I think in cases like that last collab where it's covering such a range of time and individual interactions, it could have easily been broken up into individual posts. It would also keep things like the long lull between IC posts from happening.

Agreed. I had mentioned earlier about separating this collaborated into two different parts, but I wasn't sure if that would change the way it would read. However, it is extremely time consuming to write something of this length. I'm happy that a rule has been set now, just so that we can use it as a guideline for now on.

I think a mutual interest to keep it short would be more effective than a hard cap myself. As for the Mafia, I'm not used or partial to that sort of game, so I can't say anything positive.
