First off, as a note, currently lost access to net at home and have been pilfering some else’s until Sunday night. I have little to no idea if I’ll have net access within the next week so I can’t promise a reply during that time and not fully certain when I’ll be back. So if you don’t hear from me for a week or two, know I will be back! Alright, on a second note.
These shot attempts would empty his reminding magazine into the man's direction, something the man wouldn’t know because Jacer finger didn’t pump the trigger for a third shot. He wanted to cripple Shugtil, not kill him and the bastard would know it.
- From Shades of Gray, last paragraph.
I want to apologize now because I just reread my posts, and realized I never specifically mentioned what type of rounds were in Jacer’s magazine at the time IC or OoC that I can see. Which I’m a bit surprised you didn’t ask as you can see my inventory in the OP and notice the only magazine with 2 rounds in it are the splicers… I quoted the section that implied he had only 2 rounds left and the only magazine with 2 reminding rounds are the splicer MASS rounds as mentioned earlier. I ended up forgetting it while writing the posts, despite my damnest to keep details straight and I’m usually pretty good at that. Now I have a feeling if you had realized that, you wouldn’t allow the graze due to scatter shot damage as I wouldn’t have due to the damage it can cause. Since it was my mistake and lack of clarification, we have three options we can compromise with:
- Let the 2 bullets shot be normal rounds and be outside the listed inventory within the OP I have, meaning you can add two bullets to your total reserves as well.
- Allow an edit to avoid the bullet and allow me to empty out the splicer reserves, which was my intention originally. Splicers mimic buck shotgun shells which means their target area starts off focused then spreads out with distance a bit, trading power for impact area. It’s also the only MASS bullet designed specifically for killing.
- Allow me to switch the number of the splicer rounds and one of the normal round in the OP, something I much rather not do.
Personally, I prefer option 1 mostly because it merely gives no advantage to either of us and just adds two bullets to each other’s inventory. It also makes the least amount of IC chances over all, if any. The magazine Jacer had just fired would be empty as intended and no flow is lost. Either way, I figured I would ask your thoughts since this isn’t a competitive fight. If it was, I would've asked a Judge to determine the best options. Anyway, I'll have my post up tonight or tomorrow depending on your answer. >,<
I have a lot of IC to catch up on during my absence.
