[IC] The Roar of Heaven : End of the War {private}

Varia just frowns and backs away from Gabriel as he yells. And then asks about HIM.

She clenches her fist. "Azazel. He's power mad and he desired the only delicate red rose left he has not yet blackened." She didnt know how to describe it any other way. "Raphael always said I was the most treasured with my voice..." She half smiled at the thought back to how it all was when they sang together and loved one another dearly.

"Azazel scared me." She explained with a worrisome look about her face. "He came to me, drenched in blood. I healed him as it was my duty. I sang for him, soothed his warring soul. Ever since then he had desires for me." She paced the room. "And that was very unbecoming of Michael's Right Hand."

She tortured herself as she went on. "I was not yet Raphael's Left Hand. That was my mother. Iridonia. When she told Azazel he was not to go near me and taint me with blood, he raged and he..." Varia couldn't contain her grief. She closed her eyes and heard her mother scream as Azazel ripped off her wings. She could only project this image into Gabriel's mind as she could not bring herself to say the words.

"He...is a monster." Varia stopped. "You think I don't understand how much it hurts, Archangel?" She turned to him with anger. "They all called you a coward you know! Raphael was the only one who did not!"

"as sad as the image is, you do not know of my pain or how bad it burned into me." he said finally before he huffed and looked at her slightly "Because I am, I left heaven and I do not intend on going back. There is no reason for me to come back toa place that doesn't need grace anymore too corrupt to even want it any more" h said sadly and ears perked slightly hearing the low scream and his head shot to the left "NO RAPHAEL" he raced out of the house seeing the flaiing star and snarled shifting into the lions form and shot into the sky and caught the archangel who was beaten to a pulp and placed him down.

"come on Breath" he growled lowly as Raphael only made pained sounds as the archangel reached up and touched gabriel's lion nose and looked at him. gabriel's eyes smothered with tears as he looked at the archangel placing him on his back and trotting to the house sharply and shifted human form "Get me water, bandages and some of the healing alio in the cupboard" said slowly to the female as he placed the hurt archangel down and took his shirt off and sighed seeing the wounds knowing they where done slowly and tormentingly. he sighed as he looked at them all and hung his head.

"if you are still with me father give me something, a sign something, something to go on something" he said as god sent none yet but he would when things got worse and worse for the world. gabriel took the stuff from the girl and started to heal and bandage up the hurt archnabgel.

Rapheal groaned softly as he was blind his eyes torn and scratched unable to see anymore. "I know your there Gabriel" he said softly

Varia did exactly as the Lion said. She always did what was asked of her. Even demanded. She devoted everything to her family. But seeing Raphael like this pained her more than she could take. Her strength grew weaker each day.

She could only watch with tears in her eyes as Raphael was blinded and reached out for his brother, she prayed so hard right now. She had no place left to run or hide.

She ran out of the house to get some air. Looking back, feeling such rage never felt before. First her mother and now Raphael. They really had gone too far. She swore she'd never sing again after entrancing Azazel so easily. And now she feared she was the reason for Raphael's tormented state because she had not returned with the monster.

"I keep on fighting against God in such a dirty, cruel place. My right arm is full of scars and I've devoted everything..." Varia sang softly as she looked up at the sun, hands held together tightly, hoping Raphael would heal.

Gabriel started to heal the wounded archangel his eyes shut tightly foucasing harshly on healing the world went away and it was just him and rapheal and hearing the small voices of children and his eyes sprung open as raphael muttered "the war will be upon earth soon, the heavenly gates shall break gabriel, humans will suffer more and more, nothing can stop michaelk if you do not help" he rasped softly as his wounds healed and he sat up stiull unable to see. gabriel grit his teeth.

"HOW RAPHAEL HOW ! I am just one angel against the entire kingdom of heaven I can't stop them" he said sadly and weakly but raphael shook his head standing up forcing himself to stand.

"You are not one angel Gabriel, god made you like him fused you with himself to bring peace once more. You might be one archangel but you got the voices of a thousand armies and you got the power pf god beside you. YOu are the Lion of god and all knees shall bend to your name gabriel all knees even if they should be snapped with force they shall bend before the roar of the lion. You can stop the war you just got to start beliving in yourself and the world can be safe once more" he said softly as Gabriel grit his teeth.

