either just over her shoulder or across her chest, but whenever she has her satchel with her, she tucks it inside.

Backstory:
Lynnette is one of the main performers of a popular troupe known as The Black Marsh Circus—a circus well known for it’s “freakish horrors” as well as the beautiful Lorelei, dark enchantress of water and the hearts of men. The troupe consists of 25 colorful members, including three Zora (or two if you count the one with two heads as one person), five Gorons, one of which has four arms, and 18 humans; an assortment of musicians, magicians, and performers-- some more “normal” than others. When the circus isn't traveling from place to place, as it normally does, it stakes out in a colorful old theater boat typically anchored near the outskirts of Marshfall. Since most of those in the troupe don’t really have any other place to call home, most consider Marshfall to be their place of residency. The circus is successful enough to pay it’s troupe members enough money to make ends meat in spite of the hefty taxes.
The Black Marsh Circus, however, tends to bring in a good deal more money than it ought to—despite it’s success. Although there have been circulating rumors of the dark secrets surrounding the Black Marsh Circus for years, most folks tend to attribute them to the mystic and wonder of what goes on beneath tent, brushing off any warnings with “Oh, don’t be such a pussy.” Not all of the rumors are merely based on fear, however. The Ringmaster, Fyer, and his wife, Falbi, have been running the troupe for nearly four decades, acquiring very loyal troupe members with nefarious interests to match their own. The Circus, to a select few, has been known to do business with some shady characters—doing everything from sabotage to bounty hunting. Fyer, for the most part, is quite careful when it comes to who he does business for—being a greedy, but also very cowardly man, he fears invoking the wrath of powerful men and thus will not always agree to do just any job. So far, the troupe’s ruse has worked well for them.
Lynette, practically being the circus poster girl, doesn’t typically take part in the troupe’s dirty dealings—not directly anyway. Unless they have need of her water or shadow magic, she’s usually just the distraction. When her skills are typically needed for a job, all she has to do is sneak in, cast her spell, and leave-- which accounts for her sneak skill. In her younger years, however, Fyer used to have her take part in some of the smaller thieving tasks. While she proved to be perfectly capable of sneaking lithely in and out of places, however, she wasn't quite as talented when it came to nonchalantly slipping her hand into people's bags or pockets. It wasn't long before Fyer took her off 'thieving duty' and assigned her to other tasks. Most thieving of the audience takes place during her performances, anyway and, with her looks and reputation, all she usually has to do is bat her eyes and lean a little closer for most young men to hand over their hard earned rupees. This would account for why she doesn’t possess thievery skills.
As far as childhoods go, Lynnette's was definitely abnormal at best-- the circus has been a part of her life since birth. Her mother, in an act of angsty rebellion, ran away from her home in the Ikana Kingdom shortly before the gates closed to join the circus when she was very young-- too young to leave home for long without missing mommy and daddy and too naive to correlate this fact with the closing of the Ikana gates. Lyn's grandfather had been commissioned to move there and facilitate trade for his business whilst her mother's two older brothers, Sloan and Quin, enlisted to be Ikana Knights. For whatever reason, Lyn's grandparents decided to stay when the gates closed-- most likely because her grandfather was paid extra to stay so they could resume trade once the gates reopened, or so her mother reasoned. Lyn has her own suspicions, but has never voiced them-- least of all to her mother.
Lyn has never met her father-- nor has she ever sought him out. Although her mother always did her best to dodge the question, Lyn was keen enough to figure out the unfortunate events behind her birth well enough-- even at a young age. The circus became her home and all of those who were a part of it; her family. To Lyn, that was enough. Not growing up amidst other children and being around freaks, weirdos and creeps her whole life (yes, there's a difference), her social skills are a little worse for wear. She typically keeps people at arms length, treating them as customers or mere 'members of the audience' partially in order to prevent them from discovering her awkwardness and to keep up her Lorelei image. She rarely lets down her guard-- even to some of her fellow circus members.
Training for years under the many skilled performers of the Black Marsh Circus, Lyn was all but bred to be the money-raking star she is now-- unlike her mother, whose lack of ambition and cleverness never got her very far. Her water magic tutor, Walter, had been almost like a father (or perhaps grandfather) to her as well as her mother before he died of natural causes roughly four years ago. After years of rigorous training and time spent doing everything from cleaning the tiger's cage to filling in as a clown or magician's 'lovely assistant'-- she was finally cleared by Fyer to have her own act in the show. For the past two and a half years she has become something of a sensation in Termina-- adopting the name Lorelei the Siren and singing songs about the moon and sea whilst amazing customers with her magic, acrobatics, and allure.
With the upcoming festivities in Clock Town, the Black Marsh Circus wouldn't dream of missing out on such a beautiful business opportunity....

She looks older than she really is due to the way she dresses and does her makeup (not to mention her womanly assets)—so most strangers would mistake her for a college student in passing.

Personality: Liza easily comes off to most as broody, stuck-up, and (most likely) scheming. She's typically very quiet-- when she isn't at parties, which is where most can hear her singing at the top of her lungs or going on and on about TV shows, movies, and celebrities.
Inner Personality: Liza is very brave, independent, and both mentally and physically strong (if not a little headstrong as well). She may come off as stuck-up, but she's really just a hardcore introvert. She doesn't "use" guys or untruthfully lead them on. She takes pride in her relentless honesty and can hardly believe how many people are so eager to point the accusing finger at her for being a terrible person when they're the ones all lying to each other on a daily basis. This has resulted in her not making very many friends. Not having very many friends has never really bothered her much and she doesn't care what most people think of her. This is partially because she's always hanging onto her dream that one day she'll live in L.A. and everything will be better.
Liza is actually very intelligent, although she isn't in any honors classes and has been accused by most teachers of "not properly applying herself". In reality, Liza isn't at all dull-- she simply considers most of the things being taught to be completely useless to her. When is she ever going to have to know quantum theory in her future career? The only classes she ever attends on a regular basis are her history classes and elective classes for acting and dance. Telling Liza her dream is pointless would be about as effective as telling a chair it's anything but a chair. To Liza, her dream is a fact and her ears aren't open to any contradicting opinions concerning that fact.

