Cool- I dig that vibe. Also, Blue- would you want to get Abe into our collab? (for that secret secret thing towards the end that we both totally know nothing about that I mentioned) :D

Ok, that sounds good.

However, I don't have access to a computer at the moment. I'm typing on a phone right now, and it takes forever.

I'm currently finishing up the final collab of my post. It's going to be biblical.

One more addition. This needs a soundtrack for one moment in particular.

Edited in now- it goes perfectly in my head, for some reason. It was a fucking long post, but this is like reading three people's posts in one. Thank you for the collabing guys- it was a great experience, and I hope it really rings out as a truly defining moment in the plot of King's Landing. For sure, I can imagine that from here, we're going to see the shockwaves of what happens unfurl.

Comment of the week on that video:

"As king, Robert was basically a fratboy with ridiculous amounts of power."

Probably. When you consider that jousting, fighting and fucking people up is the Medieval equivelent, then yeah, probably.

Meh, no idea. Still though, I find it awesome he fought with a warhammer.

I would say that the Reach has never had a really well defined weapon- longsword and shield (really traditional for a Knight), two-handed swords, spears, they're quite common. The Poleaxe is something they've probably adopted a little more, as a guardsman's/Retinue's weapon of choice- it's a pointy axe on a steel pole. Very Reach-like- if Dorne has it's spears, the North has it's fuck-off two handed swords that are almost unwieldy, then that might be the way.

@kingkonrad In the GRRMiverse, southron nobles use swords, Iron Islanders use axes, Dornishmen use spears, Northerners use greatswords or maces, and Targs use dragons, or if there's none of those, then swords.

Hmm, interesting. I would have thought Longsword/Shield, as seen in Garland's appearance picture, so yeah, that sounds right.

Just watched some more vintage GoT, particularly the joust between Loras/Gregor. And remembered that the latter actually fucking decapitated a horse in one fell swoop. Holy balls.

It is a big post, and you begin to see how it fits....now, I would assume that Alyssa has a King to go find :D

Meh, Ramin Djawadi always wins for me, followed by Hans Zimmer. The former's soundtracks always rock. Medal of Honor is still one of the coolest soundtracks I've listened to, a mixture of everything but it works so, so well. I might add one more song to my post from him, but it isn't GoT based.

Uh oh, I think Aerys may have taken to much after his father... his immature rage may lead to some bad things... well if @bluetommy2 could finally be free I can get the Iron islands REALLY started in a nice, big way...

@agentmanatee But he's a boy, and actually, holds little sway- he would need a regent, and needs to be tutored still. Definitely interesting to see what happens now- if Tyget agrees to stand down, his line continues, but he might actually not, alternatively seeing a really, really savage war emerge. Fun times.

@kingkonradWell, Tyget will most likely stand down(AFTER he kills every fucking Greyjoy obviously), partially because Dorne has his daughter and will support Aerys, and Partially because he would quite like his head to remain where it is.

He has his plans, both to avoid death himself AND keep the Crakehalls where they are.

@agentmanatee Well, if you stand down you will have to face a trial.
