Biography

Marion Giselle Seara made her triumphant arrival into the world at Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles one June 10th seventeen years ago. As the only daughter of Zack Seara and his wife Ilona, Giselle was raised in a very wealthy and extremely privileged household in the exclusive suburb of Bel Air, where she was given anything she ever wanted and more: having as normal a childhood as one could given her financial status. Academically, Gigi was just like every typical school student: getting a medley of A’s, B’s and C’s. Her social life, on the other hand, was the one thing she truly excelled in.

The cheerful, energetic blonde had always been an easygoing, extroverted girl with many friends and acquaintances, which meant her schedule was often occupied by parties, friend dates and such. But upon arriving at high school, the partying became frequent, and her idea of ‘fun’ grew wilder. Gigi took a particular liking to weed and acid, and her late-night escapades landed her in hot water with her parents. In an attempt to straighten her out, Giselle was sent to Santa Catalina School, hoping that the strict, catholic administration would be able to steer her in the right direction. But the Searas would add yet another loss to their list when Gigi was expelled from the school after being caught heavily making out with one of her classmates inside a confessional during an illicit end of the semester party at the school’s chapel.

In one last, desperate attempt to tame their wild child, Zack and Ilona had sent Giselle to live with her aunt and uncle in Ohio and attend Liberty High with her cousin Richie. As much as it broke their heart to tear their little girl apart from them and the beach she loved so much, they believed it was the right decision. And even after the news that the Liberty children would now be enrolled in the significantly lower-class, public institution that was Rosefell High School, the Searas’ resolve remained. They hoped her uncle Warren would provide the firm yet present and guiding hand Gi needed, and her aunt Kole would provide first-hand knowledge and guidance on the possible consequences of her actions.

Would this attempt be successful?

That was the million dollar question.

► Brief history:

From the moment Camila Fernández had gotten her hands on the keys of her Lancer on her sixteenth birthday, the young woman had taken to the streets the countless hours spent on the track with her mother April and grandfather Jamie (a retired Formula 1 racer). Sometimes, she’d do it for the money. But the rest of the times? It was to simply relish in the rush of adrenaline she got when speeding down the streets of South Beach, bask in the satisfaction of beating her opponent, and glow with pride at her every victory. At age nineteen, La Diabla’s name had become a staple of the underground street racing community of South Florida. She was a rising star, a little champion-- and she was thriving in her fast-paced lifestyle.

Enter Devon Williams: the fellow racer who stole Mila’s heart the second he laid eyes on her the night of their first race against each other. For six beautiful months, the two had shared a relationship filled with adrenaline, excitement, and plenty of affection. Devon was everything she’d wanted in a guy: smart, charming, funny, with an easygoing attitude and her same devotion for living life to the fullest. Most importantly: he loved her just as madly and deeply as she did him. And for the first time ever, Camila was certain that she had finally found the person she wanted to spend the rest of her life with.

And then the sting happened.

A raid during one of the races revealed an unexpected, hard truth to swallow. Turns out that Devon Williams was actually Detective Leone Deveraux: an undercover agent assigned to infiltrate the underground street racing scene. He’d not only fooled their entire community, but had also taken advantage of Mila and their relationship to gather the information that was constantly being sent back to the authorities. Naturally, upon hearing the news, Camila lost it. She ran away from her safe hiding spot behind some bushes and lunged at the man in front of a multitude of his fellow cops, earning herself an arrest for disorderly conduct, assaulting a police officer, and resisting arrest. Although she was booked and processed and spent the night in jail, Leone had no intentions of pursuing the case, and thus the charges were consequently dropped. But because the leftover heat of the sting operation was still hot on her heels, the young woman decided it was best to leave Miami for a while.

Maybe distance would help her forget the name and face of the man who had so cruelly broken her heart.

“My name is Tatum Elizabeth Paxton. I am seventeen years of age-- eldest child of Tate and Stephanie Paxton’s three offspring. I was born on 28th of January of 2002, when my mother was only nineteen and actively hiding from my father, whom she had eloped with in Las Vegas straight out of high school. See, their story wasn’t exactly like the ones you would find in a Nicholas Sparks novel. My parents’ relationship was, by all means, incredibly toxic: filled with endless screaming matches, many infidelities, countless broken promises, and the inability of these two lovers who so desperately loved one another to express their emotions in a productive, positive way. Thankfully, I wasn’t around for the worst of it.

