Allegiance(s) / Faction(s): No Faction at present, allied with Assassins [will be updated as the RP goes on]
• Physique: Ottavio’s body type seems to be most close to that of a mesomorph’s, as he gains muscle relatively easily, even though he’s on the leaner side due to relatively unhealthy eating habits (not eating enough). There’s very little on him that isn’t skin, bone, or muscle, and this shows in his ability to take quite a lot of damage before going down, as well as the above average amount of power he can put into a blow in a fistfight. Because of his lean stature, he’s also relatively quick on his feet, although not as fast as some, and he’s a very agile and flexible individual. His pain tolerance is remarkably high, despite his pain threshold being the same as an average male’s, which is due to his even stronger and more stubborn mindset. He is evenly proportioned in terms of the torso to waist ratio, and, overall, his features have a slightly squared quality to them. His face is very chiseled, despite him only being a teenager. His jawline is well-defined and somewhat square, and, consequently, he has a very strong chin to go with it. His cheekbones are of a regular height and prominence, although his eyes are slightly sunken, giving him a somewhat sleep-deprived appearance even when he is well rested, and he has an aquiline nose as well. As one might expect, his features make him seem a couple years older than he actually is.
• Height: 5’7”
• Hair: Ottavio’s hair is a nut brown color, and it’s relatively curly, somewhat wiry, and thick in texture. In terms of length, his hair is relatively short, although this is somewhat of an illusion due to the texture of his hair. If straightened, his hair would likely reach his neck, but, as it is naturally, it’s only slightly overgrown-looking. It’s typically messy and relatively unkempt-looking, and, although he keeps it relatively clean considering the time period, it’s hardly L’Oreal-beauty-catalogue-worthy. He generally doesn’t style it in any way due to its length, and the fact he doesn’t put very much time at all into even keeping it neat. He’s not currently growing any facial hair, and doesn’t plan on doing so anytime soon.
• Eyes: His irises are a medium shade of brown, though they appear a lighter, almost caramel color when exposed to brighter lighting. They typically have a very guarded, cautious, but generally neutral expression in them, and they rarely change in their expression, except when he’s around people he trusts or when he’s feeling an incredibly powerful emotion. In general, he’s a difficult person to read.
• Skin: Ottavio’s skin is a tanned olive shade, due to its frequent exposure to the elements as he’s traveled and practically lived outside. He doesn’t freckle very easily at all, and, for the most part, his skin rarely, if ever, gets sunburned at all.
• Scars / Markings / Etc.: He has picked up a fair amount of scars from his traveling, as well as his very risky occupation, but there are only a few that are worth individual note. One such scar would be a long, thin scar spanning from the edge of his jawline to his neck, the angle of its path at a slight diagonal. He gained this from an attempt on his life, and does not like to speak about the circumstances behind it. A slightly less dramatic and more recent scar of his is a hypertrophic marring on his left leg, which is a 1-2 inch scar that curves in a crescent shape across the front of his left calf. He gained this during a misadventure in more recent years due to stealing from the wrong kind of person, which was an occasion he learned from. He has no other markings of note, and he has no tattoos or piercings.
• Clothing Description: Ottavio tends to dress in relatively low-quality, nondescript clothing, as he not only can’t afford to buy many nice things, but wearing plainer, easily forgettable clothing is optimal in his current profession. His clothing tends to hang off of his frame somewhat loosely, which is yet another characteristic of his dress that he does by design, as it makes him seem all the less attention-seeking. His typical attire consists of a loose, low-quality linen shirt and a pair of dark-colored pants made from the same material, though his preferred (and only) footwear consists of a pair of sturdy, very well made black leather boots that, despite looking somewhat worn, have held together quite well over the past couple of years. All of these pieces of clothing appear to be in various states of wear, and some are lightly stained from having mud, blood, or other such substances on them. In colder weather, or when he’s trying to keep himself entirely anonymous, he’ll also wear a hooded, navy colored woolen cloak, though it doesn’t do much to keep him warm in extreme cold, as it’s rather thin. He isn’t in much of a position to spend money on frivolities such as hats and other accessories, and furthermore, people can be made more memorable by having such things on their person, so he does without any.
