I realize that I have typed some unsavory words. I know you've probably already seen them, wish you hadn't. My apologies, that was a side of me that belongs in the gutter. Arguments are commonplace in roleplay and aren't something that should get in the way of maties. I've been in so many disputes that I'm very used to resorting to insults, and I've been trying to cut back on being a dick. I've edited out my greasy rebuttals. One of them was a cocky high stakes match offer. I love ranked matches and steep odds, but not if I have to feel bad all the way through. At the expense of looking *deep, farting grunt of disgruntlement* cowardly, (I know how it looks, couldn't quite totally disavow or ignore the mention of that on account of how incredibly pussy I'd look for posting such a thing and then pretending it didn't exist an hour later... You know what I mean, it's a guy thing...), I'm detracting that offer forever, and have dropped everything else in the name of good sportsmanship. Sorry man, sorry. Didn't really mean to insult you or imply anything. You're a great roleplayer, fun to muck about with.

Hope we can start over and forget all the shit. I'm sure each of us has our own viewpoint about what should happen, but the fact of the matter is that's no reason for anyone to get mean like I did. Let's just agree that it was an accidental clash of reasoning. If you can forgive me, feel free to engage in the interracial shake of quasi-socialist friendship.

I'm afraid I seem to have not seen the next page that your last post created, and thus created my next counter-post over the last hour in the heated nature of the previous argument. Having now seen it after stating those words, I would normally find myself somewhat at a loss for more...except that really, I always have words for pretty much any situation, otherwise I wouldn't have these. That said, I hate to waste a good tirade, and so if you feel like it the one I wrote out prior to this edit is in the hider below, along with my similarly inflammatory response to Vordak in the one under that, which was carefully worded to match yours in spirit. Of course, since we are now in let's end this apology stage, I beg you to please either not view it, or be very careful to view it as past history only, and not the spirit of this new reply.
With regards to the let's end this apology stage, please know that I accept your apology and extend my own in kind. As you have stated your previous words to be unworthy of anything beyond the gutter, I'm deeply sorry for having descended some distance to the same gutter, at which point those words wallowed together in harmonic discord for the last week. Don't worry about any issues either of our argumentative natures may have caused, I am as happy to end an argument peacefully as I am to jump headfirst into one and feel superior to my adversary as I try to conduct my argument in a manner which I find more professional, despite being similarly regrettable afterwards. Also please know that despite the hostile words exchanged on both sides, I happen to highly enjoy arguments and debates of most types, and so enjoyed quite a lot this massive exchange of hostile words. Rarely do I find an argumentative opponent willing to match me in argument length for a long period of time with any arguments that could be construed to have a modigm of sense, thus while the content of this argument is worthy of scorn, there is no need to be worried about my having vilified you in my mind forever, and I hope the same can be said of myself in your mind. Looking cowardly is another thing you need not concern yourself about...as the person who's main character is an assassin-type character who survives by avoiding the match he can't win, running from the enemy he intends to beat, and vanishing whenever the scene looks bad, I can easily say that I bear you no fault either for your challenge, or for the retraction thereof. That said, if you really wanted to have that little contest of skill you challenged me to...at lower stakes...in a friendly manner...then I would be perfectly fine with it... :)
I also feel that one point you made prior deserves being addressed now. You make an excellent point that Cruallassar the character is not really a low-level player, though his use as such stemmed from an insufficient knowledge of what low-level really means. Therefore, I first say straight out that Cruallassar is a mid-level enemy, (though I doubt I will ever have a high-level one) and that due to such, I concede my part of this match, having no right to have participated in it. Though it was fun. And furthermore, your RP ability, despite any insinuations I may have made earlier, is certainly of a high order, (I don't say highest only because I don't know if I know what that looks like, and have seen roleplayers who are probably better than either of us, and not because the sentiment is not present.) regardless of the truth or falsehood of previous statements. I further thank you for your instructive introduction to arena combat, the roleplay crowds I am used to have a policy of asking before assuming, when in this case it is more beneficial to assume, lest their mind's situation has a very different and less favorable turn of events in mind. I am sure this knowledge will be most useful in later RPs.

In conclusion, I will gladly grant you my forgiveness and hope the same can be said of my own apology, and engage in this handshake you invite me to...and I'll even remove the hidden wrist blade beforehand. :)

You know, I planned on looking at your hider and then saying something along the noble lines of how I chose not to read it, all majestic and the like. But that fake out cracked me the fuck up. And whilst we are on the topic of a friendly match, I should like to set the mood for it by posting the character sheet of the one I'd use for a purely entertaining match. You can decide what tier of character he is and what to use.

