Ev shivered a little at the touch. Yasmin's skin...it was so soft against hers, a gentle touch that brought warmth to not just her face, but her heart as well.
I...I can't believe I'm doing this. She thought.
"Who cares what they think?" She whispered, her face all the more closer to Yasmin's now. She could see deep into her eyes, lovely shades of emerald that captivated her spirit.
"All that matters is what I think about you, right?" She was thinking of it....in fact...she was thinking of attempting it, going that extra step, for once...trying to make this work...but then...
~"YASMIN AND EVVIE SITTING IN A TREE! K-I-S-S-I-N-!!"~ The guitar amplifier nearby suddenly rang out with a malicious taunt and an annoying crack of static. In a rage, Evelyn rushed over and kicked it, knocking it down and hopefully...knocking the mettling phantom that haunted it.
GRRRR!! Dammit Mimi!! She growled in her mind, clenching her fists tight, but muttered under her breath,
"Fuck..." Her face, if it wasn't red before, it was now, a concoction of both anger...and embarrassment.
"S..sorry..." She turned around frowning, her blood red eyes dimming.
"I...I'm gonna go. Don't want you to be late for class, right?" Evelyn tried to smile, but...it just wasn't coming to her. Sighing, she hung her head down and grabbed up her guitar bag, leaving the music room. However, she stopped at the door, looking over her shoulder at Yasmin.
"So umm...I guess I'll see you later, Yasmin." And with that, she left.