• Weapons: His weapons are the only things he has that seem to be of any exceptional value, but even so, they’re not overly ornate or flashy. His primary weaponry would be a set of a dozen throwing knives he keeps in various places on his person, and, while the majority of them are holstered on a relatively high-quality (but quite worn and old-looking) belt he wears around his waist, he also has two hidden in his boots, one holstered in the back of each shoe in compartments that were specifically hollowed out for them. They all are of the same design, and the blades are made from spring steel, while the hilts are a medium steel coated in brass for decorative purposes. The pommel of each small blade is flat and round, but both the pommel and the hilt sport rather ornate engravings depicting fictional, peaceful scenes of the Italian countryside. His secondary weapon would be a relatively plain falchion made of more or less the same materials as his throwing knives, save without the brass coating. The pommel of this particular blade is somewhat curved, and was forged into a rather detailed likeness of a falcon with its beak opened wide, and the resulting extra ‘sharp’ points of the falcon’s beak gives the blade yet another advantage in combat. The falcon’s eyes consist of a pair of polished lapis lazuli, which are the only precious minerals present in any of Ottavio’s weaponry, and they are firmly set within the falcon’s skull - they’re practically welded into the metal, in fact. Aside from an inscription written in block print Latin running along the ‘duller’ side of the blade, there are no other decorations on this particular weapon.
• Gait/Presentation: Ottavio moves at an unassuming but relatively fast pace, and, although his stride is average in terms of its length, he moves a bit more briskly than the usual person does. His posture is generally quite poor, as he seems to have a preference for slouching when out and among others, giving himself an air of an average lower-class citizen, and this is the result of a ‘blending-in’ tactic that became a default. He tends to try and make himself as unassuming as possible in most situations, however, and, when in crowds, he has learned how to adopt their pace and their posture when the need arises. Despite this, he still gives off the air of someone that ought to be left alone, and his manners are far better than that of the average member of the working class - although he has lost some of the charm and poise he once held when had been living a ‘higher’ lifestyle.
• Accent: Emiliano
• Habits / Quirks: Ottavio has a habit of cracking his vertebrae and neck when he stretches, although he only does this when he’s feeling overly tense or tired. He also tends to avoid eye contact with others when speaking, and frequently speaks in a quieter tone than the average individual does, not out of shyness but from his own inner suspicion and paranoia that he might be overheard and his desire to go as unnoticed as possible. It’s worth mentioning that Ottavio has picked up a rather colorful vocabulary from his time on the streets, and puts it to use quite frequently even when he’s not angry or upset. He usually cusses to put emphasis on something he’s saying, rather than using it as an emotional outlet.
• Fighting Style: Due to his many years out on the streets and frequently engaging in questionable activities, Ottavio isn’t afraid to fight dirty, and he’ll gladly resort to cheap tactics or ‘cheating’ to keep himself and/or his friends alive during a fight. He is equally skilled in mid to close range combat, but has little practice or skill with projectile-based weaponry, and therefore is especially vulnerable to those who wield them - at least, he is from a far distance. In a fight with favorable circumstances for him, he’s almost always on the offensive, looking for a gap in his opponent’s defense or, if there aren’t any easily accessible to him, he’ll come up with a way to get them off their guard. On the defensive, his style becomes considerably more traditional, although it is nowhere near as rigid or practiced as a soldier’s would be and is more of an odd mercenary style.

• Physique: Astore’s physique is almost a textbook example of a typical ectomorph’s, as he’s quite tall, very skinny, and is not very muscular at all. He can move very quickly when he needs to, and he’s relatively flexible, but he has horrible endurance, and can be considered physically weak due to his near complete lack of strength. His constitution is pretty horrible too, as, once he’s been hit solidly a few times, that’s all it takes for him to go down - though someone actually has to deal damage to him first for that to happen, and his exceptional speed and agility make him a difficult target for both long and close-range fighting. Both his pain tolerance and threshold are relatively low compared to the average person, which, considering his more ‘delicate’ stature, isn’t that surprising. He’s slightly long legged in terms of proportions, but not to where it’s incredibly noticeable, and, overall, his features are smooth yet slightly angular. Overall, his face shape could be classified as ‘diamond shaped’, as his face is widest at his temples, and his face in general just has a somewhat lean (bony, even) look to it. His chin is slightly pointed, and he has a jawline that looks sharp enough to cut. His nose is rather defined-looking and has a ‘strong’ quality to it; it seems to be somewhere between aquiline and somewhat more ‘hawkish’. His cheekbones are slightly higher than the average person’s, but they’re not overly prominent. He generally looks his own age, though occasionally he can pass himself off as a year or two younger.