Physical Abilities/Skills: Physically and mentally, Kentucky Tom is remarkably average. He's no more fit than a man of his age normally is. He is, however, one seriously hardass dickweed who used to be a fast talkin' auctioneer. He has only one special ability, but it is virtually impossible to kill or incapacitate with it. His power is known as "Really Buggersome Affectations". He can inflict nasty effects upon enemies by speaking the magic words of a curse and then pointing and firing a softball sized orb of arcane energy. The speed of the shot depends of the nastiness of the curse. Such curses as "Horndoggums Humprumpus" travel at half the speed of a small thrown object, whilst curses like "Pinkwimpor Buttflamingonum" move as fast as bullets. He can speak at 250 words per minute, about as many as a good auctioneer. He cannot use the same curse twice in a row. The only way to break these curses is to kill him. The known curses he uses are...

*"Impreggio Bitchpleasum"- Impregnates whomever he is pointing at, forcing a baby to be conceived within them. This works on men and inanimate objects. Each subsequent hit halves the pregnancy time, starting at one week pregnant. The baby is ready by week forty. (Mid-Speed)

*"Baldickus Bodilicious"- Instantly removes all the hair on your body. (Fast-Speed)

*"Gayroticus Weinerfestum"- Turns the victim gay. (Slow-Speed)

*"Fartilliarum Skidmarkius"- Gives you the messy farts. (Med)

*"Pinkwimpor Buttflamingonum"- Turns your skin pink. (Fast)

*"Retardingus Shitheadellus"- Lowers an enemy's I.Q by one point. (Med)

*"Dirtlingus Shoutloudius"- Forces an opponent to yell out their deepest, dirtiest secret and then proceed to do so again every two minutes. Each time Tom hits a victim with this curse, it halves the time that they can go without shouting. (Fast)

*"Whiteytightus Fucknuttums"- Makes your underwear ultra-tight and uncomfortable. Each hit by the curse makes the ol' drawers get tighter and tighter until the waistband snaps. (Fast)

*"Beardantili Hipsterium"- Gives you a huge beard. Each hit increases the beard length by 18 inches. (Fast)

*"Nudesweeta Bareassum"- Evaporates the target's clothing into an embarrasing gooey honey mist. (Med)

*"Fatassium Bastardus"- Makes the victim obese. (Slow)

*"Lolhardickus"- Forces the victim into an awkward situation the likes of which occur most often to us in the morning. If used on a female, it will materialize the required assets upon her being. (Fast)

*"Pussysobbium Crybabius"- Makes you cry uncontrollably. (Med)

*"Racechangium Laughardiculum"- Changes the victim's race. By changing the first word to "Sexchangium" Tom can alter gender instead. (Slow)

*"Narratium Expositorium"- Forces the victim to narrate their actions as they do them in a deep, dramatic voice. They cannot complete their attack until the end of the narration. (Slow)

*"Smurftardicus Squeakerotica"- Gives you a high pitched helium voice. (Fast)

*"Butthorkus Limporkus"- The victim becomes a transgender drag queen complete with unwieldy high heels and wig. (Slow)

*"Blindorial Nerdwerdus"- Makes you near and short sighted and materializes a pair of prescription glasses onto your face. (Med)

*"Pizzamugums Pubertum"- Gives the victim a load of acne. (Fast)

*"Glasswhackius Buttmunchickus"- Makes you instantly punch the nearest person with glasses in the face nice and hard, even if it is yourself. (Med)

*"Itchums MacGuiness"- Makes you feel very itchy all over. (Slow)

Background: Kentucky Tom grew up in the rough part of town and was constantly harangued by bullies. Why? He had a smart mouth. Shooting off insults came naturally to Tom. He pissed off teachers, parents, drivers, senators, dogs, you name it. He never had much cash, since his job as an auctioneer didn't pay all that well. But then one day, everything changed. He met an old fakir who beseeched Tom to sell an old Porsche for enough money to bail his deviant grandson out of jail. Tom felt pity for the mystic and at the next auction, sold the vehicle for twice what it was really worth. Out of gratitude the fakir bestowed upon Kentucky Tom the power to incur hilarious status effects upon the unwary.

