The smell of blood, as you split your enemies skull open and their brain spills out on the cold ground. The horrifying screams of dying foes the echo around the battlefield and bring nightmares. The roaring of the drums, the deep vibration of the horns, and the freezing scream of the hordes that fills you with power. The pulsing adrenaline that keeps you fighting to the end, no matter the circumstances. Even when you are exhausted, wounded, or crippled, you stand firm and look death in the eyes. Again and again you go out there and fight for the others. You die for the others to win, even if your sacrifice will be forgotten. And when death's cold grasp finally gets you, you laugh and wait attonement for your sins without any regrets.

Any swordsman of the Drakne must pass ruthless tests comparing to those of Sparta, that focus on endurance, strenght, and agility. For someone to be a warrior, agility is what defines your ability to flank your enemy, strength to overcome any defense to put up, and endurance for surviving the harshness of the battlefield. One does not simply become a warrior by training. A warrior is born to fight. Ruthless killing machines that don't raise an eyebrow at the sight of blood rivers flowing through the ground, but remember all of their victims, and respect the sacrifice they put up. Anyone who enjoys killing is not to be a warrior. They train with bows, knives, and swords. There is not a single magic amongst the warriors. Those who do posses such abilities are called the Fallen and are exiled, thought some manage to stay hidden.

But what would happen if the best warriors turned out to be Fallen? If those once banished would return to take back their homeland, with force, without the honor for their own kin, mercilessly seeking revenge. This is the story of the warrior siblings that turned out to be fallen, about a race that falls into darkness as their own bretheren turn on them, and when their only hope is just like the enemy. Like a great man once said: "Where clouds shade the light, and there is no hope to be seen, prayers won't change the world. Desperation is the strongest weapon of all, and the darkest times only leave those to live, who are desperate enough."

Well the blurb has certainly piqued my interest. If you're still looking for a partner, I'd be more than happy to write with you.

This seems pretty neat! I would also like trying my hand at this. It would be a pretty good thing to get out of my comfort zone a bit more with not neglecting action scenes.