In my father’s defense, Tate always made sure that my mother, myself and eventually my sister were not just taken care of financially, but utterly spoiled rotten. Unfortunately, I knew that this was his way of trying to compensate for his constant, painful absence in our lives. I was around and aware enough to remember the many times my father disappointed me and my mother. I lost count of the amount of times I had to put on a brave face to not break my mother’s heart even more than it already was pretty early on in life. But even then, Stephanie Paxton never once spoke ill about Tate in front of me. Instead, she always made a point of reminding me to never stop caring for my father, to always remember he was a human who made mistakes just like the rest of us, and to not be quick or harsh in judging him. One day, she said, I would come to understand the reasoning behind his actions. When that day finally came, she wanted me to confront it with an open, forgiving, and very loving heart. It was the least he deserved.

And she was right.

On my thirteenth birthday, my father sat down with me and told me every detail of his life story. It was a very emotional conversation that I hold dearly with me to this day, and one that reminds me of the importance of having a forgiving heart. Yet as much as I love my father and no longer hold any resentment towards him, I still found it quite difficult to trust him. He’d been doing well on keeping his word for some time now, but I couldn’t help the way I was always on edge and skeptical about anything he said or did. So when he and my mother communicated to my sister and I that he would permanently move in with us to try and be the family we were always meant to be, I was nervous. Instead looking forward to his arrival, I started looking up information about the best boarding schools in the State, and building my case as to why I should attend each one. Why, you might ask, did I want to leave my home just as things were starting to look up for my family and I? Well, the honest answer is that I really didn’t want to be around if Dad suddenly decided to pull another Houdini act on us and disappear again. I knew my heart wouldn’t be able to take it.

I think that, deep down, my parents also knew I needed the space. It took very little convincing on my part for them to see . By the time I graduated from middle school, I was already enrolled to receive my high school education at Marble Heights Academy. I’ve been a student here since my freshman year. I’m about to embark on my senior year journey in a few short weeks.

And dad?

He’s kept his promise so far. They’ve somehow managed to make it all work, and I’ve never seen my mother and my siblings so happy.

Maybe, just maybe, this means I can stop worrying so much about everyone else and focus on trying to find my own happiness instead.

► Brief history:

The winter after their sixteenth birthday, Archer Diedrikson and Marisol Castillo had left the beloved white sands and clear waters of their beloved Palm Beach behind to explore what it was like to have a White Christmas away from their parents in the snowy mountains of Washington. Their experience at Second Horizons camp had been a favorable one, in which the two teens not only built more friendships of their own, but also reconnected and spent some quality time together away from their other friends and the trials and tribulations of home. In fact, Archie and Mari had enjoyed camp so much they made it their mission to attend a few more times, which they did for the following two years as seventeen and eighteen year-olds. Once they became college students, though, it became harder for the two friends to be a part of Second Horizons. 🌹 She is the youngest child and only daughter of Colin Brady, CEO and Founder of Watchdog Security, and his wife Marlena Castillo, CEO of the international beauty company Castillo Cosmetics.

On May 2nd, inside a hospital room in Palm Beach, Camila Rosalba Fernandez was born to Saniago Fernandez and April Foster just a month shy of their high school graduation. The imminent arrival of their daughter had put an end to the on-and-off dynamic they had shared since freshman year, solidifying it into a serious, exclusive, committed relationship (a first for Mila’s father). While Santiago chose to follow what would become a highly successful career in the Army and was off to basic training after Mila’s first birthday, April decided to postpone her studies for a year to care for their daughter. Eventually, the child’s care fell onto the hands of her very willing grandparents; what with her father being shipped around the world deployment after deployment and her mother attending college and eventually becoming a prestigious mechanical engineer. With her abu Gabriela, she learned to embrace her Puerto Rican roots. And it was with her grandpa Jamie, the retired Formula 1 racer, where Mila’s undying love for racing cars began.