• Height: 5’11”
• Hair: Astore’s hair is a rich, dark mahogany color with natural, dark auburn highlights, and it is straight, fine, smooth, and almost silky in texture, and pleasantly soft to the touch. In terms of length, his hair reaches just a bit past his shoulders, and it’s generally very well kept and clean—looking as far as ‘cleanliness’ in the Renaissance goes, anyway - but it’s not uncommon for it to look a bit tangled from time to time. He typically keeps his hair back in a low ponytail for convenience’s sake, but it’s not uncommon for him to let it down from time to time. He doesn’t really style it any other way, though. In terms of facial hair, Astore is quite clean shaven, and doesn’t plan on letting any grow out anytime soon.
• Eyes: His irises are a light grey color, though the ring of color that borders the ‘outside’ of his irises is a much darker grey. They typically have a relatively warm and friendly look to them, except in extreme situations, and, at many times, they can seem intense and intelligent as well - especially when he’s working on something, or talking to someone about complex ideas or concepts.
• Skin: Astore’s skin is a lighter shade of olive than one might expect from a young man living out in the elements, and it is rather smooth to the touch. It does not freckle whatsoever, and he does not sunburn easily, nor does he really ‘tan’ either.
• Scars / Markings / Etc.: He has relatively few scars, surprisingly enough, despite having lived on the streets for a couple of years of his life. He does have some, but none of them are worthy of individual note. Furthermore, he has no tattoos, or other such markings. However, he does have his right ear singly pierced, and has a medium-sized but relatively simple gold stud securely fastened there. He currently has no other earring types, however, and therefore never changes his stud out to wear anything else.
• Clothing Description: Astore tends to dress simply, but somehow manages to dress neatly and in decent clothes while remaining more or less nondescript. He keeps his clothing as neat and stain-free as possible, and, while he isn’t vain about it, he does try to avoid situations that cause him to ruin an outfit, as he is in possession of very few garments at present, and would like to be able to wear them for as long as he can. He tends to wear average sized linen shirts, although they often hang off of his frame almost comically, and he prefers to wear various colors, although he keeps to darker or more neutral tones to retain some semblance of ‘forgettable-ness’. He wears pants made of the same material as his shirts, for the most part, but he also has a nice pair of chocolate-brown leather pants that he seldom wears except on special occasions. In terms of footwear, he owns a pair of nearly worn-out canvas and rope shoes that aren’t particularly comfortable, considering that they’ve been so heavily used. On the occasion that he needs to completely conceal his identity, or when the weather gets nasty, Astore also wears a hooded, calf-length, woolen, dark moss green dyed cloak, and this particular garment has no embroidery or other decorations than just its color. In terms of accessories, Astore does happen to have an old brass boatswain's whistle that he inherited from his grandfather, who had once been a famous Italian naval officer. He wears it on a chain around his neck, but usually keeps it hidden under his shirt, to protect it both from damage and rival thieves.
• Weapons: He doesn’t currently own more than one weapon, but he knows how to use the one he has quite well, not to mention he takes very good care of it. Astore’s primary (and only) weapon would be a heavily modified and somewhat strange looking crossbow, which he fondly nicknamed Eleonora. The tiller of the weapon is made from ash wood, and the lath and stirrup are made from mild steel. These things are all unadorned for the most part, save for a relatively simple carving on the right side of the ‘butt’ of the tiller, where Astore ‘engraved’ his weapon’s nickname into it in calligraphic handwriting, and he had a protective sap-based glaze put on the wood to make it look nice and glossy. However, what really sets his weapon apart is its inclusion of a (relatively rough) scope, which is crafted from brass and clear, uncolored glass, and one of the lenses has slight magnifying properties. His bolts are all made from mild steel, with spring steel tips and fletched with brightly colored feathers. He typically keeps this weapon strapped to his back, and, if he’s trying to keep it hidden, he’ll wear his cloak over it to conceal it. However, keeping his crossbow hidden is rarely an issue for him, as he doesn’t think just the fact that he has a weapon will immediately make people think he’s ‘dangerous’.