Biography: Anyone with a pair of ears at Liza’s high school knows everything they need to know about Liza Montgmery-- and that is that you should never leave your boyfriend alone in a room with her. Most know her, basically, as the high school slut. She wears fashionable, rich looking clothes and wears a lot of makeup (especially eyeliner and lipstick), so most kids assume she’s just an attention whore/spoiled brat from some super rich family-- most likely born with a silver spoon in her mouth.
Most (but not all) of the rumors, however, are really just that—rumors. Especially the outlandish ones like how she hooked up with Mr. Hamilton, the science teacher, and ruined his marriage with Mrs. Hamilton, the school counselor—who now goes my her maiden name. Some are keen enough to see that Loose Liza is mostly just the scape-goat for most fallacious douchebags so they can keep going out with lady number 1 and 2 without a care in the world, but those keen figures are just as keen not to be seen fraternizing with a girl like Liza—for fear of their own reputation, most likely. At parties and school dances she’s been known to always show up either drunk or high, talk loudly, and dance like she’s trying to get people to slip money under her spaghetti straps or down her cleavage—which did actually happen once. The football player that did it was the talk of the school for at least two weeks and, reportedly, even got a girlfriend out of it….
What most people don’t know is the actual backstory of Liza Montgomery—which isn’t nearly as pretty as most people assume. Her mother, Rachel, married a 25 year old Fred Montgomery when she was only 19 years old. The two, however, had been living together for nearly two years before getting married—Rachel’s parents were as devastated as parents could be to see their one and only child run off with a drug-using partyholic like Fred—a man who couldn’t hold a job, dropped out of college, and was constantly in and out of jail for various reasons. But Rachel loved him through it all and, through her shy and quiet nature, didn’t raise a word of protest when their wedding turned out to be nothing more than a drive to the courthouse—she was already 4 months pregnant anyway, so… whatever was best for the baby, she figured. She didn’t protest when her husband insisted she not go outside wearing tank tops or shorts. Nor after five years when she was working two jobs while he stayed at home, drank, and watched TV all day. There were a lot of things Rachel never complained about over the years.
And there was a lot to complain about.
This was the life Liza Elizabeth Montgomery was born into. In spite of watching her quiet mother reel at verbal and physical abuse daily, she blossomed into a headstrong and confident young woman—quite the opposite of her mother. Liza was left far from unscathed in the confines of her broken home, however. She harbors a severe phobia of the dark—a problem that manifested itself late one night when her father was in a drunken rage and Rachel quickly shoved and locked a small seven year old Liza in a stuffy, windowless closet. The sound of breaking glass bottles of liquor and her mother’s screams, followed by a thud, preceded 6 hours of traumatizing hell for Liza while she sat in the dark and cried, listening to the violent late night horror movies her father liked to watch on TV drone continuously until her mother finally came to and let Liza out.
Liza took up Judo when she was 15-- paying for her own lessons. Doing so helped her finally stand up against her dad's frequent beatings and ultimately gave her the upper hand when it came to all the fights she was constantly getting in at school-- an inevitable result of her stepping on so many girls' toes when it came to her so called "despicable" dating style.
Since she was 14, Liza has been finding ways to work and earn money. As a result of her more edgy demeanor and the circulating rumors, babysitting was never really an option. So she found herself doing slightly more arduous labor like walking people's dogs, house cleaning, and even mowing yards and shoveling snow. Since she turned 16 she's been working at the local frozen yogurt place and just recently took on a second job as a pizza delivery girl, which is the real reason she hasn't been to very many school dances or parties as of late. Not because she got an STD, is on parole for shooting up meth, or was grounded for the first time in her life for selling her mother's expensive jewelry on ebay.
With graduation fast approaching, Liza has been saving up like mad to finally high tail it to California to join her brother. Derek did the same thing when he graduated and turned 18-- living with a friend for almost a year while riding on a scholarship he had to some prestigious college there. He's now been doing quite well for himself in the advertising industry. The two have been making plans with each other over Facebook for almost as long as Liza could remember-- plans to live n L.A., send money back to mom every now and then, and make it big in life.
But Liza has yet another reason why she's now itching to finally get out of town. A problem with a currently ongoing investigation. A problem that's been plastered all over the news lately. A problem with a face that's been equally plastered on the walls all throughout her school. A problem with a name...

Backstory: Felicia was born in Castle Town, but moved to Lake Hylia at a very young age where she helped her uncle, who was getting on in years, manage his fishing supply rental business. It was there that she learned her trade and eventually came to take over the business when her uncle passed away. Most of the villagers are quite familiar with her.
She used to be known as a very happy, laid-back person, but a terrible tragedy befell her several years back and she’s never been quite the same ever since. She continues to run the fishing business, but lives alone and tends not to leave home very often except to sell fish or buy groceries.

Bio: Ada was born in a dank cellar without windows. She was born of the screams and whispered prayers of 43 murdered children, tied and bound and at the mercy of a sick man whose name only Ada will remember. Over the course of 20 years, children repeatedly went missing in a small village whose name Ada never learned. The village shrank in size as the number of missing children increased. As suspicions of who the culprit could be spread, the village became a terrifying place.
People became unhinged-- that’s what Ada Marie Willows told her before she died.
The child was older than most of the victims- she turned 16 on the day she died. This girl was her favorite. As the girl’s life force dwindled, Ada could feel the power of her hatred and sorrow pour into her like… like the blood bucket into the man’s blood bath. Ada had nothing else to compare it to at the time.
“Can… I… borrow… your name?” she had asked as soon she could feel her lips take shape.
“Yes, but can you promise me something?” she said weakly.
“Yes, my friend.”
The girl’s soul had completely left her then, but Ada knew what she wanted. At least- she thought she did. All the other children had wished for it anyway....
Skills:
Hunger- Ada feeds off the negative feelings of others-- especially children. She doesn't particularly like this quality about herself, but fish gotta swim, birds gotta eat. She is most powerful in areas where there has been a lot of anger, sadness, or death.
Intuition- Ada is very attuned to people’s feelings, as well as their intentions. Not just in a “people’s person” kind of way, but more of a “creepy as hell” kind of way. Depending on her strength levels, she may even get flashbacks of someone's darkest memories.
Borrowing- [See Appearance] Ada has the ability to absorb body parts-- including her own if they have not been detached for too long. Ada doesn’t like having only one eye. She also doesn’t like missing teeth or bleeding all the time. Every opportunity she gets, she “borrows” supplies from the deceased so she can walk around as a normal girl. The supplies, however, have a tendency to “go bad” after a few days—or even a few hours depending on how old the corpse was. She can very well do this to living people, but Ada decided she doesn’t like it—even if the supplies do last longer that way.
Scream- In dire situations, Ada can release a terrible scream. The sound is so piercing that it shatters all glass and causes temporary nausea, dizziness, and deafness to any who hear it. The effects typically last a measly couple of seconds (depending on distance), but it has served to be a very good escape tactic.
Poltergeist- Ada has the ability to move small objects at will. Anything heavier than about 5 pounds, she has a very difficult time with. She also cannot move items that are further than half a football field away ("What's a football field?" -Ada).
Weapon of Choice: Air magic and a small pair of very sharp scissors with the handle wrapped tightly in linen.

Appearance: The sick man who tortured the children from Ada’s village had certain "repetitious behavior". This repetitious behavior manifested itself in Ada’s form. She was born without a left eye and is missing several teeth. She also has many fresh cuts beneath her plain, navy blue dress. Her body is not like that of normal humans—the wounds she carries from her birth do not heal and bleed constantly. For this reason, she typically avoids crowded areas as well as direct daylight. She wears a torn red scarf, which covers her mouth, and a bandage around her left eye. She is often barefoot.
These precautions, however, are only necessary when she has not recently been able to use her Borrowing skill.
Otherwise- she has soft brown hair and one soft brown eye. Her skin is extremely pale. She is about 5'3" in height and her physique seems ever so slightly undernourished (It rides the line between concern and "probably fine")