Fast forward to her teenage years, and Camila was already living up to her father's old reputation. She had his same obnoxious cockiness, his same fearless attitude, and his same penchant for throwing the biggest, loudest, wildest parties in all of Miami. For her seventeenth birthday, Mila wanted to go all out. She'd taken advantage of Santiago's latest deployment and April's work conference to throw the bash of all bashes-- Project X style. What she hadn't counted on was that her mother wasn't at a work conference, but was picking up her father at the airport instead, and they were hoping to surprise her with the news of his deployment ending earlier than expected. When the Fernández' arrived home, the party was in full swing: loud reggaeton music blasting through the sound system, people dancing in the pool, playing beer-pong in the dining table, having sex in the bathrooms… And atop the kitchen counter, dressed in a skimpy bikini and grinding with her boyfriend at the time, was their little Camila.

To say Santiago and April were livid would be an understatement. After kicking everybody out, they gave Camila the biggest scolding of her life and threatened her with everything: canceling her credit cards, giving her Lancer back to the dealer, shipping her off to military school, and so on. In the end and after some research, her parents' verdict was to send her off to Marble Heights Academy for her last two years of high school… without her EVO.

It had been a tough transition at first, being shipped off from one corner of the country where you knew everyone and everyone knew you and to a place where you were a nobody. But Camila didn't let this bring her down. She was determined to prove her parents wrong, and took advantage of this new blank slate to explore new opportunities. Thankfully, her time at MHA had proven to be nothing short of amazing so far. And now, in her final year of school, she wanted to go out with a bang.

When it comes to Camila Fernández, the young woman doesn't have much to hide. She lives by the saying real hasta la muerte, and real to death is exactly what she is. Biography

Elaine Lancaster made her arrival to the town of Edenridge at fourteen years old, after her parents had decided to leave their previous Boston home in search of a more quiet, safer place to raise their only child. During her first few weeks at Edenridge High, Lanie struggled to find her place among the local kids-- the majority who had known each other one way or another since they were in diapers. It was only after making the school’s cheerleading team and being taken under the wing of queen bee Alison Davies that Lanie finally felt like she belonged. Her sunny personality and cheerful disposition helped to expand her network of friends and acquaintances, and soon enough the blonde reached popular status at the school. All in all, everything seemed to be going well for little Lanie… Until the fateful night her big sister Ali-- as she affectionately called her-- departed this Earth.

As incredibly sad and heartbroken as Lanie was, she refused to give herself too much time to dwell about what had happened. She knew Ali wouldn’t have wanted her girls to spend the rest of their high school careers lamenting themselves over things they couldn’t change. Instead, Lanie chose to honor her best friend’s memory by swearing off from drugs and volunteering to assist her peers in keeping up with their school work if they ever fell behind. This decision eventually led her to the arms of Mordechai Boaz, who became Lanie’s first love. Their torrid romance was nothing short of a rollercoaster, but the two of them were too stubborn and enamoured to do anything other than fight for their love. Eventually, the Lancasters opened up their home to Decky and his brother Danny, and the three teenagers coexisted in harmony. The young couple matured and grew stronger with every day that went by, and they spent many hours dreaming about the future they would build together. But, of course, fate decided to play one of her endless cards of cruelty yet again. This time, however, it was poor Danny Boaz and innocent classmates the ones who had to pay the price of an unhinged pariah. The victims of Charlie’s rage extended far beyond those injured. Even those who had survived it physically unscathed like Lanie did suffered the consequences of being entangled with those who hadn’t.

Finding out about Decky’s unannounced departure on top of everything else was the breaking point for young Lanie. All the grief, guilt, sadness and despair that had plagued her since Alison’s death and tripled after the shooting bubbled up to the surface, erupting into a full-on mental breakdown that resulted in Lanie being committed to the mental wing of the local hospital. It was during this time that she bonded with fellow classmate Roddy Callahan, someone who she had only known in passing in the years prior. After she had recovered from her episode and the school reopened, the cheerleader volunteered to make sure her new friend didn’t fall behind the rest of their class. Their study/therapy sessions slowly blossomed into the sweet romance that would eventually climax in the untimely, accidental conception of their daughter Rylie. As awkward as was the prospect of having a child with someone you barely knew, Elaine and Roderick somehow managed to make it work. Their relationship strengthened with time, and for a while it seemed that everything was starting to fall into place. Unfortunately, it seemed that Roddy had demons that no amount of love and reassurance from his girlfriend could fight off. A few weeks before she was scheduled to start her first semester of college, the young man had decided to end things. With her heart broken all over again, new mom Lanie chose to follow her parents in moving back to another suburb in the big city with her daughter.

