[OOC] Aegis Faces the Man-Eater

The setting is Ancient Greece, specifically the region of Epirus. The young hero known as Aegis has been hired by a local village to look into the deaths of a number of merchantmen who have traveled through Vikos Gorge. Supplies in the village are running low, and they fear barbarians or bandits have taken residence in the Gorge and are strangling the village of deliveries.
