We totally need a Barbossa to be in the company, I've just decided.
Had there been gunpowder in TES, I'd have totally made pirates all day erry day.

My first and regular TES character was a corsair.
Ye don't need cannons when ye have magic, scallywag
Really, really old TES lore says that High Rock and Hammerfell have gunpowder/cannons.
<Snipped quote by Dervish>
It's not as fun when you can't hang your magic on bandoliers and have a bang and smoke fill the air whenever you magic misshul.

Back when Imperials did not exist, Khajiit were just face painters and Argonians had bustling hair, I assume.
<Snipped quote by Peik>
Yea, pretty much. I know they retconned the Khajiit in Daggerfall to be Ohmes('Raht) but I can't remember what they said, if anything, about the Argonians then.
And Imperials weren't a thing in Daggerfall?
<Snipped quote by Leidenschaft>
They weren't a thing until Morrowind to my knowledge.
Those old school TES games must be such a mindfuck to revisit now adays.
Kinda glad I started off with Oblivion.
<Snipped quote by Peik>
Oh, yea. UESP on Daggerfall races says about Cyrodiil, "It does not sport any one indigenous race due to its geographically central location" or somesuch.

They partially retconned that into Nibenese and Colovians.
<Snipped quote by Dervish>
They were from a simpler time, back when Upanishad and Crowley influenced mindfuckery weren't an integral part of the game lore.

Same. Got into ES in 2006 with Oblivion. I tried to go and see Morrowind but I didn't play for very long.
Which I think is really cool. There was a r/teslore post about Reachmen and there was a point touched on between ethnicity and cultural ties. The guy broke down the man races and one thing I've never taken into account is that Colovians are partially inspired by the Lombards, being the more rugged and "Nordic" of the two, while the Nibenese are those from the Eastern Mediterannean, like Greece, with their myriad cults to different Gods.
Likewise. I own Morrowind but I can't for the life of me get into it.
I don't like Kirkbride anymore, if not only because the way he writes makes me want to take my brain out because it doesn't work after reading anything he writes.
It just sounds like a schizophrenic rambling, really.
@gcold What does a Bitch fuck have to do with anything? Ёботная пизда... Я переспью с твоей матерью, но только в положении, в котором ты не закроешь свой рот.
Google translate ALMOST understands this right...

Having attempted to read things related to the occult in the past (and some more esoteric religious pieces) I can say that he's doing a good imitation.

I like Vivec's Sermons, just his fucking C0DA stuff gives me a mild stroke.