His origin springs from a love story that is wordlessly fawned over by some and blatantly spat at by most in Abel's small dwarven village, where he lives with his father, Anton. His mother, to him, is nothing but a mysterious storybook character. His father was always one to exaggerate when he told stories, so he doubts that very much of what his father has told him about her is true. Abel’s father is well known throughout the village as a humble, hard working, and good-humored dwarf.
His reputation was obviously tarnished when he returned one day from a long, arduous trading expedition with a pale, feeble looking child in his arms (feeble meaning he wasn’t nearly as stocky and strong looking as most dwarven babes). Anton had always been Abel’s saving grace, however. Abel had it in his mind that the only reason they tolerated him at all was because of how well liked his father was—as well as how fun it was to crack jokes about how the only reason his mother fell for him was because she likely had a blindfold on.
Nature:
Abel is a very independent young albmot who, weathered by years of upturned noses that were a good foot or two below his own, has grown accustomed to a life of solitude. This forced isolation has never stood in the way of his desire for companionship, however. Abel is very outgoing and inherited much of his father’s good humor. He is perhaps a bit egotistical at times, but has never bruised easily- at least not on the inside. He possesses a sharp wit to match the sharp senses he inherited from his mother. Never quite impressed with the ridiculous stories surrounding “how the dwarves came to be” Abel is agnostic and can, at times, be quite cynical.
Looks:
Abel stands at a very “human-like” height of 5’7”, quite stuck between his tall mother and his father, who could just barely get away with calling himself 5’1”. Abel has pointed ears that seem a bit dulled in comparison to the few pure elves he’s seen. He has light brown hair that is often tied at the nape of his neck in a short pony-tail with almond shaped eyes that are a light grey-green color. Although it was a term he was accustomed to hearing back home, Abel is by no means scrawny. He stands on a good middle ground. He isn’t nearly as strong as some, but knows how to take a hit as well as return the favor. (That being said, mindless competitions of brute strength have never been very appealing to Abel. He prefers to think his way out of most situations.)
Class: Summoning
Being the “filthy mixbreed” that Abel is, friends were not a luxury he found himself in possession of. When he was 7 years old, Abel witnessed a young human mage summon a small beetle-like spirit just outside a shop he and his father were purchasing supplies from a few towns over. The boy extended a small hat to the crowd as the tiny beetle stood on two legs and spit fire into the air in the shape of a circle. Some members of the crowd stopped and dropped coins into the child’s hat. Others stopped to ruffle the boy’s hair and commend him for being such a skilled summoner at such a young age.
He immediately told his father of what he had witnessed. His father, being the kind hearted man he was, supported the idea and bought him several books to train with over the coarse of several years. At first, his desire stemmed from impressing the other dwarves with what a powerful summoner he would be. It wasn’t until his first summon, when he was 11 years old, that he learned the true value of the skill. He couldn’t make friends… but he could summon them.
Abel has made pacts with four different spirits thus far:
--Pavel (wood) : A Chinchilla spirit. Abel’s first and weakest summon. He is completely useless in battle. --Ruuti (wood) : A Maned Wolf spirit. He is very versatile and attacks quickly. --Tiburtius (soil) : A Massive Mountain Lion. He is very strong and very stubborn. By far, Abel’s most abrasive summon. --Selin (water) : A Massive Vanilla Python. She is the largest and most powerful of Abel’s summons. Abel has only recently acquired Selin.
Story:
Abel grew up in a small dwarven village whose name he would never dream of providing to a newcomer should he be forced to explain how dreadfully puny and crude it was. He spent his childhood days exploring the nearby forest with imaginary friends and eventually some of his summoned spirits.
He had virtually no friends growing up, although he often thinks of a dwarven girl named Abbygail whenever he thinks that to himself. His father was quite certain the girl, who was only a year or two younger than Abel, had a massive crush on him. She once left a batch of flat, rock-hard homemade cookies on his porch for his 6th birthday. He actually chipped one of his teeth while attempting to eat it. Later that day he took them to a nearby pond and skipped them on the water. Every year after that, the cookies reappeared, growing less hard and “skip-worthy” by the year.
By the time he turned 18, he actually looked forward to receiving them. That was the year he found the cookies stomped and smashed outside the door. Later that day he’d spotted her crying behind some crates in the market place with mud all over her frizzy red hair. He left her alone.
When he wasn’t out exploring (something he often got the opportunity to do with his father being the local traveling trade merchant), he had his nose deep in a book. Knowledge was not an attribute that dwarves tended to emphasis and Abel gave up on trying to fit in at an early age. He was more-or-less an obedient son, if not a bit lazy when it came to helping out at times. He and his father tended to keep to themselves when they were around each other. They connected on very few levels. Abel never had much interest in learning how to arm wrestle or down 10 gallons of ale in under 30 minutes without barfing.
In spite of his filling the role as the village outcast, Abel refers to his childhood as being an overall pleasant one. He doubts he would have enjoyed spending time with the dwarves even if they had accepted him with open arms. He never imagined he would be staying in the dwarf village his whole life- not when there were so many other places to go.
Motive: Abel’s father has passed away. With no further reason to stay in his dreary little dwarven village, Abel feels he must move on to bigger and better things. He considers himself to be a very adept young summoner and figured the King would be overjoyed to have him among his ranks. As he turned around for one last glance at his poor excuse for a home, he spotted little Miss Abbygail standing at the village gate with a small white handkerchief pressed beneath her big, rosy round nose.
Appearance: Similar to the picture, Rowena has long, light blonde (almost white) hair that ends just between her shoulder blades. It is slightly curly and typically pulled back in a loose, low ponytail. She has soft, almond shaped and honey colored eyes and a tattoo across each eye-- not an uncommon sight in elven culture. Also characteristic to elves, she has fair skin and sharp features that most would consider gracefully beautiful. She stands at a height of 5'11".
She wears a heavy gray-blue cloak with slits cut to accommodate her long, pointed ears. She wears light armor adorned with feathers, a gray-blue skirt, and thigh-high greaves along with a pair of sturdy, but form fitting boots. Her body is lithe and athletic-- resembling that of a healthy human woman in her early twenties.

Nature: All work and no play; Rowena is a good-humored, gregarious, and spirited goofball trapped within the body of an apprentice with too many responsibilities to be anything but a nervous wreck. With the weight of her life's mission on her shoulders, she finds very little time to satisfy her unquenchable thirst for fun. Maturity came hard and fast when the war came crashing down around her at the tender age of 19. She works hard to keep her inner wants and desires under wraps, however. There are more pressing matters at hand, and-- in her selfless mind-- if her sacrifices can truly save humanity, it will have all been worth it.
Backstory: Rowena is technically a half elf-- although this description holds little to no meaning. Elven blood, at least according to the elves, is the strongest of all races. It cannot be diluted. Rowena was born to her elven mother, Patience, and human father, Henry Mulligan. Henry tragically passed away during a pre-war attack on Vevian by a group of orcs in spite of her mother's wishes for him to stay with her. This was during the time that the elves were desperately trying to warn King Antony of the impending threat. As he had for years, however, he tried to ease their worries with assurances that the army would be made 'a bit' stronger and the walls be built 'a bit' higher.
She grew up with her mother in the northern forests, deciding at a young age that she wished to join the elven guard in honor of her human father, who had been a soldier for King Antony. Rowena valued the ability to protect those who were closest to her and trained hard. Shortly after the war began and the elves went into hiding, however, her mother perished in a horrible accident that Rowena was unable to prevent.
A kind sage from her tribe took her in and made her his apprentice. She has been by his side ever since. For years she has studied various topics from weapons training and herbology to magic and legend. With the Time of Awakening at hand, she has traveled to Jeorva with her master. Disguised as humans, they are to meet with the chosen seven and begin their quest to end the reign of their evil rulers once and for all....
Goal(s): Rowena wishes to do everything within her power to see the seven elementos succeed. These are the desires she clings to. In reality, however, Rowena possesses a burning desire to travel the world and learn more about human customs. They have always intrigued her, but such a frivolous dream mustn't be pursued-- her duty comes first and, as far as she's considered, is her one and only dream for now.