"I can't I can't trust myself I can't even look at my brother Raphael ! I left I left because I couldn't face the death and hardship that was taking over heaven . I can't stop a war" he said softly and ashamed.

"Then all is truly lost if you belive that. " Raphael said slowly eyes narrowed slightly as gabriel sighed softly and stood up shaking slightly still.

" then i guess I should go back to heaven and stop the war huh?" he asked slightly as raphael blinked slightly with his blind eyes and nodded. "Yes...you should gabriel, your the last chance we got at stopping this war"

Varia listened. She heeded the words spoken by Raphael. She returned to the room where they were.

"You are not alone Gabriel. I am here to help. I may not be an Archangel or special. But I'll stop Michael's Right Hand." Her eyes fiery with determination.

"No matter what." She vowed as she knelt before the Divine Lion to pledge her loyalty.

Gabriel looked at her slightly "you kneel before no man songbird. You will not kneel and pledge allegence to any one" he said slowly helping her up . He turned and walked through the house and came to his room and stood infront of apicture as he sighed softly "I hope I can" said as he packed up his stuff and sighed softly "Alright we shall sneak into heaven at dark only the seraphim walk in heaven during the dark of the night" he said knowing no seraphim would give him away. he looked at raphael shifting into a lion form and breatehd on his face as his eyes fixed.

"You have opened my eyes brother so i have opened yours as well brother" he said as raphael looked at him and then hugged him fericly "I'll be rooting for both of you and May god's wisedoma nd grace help all of you"

Varia smiled at Gabriel's kindness, the whole room seemed to light up with her beauty and grace. The wilting rose slowly regaining her strength.

But before she departed for Heaven, she hugged Raphael tightly. "Raphael. My teacher. And my Father." She held onto him tight. He was the only one she had left now. She treasured him more so.

"Go my Songstress of Hope. May your songs bring grace to Heaven once more." Raphael kissed his two first fingers and planted them on her forehead, like he would a daughter. She bows to him in respect.

Varia turns to Gabriel. "Ready when you are, Divine."

Gabriel nodded slowly as his wings shot opena nd they flew up sharply his wings only flapped twice as it was night and he came to the kingdom and passed the gates and his heart broke seeing the blood and darkness everywhere. he came to his home, gods palace itself where no archangel entered unless invited. he landed with her and sighed "hold onto me and do not let go" he said as he placed his hands on the door and shut his eyes. The god eyes snapped open his heart burst with joy feeling gabriel there and the door open a light shined in a voice called out to them

"Come in my children" said the creator as gabriel nodded as he walked in with her as the doors shut and he walked through the halls and came to the kingdom and looked at the place, it had not changed still as bright as before. he came to the throne room and enetered, jesus, mary and God stood there .

God walked forward slightly "g-Gabriel my dear child" he said walking forward as jesus stood up as well as Mary. gabriel looked down slightly "I am....home to help end this war but i need help" he whispered softly. God looked at gabriel and touched his forehead.

"My child you have all the help you will ever need" said softly looking at them as Gabriel nodded slowly as jesus walked forward slowly looking at the girl slightly.

Varia held on tight to Gabriel, she did not let go of the Lion. She felt overwhelmed by the presence of God's joy. She bowed her head to Jesus and Mary. Many a song she sang to their glory and hope to the world. Her burden was to spread Raphael's peace across the kingdom. She hoped her voice reached them even here when God was empty without Gabriel.

Here she felt empowered by righteousness. Still holding on to Gabriel's arm.

Gabriel and god talked and he nodded as he was allowed to stay in his old house near the forest. He leads her there and opened the door and coughed at the inhale of dust "great to know they left this alone"

Varia looked around as she followed him to this forest. "Where are we?" She asked with wonderment. "A lowly angel of my stature has never had the graces to see all of this." She remarked as she feared her time to fight was soon upon her.

"The lions birthplace" he said as his wings flapped to make the dust get off the furniture. He smiled as lights came on.

The angelic healer smiled as he did. "You were born here. I see. King of the Forest." She chuckled lightly, she liked Lions. And now dogs too. "Earth really is a wonder. I don't blame you for staying there." She looked around the house and blew some dust off an artifact.