These days, Elaine Lancaster has no time or interest in pursuing anything other than her social work degree and the care of Rylie. She hasn’t regretted having her baby or Roddy being the child’s father, but oftentimes wishes she had no meaningful, significant ties like these to such a cursed town like Edenridge.

Biography

When the first Irish immigrants traveled to the new land in an attempt to escape the harrowing famine overtaking their country, Boston became one of the most popular locations for their reestablishment. Out of innumerable families who had crossed the ocean in hopes for a better life, four of them founded what would eventually become the small town of Edenridge: the Callahans, the O’Briens, the O’Haras and the Clearys. Caitlin Cleary was born on May 23rd of 2000: the third child of local pub owner Gary Cleary and his wife Deidre. Growing up as part of one of the founding families of town had its benefits, but it became more of a hindrance than anything else as Cece grew into her teenage years. Everyone either knew who you were, who your parents and siblings were, who your uncles and aunts were, who your grandparents, and great-grandparents, and every relative were. As a Cleary, an expectation to bring pride home was set upon you at birth: after all, your brother, father and grandfather had brought football and wrestling state championships to town, your mother had been a prom and pageant queen, and your sisters were softball, soccer and track and field stars. Meanwhile, Caitlin was content with being the invisible sister-- staying on the sidelines to cheer her siblings on and fading into the crowd as much as she could.

Concerned about her daughter’s limited exposure to social interactions when compared to her siblings, Deidre encouraged the shy redhead to try out for the cheerleading team, hoping it would help develop the girl’s social skills further. Surprisingly, the Cleary matron’s plan was successful for a while. Caitlin was accepted into the squad, and she blossomed into a confident, outgoing, popular young woman; always making it a point to be careful to not reveal too much of herself. But after some time, Cece slowly began to retreat back into her quiet, introverted shell. She hardly smiled anymore, faked her extroverted behavior just enough to keep people from worrying, and used focusing on academics as an excuse whenever she couldn’t put up the farce. Her attempts at keeping the mask in place were successful, and she was able to cruise by without issues.

Caitlin had been driving her mother to a specialist doctor’s appointment out of town when news of the shooting reached them. They desperately raced back home, impatient and terrified to hear from their loved ones. While the Clearys had been lucky that none of their clan had perished or been injured, the families closest to them hadn’t been as fortunate. The Clearys rallied around the town during the difficult time, becoming an integral part of the town’s consequent healing process.

The events that transpired that day provided Cece with the perfect excuse to further isolate herself-- which she took full and complete advantage of. She quit the cheerleading team and dove headfirst into her schooling. Using academics as an escape eventually proved to be a smart move for Cait. The redhead graduated in the top percentile of her class, and she was accepted into a majority of the schools she applied to. Out of the seven letters she received, it was Boston University’s acceptance into their Pre-Pharmacy program the one that stood out the most. She’d be able to further her education at one of the country’s top universities while staying close enough to home in case of emergency.

Caitlin began her undergraduate studies at Boston University in the fall of 2020. Her college journey was off to a great start: she did well in her classes, made a handful of friends, and even allowed herself to entertain a date or two just to have something to talk about when she returned home. Unfortunately for the Clearys, Deidre’s health took a turn for the worst that summer. As soon as she was finished with her summer course, Cece made the trek back to Edenridge. Against her parents’ wishes, she decided to put her studies on hold and stay home to be by her mother’s side indefinitely. She knew she would never be able to live with herself if she didn’t.

Natalia Belmonte made her arrival into the world the eve of Independence day, eighteen minutes before that of her twin brother Danilo. As the fifth daughter of the family and the one to have shared a womb with the only boy, an outsider looking in could interpret it as a disadvantage. But it was precisely this what shaped Natalia into the disciplined, tenacious young woman she was today. Having four older sisters to count on whenever faced with life’s turmoils certainly helped her navigate through life, and her healthy rivalry with Danny served to fuel her competitive nature and fierce spirit. But ever since she was a child, the blue-eyed girl was determined to set herself apart from the rest of her siblings. She wanted to be the best at everything she did: be it academics, athletics, or even little things like decorating gingerbread houses or carving Jack O’ Lanterns. Luckily, she always counted with the reliable presence and immeasurable amounts of support from her family. She attributes part of her life’s successes to them.

