Might be a good way to start the story off, though I'd be interested to see where it goes from there.

EDIT: My only concern is how Gwendolen and Ozymandias' characters would get involved. Any thoughts?

@Lexicon That is my main concern, how to include as many characters as possible. One solution could be have two story lines, that run parallel.

That might work. Also, depending on where Claret starts in relation to the King's bastard, maybe Lady Night could pass through the Heartlands and meet Gwen that way? I don't know. Just brainstorming. Anyways, I'll have my CS finished up either today or tomorrow at the latest. The 'History' section always takes the longest.

I had the same idea, Lexicon, that Claret could pass through the Heartlands. I was thinking that the king himself could brief Lady Night, and send her to the mission. After all, he's Macchiavellian. But we need Sonatina to give his/her opinion about this.

As for my character I don't mind solo RPing until an opportunity presents itself to join in with the other characters. My first one or two posts will be my character preparing to and actually travelling to Brythunnia, so there's time to work something out.

Just need to edit my 'History' and I'm good to go. Looking forward to this.

EDIT: 'History' will be done tomorrow for sure. Too tired to do it now. Happy Turkey Day, all.

The jarl of Jomsborg. He'll be a raider and a warrior archetype, but he'll be written in such a way that he could cooperate with other characters at some point.

She's done! I've also added the heraldry and leaders of all the current Heartlander houses. I figured that, after Lord Hawthorne's betrayal, House Hawthorne no longer exists. Let me know what I need to change. Now, I'm off for family crap. Happy Turkey Day again, all!

@Lexicon I must say, I am impressed, and that doesn't happen too often. I have read Gwen's history, and I think can't do anything else but to accept her to the roster.

Also, as a side note, I'm thinking that the Heartlands probably aren't on great terms with the Crownlands right now. They barely contributed anything to the Northern War, which also happened to be the war that cost Brythunnia its king. Just a thought I had :)

@Lexicon Yes, they aren't. King Duncan is also worried of the Heartlands' state, as he sees Gwendolen Vandemar-Maddox as a potential threat to the unity of the realm. I've updated Aedin's history about the Northern War and expanded the description about Heartlands in the geography section. I'll be updating my characters and other sections tonight to reflect better the kingdom's state.

Which is ironic because she's only been regent for maybe four or five months tops. Also, her own nobles are conspiring against her or, at the very least, hoping she'll marry one of their family members. Of course, the king wouldn't know that. All he would see is an influential, unmarried high lady with the backing of Houses Vandemar, Traven, and Maddox. Misunderstandings and miscommunication seem to be the currency of choice in settings like these lol.

EDIT: Moved Gwen over to the 'Character' thread.