"Yeah hopefully Nome of the army shall pick up ony arrival" he whispers softly looking at her as he walked through the house and stopped at a picture of him and his brother but he was much younger then a small lion cub was in his hands

Varia follows the archangel and as he stopped at the picture she smiled at it. "You were very cute." She admires the little fuzz ball.

"Hopefully, with any luck we are in God's domain after all..." She never dreamed she would be allowed to be here. But the moment would be fleeting and soon, she would face her nemesis. The fear growing within. She had to give into her emotion now, her anger would be the only thing to keep her alive against one of Michael's.

"be careful young one anger leads to darker feelings . i won no fights with rage and anger. I won them using the power the was the only one that could stop Michael, Love. Its not like hugging a foe and thinking its alright its forgiving their darkest deeds and knowing even deep down there is life" he said as he looked at her. "Only true angels can pull off such a amazing merical true blood angels can lovw without reason and will never draw a blade"

In Michael's camp

Michael was asleep but his dream became fweird as he walked into the forest and froze seeing high on the rock of god standing the golden lion. his eyes snapped open eyes huge "no" he rasped dashing out to Azeral and slammed into his room "GET uUP they are in heaven" he snapped sharply eyes glowing with furry of a thousand soilders

Varia closes her eyes. "I know. But I'll gladly give my life for ending this war so that the suffering and darkness ends." She looked away, she knew what she had to do, her strength was not forgiveness or love. It was taking the fall - doing what needs to be done. "The Light will always prevail." She hoped her light would be strong enough to overcome the darkness, Azazel's darkness, Heaven's darkness.

Azazel immediately heeded Michael's words and flew fast to the forefront of his forming legion.

Varia turns around and sensed an oncoming storm. If she had to surrender to Azazel to make him leave the war alone then so be it. "In the grand scheme of things, my life means little without a Heaven in which to live."

The male looked at her "You need to relax first off and learn that not all wars should be taken so seruously. Besides there was never a better time for some good old pranks to be given"he said as he walked outside and smirked gently as he walked around in the fprest beckoning her to follow and walked acround the forest and came to a bridge "This is the portal between worlds and this will be where I make a stand you shall be there as well as you are not giving up to no man. You got to learn that sacrifing yourself for a war was not a good way to go" he said slowly as he looked at the portal and then hears sounds "come along to the house once more" jhe said as he shifted lion form and stood on the rock outside of the house "You are staying in there and not coming out under no cercamstance understand I shall deal with it" said slowly to her inn a way showing he meant it. he sat there before the house and saw the legion come closer and snuffed slightly. As they got withina yard he stood up and the legion stopped sharply in their tracks and he looked at them "Azeral show yourself now " he said sharply a snarl came from his lips sharp and dangerous.

Varia nods at her elder and listens to his words carefully. None had ever told her not to give up to no man. "I'm sorry, Gabriel. Forgive my brashness. I will trust your judgement." She goes inside the house and although feeling like a helpless coward she knew it was for the best.

The legion parted and Azazel walked slowly with loud thuds with each step. "The Divine Lion. You should not have come back. This war is no place for you. And now you have earned Varia's death in doing so." His blade drawn. "Michael is not pleased." He states with a coldness.

Varia closes her eyes and breathes in deep.

"You are not worthy of being an angel war bringer" he snarled slightly as the legion froze in their tracks . the lion stood his voice was sharp and great "you will not be killing anyone . only thing you'll kill is yourself in your thirst for blood" he said gruffly stepping forward and looked at him his mane puffed out sharply. He stood there ready to fight off Azeral if he must a massive gust of wind and the lion looked up and grunted as he was kicked in the muzzle by michael who landed sharply .

"GABRIEL you coward" he snapped as the lion snarled deeply eyes narrowed "My how you two soil heaven and all its grace and gifts" he said sharply

Michaels eyes narrowed "You should remebwer well after Lucifer fell we made a law that all angels that left can't come back-" he was cut off as gabriel snarled deeply sharply.

"do not resite me laws I was there when it was written" snapped at them sharply fangs bared. Michael eyes narrowed "you dare not break a law, you know its final" he said sharply. Gabriel growled deeply eyes narrowed deeply his mane puffed out slightly but he knew Michael was right and even laws couldn't be broken unless a deal was made.
