Right, welcome to Asgard, aliens have started to invade the planet and our hopes and dreams ride on the girls brought to life that display the characteristics of mecha through gear and several other facets.

As it stands, most of the earth has been destroyed and there are only several pockets of resistance left against the Aliens invading the planet. Most notable is the Asgard Initiative, which uses said mecha girls to fight the aliens head on. The roleplay will consist of missions, scavenging and some slice of life interaction on base.

You're all second generation, meaning you're completely new life forms, You may have inherited traits/ a few odd memories/habits from your creators, but they're not you.

I'm trying to make a mech based on Nanotechnology, but its not easy to balance at all. :( More so because the only weaknesses would be weak armor, high energy consumption, weakness to fire or electricity or the like.

Not to the extent I'm thinking of. I'm thinking of a mech made entirely out of Nanomachines. Which means they can make almost any weapon much like the aforementioned series I listed. The downside of this is that it also means the mech would ALSO have some scary regenerative abilities and the other terrors of Nanotech, IE, Mass can be converted to other mass a-la FMA. The problem is I'm more interested in the regenerative ability and make its combat more melee based and ranged weapons can only be used at a severe energy cost or if an external power source is used. But I'm not sure if you think thats ok or not.

Their weaknesses would be basically whatever it took to kill that terminator in I think the first movie? You know, the one who was made of liquid metal. Either that or a kill code.

The One That Killed The Death Star

Name: Masaki Akimoto


Unit name: "T-65 X-Wing"

Universe of unit: Star Wars (Original Trilogy/Episode 7)

Casual wear: Masaki usually wears a white and/or red top, a short black skirt, along with black leggings. Her hair pins are usually red spheres, only wearing Rebel insignia pins during battle.

Gear: Just like in the movies, the X-Wing is a starfighter, complete with four 4L4 fusial thrust engines and has two pairs of wing-like strike-foils, or S-foils, mounted at the rear of the craft on opposite sides. The foils on each side locked in place flush against each other; during combat, however, the foils were folded out to increase the spread coverage of the laser cannons mounted at the tips of the foils. This gave the craft its distinctive "X"-like appearance when viewed from the front or rear. When firing torpedos, an ANq 3.6 tracking computer is installed, giving Masaki advanced tactical imagery to target, aim, and launch the torpedoes. This tracking computer has a success rate of 98.7%. It can go up to 1,050 kmph, or 652 mph.

Weapons: The X-wing carries four Taim & Bak KX9 laser cannons along with dual launch tubes for proton torpedoes. Other warheads, such as concussion missiles, could be fitted as an alternative secondary weapon, but takes slightly more time to put in.

Defenses: The X-Wing lacks in defenses, but makes up for its incredible speed, however it comes equipped with light deflector shields to repel weak blaster fire. Another add on is a mini repair node that comes in the shape of an astromech droid, and its even colored blue like R2-D2. It can repair slight damages weather landed in a docking bay, standing up right with Masaki, or even fighting high in the sky.

Universe of unit: Neon Genesis Evangelion

Casual wear: Usually she wears a white sweater, a dark grey tank top, and black jeans when not in combat.

Gear: Eva-01's armor is mainly purple with numerous glowing green details throughout its body, along with shoulder pylons. Other components are colored golden yellow, gray and black. The diamond-shaped shoulder parts of the armor also glow. Its distinctive helmet, with its prominent horn and oversized chin, makes the Eva dinosaur-like in appearance, almost evocative of the Ceratopsidae family of dinosaurs. The Core of the Eva, which provides the main source of eternal reserve power, is located in its chest.

Weapons: Eva-01 usually carries a wide assortment of weapons at her disposal. Stored in her left pylon, she can whip out a progressive knife, which is basically a slightly bigger, sharper, and more durable pocket knife. She can also wield pallet guns that can cause a good deal of rapid-fire damage, with a gatling gun used to provide even more heavy damage, but is sluggish and harder to move whilst in hand.

Defenses: The Eva's core is protected by both a dedicated black plate and the chest plates of the armor. They have a protrusion on each side of the chest which moves along with the Evangelion, allowing both smooth movements and maximum protection of the Core. The rest of the Eva's armor is balanced, while resisting many types of regular fire and physical hits. However, in dire times of stress, a self-defense mechanism is included to help enhance the user's strength and power, but in exchange of her humanity. The Berserk Mode (also known as the "Dummy Plug"), allows the Eva armor to take control via an additional advanced AI program and battle the opponent on its own with these buffs. The green glowing details will turn red and animalistic growls and roars will emit from it as the program ultimately takes control. Yuno has no control over its actions, so its a rather risky program to trust, let alone rely on, only used in dire situations. To make the AI stop, either let the energy die out, or shock/hack the program to make it stop.

Oh, I thought they were robots like Mega Man with brainmapped AI from actual people or something like that. Not Cyborgs. Though a nano cyborg is possible in the future like Deus Ex, except the person could regenerate everything including brain matter. Now the question if its the same person or not is an entirely different discussion.

But I wasn't expecting cyborgs.

But they're cyborgs you said, not pure robots. There are no 'hybrids' like your suggesting, those are just cyborgs or bio androids depending on what you mean exactly. And ofc if you want a bio android, people can just be Cell from DBZ at that point.

Yeah, it would be nice if things were more clear. What was your character idea? Mine was Nanobots which basically allow you to make a 'cartoon' powered robot more or less, minus the portable hole.

Right, as for their creation, the only thing that's known is that these nerds get hooked up to a machine via a helmet that constantly monitors their brains and thoughts. Then inside the machine, the girls are "printed" so to speak.
they are essentially artificial people. Not vat grown, but they have flesh, muscles, feeling in all parts of their flesh being (and dependant if you want them to have, even in their metal as well). However, their flesh is tougher, their muscles stronger ans senses enhanced. their blood runs black, one of the major denotations that they're not exactly human. They (again, depending on their creator's mind) may or may not have ports and places that their armor, weapons, gear in general would attach to them at.

My apologies, it's been upwards of a year since i've ran an rp, but i have a good feeling about this.
