You can make a bee go to sleep by putting it in a freezer. It'll sleep to keep its vitals stable. Then you can put it in your mouth to warm it back up.

How to make a ninja bee:

• Catch a bee.
• Put it in the freezer.
• Wait a bit.
• Get a non-toxic, black marker.
• Take the bee out of the freezer.
• Color the yellow parts black with the marker.
• Release bee.

Now you have you very own, ninja bee flying around, cleverly disguised for sneaky attacks.

I suppose it's only the males. I doubt female snakes are dragging logs around for no reason; especially when it's two of them.

Koalas do as well if I remember rightly. Some lizards also have a third 'eye' on top of their head so they can sense the light dimming if a bird flies over.