Um...well bloody hell, I have no idea how to react to that. That sounds like a character I'm scared to go up against...when my source heard of the possibility of an un-powered human fight, he just gestured to the array of airsoft magazines next to him and started listing the weapon's he'd bring in that situation. I was thinking military body armor, dual pistols and some knives, and was ready to google martial arts moves and model the effects. Then you show me this. And I'm thinking, I can't think of any character I would possibly create whom I'd be willing to allow to endure such humiliation in the event that you get even one hit in. I concede any match with that character due to intimidation. :)

Death, torture, maiming, psychological harm, crippling, dismemberment, theft of honor or honorable defeat are all things I expect and can deal with...but this goes beyond all that!

Tom isn't unpowered in the least, I was imagining a just for shits and giggles scrap. Unpowered matches to me are serious (cat) business, and our business shouldn't be of the serious sort. It'd be like having double kidney stones. Already got one out, don't need a second trip to the bathroom no siree. I'd still like to have one with your source minus military grade modern weapons though. In my own selfish opinion, with that sort of stuff included it sort of disinterests me. I'm not a COD fan. I'd bite if he insisted though.

I'd be fine with handguns. I'd be very fine with medieval weapons, and especially happy with good old fisticuffs. Is he open to ranked matches?

Heheh, I'll ask him about specifics, but he probably would find no particular difference between ranked or unranked. And as I said, he'd probably want to go through me to actually write up his posts, although he might be willing to make an account to work through, and I am rather ill-disposed towards the idea of losing a ranked battle via being puppeted. Although...that does bring to mind...what about a Red vs Blue style fight? (Here is me assuming you know of what I speak, and intending on making a recommendation if you don't.)

Also in the interests of full disclosure, the source would be my brother, who generally goes by the username Natony_132. And yes, he is an un-biased source, and also my brother...as I said, he is the person I bounce all my fantasy or sci-fi scenarios or tech off of. Two opposing space forces, one of them stationary with a hyperspace inhibitor field and the other coming towards them in hyperspace, having already launched missiles at the first force, and which will arrive at the same time as the hyperspace force, question being whether aboard the biggest ship in the fleet or on a small external buoy is most effective for the end result of the engagement? That is the sort of thing I might bounce off him if I am having trouble formulating my own opinion, or want a second one. Same goes for...well, most of that sort of thing. Or what is the solution for a vampiric monster running into it's underground lair? His answer, tap his mage's cane and compress the whole tunnel network, smashing anything inside to paste. Yeah, he would have had a much easier time against you...Also against me because magical attacks and barriers and whatnot. One of these days I'll have to come up with a roleplay that includes his character...

Would he be up for real time roleplay in a chatroom? Those aren't ranked and can allow for fights to be settled far faster than via the forums. If he prefers mid to high tier characters, then I think I got one for the occasion. I'll admit I'm not used to fights above low tier, but game and chat roleplays are from whence I originated.

As for the real-time chatroom idea...I'm not sure. As I said, he is a bit less of the writer required for most roleplay, which is why he settles for a lot of talk but little actual roleplay. Though again, if he did his actions through me, then the biggest problem would be the time, making sure we are both available at the same time...plus you.
Though that said, I also originate from primarily game-based RP...still do...am doing at the moment...with forum RP added. My old haunt is the best medieval Minecraft RP server in existance, (Massivecraft) with a very large amount of both high RP talent, and critique for getting better. I also am quite active in RPing in SWTOR, and have done a few good RPs in Starcraft 2, and even Halo Combat Evolved a few times. Which is to say, I would be more than willing to RP with you via chatroom, or in any one of those games at any time available to the both of us.

Never watched Red Vs Blue before, is it like a team battle type gig? Seems something like that.

oOOOooooh...it's been a while since I saw another Runescape player. I've been meaning to get back into that...if only they hadn't killed off Guthix...

It is...a bit more than that. It is pretty much THE Halo Machinima, and since season 6, they've used the Halo 3D models to create various scenes like that one. It started with fairly low quality in Halo CE, then to Halo 2 in season 3, 4, and 5. Then in season 6 they switched to Halo 3, and started being far more awesome than before, and have since just kept getting better. Here's a link to their website...they even have it on Amazon video, Netflix, and DVD. Though you can watch it all online. If you want to skip to where it gets awesome, start at Season 6, that is a pretty good point. If you want to understand the full backstory and future references though, you'll have to start at Season 1.