Boo has long, auburn hair which is usually kept loosely braided against her back. She has soft, tired grey eyes, gently tanned skin, and a number of light scars on her hands, elbows, and knees-- the scars of hard work and inexperience from when she first began her life as a farmer's wife. She wears a short red cloak (ending just below her hips) and light leather armor. She is a solid woman, despite her circumstances, with a lean, muscular frame-- inherited from her father. She stands roughly at 5'10".
Personality: Boudicca is a woman with many walls and a dry sense of humor. She is experienced with life's tragedies and feels she does not have much more to give when it comes to caring for other people. She very deliberately plans to live the remainder of her life as selfishly as she must in order to survive. She is quiet, cynical, and prefers to keep to herself. Although she is penniless now, she hopes to one day accrue enough money to purchase some land for herself that is far away from those that would bother her with companionship.
History: Boudicca Graham was once the protagonist of what she once considered to be "the love story to end all love stories". She ran away from her father's estate, riches, and marriage restrictions to be with a young farm boy her age when she was 19. By the time she was 21, she was the proud mother of a healthy baby boy. She loved working on the farm with her beloved. She loved caring for her baby. She wanted nothing more than the happiness of her family. She fed off of their happiness like a grudge feeds upon the soul.
Her little empire of happiness came crumbling down that winter, however, when her son, nearly a year old, became dangerously ill. Panicked, the pair tried everything to cure their son, but the sickness only gripped him tighter. At last, Boo and her husband faced the fact that their son was going to die. That was when, for the first time in her life, she heard someone say "I could use a grudge." Her hair stood on end as she stared at her husband, the gears of her mind trying to wrap around his suggestion without completely recoiling in fear.
"He-- He's on the brink of death, my dear... what would be the cost?" "It doesn't matter," he'd said, resolute, "I'll sacrifice whatever it takes." She smiled, warmly but worriedly, "I will stand by you, no matter what happens, love."
Her child was saved and the father became twisted. He became trapped in a perpetual sickness and his body grew weak. Taking on much of the work that her husband could no longer do, Boudicca endured for the happiness of her family. Amidst her many duties, she desperately tried to please her husband, but the fragments that remained of his broken soul were cruel and physically, as well as mentally, abusive. He was no longer the man she once loved, but she was determined to keep her promise to him.
As if the Gods felt she wasn't miserable enough, a band of thieves raided their farm the following fall, throwing a torch through the window of the baby's room after filling their bags with as many valuables as they could find. Boudicca grit her teeth and ran into the flames without a moment's hesitation. Debris fell from the ceiling and struck her, but they felt like mere bird's wings beating at her head. She scooped up her screaming child and carried him outside. By the time she laid him in the grass, he had grown silent. His frail little body shook with pain and shock and for the second time that night, she felt a piece of her soul depart.
The baby's burns began to heal. Through her tears, Boo reached out to hold him. Her arms shook uncontrollably. A shooting pain coursed through her muscles as she pulled him close. Behind her, her husband laughed in the face of the fire as the ashes danced above him. When she turned to look, she saw him twisting the flames into serpents and dragons-- using another grudge just for the insane hell of it.
In the days to follow, many things were to change for Boudicca. She wrote a long letter and left her son on the doorstep of her father's mansion, sold her land, and slid a knife into the back of her husband's skull. It has been many years since her fairy tale romance met it's tragic end. Now she is in Deln-- her stomach empty and purse-cutting knife sharp.
Skills:
Thievery: Over the past several years, Boo has become very adept at pick-pocketing and other such forms of deceit and thievery. Due to her disability, however, her results are not always as consistent as she would like. Nonetheless, she has learned how to work around her infirmities in many ways.
Farming: Naturally, Boo knows all there is to know about running a farm. From how to care for crops to milking cows and sheering sheep. Or at least she used to....
Book-smarts: Growing up in a wealthy family, Boo was monetarily blessed with a prestigious education. She still retains much of her knowledge on history, English, math, and science. Her facts aren't as straight as they used to be, but her confidence in her book-smarts has remained in tact.
Violin/Singing: Another by-product of her once-wealthy life style. She had a teacher for each and excelled in both. Her father was not one to waste money and would not have insisted she keep up the lessons otherwise. She hasn't touched a violin since the incident.
Grudges:
Grudge of Sanctuary: When someone she loves with all her heart is in any sort of distress, Boo can summon the power to become impervious to harm for a short time. When-- and only when-- she comes in contact with the person she is trying to aid, her ability is extended to them as well. This ability does not heal the loved one-- it only shields them from further harm for as long as the spell lasts and Boudicca is touching them. She can only extend her shield to one person at a time.
Grudge of Desperation: This grudge allows Boo to heal someone she cares about. The cost is dependent on the severity of the injury or sickness she is trying to heal.
Grudge of Solitude: Boo desires nothing more than to accrue enough money to abandon society forever. With a wave of her hand, she can knock foes and would-be friends off their feet and across the street. This grudge is one driven by anger and thus far Boo has not had need of it.

She typically wears edgy punk type clothes ( [x] [x] ) and dark, but lightly applied make-up. She stands at about 5'10" and has a tattoo of some peonies on her left shoulder. This symbol glows a warm, honey-gold color on the center of her chest, just below her collar bone, only visible when activated.
Personality:
"A dream doesn't become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work." This quote by Colin Powell has been meticulously written on the inside cover page of every journal Rhian has ever owned-- except her most recent one. Rhian is a very scrupulous person. She has a memory like a tack and can be a very quick-witted brat when she's frustrated. In many ways, Rhian fits into the 'popular girl' stereotype, but she has always viewed herself as a decent person.
She never poked fun at the nerds in school-- although she most certainly could've. She never knocked anyone's books out of their hands. She never laughed at anyone's homecoming dress... but she never told her friends not to, either. She longs for acceptance and always felt warm and safe and normal nestled within her group of friends-- just outside of the limelight, but close enough to not be forgotten whenever party invitations were handed out. Along with her longing to be normal, she tends to avoid anything that is not. That included anyone and anything having to do with magic.
Rhian has a rough, edgy style and took up smoking when she was 16 to complete her 'look' and rebel against her parents. She likes loitering around the mall, getting just drunk enough not to do anything stupid at parties, raves, and bonfires, and going to the movies. She also likes cats (although her parents are allergic), writing in her journal, dubstep, and playing volleyball. She's very much an extrovert and enjoys the company of friends. She also has severe insectophobia.
Some might read this and call her superficial... and some might be told to "shut the fuck up" because "you don't know me." But you do, don't you? Meet Rhian.
History:
Rhian's parents are what most people would refer to as "eccentric" progressives. They wear matching sweaters and glasses and are the proud owners of their very own botany and entomology lab and greenhouse-- conveniently attached to the house. They share many things, but the one thing they seemed to cherish most of all is their love for magic and lore. Neither of them have any magical capabilities of their own, however. They would lament about this fact in the most obnoxious fashion, day in and day out throughout Rhian's life as an only child.
"Ry-ry, if I had magic, I would make it so you aren't so afraid of Mr. Fuzzy Legs here!" "Ry-ry, wouldn't it be amazing if we could fly right up there and get your kite?" "Ry-ry, if I had magic, us girls wouldn't GET periods." "Ry-ry, I'd make you forget all about that jerk from school that stood you up-- if I had magic."
Yes, it seemed her parents relied quite heavily on those phrases whenever Rhian was in desperate need of parental comfort or counsel. It didn't take long for her to realize that what she really needed were just different parents. She still faintly holds on to the theory that she was switched at birth and somewhere out there there's a pair of perfectly normal parents wondering what went wrong with their geeky, weirdo daughter who eats dirt and keeps pill bugs in her pockets.
She and her parents couldn't have been more different. They liked quiet, books, bugs, and thinking outside the box. Rhian liked parties, shopping, and not getting laughed at. She hated all the bugs that crept out of the greenhouse. She hated listening to her parent's outlandish ideas about politics and society. And, above all, she hated their sickening fascination with magic.
Subconsciously, her resentment towards her parent's eccentricity manifested itself in many ways during her teen years. She took up smoking, permed her curly hair (which used to match her mother's), got a tattoo, pierced her ears twice, and ate lots of salad. Okay, maybe that last one wasn't an act of rebellion, but she IS very self-conscious of her weight and over-all image.
Rhian had a vast number of friends in school. She was generally nice to just about everyone, liked to hit the town with her friends, and basically spend as little time at home as feasibly possible. She was an A grade student with hopes of attending Harvard and becoming a lawyer. The closer Rhian got to her 18th birthday, the more obnoxiously persistent her parents became with their hope that Rhian might indeed be gifted with magic. They seemed to believe that through sheer will power, she would be "gifted" with an affinity for it.
Her resentment towards them only grew. She didn't have magic powers, she didn't WANT magic powers, and she would rather die a slow and horrible death then fill in the blank of her parent's ridiculous fantasy. The day before her 18th birthday, her parents, without her knowledge, arranged for her to meet with a old soothe-saying witch who, for the sultry price of $49.99, would be able to pinpoint what power Rhian had-- if she had one. They met in a tiny office and, under the guise of a college scout, the woman sat quietly as Rhian enthusiastically discussed her aspirations and dreams.
At the end of her chat, the woman asked Rhian to excuse her for a moment and left the room. Not long after that, the door creaked open just enough to allow what she knew to be her father's giant huntsman spider, also known as Mr. Fuzzy Legs, into the room. What resulted was an immense amount of screaming, a room full of spider, and Rhian sobbing on the ground while Mr. Fuzzy Legs, now a hundred times his size, affectionately rubbed his pedipalps on her face. This moment was soon followed by her parents opening the door with a synchronized "awwww".
It was the second worst day of her life. The worst being the next day-- when that damned letter came in the mail.
Her parents vowed to withhold her college fund if she refused to give Four Winds a chance.