Natalia’s childhood went by smoothly, with her time being spent between keeping up good grades, trying out different sports and spending time in the playground with her brother or her best friend Niles Sinclair. She discovered her talent for volleyball at age nine, but fully committed to the sport summer before junior high. Her peers’ attempts at bullying due to the fast-paced rise of her height were short-lived, quickly squashed by hers or Danny’s fists to the point that everyone was quick to understand the underlying message behind the punches. Middle school came with an expansion to her friends circle, and puberty helped her blossom into a tall, willowy young lady. But by the time high school came around, the blue-eyed girl’s life took some of the turns that would define the course of her teenage and young adult life.

Come freshman year, Danilo and Natalia had drifted apart. It seemed that her brother had decided Jillian O’Brien and Caitlin Cleary were more worthy of his time and trust than his own sister, so the hurt Talia retaliated by completely distancing from her twin. The romance department wasn’t going any better. After years of friendship, Natalia's first love had cruelly decided to break her heart right after midterms, before their winter break of sophomore year. As one would expect from someone who is passionate and feels things very intensely, Talia was devastated. She spent the majority of that winter break locked up in her room, tearfully lying in bed wondering what it was that she lacked for her former flame to have left her. Her mother and sisters had not been oblivious to this, and they were quick to remind the young woman of her value and her place. When it was time to return to school, Natalia dove in headfirst, strutting down the halls with her head held high like she owned the place, ready to take over the world. By the time the school year had come to an end, she had established herself as one of the top players in the Edenridge social ladder. She was present at every cool party, surrounded by her equally cool peers, laughing and dancing and having the time of her life. And by the time senior year came knocking, Natalia Belmonte was undoubtedly the school's queen bee.

By a few strokes of fate, the Belmonte girl had no involvement with any of the previous tragedies that had haunted some of her schoolmates. Unfortunately, when Charlie Decker’s pent-up rage sent him on a shooting rampage against the school that had failed him so miserably, Natalia had won a front-row seat in witnessing his premature demise. With blue eyes wide with fear, and with shock, terror and even guilt coursing through her veins, the dark-haired girl heard the loud, crackling sound of a gun echo across the hallway, and had watched in horror as Charlie’s body suddenly went limp and hit the ground like a rag doll. Blood began to pool around his luscious dark locks, and a girl’s heart-wrenching, blood-curdling scream filled the air. When asked about what she had witnessed, Natalia offered nothing. To this very day, she still refuses to talk about the incident. She had compartmentalized every traumatic second of that moment into a box, which she locked away and kept hidden in the deepest, darkest corners of her brain.

To help her keep her mind off of things and speed up her healing process, Natalia focused all of her time and energy into her schooling and her sport. In the end, her efforts were fruitful. As volleyball team captain, she led the female Celtics to win their first national title in ten years, graduated with honors, and was offered a full-ride scholarship into the University of Massachusetts.

The transition from high school to college was a smooth one for Natalia. As an UMass Finance and Business Administration student, she continued to make her parents proud by keeping up good grades and becoming an irreplaceable staple in the school’s volleyball team. Like in high school, her teammates became her family, and when Talia was pledged into Sigma Delta Tau in her freshman year, so did her sorority sisters. Throughout her time at UMass, Nat hasn’t been a stranger to having a handful of flings here and there with males and females alike. But after the hard lesson learned in her sophomore year of high school, she has become a pro at separating sex from romance, and not allowing anyone to stick around long enough to develop feelings.

Even with the lingering cloud of her mother’s diagnosis not getting any better, things seemed to be going well for the fifth-born Belmonte child. But after the devastating news that Silvia’s health had deteriorated severely, Talia had wasted no time in packing her belongings and returning home. After everything her mother had done for her throughout the years, Natalia wanted to ensure that she could repay the favor in any way she could.

In everyone’s eyes, Alana's as unassuming as a teenage girl can get: jeans, hoodies, graphic tees, sneakers, sweaters, shorts and the occasional tank top. The straight, chestnut blonde hair that reaches the middle of her back is always on the loose, with a straight part in the middle to hide the presence of her rosy, abundant cheeks. Biography

Alana Kingsley was born to Eleanor Singletary on the afternoon of May 17th, product of a one night stand after her community college graduation. Although her parents were never together, Rowland Kingsley made it a point to be present in his daughter's life… As present as a travel nurse could be, anyway. Thankfully, Eleanor had found a stable job at Columbus' hospital and had full support from her family and the baby's father, so raising Lana was a team effort that produced a lovely, respectful, well-behaved young woman.

