Jay Allen

Name: Jay Allen

Age: 17

Personality: Jay is short-tempered. He can get really angry at times, sometimes unstable. He hates it when people mess with his friends. Also, he only has street smarts, because that's where he grew up. He's calm when he's not fighting someone, only when he's fighting, he gets angrier and angrier. He does have a nice side, when he's around his friends or people that he knows and trusts.

History: Jay was born in 2004, in the U.S. He grew up with his mother, his father left them after he learned Jay's mother was pregnant with his child. Jay had an hard life, because he struggled with an education. His mother couldn't afford a good school for him, so he had to learn through a poor school. His mother wanted to give him a good life.

Soon, he learned he had super strength, when a bully was picking on him, and Jay punched him. The world didn't know about Super-Humans at this point. People saw Jay as an freak. His mother was scared of him too, so he ran away at age 14. He lived on the streets, and no one bothered searching for him. At age 15, he learned that there was a camp for people like him, called the Next Generation. He went there, and stayed there for two years, which leads to present day.

Powers/Abilities: Super Strength, the ability to have strength that a normal person cannot posses.

Alex Marran

Name: Alex Marran
Age: 15
Personality:
Alex is a major downer. It's not his fault his life sucked but he really isn't helping himself. He isn't good at working with others or really working at all. He'd rather sleep all day, or better yet just die. His self esteem is crap. Anything he does he's liable to second guess, because to him he's screwed everything else up so badly.
History:
Alex was born, normal and unhappy to be in a world so filled with hatred and filth. Being born in the slums of America didn't help. Yes they where in the America, but it had changed. Before the mutants started popping up and the rebellion and all the wars it was a very nice place to live; rich or poor. But now it was quite the opposite, atleast for the poor. The best Alex's parents could do was join tenant farm after another in the central north america, there at least they had food. Like anything around Alex though, that didn't last long. Starting at 13 everything around him seemed to die, plants were no exception.
Each year the Marran's crops all died. It seemed like bad land at first but after moving several times it seemed more like bad luck that followed. They soon settled for factory work, it was the next most available thing. In the city Alex learned that there were ways to control the death around him. If he hated someone enough they would end up dead from radiation poison. If the neighborhood gangs threatened him their car might explode with their guns and them inside. It was never pleasant when these things happened, he could never hate anyone enough to want them dead. But there he was. Just him and accidentally dead people.
There were people who he loved to and they ended up dead too. His parents for example fell horridly ill, then found that they had cancer in many of their organs and that they both were going to die. It was a long awful death. For almost a year they suffered scraping together as much money as they could to leave Alex with. There wasn't enough money in the world to make up for their deaths. There would never be enough money to convince him he didn't kill them.
Alex had nothing left in the world, no home or family. He wandered for a while. Drifting from city to city, avoiding people in general. He stumbled across Next Generation by luck and figured maybe it was his luck break to get his life together.
Powers/Abilities: Nuclear physiology- Takes in nuclear energy near by and can manipulate it in a way that can be harmful towards others.

Kamden Trevor

Sixteen

Personality:

Imaginative. Sarcastic. Lazy. Happy-Go-Lucky.

"Chill out man, it's only 2:00 pm. We have like most of the day yet to explore." Kamden is a very "relaxed" individual who doesn't like to get up before noon and would rather be curled up watching television than doing anything of the physical nature. She has a lot of good ideas and plans, but doesn't take much initiative in completing them. Often making jokes or laying on the sarcasm, Kam is not one to take life too seriously.

History:

Kamden grew up in the middle of nowhere on a farm in Kansas, USA. She was raised an only child with the help of a loving father and mother who despite not having too much money, gave their princess everything she ever wanted. Originally they thought their daughter had just a green thumb and was good with her hands as their crops and flowers grew to be healthy and hearty in even the worst seasons, but after finding evidence of the supernatural within the girl, they knew their daughter wasn't so normal after all.

Wanting to still provide the best, they took initiative to find some place to send Kamden so that she could be with people of her own caliber and maybe use her powers for good things in the world. It was then she was sent off to Next Generation. Excited for her first year there, Kam is ready to take on whatever the camp has.

Vayla Roseburn

Vayla had always had trouble fitting in. There was just something about her, people seemed to find weird. This making Vayla a loner. She hasn't know anything about her skills until a bird died at her school during flying against the window. It's neck was broken and Vayla held the bird for the whole break. All the students walking by laughed at her and pointed at the girl holding a dead animal. Just as the bell rang announcing the next lesson, the bird awoken and flew away shirping.

From there on all people made even more fun of her. It was an awful time. She thought it was a good thing the bird was back to life. But she had to learn it had a negative effect on her health.

She usually never got a cold, when she got hurt she healed unnaturally fast. But in that night she got her first fever ever.

Learning she got no where to be where people wouldn't point a finger and call her a freak, she left home in the middle of the night to wander around. She was a teenager with no where to go. And as the woman grew up she promised she'd help anyone who had similar problems.

When she found out there were others like her, she planned on a stay for them and it slowly turned out to be a whole camp where the kids could find shelter, friends, education and understanding from others. It was a place she was proud of. It quickly became her life and she puts her whole heart and soul into it.

Name: Kira Eleanor
Age: 17
Personality: Kira is a very free and happy person. She enjoys life and likes to live it to the fullest. Whether it be by partying all night long or by going out and doing something. Either way, she has to be moving and is constantly full of energy.