Rhian is very athletic, thanks to her 3 years on the varsity volleyball team. She is also well versed when it comes to fashion and the like. She can roll a mean blunt and hold her liquor, although some might not consider either of those a skill. She's not an especially good writer, but she keeps a good journal, so I guess... journal-keeping?
Rhian has trouble talking herself up, but while she may not be especially talented in anything in particular, she's a very hard worker with a heart of gold.
Magic: Name: The Bug Mother Type: Manipulation Description: Rhian's magic grants her a deep bond with all the creepy-crawlies of the world. They are drawn to her like a cub to it's mother, yet they are much more obedient. That is what Rhian has been told, anyway. She has yet to get the whole 'obedience' part down aside from one thing-- Rhian also possesses the ability to vastly increase the size of any bug she chooses (or accidentally chooses).
This can only be done with one bug at a time and is accomplished by greatly focusing on the bug in question. (Unfortunately this tends to happen whenever Rhian has an insectophobic episode). She is able to scale up the average sized insect to that of a chow chow. Should the insect expire during it's time as a colossus, it will promptly shrink back to it's original size-- dead as a door nail.

When Vanessa was 10 years old, her mother succumbed to post-partum depression. Being the eldest of five, Nessa, who from the time she could walk had always possessed a very low tolerance for tomfoolery, became very mature very quickly. Her father was poor and uneducated, thus leaving him with a low paying job and a tendency to lean a bit too heavily on his eldest daughter when it came to helping with the younger children and keeping the house in order. She learned exactly what a lack of planning for ones future would result in-- and in her father's case it was a fucked up liver, too many mouths to feed, and a painfully obvious lack of money.
As soon as she turned 14, Nessa began searching for a part time job. She wasn't entirely unpleasant back then, but she didn't allot much time for friends. Eventually her tendency to always put work and money before play started to take it's toll. As a result, Vanessa grew up with many acquaintances in place of friends. Mostly undeterred, she used the extra time to challenge herself in both her academics and her artwork. Inspired by space, spray painting stars and nebulae soon emerged as her niche.
Academically, she took business classes and excelled in math above all. She began selling her artwork and was soon bringing in almost as much money as her father, though she never told him this. A large portion of her wages went towards spackling gaps in her family's finances. Always on the look out for the best paying summer jobs, Vanessa was one of the first to apply when she found the position at Camp Kanarock. Hugging her father and siblings goodbye, she jumped into her recently-purchased-and-anything-but-new little car and set off to claim her fortune.

ησямαℓ Jin has light pink hair and large, soft yellow-green eyes. Her mouth seems to always be in a perpetual pout. She has a smattering of freckles across the bridge of her nose and the tops of her shoulders. Standing at about 5'6" (170cm), Jin is as remarkably skinny as she is flat chested. Her clothing outside of school is of the dainty variety (cardigans, lace, frills, and flowery hair clips galore).

With long crimson pigtails and two glowing yellow irises, surrounded by black, Jinx's appearance is as striking as it is unsubtle. When she wishes to disguise her identity without transforming back into Jin, she can often be found with her hair tucked into the hood of a black and red cape/cloak [x] with silver wrap-around sunglasses [x] Jinx has no freckles and her upper canines are much sharper than usual.

Jin is a shy, quiet, simple-minded girl. In spite of her timid exterior, she loves to be included and doesn't flinch whenever she finds herself in the limelight. She constantly craves amusement and is so overdue for an ADD diagnosis it's not even-- oh look, a penny! (What's a penny doing in Japan?)
Behind closed doors, one will find that Jin is a very hyper, impulsive girl with more energy than she knows what to do with. She also has a surprisingly dark sense of humor. She rarely voices her opinions and when she does, she is often quite vague and scatterbrained in describing why she feels the way she does. Talking about feelings flusters her to no end-- as do most things. Her life as an orphan in the crappy Japanese institutions trained her to keep these less desirable attributes under wraps for the most part.
Jin also happens to be successfully failing nearly every subject in school and, when addressed about this issue, tends to completely zone out.
Jin's personality when she transforms into Jinx is completely different. She is loud, talkative, and embraces her dark humor with immense enthusiasm. She is entirely without restraint. Talking about emotions or anything relatively deep still makes her feel very uncomfortable. While an uncomfortable Jin might stammer and blush, however, an uncomfortable Jinx can and will do anything within her power to get you to shut up. She is ignorant to the extent of the pain she inflicts and yet all too aware of her desire to inflict it. Fun is her only goal.

Leo is currently only the size of a Great Dane. Being a familiar, however, he has the potential to be even more mighty and massive than he was during the Jurassic age. Unlike this stupid inaccurate photo here, he is entirely black with glowing yellow eyes to match Jinx. He is also able to swim through the air as if he was in water. However, the best part about Leo, if you were to ask Jinx, is that she can store an endless amount of stuff inside him-- she need only reach her arm down his throat, think of what she wants and VOILA! She has procured whatever it is she wanted that was stored in there. And it has a nonspecific amount of drool on it.

Baka looks like a regular cat. Baka is boring and stupid and never listens. Baka will try to attack your face and if you slice or kill him, he will turn into two smaller Bakas and so on and so forth. When Baka is bored, Baka likes to tear up origami cranes and rip open teddy bears so he can lay inside them. Jinx hates Baka. He is an evil cat. If she could kill him, she would.

The fuel for Jinx's abilities stems from the frustration she feels because she is unable to connect with or rely on people, understand anything that's going on in school, or be free enough to be herself and have fun in less non-conventional ways. See Biography.