At school, Alana was thankfully too good at being invisible and blending in with the crowd to be noticed by any bullies. She met her two inseparable best friends in elementary school, and since then they have always been there for each other. In terms of academic themes, Lana is considered a good student, but nothing excellent or out of the ordinary. She also isn’t as privileged as some of her peers when it comes to having their own transportation methods, so she commutes to most places as she continues to save money to afford a car.

Due to the busy nature of her mother’s job, Lani is mostly alone at her place. Whereas people might think this makes Alana sad, it really doesn’t bother her. The few moments spent together by mother and daughter are sweet, fun and fulfilling enough for both women to feel comfortable. In the girl's eyes, even though she misses her mother and honestly wishes they could spend more time together, she understands that what Eleanor does is only for their benefit, so they never have to worry about starving or having a roof under their heads ever again. The busy job also keeps Eleanor from dating, which is a good thing for Lani: the risks of her mother getting a shitty boyfriend that fucks up their lives again is close to zero, and for that she is thankful.

Biography:

Alexandria Davies was born on the fifth of May, the second daughter of Alastair and Renee Davies and the younger sister of Allison Davies. Growing up on the North side of town, people described Alex as a girl who was sassy, bright and full of life, someone who was caring, funny, and a good listener. Being the little sister of the most popular girl in town meant that Lex was well protected from any bullying or ill intentions, and that she was free to do as she pleased because the eyes of the rest of the world were on Allison. Throughout their childhood, the Davies sisters had been inseparable, but their vastly different personalities and Allison’s questionable habits eventually lead to them drifting apart. And yet, at the center of them all, the two girls knew that they had each other’s back. So when tragedy struck in the form of Allison’s death, Lexi was heartbroken and inconsolable.

After the tragic passing of their oldest daughter, Alastair and Renee shifted all of their attention onto their remaining living child. Suddenly, the once forgotten Alexandria suddenly found herself in an unwelcome spotlight. All of her words used in conversation were being carefully scrutinized in search of red flags, and her every action was heavily controlled and monitored in a desperate attempt to prevent her from following her sister’s footsteps. As expected, the Davies’ extreme intentions, although coming from a good place, had the opposite effect on their daughter. Lexi began to lash out, her grades dropped, she engaged in self-harm, and constantly lied about her whereabouts. It was during this troubled time that she developed a transactional relationship turned romance with one Serpent dealer Sonny Cernis, who she would sneak around for and with whom she would meet up at Lyon Park to smoke the weed she purchased from him. It wasn't long before Alastair and Renee found out, and they wasted no time in intervening. Before Lex could process what was happening, she was sent to a mental health treatment facility, and then to a military school after she was released.

Surprisingly, the time spent in therapy, along with the structure and stability of the Massachusetts Maritime Academy proved to be the best thing for Alexandria’s grieving and healing process. The angsty, depressed, lost teenager blossomed into a disciplined, dedicated young woman with big goals and a clear plan to reach them. After high school, Lex enrolled in community college, and two years later graduated with an ARN certification and plans to pursue her BSN.

While on the hunt for a potential employment opportunity, Alexandria received a call from Big Rey Gonzalez. He explained that the death of her sister still haunted him and his son, and as a way of trying to right things they were offering her free board, security, a large salary and a part-time position at Sinclair Health in exchange for her becoming an on-call nurse for the Southside Serpents. A heartfelt conversation was had, many tears were shed, and ultimately Lex accepted the job. So after packing up her belongings in her SUV, 20 year-old Alexandria Davies made the move back to Edenridge.

