Hey, sorry for botehring, btu I have a small question about the dice rolls. So, Tsleeixth got an 8 which meant that while he dispatched hsi enemy without being injured he is unable to try and rescue eitehr Leif or Elmera but -speakign from a story telling perspective- why is that? Is it because they are too exhausted after the fight? Or is it because anotehr enemy engaged against them? Hope the question makes some sense and isn't too bothersome.
gcold is a
big poophead wonderful GM and is doing things slightly different than I did, mainly that he went the extra mile and decided that 9-10 means that that character can do a rescue attempt for someone who rolled a 1-2.
In my little arc, I have it where a 1 or 2 will end up having an additional roll of 5+ being the bad guys move onto another target, and 4 and under goes to finish the job, where the GMs will decide if the situation is fatal or not.
Basically, we all agreed that prior to this, most of the fights had very little stakes; there was no risk or chance of failure. The dice rolling will more or less add this random chance that people can work with, and while there's a real risk to everyone's characters (ours included, just look at Keegan!), it's still low enough that it keeps things from totally shitty dice rolls murdering off a character outright.
As for why Tsleexith or anyone else can't make it to the wounded, all I can really say is that's kind of up to the players to write according to how the numbers land. Maybe he's tied up with something or just too far away to intervene in time.

I did not get a notification for this, but I did post for her and I would appreciate my character not dying in the first fight! :D So yes, please and thank you for the save.