Jinx erects a bubble-like force field around herself and whoever is within a 15ft radius. Everything within the bubble (including herself) is frozen in time and space. Those affected are mentally trapped in a land of Jinx's own creation. There are only three ways to escape.
The first is to realize that what you are seeing is not real. The moment your mind makes this connection, you are thrown out of the bubble (not enough to seriously injure anyone-- just enough to force you out and off your feet).
The second way to escape is to die in Jinxtopia. With these first two methods, if you were the only person (besides Jinx) inside Jinxtopia, the force field disperses. Everyone trapped within the bubble must escape in order for the spell to be completely broken. Otherwise, you will have to resort to method number three.
The third and final way is for an outside force with IMMENSE strength to shatter Jinx's force field. Of course, this method runs the risk of injuring whoever is inside, but it is the most effective way to ensure everyone is freed and the spell is broken.
The main flaw in Jinxtopia (for now) is that it always looks the same. Thus, every Prince who has ever gone up against this spell is practically immune to it. Spreading the word about what the world looks like could also work-- so long as the other person isn't stupid enough to forget.

A peck and the last half an hour is a blur. A smooch and you don't remember what you ate for breakfast or who dressed you. A full on make out session and you might suddenly find yourself with a 3rd grade education.
By kissing the lips of another, Jinx can cause temporary amnesia. The effects wear off between seconds, minutes, and hours depending on how long the kiss lasted.

Jinx can throw dark purple balls of fire. Depending on her state of mind (i.e. how frustrated/enraged she is), the balls can range from the size of a gumball to the size of a washing machine. With focus, she can create a steady stream of fire, but the intensity also relies on her mental state. The fire stream also tends to take a second to charge, so it isn't as useful to her during combat as it could be.

Artistic/Creative, VERY Energetic, fast (for a witch)
Jin is many things-- and many more things in her day dreams. The thing that she is most sure about herself being, however, is a "stupid orphan". She also knows that she is at least half Japanese, though this fun fact is only known because her mother bothered to fill out the "Ditch-Your-6-Month-Old" form before crashing her stolen car into a tree on her way to the airport. Jin doesn't hate her mother, however. If she did, she might be an even stronger witch. But she simply doesn't have the capacity.
Growing up in one of the many institutions around Japan was about what you would expect for a somewhat pretty girl who was as ignorant as she was innocent. She endured abuse from caregivers and elder children alike, but could never process exactly what was wrong with what was happening. Frustration. The list of things she couldn't understand had grown and didn't show any signs of stopping. Homework and feelings and changes in her body-- with no parents or friends to talk to, she suffered in silence. She wished it would all just go away. She wished she could burn this world around her-- reduce it to ashes-- and create a new world entirely of her own.
Until she discovered her powers a month ago, origami, finger paints, collecting stickers and cutting pictures out of magazines helped distract her from the frustration. It wasn't fun, but it was all she had. Since discovering her powers, Jin has rapidly accepted her role as a Chaos Witch. Finally, she has the power to eradicate all the things that irritate her. Finally she has the power to make life simple-- to make life fun.
Jin was recently discovered by her Aunt and Uncle, who live in Tanzaku City and happen to be fabulously wealthy. Well... wealthy enough to adopt Jin and buy her a wardrobe of clothes that don't have holes or mystery stains. Perpetually unsure of whether or not she likes her Aunt and Uncle, Jin is at least happy to no longer be confined within the institution's walls. She's freer than ever and ready to spread some Chaos.
Felicia is roughly 5’9” with olive skin, long wispy grey-green hair, pointed ears, and downturned grey eyes that tend to always look tired. She typically wears her hair in a loose side braid with an old blue and white hat, passed down in her family for generations. Felicia’s typical garb consists of a dark army green ¾ sleeve shirt, dark denim blue pants within brown overalls, light brown boots, a single white earring on her right ear, and a thickly woven twine bracelet. She also wears a necklace with her wedding ring on it, but it's so long that the bottom disappears into her shirt and overalls.

Felicia has become known as a very reclusive, albeit altruistic, person. Those in town who have tried to get close to her are often met with a thousand and one polite excuses for why she's too busy to keep chatting. One would think she's the busiest single woman with no dates alive, but anyone who frequents the local pub after her shop's closing hours would be able to tell you otherwise.
She isn't irresponsible with her drinking, per se. Every weekday morning she's at her shop, sober and seemingly normal. She's always kind and patient with her customers and employees, but anyone who knew her before her incident can tell she isn't quite right. She's jumpy, anxious, nods off when nobody's looking, and is altogether quite gloomy, despite her attempted fronts.
Talking about fish is the only thing that really seems to bring a spark to her eyes these days. She has a great fascination with it and, given the opportunity, will talk your ear off about everything she's read about the ocean rumored to exist beyond the Haunted Wasteland-- a massive body of water so vast it couldn't possibly ever run out of life.

Felicia was born in the dingy part of Castle Town to a family with little in the way of prospects. Her father worked as a street cleaner and her mother would occasionally clean people's homes for a small fee. Her parents worked hard enough for her and her younger brother to live a comfortable life-- they put food on their plate and shoes on their feet. Regardless, however, they wanted more for their children and Felicia couldn't have been more on board with that idea.
When she turned 14, her father's uncle, Heno, reached out to her family for help. He was getting on in years and, never having been married, wanted to train someone to manage his fishing supply rental business at Lake Hylia. Of course, Felicia's brother was first pick, but upon finding out how badly his sister wanted to take the position, he stubbornly refused it. He had his eyes set upon other horizons anyway.
Eternally grateful to her brother, Felicia packed only a select few of her belongings and set off to join her uncle in Indigo Town. It was there that she learned her trade and eventually came to take over the business when her great uncle passed away. She soaked up every bit of information he provided her with, even going so far as too use her new-found literacy to read all about fish and their origins with great enthusiasm. Maybe it was because she was so happy to have discovered a path other than sweeping streets or scrubbing floors, but her love for the work couldn't be denied.
Her laid-back, upbeat attitude easily won the hearts of the townsfolk and she became a well-known face like any other in the small town. At 19, Felicia fell in love with a local Silencer named Derek Reid. They were married by the year's end. Derek taught her basic sword techniques-- lessons which were never taken very seriously and often resulted in the sound of giggling rather than the sound of metal on metal. Felicia, in turn, taught Derek how to fish. The pair enjoyed going out early in the morning to watch the sun rise over the glistening lake.
A year and a half later, Felicia became a mother. She named her daughter Lily and the small family of three were as happy as a family of three could be.
One cold autumn night, however, the howls of a pack of Wolfos ripped through the town. They were large in number and took the Silencer's by surprise. Many lost their lives, but in the end they were able to protect the town from an all-out massacre. Normally Felicia would not allow Lily to leave her side during such a night, but a string of unique circumstances whisked the baby girl away. In one fell swoop, Lily and Derek were gone and Felicia has never forgiven herself. Two years ago, the town mourned the death of the Silencers who lost their lives-- her daughter's small casket among them.
Since the tragedy, Felicia has taken to spending her afternoons and weekends at the local pub. That cold autumn night still haunts her and she's found it much easier to cope with on her own. She wonders if the voices she's been hearing in her dreams as of late have anything to do with her before-bed beverages, but with a cart of fish to deliver to the festival, she sees little reason not to go. Since her drastic change in temperament, the business has been suffering and she can't really afford not to.

She's read more than a few books about Lake Hylia and the fish that live there. Her knowledge on fish outside of Lake Hylia is quite limited, however.

She typically wears casual athletic wear, such as windbreakers, sweatshirts, leggings, shorts, sweatpants, and tennis shoes. On occasion, she's been known to accessorize with scarves, hats and sunglasses, but that's about it.

