@AgentArkansas Ken had managed to fall off the top bunk. A pile of blankets and her asleep body underneath. York didn't know this and had gotten up but in his groggy state has tripped over her. The two of them now sprawled on the floor; laughing in pain.

@AgentNevada Ark had walked to the door of Ken's quarters, she knocked..... but there was no answer, just the sound of quiet laughter. Ark opened the door and found York and Ken laughing and rolling around on the floor. Ark didn't know what to say, "Am I interrupting something?" Ark said snidely.

@AgentArkansas York stopped laughing and got up, after switching his shirt he got up and left, brushing past Ark. "Morning to you too..." Ken groaned from the ground, sensing the tension coming from Ark. She stood up, tossing the blankets back onto her bed. Casually changing out of her pyjamas into her usual training clothes; black shorts and a 'project freelancer' tee shirt.

@AgentNevada Ark didn't mean to be as rude as she was, she was still getting over the sparring event and it was taking longer than expected. Ark was just waiting for Ken to get ready and then they were going for breakfast. Then there was an announcement from the Director "Agents: York, Carolina, Maine, Nevada, North Dakota and Arkansas, report to the Bridge". "Well i guess we had better hurry" Ark said worried that she wasn't ready.

@AgentArkansas Ken groaned and threw on her runners, "Shall we?" Ken gestured to the door, and walked past Ark. Stretching her legs as she made her way to the Bridge. She walked in to see everyone looking rather tired; aside from Carolina of course. Ken grinned at everyone, lingering slightly on the tallest... Maine.

We walked down the hallway towards the bridge. Ken and Ark walked into a crowd of familiar faces, we all looked dead inside and that was probably half true. Everyone walked into the room and stood at attention in the presence of the Director. "At ease soldiers" he said with a smirk on his face. All the freelancers surrounded the table containing all the information for the assigned mission. The mission was to steal alien artifacts, well that sounded easy enough, but of course nothing is easy here at project freelancer. The artifacts were in the rebels possession. Ark glanced at Ken to see what she thought about it.

@AgentArkansas "Let's kick some rebel ass!" She said with a smirk, waiting for the signal to head off and grab her armour. She glanced at Maine and winked, "First one to beat 40 guys wins, loser buys the first two round of drinks?" She could see the taller one think about it before he responded with a happy growl.

Ark rolled her eyes, Ken and her competitions. The Director assigned us teams, "Team A will be Agents Nevada and Arkansas, Team B will be Agents Maine and York and finally Team C will be Agents Carolina and North Dakota". And with that we were dismissed, Team A's job will be taking out any alarms as well as the comm towers to further augment our discretion.

@AgentArkansas Ken walked off to suit up, coming back out of the locker room in her purple/blue locus armour, the odd smiley face sticker on it. "You ready Ark? I mean if you want.... I can always do this." She didn't want to sound rude or cocky it's just Ark seemed unsure. Ken being herself wanted to make sure the mission went as smooth as it possibly could.

@AgentNevada Ark looked up at Ken when she came out of the locker room in her sage and steel colored armor. "Ya.... let's do this" Ark said half confident and half anxious. Ark knew that Ken could do both of their jobs with ease on this mission but Ark wanted to prove to herself and even Ken that she could handle this. "We're heading to the docking bay now right?"

@AgentArkansas "Yes ma'am." Ken walked off, getting into her usual mission mindset; stretching and losing up. "You ready champ?" She lightly punched Ark in the shoulder as the boarded the shuttle.

@AgentNevada "I'm as ready as i'll ever be" Ark sighed and went to sit down next to Ken in the seats. The ship began to take off and everything was pretty quiet. Ark could hear Carolina and our pilot occasionally talking about our status and our ETA. The ride was actually quite boring other than the butterflies in her stomach that would come and go. After about 2 hourswe had arrived. Carolina said "Okay everyone get into your teams and prepare to jump", that's when that back door slowly began to open and Ken and Ark were the first to jump.

@AgentArkansas Ken grabbed her pack and smirked; Though unable to see it under her helmet everyone knew. With a joking salut she jumped out back firsts, "Catcha on the flip side losers!" And with that she was gone.

@AgentNevada Ark held onto her bag as show dove out of the shuttle after Ken. As the ground slowly got closer and closer Ark pulled the strings on her pack and a small parachute flew out behind her. When Ken and Ark had made it to the rooftop, Ark immediately began studying her surroundings for exits, possible cover and snipers nests. Ark made eye contact with Ken and with that they both ran across the rooftops to their destination. "Ken do you have a visual on any hostiles" Ark asked Ken

@AgentArkansas Ken smirked and whipped out a blade and threw ahead at 'nothing'. It hit a guy in the chest, his invisibility turning off as he died. She pulled out the knife as she continued to run past. She skidded to a halt as they hit their destination. "Ready champ?"

@AgentNevada Ark's mouth hung open inside her helmet "How had she seen that guy?" she thought to herself. Then Ark continued to sprint after Ken, and then slowed down as they approached they comm tower. Then a feeling of dread washed over Ark as she felt a presence behind her and Ken, Ark's muscles tensed as she whipped around to find a group of guards, unfortunately Ark hadn't turn around fast enough and earned a knife to the thigh, Ark hissed in pain and roundhouse kicked the guy away from her. She looked to Ken and found nothing but a pile of dead soldiers on ground and a satisfied grin on Ken's face.

@AgentArkansas She had her hands on her hips, grin on her face. When she noticed the knife if Arks leg she paused "Yo, are you okay?" She noticed a slight bit of blood on her armour. "I can call in extraction early, I can finish up and get back to base myself." She didn't want Ark to injur herself anymore; but she also didn't want to be slowed down or have any of the other team put into danger.

@AgentNevada Ark looked down at her leg and quickly pulled the knife out, in anger she threw that knife in a spiral motion towards her dead attacker and the knife was lodged straight through his visor. Ark bandaged her wound and through gritted teeth said "No.... i'm fine, I'll go with you. Ark didn't want to show weakness in front of Ken, even though she wasn't doing a very good job. "C'mon let's finish this" Ark said roughly, swiftly walking past Ken, trying not to limp to much towards the comm tower.

@AgentArkansasShe sighed and shook her head, quickly sending a message to 479 to be ready to go if needed. Ken followed the pissed freelancer to comm tower, "So what are we doing?" Ken knew what they where doing but she wanted to give Ark a confidence boost.

@AgentNevada Ark glanced at Ken "We have to disable their comm tower so that when Team C infiltrates the vault and when Team B gets rid of any other hostiles, the rebels can't call reinforcements. So you climb to the top and snap the dish off when i tell you too". As Ken climbed up to the top Ark began to mess with the wires and their connectors.