• Gait/Presentation:
• Accent: Ligure
• Habits / Quirks: Astore is an incorrigible “hand talker”, and, when he’s excited, stressed, worried, or powered by some other similar emotions, he is incapable of speaking without allowing his hands to move in accompaniment. While this is a largely benign quirk, it has caused him some embarrassment and problems with others, as, not only has he accidentally made hand gestures that could be misinterpreted, but he’s also accidentally hit/slapped people while gesturing. Also, he has a habit of biting his nails when he’s bored or stressed, and this habit of his is hardly an attractive or clean one.
• Fighting Style: He’s definitely more skilled at ‘long range’ combat, considering that being far away from his opponents gives him more time to think and strategize than being in the middle of a bloody fray, and his weaponry is also better suited for distance than for close range. His preferred combat style could be defined as synonymous with a sniper’s - he prefers his ‘fights’ to be one sided, quick, and as bloodless as possible. However, when that’s not an option and he’s forced into hand-to-hand, he’s also quite good at evading attacks and generally defending himself, although he’s much less effective at dealing damage, and is incapable of looking out for anyone but himself in situations like these.

• Physique: Leona’s build most resembles the typical classification of a mesomorph’s, as she gains muscle quite easily, has an hourglass body shape, and is relatively broad shouldered, among other traits. She has taken advantage of her body type, too, and she is very muscular, especially for a woman of her time period. Because of this, she relies less on speed in combat and more on pure, brute strength, and the training she’s put herself through as well as natural ability has made her quite flexible. Her constitution is remarkably good, as she is capable of taking a lot of damage in a fight before finally going down, although injuries will slow her down and make her own attacks progressively weaker and less accurate. Leona’s pain tolerance and threshold are both higher than the average person’s, although they’re not particularly remarkable. She is more or less evenly proportioned, and her features are smooth and slightly rounded. She has an oval face shape, and has a somewhat wider and slightly high forehead, and her jawline, while well-defined, is neither strong nor weak looking. Her cheekbones are of an average height, but are more prominent than the average individual’s, which gives her a severe-looking countenance when she’s angered by something. Her nose is a bit on the smaller side, and is rounded at the end, giving it a ‘soft’ shape. Her face does not quite match the rest of her body, and people generally have a difficult time guessing her age (her face looks younger, but the rest of her body suggests her ‘real’ age).
• Height: 5’9”
• Hair: Leona’s hair is a light caramel color with reddish-auburn highlights, and it’s slightly wavy, silky, and fine in terms of texture. It’s rather long as well, as the majority of it is about waist-length, though, by some miracle, she typically takes very good care of it, and it’s almost always clean - it most always meets the Renaissance’s requirements of ‘clean’, anyways. She’ll wear it down on occasion, but it is rare that she does so, as it has a tendency to get in her way when she tries to do much of anything, so she most commonly keeps it styled in some intricate braids or buns. However, when engaged in her ‘secret’ pastime, Leona opts for a tightly wound but spread out, slightly messy bun that she wears unconventionally low for the times, and she usually keeps it secured underneath the anonymity of a visored helm.
• Eyes: Her eyes are a bright, cool hazel color, though the brown ’tones’ of her eyes seem to be a bit more prevalent than the green ones. They typically have a reserved and detached look to them during her ‘regular’ days, and her expression seldom changes, making her quite hard to read. But that bored, ‘dead fish’ look gets replaced by a ferocious fire and determination when she’s out engaging in activities that she actually enjoys.
• Skin: Leona’s skin is a lighter shade of olive, but it is a few shades darker than that of most of her family members, as she is not a traditional upper class woman. She does freckle somewhat, although not very noticeably, and she sunburns rather infrequently.