Callan is a generally kind-hearted and level-headed person, though at times she can be a bit competitive. Her aversion to the limelight, however, seems to contradict that inherent desire to be MVP in those moments. This was especially true during her time on the varsity girls basketball team. Students and faculty alike were certainly familiar with the name of the rising star of Westlake High School, though she often expended little effort in reaping many of the 'benefits' that came with popularity. In part due to her own insecurities, but for other reasons as well.
Basketball aside, Callan has a clear set of priorities. Once you get to know her, Callan's schedule is an easily predictable one. Her activities outside of school exist within the realm of five categories: sleep, eating, training, TV, and video games (comedies and feel-good shows being among her favorite genres). More prone to following instructions, she might like to think of herself as down to earth, but Callan is more of a dreamer-- as well as extremely trusting. To a fault.
As a result of her upbringing and love for television shows and the heroes they depict, Callan has always thought very highly of the Precursors. She's had little reason not to. Living in a large, well-protected city like Atlanta, Callan would readily admit that she hasn't experienced much loss in her life. Seeing death and devastation on the news, Callan was always able to turn an optimistic eye towards the Precursors-- viewing their victories in lieu of tragedy.
Callan isn't necessarily an unhygienic person, but she does have a tendency to keep her space in a state of disarray. She's also got a gross habit of nibbling the ends of the cords of her sweatshirts when she's bored. Internally, and in spite of her desire to use her newfound abilities in a noble and responsible fashion, Callan does occasionally fall subject to more selfish aspirations. She is eager to please those she is close to and, at times, overly concerned with her appearance. She can be impatient and has a tendency to avoid or sometimes not even acknowledge the existence of her problems-- the stress of which sometimes rears its head in the form of subtle nervous habits.

"Heroes aren't born, they're made...."
Callan has lived in Atlanta, Georgia all her life. Growing up, her family was very religious-- stemming mainly from her mother's side. It was her father's side of the family, however, that Callan had always been the closest to-- especially her Grandmother. Holidays with her parents and 14-year-old brother, Dom, were more frequently spent there as a result of familial tensions.
Since she was little, Callan has always played basketball. From expensive club teams to gear, her father ensured that she was prepped for success. Though they weren't a remarkably wealthy family, money never seemed to be an issue when it came to basketball. She possessed a remarkable talent for the game, dominating her position as a power forward and regularly leading her team to victory with stats no college scout could overlook. A promising future which would never come to pass-- though Callan has done her best to view it as more of an opportunity than a curse.
Cal discovered her powers one day after school. Fortunately, nobody was home when she lost control of her ability. Her childhood home in the suburbs was completely torn apart. Neighbors called the police right away and Cal was sedated before causing any real harm to anyone. The insurance company even agreeed to cover the damage. Or so she was told. With a tearful hug, Cal said goodbye to her parents and brother-- unsure of whether or not she'd ever see them again.

A Girl and Her Shadow
Cal has super strength, agility, resilience, speed, and balance. She is able to lift semi trucks with relative ease, dodge or take a bullet without it penetrating her flesh more than half an inch or so, run up to 40 mph, and balance on the tip of a lamp post without batting an eye-- "the perfect soldier" as someone once told her.
All of that changes, however, when her shadow suddenly crawls out of the ground and takes on the form of a large, black stag-like creature with antlers, glowing white eyes, a long, whip-like tail, and razor sharp claws. The shadow is stronger, faster, and far more resilient than she is. She currently has absolutely no control over the shadow creature when it takes form and can't really control when it is summoned either. It tends to most consistently appear when Cal is gravely injured or experiencing extremely negative emotions (something that thankfully doesn't happen very often due to her level headedness).
When the creature manifests itself, Cal loses all of her enhanced abilities. Due to her lack of control, she prefers to avoid summoning the shadow stag monster (so far nameless) at all costs.
Maxed out and without her suppression cuff, she can PULL appx. 132,000 lbs.
Upgrade One : I Can't Do This Alone...
Cal can summon and partially control a small part of her shadow... to an extent. So far it's just an arm/claws.
Upgrade Two : Don't Run Away
Using a what are basically the equivalent of invisible, elastic reigns connecting herself to the shadow monster, Callan can partially control it. Most notably, she can send it back into her shadow when she wants.
Upgrade Three : The Ultimate Tool
Callan can now manifest Misery as a weapon without losing her superbuffs. Even with her superstrength, however, the weapon is very heavy for her to lift.
Upgrade Four : Flight or Fight
Misery can now manifest wings and fly-- Callan cannot.

A six year old Cal sits two feet from a small box TV on the floor, huddled up in a blanket and chewing on the collar of her shirt. The rest of the space surrounding young Cal is cold and shrouded in thick fog. She is alone.
Her face is illuminated by the glow of the TV screen-- Cal sees herself on the screen, fighting tooth and nail, trying to kill a vicious monster. She watches as her blood splashes across the pavement. The monster lunges at several people with smooth faces except for wide, open mouths. Earsplitting screams ring out from the speakers. Superhero-Cal tackles the beast again... and again. Finally, the beast succumbs and Cal is left standing, triumphant. She feels an overwhelming sense of accomplishment.
The smooth-faced people crowd around her. Screaming becomes cheering. The screen is overcome with static. She sees her six year old self scrambled up to the TV, playing with the buttons frantically-- trying to get it working again. She stops and turns to face Cal-- acknowledging her for the first time.
"Can you help me?" she asks.

As the little girl continues staring at her expectantly, Cal hears the crinkling sound of a bag of chips being opened behind her. Turning around, she sees an area of fog clear to reveal the cushiest couch she's ever seen. She sees herself sitting on the couch with a bag of chips in one hand and a remote in the other, sprawled out on with a coffee table brimming with snacks laid out before her.
The TV screen is a 60" at best, displaying the same monster as before-- only this time there is no one stopping it and the people's faces are smooth except for only eyes. The speakers are silent. With each swipe of it's claws, the people and buildings vanish until the monster stands before a smooth, empty world. The monster becomes Cal and with a wave of her hand, trees and buildings of her own design spring up out of the ground.
The Cal on the couch shifts her position and pats the couch-- beckoning Cal to join her.