As their queen, Micte was responsible for guarding the bones of the dead and governing over their festivals. The true story of her origins remains as mysterious as she, but it is believed that Micte was born and sacrificed as an infant, grew up in the underworld and eventually became the mate of Mictlāntēcutli. Together, Mictlan’s rulers had power over all three types of souls dwelling in the underworld: those who died normal deaths, heroic deaths, and non-heroic deaths. In order for the deceased to be accepted into Mictlan, offerings to the lord and lady of death were necessary, and the worldly goods buried with the newly dead were intended to ensure their safety in the underworld. ██████████████████████ 𝐁 𝐢 𝐨 𝐠 𝐫 𝐚 𝐩 𝐡 𝐲   𝐁 𝐢 𝐨 𝐠 𝐫 𝐚 𝐩 𝐡 𝐲 ⌜ м σ я т α ℓ ℓ ι f є ⌟ 💀 When Mictēcacihuātl and her husband were ripped away from their beloved Mictlan and banished to Earth, they found themselves feeling confused and highly upset. Finding out that the culprit behind their misfortune was a mortal, however, only served to infuriate them further, and the couple went on a rage-fuelled killing spree that lasted over a decade. But they soon realized that no matter how many humans they slayed, it would not take them back to their domain, and they eventually resigned themselves to their new normal. Of the two Aztec underworld rulers, Mictēcacihuātl was the one who took things more favorably. The young woman, ever the resourceful and intelligent one, quickly molded herself to the situation, finding comfort in the presence of her husband. But Mictlāntēcutli despised their new reality. He resented being away from Mictlan, in cities with people he didn’t know and languages he couldn’t understand. The man grew more restless with each passing day, in a slow descent into the madness that would drive him to attempt his escape. He bid goodbye to his tearful, terrified wife with a strong embrace and a heated kiss, promising to come back for her before setting off into his voyage of freedom. That was the last time Mictēcacihuātl ever saw her husband again. When the Lady of the Dead eventually received the news of Mictlāntēcutli’s passing, the inconsolable Mictēcacihuātl became a shadow of who she had once been. The spark in her brown eyes had disappeared, her smile was but a memory, and her once proud, arrogant demeanor was reduced to a shadow of itself. Grief had consumed her whole, tearing her down in ways she’d never thought possible. Finding nothing but pain in the sights of her fellow deities-- constant reminders of the love she had lost, Mictēcacihuātl isolated herself from the world, opting to live as a hermit deep in the forests of Europe. For centuries, the Queen of the Aztec Underworld was not seen or heard of except for the visits to the Ambrosia tree. In the 1800’s, Mictēcacihuātl came back with a vengeance. The time away had served to harden her once-broken heart into steel, and had given her a new purpose for her existence. There was a lucrative business in the death industry, she quickly realized. Armed with this knowledge and her previous role in the Aztec underworld, Mictēcacihuātl invested her funds to commercialize death. Under the name Catrina Lara, Mictēcacihuātl created Peaceful Rest Memorial Gardens: a company with nation-wide locations that provided beautiful, well-maintained spaces for buried or cremated souls to rest in peace. As expected, her business had taken off instantly, and had not seen a dip in revenue yet. Not everything was all work and no play for Mictēcacihuātl, though. There happened to be one god capable of breaking down the barriers the Aztec goddess had built to protect herself from any further grief. They had met on the battlefield plenty of times before, and engaged in passing dalliances every few centuries. Eventually, they met once again, and their once isolated encounters evolved into a consistent, passionate and heated entanglement. The more time they spent together, the more Micte felt they connected with one another, and it wasn't long before Mictēcacihuātl found herself falling hopelessly in love with the man. But after nine years, her beloved's free-spirited, partying ways became a became a source of strife on their relationship. His heart belonged to his people-- not to her. And after many long conversations and one last glorious encounter, the Aztec goddess of death and the Norse god of thunder decided their time together had come to an end. Although this was the most heartbreaking blow Micte had received since the loss of Mictlāntēcutli, there was not a lot of time to be spent grieving Thor's absence or the loss of what could have been. 🌷 Lilibeth Diana Easterling was born on February 28th of 1995 to anesthesiologist Edgar Fontaine and occupational therapist Clarissa Fontaine after a difficult seven years of unsuccessful rounds of IVF.
🌷 As the couple’s only child, it was safe to say that Lili grew up utterly spoiled and doted on, but always raised to be the kindest, most compassionate version of herself she could be.
🌷 She began her education at the King’s Academy Preschool at age two, eventually moving up to the main building at the start of kindergarten.
🌷 Met best friends Franklin Bonaparte and Luna Lee in kindergarten, and she stays in contact with them to this day.
🌷 Fell in love with Spike Langley from the moment he arrived at the school during their first day of freshman year of high school.
🌷 A few days before opening night of sophomore year’s spring musical, after sharing their first kiss and Lili coming clean about her feelings towards Spike, the two officially started dating.