• Scars / Markings / Etc.: She doesn’t have many scars at all, considering her position in society, and the ones she does have she goes to great lengths to keep hidden. She has a light, barely noticeable scar on her right forearm from a mission she went out on, which only scarred over because she tried to treat it herself, though this is almost always well-hidden under dress or uniform sleeves. She also has an inch long scar on her right side, just a few inches above her hip, which actually came from a training session gone wrong, and it’s slightly hypertrophic in nature. She has no other markings worthy of note, nor is she the type to have any sort of tattoos, or piercings.
• Clothing Description: Leona dresses as one would expect someone of her class to - richly and quite impractically for daily activities. It is less of a preference and more of a responsibility, however, as wearing anything else would be an ‘embarrassment’ to her family. However, she also opts for as loose and non-form-fitting dresses as she can, as she tries her hardest to hide her fit, muscular frame from other members of her family. The dresses she wears are always crafted from expensive fabrics such as silks, lace, velvet, among many other kinds of fabrics - and sometimes her dresses consist of tasteful amalgamations of such textiles. These dresses usually reach all the way to the floor length-wise, and, true to the times, they’re rather tight around the bodice, but also have ‘bishop’ sleeves and ridiculously voluminous skirts - and the latter of those two things are essential in helping Leona hide her ‘unusually’ fit figure. The necklines of her dresses are also often on the lower side, to her slight dismay, although they vary in cut. They’re almost always have some embroidery on them, and quite a few are heavily embroidered with costly gold and silver thread, although she refuses to wear anything that’s ridiculously ornate and draws the line at dresses with gems sewn into them. She also has a good few high-quality cloaks that are as equally elegant as her dresses, but she favors one of them in particular. This particular cloak is a chocolate color, which was made from bear fur and lined with similarly colored silk on the inside, and there are no superfluous decorations on it, making it look less effeminate and showy than her other ones. However, she wears this one the least as Leona, but, rather, wears it when on duty as ‘Lazzaro’. When she’s masquerading around as her alias, she never wears anything except for the typical Templar guard’s armor, complete with the helm, visor down. She takes keeping her identity secret very seriously, and has yet to slip up in a way she hasn’t been able to easily fix.
• Weapons: As herself, Leona doesn’t have any ‘real’ weapons, although she managed to convince her uncle to allow her to keep a small and mostly ornamental dagger on her person for protection. The bade is about three and a half inches long, and the hilt is four, and the blade and the ‘backbone’ of the hilt are made from very high-grade steel. However, the majority of the hilt is made up of ivory, and encrusted with rubies and pearls arranged in a delicate floral design, and, on its pommel, her family crest is embossed in gold-gilded steel. The scabbard is of a similar design, and it is hardly the most comfortable weapon to wield, nor is it an incredibly practical one.

• Physique: Fabian is certainly no one to be trifled with, tall and built to take a hit. Cutting a mesomorphic figure, he is broad shouldered and well muscled, but still leaning towards the more wiry side. Practically raised to be a soldier, he is every inch the fighter that he appears to be, able to move fairly quickly while still putting quite the force and strength behind a blow. His pain tolerance is pretty average for someone with his physical background and training, but he can definitely dish out more than he can take. His face is well structured, His features intense and smoothly chiseled. He has a well-defined, square jaw line with a strong chin attached.
• Height: 6’1”
• Hair: His hair is a mixture of neat waves and curls with a natural, almost unruly look to it, but not necessarily wild or out of control, a stray cowlick here or there. In terms of length, it is fairly uniform all around; short, with a few stray pieces framing his face, curling around his ears and the back of his neck. There’s no particular rhyme or reason for it, other than for convenience. It’s easier and more comfortable to fit short hair into a helmet or hood rather than long. That being said, he gets bad hat hair, and it tends to stick up sometimes, especially when it’s exceptionally humid. It’s a dark brown color, nearly black. It is particularly sensitive to sunlight, so the intensity of the shade will vary with the time of year; taking on a more medium brown in the summer with a stray golden highlight here and there, and quite dark in the winter. He tends not to have facial hair, and when he does, it’s nothing more than a five o’clock shadow.
