As the title suggests, I'm looking for someone to play around in the Hobbit-verse with me. I have not read the book, so my knowledge is solely based on things I've learned from the movies and internet searches.
The main reason behind my sudden urge to do something in the Hobbit-verse stems on a weird quirk of mine, and an OC that a friend of mine helped me develop today. It was really hard to try and create an OC that sort of fit into canon, but still fit with what I wanted.
If you want to know what my quirk is, it's that I love characters with wings. As such; the character I've created ( they can be male or female, I can play either gender ), is a skin-changer who can turn into a hawk that is at least 3 times the size of a normal one. That ability became null unfortunately after they were shot with a poisoned arrow; because even after the poison was removed ( whether by the help of your character of something else ), some of its effects lingered and it now hurts too much to change into full hawk form.
My character will have their wings and a smattering of feathers in their hair, on their arms, and on their back. They also retain their bird like eyes which are a very bright golden amber color and neccesitates my character to always keep their face and back covered with a thick cloak.
Now for a little rules.
1. I would prefer this be done over a messenger since I get really anxious about replies. However; I'm more than willing to roleplay via PM, and would like to have a separate PM for OOC so that I can talk through ideas with you without clogging up the RP PM.
2. I am more than willing to play a canon character and will do OCxOC OCxCanon. I don't want to be the only one playing a canon character, and don't want you to be either. So if you play one, I'll play one ( or several ).
3. I'm not very picky with grammar and will reply as long as I can read it, but please refrain from text speak. Typo's are fine, as we all make mistakes, and I don't tend to proofread before I post. The reason being that I just want to get the post to you so you'll have something to work with. After I click ' post ' I'll go back through and fix typo's, things that are phrased funny, or things that need to be re-worded.
4. As listed in the tags, this will be a romance, and I will only accept 18+ partners. I've tried doing non-romance RP's before, and I got bored within the first few posts.