However, she can be very mischievous. She loves pulling pranks and antagonizing those she deems boring or 'In need of some fun'. She isn't a bad person, not at all. In fact, she loves pulling magic tricks and entertaining people. She enjoys seeing other people happy and seeing other people laugh and enjoy themselves. But, don't think that she is just always looking after others.
History: Kira was born in England. Born to a happy mother and father. She had an older sister however. Her parents owned a nice little bakery where her brother and she worked part-time. Her older sister was a successful lawyer away in New York but, she still remained involved with them by visiting and sending them money every month. Despite her parent's protests.

Everything was fine with them however, it was always known that Kira was a bit different. Whether it be by her fantastic reflexes or her quick react time-either way, something was up. And it became glaringly obvious as to what it was when she was 11. Her parents and she were out in the park having a picnic. They were laughing and having fun when Kira just so happened to look towards the road.

She spotted a little boy running out into the street after his ball. She was the only one who saw the car come speeding towards the child. So, before she realized what was happening, she was next to the child. She grabbed him and they were on the sidewalk. No one saw anything.

And it was at that point that she realized that she was not normal. She realized that she had a gift. So, she came out to her parents about it. She knew that she had to let them know as she had no idea about what to do with her power. Sure, she could ignore it but, she was never one for giving up or ignoring things.

Her parents welcomed her gift and took it upon themselves to teach her how to use it and control it. After all, the last thing they wanted was for her to slip and use her super speed in public. So, she spent years practicing with it and she was able to control it pretty well. She mostly enjoyed pushing her ability to see how far she could go with it.

And then her parents came out to her about some big news. They found a place for her to go and learn how to fully control her abilities. Sure, her parents believed that she had become a lot better at controlling her power but, she still needed help with it. So, off she went to Next Generation. She was confident that it would be a lot of fun.
Powers/Abilities: Super Speed. (And with that she has increased agility and stamina.)

Kimberly Juno

Name: Kimberly Juno

Age: 13

Personality: Short-tempered and prideful, Kimberly is your typical tomboy. She is adventurous and daring, sometimes to the point of recklessness. However, she does think and act quickly during times of stress. That being said, Kimberly can be quite friendly with other people, easily striking up conversations with other people. She also displays a strong sense of justice, usually seeing issues as black-and-white.

History: Kimberly started as a normal kid, living a normal life with normal parents. She performed slightly above average in school, had her own share of friends, a lived in a normal home. There was nothing that labeled her as too odd or weird. Her parents had enough money to live a comfortable middle-class life as well. All in all, a good life.

At the age of 9, though, was when she first began noticing something wrong with her. Certain things tended to stick on to her, metal things she touched sometimes became slightly magnetic for a while, sometimes she gave people static shocks, even certain machines acted oddly around her. She tried to figure out what was going on in her own time, and eventually found out that she was somehow affecting electricity. If she concentrated hard enough, she found out that she could control it, and even generate some herself. She began to experiment with her new found ability over the years, attempting to better control and understand what it was she could do.

One day, in the middle of the night, Kimberly was woken up by a strange sound. She got up to figure out what was going on, and was grabbed by a burglar, knife near her face, before she could react. As the burglar began to question where the money and valuables were kept, however, Kimberly instinctively released a discharge of electricity, stunning the burglar and rendering him unconscious.

After contacting the police and having them take the burglar away, Kimberly decided to reveal to her parents her ability. Needless to say, they were quite surprised to see their daughter giving off electricity. Slowly, though, they began to accept it, and it was kept a secret from others. Later on, Kimberly heard rumors of people also displaying unnatural and extraordinary abilities, and the Next Generation camp that was for people like her. Naturally, Kimberly was interested and begged her parents to let her go. They were reluctant, but eventually decided that it was for the best.
Powers/Abilities: Electrokinesis

Conner FLynigann

Name: Conner Flynigann

Age: 14

Personality: Conner isn't exactly social. He tends to just listen to others talk, although there are times he's willing to speak his mind, particularly with those he is comfortable talking to. However, he is quite intelligent, and will make the effort to learn about anything that seems or is important in some way.

History: Conner lived a bit of a harsh life, his family barely able to make ends meet. They had lost almost everything due to a Superhuman attack, and did what they could for themselves. Fortunately, after a time of stress, they were eventually able to keep a roof over their heads and food on their plate every day, so they had it better than some. School was hardly an obstacle for Conner, having earned exemplary grades every day. However, what really made life bearable for him was his classmate and childhood friend Kimberly. The two were almost inseparable, having formed a close bond with each other.

Years passed, with Kimberly revealing her electric powers to Conner and the two figuring out how they worked. One day, during another test, Kimberly and Conner were having a bit of fun, and the two connected with each other. Then the two kids merged together to form a new being. They promptly separated soon after, and Conner was quick to come to the realization that he had an even odder ability. Naturally, the two worked together even more to figure out how each other's abilities worked.

Time passed, with Conner always searching over various forms of information for other signs of beings like them. One of the findings, of course, was about the Next Generation. Conner researched further into it, and found that it was a place for people like Kimberly and himself. With no concrete proof about the existence of it, however, Conner chose not to blindly believe that such a place existed. Kimberly, however, wanted him to go check it out as well, so, against Conner's better judgement, they decided to tell Conner's parents about his abilities. Conner's mother was quick to accept it. However, Conner's father was horrified to find that his son and his best friend were both superhumans. With that event, Conner decided that it was best to leave and make his way to Next Generation.

Powers/Abilities: Synchronize: Conner is capable of fusing, or "synchronizing", with another Superhuman to create a more powerful being with the other. Results may vary, though the being's abilities always have enhanced versions of the other superhuman's abilities. Essentially, a new form is created with two minds working as one.
