Nope, nothing comes to mind. Oh, I alerted Kirra to this being restarted incase she's interested still. @Apokalipse
Now, to think of Amelia's weaknesses and strengths.

I'm down for it.
The Republic of Magic is the governing body of the United States of America’s wizarding community. While it is called the Republic of Magic, it is actually a democracy. In colonial times, it might have truly been a republic, but the government has shifted slightly. However, because the government has not officially been stated as a democracy, the name remains to be the Republic of Magic.
Yeah alright. Just gonna bring Masked Commie Wizard in for the third time.
Also, a bit of a nitpick, but:
<Snipped quote>
It'd still be a republic. State power is held by elected officials rather than by a ruling monarch. A lot of republics tend to be democracies due to the power being vested in the people (who then vote in the officials).

YES! Relationship sheets ROCK!
Also, let me know if I need to change anything, particularly regarding Echo's parents. I wasn't sure what positions you wanted in the Republic of Magic, so I just went with the ones in the Ministry of Magic. If you think it's too powerful or too different from what you had in mind, I can change it. All I wanted was to establish that her parents were powerful, wealthy people.
Name:Echo Celeste Halcyone

Best Class:Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Potions, Divination
Echo seems to be gifted in the classes that would be considered the most 'mystical', for the lack of a better word. She loves using her wand and making magic, making Charms her favorite class. She also had an interest in tarot cards, fortune telling, and things of that nature even as a young child, so Divination is fascinating to her. Defense Against the Dark Arts sparked her love of dueling, leading her to participate in that club. Potions is another 'witch-y' thing. She may be horrible at cooking, but at least she can brew a decent potion!
Worst Class:Transfiguration, Muggle Studies, History of Magic
One would think that transfiguration would be Echo's strong suit, but she just can't seem to get the hang of it! And she considers muggle studies and history of magic boring.

"...What?"
Personality:There's just something endearing about Echo that makes you want to hug her tightly.
She's such a sweetheart. You see it in the way her entire face lights up when she laughs, the striking blue eyes that crinkle with her serene smile... Echo has a certain charm about her that people seem to gravitate towards. Her energy and her bright laughter is simply contagious, and when she steps into a room, it lights up. Echo loves making friends with people, and is rather successful at it! She's simply a lovely person and always seems to know just the right thing to say.
Echo is a natural silver tongue. True to her namesake, she loves talking. The true daughter of a politician, she has a way with words and is often successful at convincing people to think her way, or do what she asks them to do. Combined that with her charming delivery? Echo has the makings of a politician. Interestingly, she didn't inherit her parent's aggressiveness. Quite the opposite--Despite the fact that she's took up her father's ability to charm people, she seems to bend over backwards to get people to like her.
Echo is quite insecure. She's constantly second guessing people's opinions on her, and she doesn't feel validated if she's not acknowledged and loved. She needs to feel included, sought after, and needed. She does a very, very good job about hiding this, but behind that serene smile often lies a turbulent mind. Yes, she genuinely loves people, and she loves all of her friends with her entire heart. But is one of the reasons she has so many friends because she needs all of that validation? Does she like helping people not because of the smile on their faces, but because it makes her, not them feel good? She has no idea. Questions like this plague her mind. Echo wants to be a good person, she really does. She fears that deep inside, she's not a good person and that scares the crap out of her. This is evidenced by her boggart--her own self.
Echo is essentially an echo of who she could be because she's so ensnared by her own insecurities.
So she covers it up. The more she feels insecure, the brighter she shines. After all, all that matters is how other people think of her.
Echo loves music. That's why she's in choir. She can often be heard singing and humming as she goes about her day. Her lilting soprano can be heard echoing (geddit? cuz her name is Echo. Hahaha I'm so funny.) through the halls. While she hopes that it's not annoying, it's a subconscious habit of hers to hum now. There's constantly a sort of melody in her head. Maybe she'll try her hand at composing one day.
Echo also has a very snarky side, riddled with sarcasm and sass. The more comfortable she is with you, the more you see it. She loves teasing people and poking fun. She also has a rather mischievous part of her that would love to prank people, but she's too timid!
As the daughter of two prominent politicians, Echo never really had learn to go without. You don't see it immediately, but as you spend time with her you begin to realize that nothing she owns is outdated. She has the newest books, broomsticks of the highest quality, fancy potion bottles with pretty tops, and her clothes look like they were bought straight off the runway. Due to her wish for people to like her, she tones down her rather spoiled thoughts quite a bit. But if you go shopping with her, it's apparent that she doesn't think too hard about money.
Interestingly, Echo was nearly sorted into Good, due to her political parentage and her uncanny ability to garner support. But her harmonious attitude and desired to be loved determined her sorting into Tituba. She doesn't mind, blue and white are more her color anyway.

"SURPRISE!"
Biography:Echo Celeste Halcyone was the only child born to Titus and Belladonna Halcyone. Titus and Belladonna are both high-ranking members of the Republic of Magic. Titus is the Senior Undersecretary for President Oppenheimer (Basically Umbridge's position in the Ministry of Magic), while Belladonna is the head of the Department of International Magical Cooperation (Barty Crouch Sr's position). Such prominent positions in the Republic come with wealth and fame. Echo was born into a life of luxury--and relatively absent parents. They were both so busy with their jobs that Echo was largely raised by caretakers.
The rare occasions that they had a day off were the days that Echo lived for. Her nannies would always tell her that 'if she was good, her parents will come home.' And that's how the goody-two shoes came to be. Her parents were brilliant, talented people. Therefore they had high expectations of her. Echo is a very bright person, but every accomplishment raised the bar even higher. This and the absence of her parents is what caused Echo to be insecure. Did her parents love her, or was she just another trophy for them?
As she went to school, Echo's charm and wit quickly garnered her a lot of friends. She made sure that her reputation was good and that she was towards the top of the social ladder. She was very careful not to make enemies, but then again, she doesn't know if she's successful. She makes sure that she gets good grades to please her parents--and for herself of course. All in all, she's led a fulfilling life at school so far. She's relatively pleased with it. Hopefully, no major changes will threaten her comforting life.
"Excuse me?" (Heard you talking shit)

Nope, I've never been a Sonic fan.
What do you guys think the uniforms would be like?
Regimented, like Hogwarts's, since it is a boarding school, or should it be no-uniform with a dress code? Since it is, after all, an American school. Hm...
Also, I may not have put anything about the house dormitories. I'll have to check over it, if not. But if I haven't, I know what I'm going to be doing :D (Yes, this is what I do for fun. I live for world-building. Sue me.)

You... didn't watch the last few Harry Potter movies did you? Where the hell were the uniforms in those eh? XD
