[OOC] This Should be Paradise (Zombie Apocalypse RP)[ALWAYS OPEN]

Story:
a mysterious disease has been unleashed through out the earth. Starting from one country until it infects an another one. Every where you go, there are people struggling, running and fighting against from fellow people who wants to eat them. We call them 'zombies', they are dead people who woke up to eat people. The world that should've been paradise turned into a living hell. There is no safe place, you are in danger no matter where you go not just from zombies but also from living people that also wants to kill people. There might be hope, can we build a paradise in this wasteland?

Place:

The RP takes place on a very big city named 'Paradise City'. It is a normal city until zombies overrun it. It is technically an empty city that will be built with our imagination so you are free to make up places as you RP in Paradise City.

RP Systems

Quick Action Sequence:

When you're char got into a QAS, it means they have to do what the choices are. Your char is not allowed to do any other stuff except for the choices. Of course just like in Telltale games, this has consequences and good effects. So choose carefully but this happens rarely so all throughout you will RP freely unless QAS is triggered. Also, you have to RP out the choice you made.

Party System:

In a zombie apocalypse, you can't survive on your own. Party system is made so you can have a rag tag team. There are chances that an NPC character might join you and fight zombies with each other. When I introduce them, a char sheet will be seen in the end of the post so you can know who they are. But, be careful who you trust. PCs can join a party as well, meaning they will share the party (but there should be one leader) or if you joined an NPC party, the NPC is the leader of course.

Colonies:

Although, it is a living hell. There are still people who are trying hard to build a community so they can be back with their normal lives. If your lucky, you might bump into one but it is freely your choice to join or not but some might force you. Having a colony means more teammate and effective weapons. You can start your own colony if you want to but there must be at least 3 more people in your party and must have a fortified place to live in.

You are safe in your colony but not until zombies overrun it or bandits ambushed it. so protect your colony as much as you can.

What's the difference between party and colony?

party is your group, these are the people who will follow you everywhere. if conflicts happen, they might leave.

Colony is also a group but since there are many people, you can't make them follow you everywhere. So, instead, it's like a "teammate storage". When you are inside your colony, you can manage your teammates(NPCs only unless a PC decided to join your party). the same with party if conflicts happen, someone might leave.

Strengths & Weaknesses:

Pros and Cons of your character. This is made to prevent godmodding like if your char is slow and he ran in a speed of a runner, that is already godmodding. and if your char is not strong but managed to lift a boulder, it's obvious. Strengths can be used as an advantage during RP like when there is a locked door but your character is an expert lockpicker, you can open it. and there is a boulder blocking your way and your character is strong, you can push it. Weaknesses is a disadvantage during RP like your character can't swim because he is hydrophobic. or your character can't fight because he is a coward. but, these can be changed when character development happens.

The city your characters will be RPing at is "Paradise City" (no specific country where). It is technically an empty city that will be built with our imaginations so there will be no specific places mentioned here so you are free to make up pleaces here. still, be realistic you can't find an underground lab all of a sudden.

RULES OF THE RP:

1. No flaming in the OOC thread
2. No godmodding obviously
3. Respect each other
4. No random killing of PCs and NPCs.
5. This is a realistic RP. Therefore, everything must be realistic. You can't go "he found a rocket launcher lying on the streets" or "he killed a horde of zombies with just one slash of a broken glass".
6. Your characters can die anytime in the RP so please accept their deaths positively but you can make a new one.
7. No double characters unless your first one died.
8. Romance can happen but keep it R-13.

Appearance:
At 3’0, Estelle could be described as petite and slender. Her skin is blemish free aside from a few scars on her hands and knees from falling. Her long dark curls hung to her waist and she has bright blue eyes like her brother. She is not very strong though she has quite a kick. She normally dresses in leggings, a skirt, a shirt, a jacket and running shoes.

Occupation:
Elementary school student

Nationality:
White. To be more specific, she is Irish, understands Gaelic but her family moved to the U.S. where she was born.

Place of Residence:
Dallas, Texas

Strengths:

• She is very good at being quiet and sneaking around.
• Quick reflexes and nimble fingers.
• Fast learner

Weaknesses:

• She tries to see the good in everybody and this at times will keep her from seeing the evil there as well.
• If someone is in trouble, she tends to just rush to help without thinking of the consequences.
• Bottling up her problems and pain. No one can help if they don’t know what’s wrong with her.

~ Hunting Knife= It was her brothers.
~ Pistol= Found beneath the counter of the weapons shop.

Estelle is normally described as a kind and caring individual. She tends to put others needs before her own and won't hesitate to help someone if she feels they are in need of assistance. She also has her shy moments where she tends to look at the ground and not really talk to anyone. She gets nervous when meeting new people and doesn't speak much until she gets to know them better. Despite all of this, Estelle has a stubborn streak like her brother and will not budge if she sets her mind to something. She's not one to anger easily but once she is watch out because she can have quite the temper and is not afraid to give you a piece of her mind. Of course, afterwards she will be completely mortified by what she said and will apologize profusely to the person she grew angered at. If she thinks they deserve it that is. If she feels you completely had what was coming to you, not one word of apology will leave her lips though secretly she will still feel rather bad about it. Another trait of Estelle's is that she has a bad habit of bottling up her problems so the people around her will not worry. Even if she is having the worst day imaginable she will still put on a smile and say everything is fine. After the outbreak, she became even shyer of strangers and while she has a hard time trusting people like Orion, she likes to give people the benefit of the doubt.

History:
Estelle was born the youngest of three children to parents Luna and Mark Forrester, an Irish couple that meet in high school. Her older brother lived in Ireland with their parents until he was eight before they had to move overseas due to their father’s work. There, the small family settled down in Dallas, Texas in a small apartment a few blocks from the Perot Museum. When her brother was ten years old, Luna found out she was pregnant with twin girls. Orion was so happy at the fact that he was going to be a big brother and often lay next to his mother and talked to the girls growing in her womb. When the twins were born, Orion fell in love with Estelle and Willow from the moment he held them. As they grew, he was always there. He witnessed their first step and he felt so thrilled when Estelle’s first word was not “mama” or “dada”, but Ri, as close as she could come to his name. Their parents firmly believed in their culture and so Orion and the twins knew how to speak English as well as Gaelic.

The day the world had gone to hell was the day that Orion had gone on a road trip with Estelle. He had just graduated and wanted to get out of town. Since Willow had been sick, Estelle had been the only one that could go. It took a lot of pleading with their parents but eventually they consented and off Orion and Estelle went to Paradise City. When people started going crazy and tried eating each other, Orion got bit and the two holed up in a weapons shop. Little did Estelle know was that in a matter of hours, Orion would soon become one of those "monsters" outside.