Makoto lived alone with his mother in an almost equally quaint little town far away from Hishiro. The youngest of three brothers who had long since moved away to find success, Makoto worked hard to ensure his mother, who was getting on in years, was always happy and comfortable. His father passed away before he was born and his mother worked hard to support Makoto and his brothers throughout her younger years.
In spite of the unfathomable amount of love he has for his mother, one would never guess Makoto had a loving bone in his body. He is cold and distant. Between school, work, and chores, Makoto made little time in his schedule for friends. When Ms. Tohru's letter came, Makoto was on the brink of tossing it into the trash before his mother excitedly plucked it from his hands. Admittedly, Makoto had been struggling to keep up with his schoolwork. Money was tight and his mother was too frail to work. Things such as homework and studying often took the back seat in his efforts to keep everything afloat.
His mother insisted he go, having always loved Makoto's magic. He was her only child to inherit his father's magical qualities. She felt he should improve his talents and not squander such a grand opportunity. Makoto was stubborn as ever, but could not hold his ground against the desperate urgency in her voice. Reluctantly he agreed on the condition that he be allowed to send her money once he found himself a new part time job in Hishiro. The next morning, bags in hand, Makoto hugged his mother goodbye and stepped through Ms. Tohru's portal.
𝙼𝚊𝚐𝚒𝚌:
Shapeshifting - While Makoto can transform into just about any animal with enough concentration, he is particularly talented at three. The first being a simple tabby cat with gold eyes and a coat comprised of light brown fur with sections of white around the paws, face, and tip of the tail. Makoto's second transformation is that of a brown and white border collie, though it is perhaps a touch larger in size than most collies tend to be. Finally, his third transformation is a small brown fox sparrow donning white feathers on his chest and belly and wings with a reddish hue. When shape shifted, Makoto is unable to fully understand or communicate with other animals. Makoto must also be wary not to remain in any given animal state for too long or else he tends to lose himself.
He once fell asleep as a cat one night and, upon waking up, immediately headed for the backyard to hunt mice. By the time he realized what was happening, he was extremely late for school and still struggling to come out of his previous mindset. One poor girl fell victim to his feline urges as he rudely reached across her desk and swatted her pencil out of her hand in the middle of a test. It was tremendously awkward for everyone involved and Makoto has since been quite adamant not to repeat his mistake.
Wren is a shapeless and wiry little thing as a result of malnutrition and years of relentless tree-climbing. Her eyes are a deep shade of brown, appearing almost entirely black at first glance and her skin is lightly tanned (beneath the layer of dirt that so often coats it). She has thick, untamed eyebrows and even thicker raven black hair that is unevenly cut just below her chin.
Wren is rarely seen without her handcrafted tiara of carefully chosen twigs, adorned with an old broken broach that rests on the center of her forehead. Though a lovely (if somewhat crude) headpiece, the ornament is typically half hidden by a choppy curtain of side swept bangs as well as a large, pointed hat. The hat is made of sturdy fabric, once likely belonging to someone quite practical. Now in Wren's possession, however, it seems as though it has seen better days. Thus is the tale of most nice things belonging to Wren-- namely a thick cloak with slits (to accommodate the massive backpack she carries around with her), boots so tattered that they are scarcely held together by a few strips of old, discolored clothe, leather leggings with several rips and tears, a ratty old tunic and a terribly abused fur vest.
Wren’s love for collecting pretty things comes through in the many trinkets adorning her person. “Pretty”, in this case, being as objective as Wren is discerning. The nearly flawless skull of a young deer and a pair of small antlers tied with twine drapes over the front of her bag, clinking and clattering wherever she goes. Also of her own design, a string of small bones, smooth and interestingly shaped rocks, and tiny, milky white crystals hangs around her neck. She is a creative soul, using only the finest of feathers to braid into her hair while using those less perfect for restocking the short skirt that peaks out from under her tunic and cloak.
Wren’s presence doesn’t only bring with it spectacular visuals and auditory delights, however. There is no single word that perhaps does the olfactory assault of her nearness more justice than “strong”. Her scent is very earthy with the undertone of pungent body odor that tends to occur when rain water and occasional dips in the creek during the warm months is one’s only association with hygiene. Her finest saving grace are the flowers and herbs she collects and decorates her hat with regularly. Rosemary, thyme, sweet woodruff and sage all serve as a mostly sturdy mask. They also happen to compliment Wren's floral arrangments quite well-- which, of course, is what's really important.
History:
To most villagers living near the thick Balwyn Forests, Wren began as a rumor. A phantom, an imp, a witch. An evil, mischievous thing that would steal your belongings and slip a razor sharp claw between your ribs the moment you weren’t looking.
The truth is far less mystical.
Wren grew up in the woods alone. For how long, nobody knows. Even Wren tends to have a difficult time recalling the order of events. Calendars aren’t very commonly found in the woods—nor are helping hands. Wren learned quickly that animals and the elements are rarely ever on your side (as she had once heard in so many fairytales). Even so, in her younger years she relied heavily on her imagination to combat the harsh truths of her world. She would never surrender control, she decided. Before long, the forest was her kingdom and she, its ruler. Anyone else was either a trespasser or subject—neither of which she was very prone to trusting.
She has since done away with such childish fantasies, coming to better understand her place in the world as well as society. Still, old habits die hard and Wren is still Wren. She will never surrender control.
Brief Personality:
Wren is a young woman of very few words— both figuratively and literally. Though her vocabulary is limited, however, Wren is very opinionated, stubborn, and will not hesitate to look down her nose at anyone she deems 'odd'. Given the longevity of her estrangement, she has had yet to meet a single person for which a different adjective was even necessary. Even Amelie is a poor example of an exception.
Wren is very crafty. Wood whittling and jewelry making are only a few of many hobbies she took on during her life of solitude in the woods. Her ability to create was certainly essential when it came to trapping meals, but she prefers crafting animal figurines and necklaces to such practicality. Still, a girl's got to eat. Sometimes, however, food tends to run scarce.
During such times of need, the mulishly sovereign Queen Wren concocted a way in which to obtain provisions. Trade. And with the value she placed on her many creations being so ridiculously high, a humiliatingly unfair one at that. Over the years, she has come to acknowledge the fact that a few of her trades may have tipped a bit in her favor, but by then her theivery methods had become more reliant on habit than sense.
Emotional Bond:
The tale of Wren and Amelie began in much the same way as any person trying to bond with a stray animal. For over a year, Amelie was nothing more than a source of food and the occasional sock. Over time, however, Wren reluctantly began to feel for the girl. In spite of her best judgement, she found herself tormented by feelings she hadn't felt for anyone but the vague recollection of a mother that often made her feel sad and uncharacteristicly alone on dark and stormy nights. It was grudging at first, but eventually Wren's visits became more frequent and she found that being in the company of someone like Amelie suited her quite well.
At the present, Wren is very protective of Amelie (though she still often struggles with flighty tendencies). Amelie is reliably her very best and only friend. In a way, she feels as though the girl is hers. Always there whenever she chooses to hang around and never too far behind when she decides to wander.

Fighting Style:
Whenever Wren's dirt and tiny bone riddled appearance is not enough to deter any who dare cross her, she is most reliant on speed and stealth. Never having ventured very far from her forest, she knows it like the back of her hand. Her size certainly helps when it comes to fitting inside nooks and crannies. And although small she could certainly out climb just about anyone. Other than that, Wren's only defense is her trusty whittling knife. It has served her well, but has rarely ever been used in actual combat. Her commitment to avoiding human contact is most likely to thank for that.
Aside from the occasional scuffle with a territorial animal, Wren has no outstanding combat experience.

Weaknesses:
Once caught, the amount of brute force required to overcome Wren is exceptionally small. Additionally, Wren is easily stumped by complex problems, puzzles, and large words. This almost always results in swelling frustration for Wren, but more importantly can cause a fatal break down in communication as she often has a hard time admitting when she doesn't understand.

Name: Trap! Function: As the eloquent name chosen by Wren suggests, this ability traps an enemy in place by summoning powerful roots from the earth. The roots wrap around what ever part of the target is closest to the ground, though they cannot reach anything past 3 feet. Wren's roots can spawn within and pierce through solid rock, granite, and wooden floor boards, thus enabling her to use the ability in less likely places. The range within which Wren's target must be is 25 yards. The hold only lasts 5 seconds and can only be used as quickly as a 30 second interval will allow.
Name: Fix! Function: Wren provides Amelie with the ability to draw energy from plant life in order to heal injuries. When cast, all plants within a 5 yard radius instantly wither and die. The effectivness of the healing depends on the amount of plant life available. Wren is only able to cast this spell on Amelie. Wren must wait 2 minutes before she is able to use it again.
Name: Sharpen! Function: This spell works in tandem with Amelie's gear. It summons rose vines that wrap tightly around the gear, enveloping it with red, white, and pink roses as well as sharp, slightly larger than average thorns. The vines will stay in place for up to ten minutes, although broken or dulled thorns will not regenerate. Wren must wait the full 10 minutes before she is able to recast the spell.

- Wren is picky in all things other than food. Anything that is edible and doesn't taste poisoned is good in her book. - Wren thinks she's really cool. Like... really cool. Her ego allows her to be very easily manipulated. - Although Wren loves to sing, her voice is audaciously mediocre. Not bad, but certainly not as great as she thinks she sounds. - Wren knows two songs. She'll often sing variations of the tunes, inserting words as she pleases if bored enough.
