I imagine such a thing can be done, though to do so would be quite silly and unrealistic. I believe that the timeline can change after December 1st, but it should probably be kept within the realm of reality. So national beliefs and statistics won't be randomly changing anytime soon. Though if you wanted a monarchist Brazil I imagine you could write a series of posts detailing the growth of the right and the eventual rise of monarchist sympathies, etc.

Too be honest I feel too eager to have a monarchy simple because they're fun to rp. When inbreeding makes crazy kings shit gets hilarious fast.

Well, I know that a lot of people hate the current Brazilian leader so maybe have some Coup happen that results in someone becoming the leader.
Have it so when this person dies their son becomes leader

- Have the right-wing Golden Dawn stage a coup/gain public support and go all hyper-nationalist on everyone.

Well the current Brazilian leader was impeached on the 3rd, so maybe in this timeline she refuses to step down and bam sudden Socialist Dictatorship.

Seems a bit out of character since the entire party was founded in opposition to military dictatorships so maybe I have to think harder.

I just found out that there never was a peace treaty signed between the USSR/Russian Federation and Japan at the end of WWII. Technically speaking Japan and Russia are still at war :D
