Oh, I completely agree with you @fij707. I think it's important to get everyone on the same page about the zombies. We should have a link to the symptoms and facts in the first post on the IC thread, I think. It would help!

If I recall correctly, @Desire mentioned that the zombies are also very hard to kill. Even lopping a head off doesn't work - the body functions, the head functions. The lifespan of these zombies happens to be about 3 to 5 years, though I'm not sure what affects their life span. Even after they die, I think the virus is still active in the body. So no touch. Bad touch.

The only way to destroy them is by burning them. The way to become infected is through liquid and any orifice on the/your body.

That's what I recall from the discussion last night!

From this, I know if my character ever had a zombie fall on them, she'd have a very slim chance of surviving. *sad trombone*

By they way, is post order most definitely a thing? Should I wait for Dirty Dan to post in before I go?

@tigerchuffs Actually destroying the brain is killing the zombie (which you'd have to go through the human skull, a very durable piece of human structure. Or decapitation, but the head would still be active) but burning the body is the only way to get rid of the virus entirely, even if dormant in a dead zombie. But the rest is pretty spot on. I can compile some zombie info if anybody wishes (I have a book. It's professional cx)

Momentum, body weight, physics. It's not that hard to cause enough blunt trauma force to cause enough brain damage to kill someone. Especially when slamming something's head into the corner of a hard object, and from the layout given of the building, the door is right at the corner of the building.

I dont know much about the math behind it, but pretty sure if diving into a 5' pool can easily crack your skull, ramming one into a wall with all your bodyweight can too. A zombie isnt smart enough to use its arms to soften the blow like a human...

@The Wanderer Crack. As in not crush. There's a difference. I cracked my skull open before getting rammed into a concrete statue. It cracked yes, but it was hairline and my brain wasn't demolished. I was 8 and bleeding from my skull, but I got staples, I was good. (Running around the hospital dripping blood everywhere, mind you)

In order to kill a zombie, the skull has to be crushed and the brain destroyed. By pulling on a zonbie's hair and ramming it into a brick wall, unless you're extremely strong as in Olympic weightlifting, you'd probably only crack the skull. Injure, yes, but not dead.

If you grabbed somebody head and put it into a brick wall, would you completely crush their skull?

I'm not trying to fight, honestly. I have no problem with anybody, I'm just trying to be logical and fair. We can't make zombies this easy to kill, or what's the point of getting weapons if you can kill them all unarmed like that with ease? It's survival, not L4D slaughter.

Again, just my humble opinion. The GM is the boss when it comes to these things but I'm just stating what I personally know and understand. Trying to help, not argue to death and piss off people xD I hope everybody understands
