The world of Aurora is filled with magnificent technology and artificial intelligence, but is mostly known for the shimmering, streaming lights that fill the sky every night. It is known as the Aura and all life is borrowed from the Aura, but must eventually return to the Aura. :

Humans can harness the Aura. Each person receives one ability from the Aura and all of their powers fall under certain castes: Military, Workers, Aristocrats, and Nobles. Under each category are subcategories that determine the human’s job.
MILITARY
OFFENSIVE
1. Knight – fights on foot
2. Cavalry – fights on horse
3. Navy – fights on water
4. Flighters – fight in air on top of phoenixes
5. Archers – fight from a distance
6. Politicians, sometimes
DEFENSIVE:
1. Bellator – bodyguards of royals
2. Bulwarks – guards of the Colonies
3. Constables – police
WORKERS:

2. Healers

4. Teachers
5. Politicians, most of the time

Humans were once united under one kingdom, but has since adopted city-state like system called Colonies. Colonies are round, dome buildings that posses all houses, stores, government areas, and such and such. Generally, there is peace amongst the Colonies as they rely on each other for food and other production. There are several Colonies around Aurora, but most of them are in the continent of Atlantis. In Atlantis, a place mostly controlled by humans, there are around twenty-three Colonies:

2. The major military colony, Lux
3. Sphinx, known for its educational system
4. Fae, known for building technology
5. Flutterby, center for international relations
6. Saccharon, known for architecture
7. Eden, agricultural center
8. Aeris, known for manufacturing
9. Argent, known for manufacturing
10. Aurum, known for manufacturing
11. Silva, known for lumber
12. Angelus, known for agriculture
13. Ager, agriculture
14. Rus, agriculture
15. Dolor, the center for drinking, gambling, smoking, prostitution, etc. (The Las Vegas of Aurora)
16. Poltergeist, known for criminal activities and gangs and named for being supposedly haunted
17. Leprechaun, mainly filled with rich people and politicians
18. Charybdis, mainly fishing and trading, is on the edge of the sea
19. Troy, law enforcement center
20. Talos, a place known for science
21. Dain, a mining Colony
22. Galar, the mining center
23. Brokkr, a mining Colony
Each Colony is ruled by an oligarchial system that controls most aspect of people's lives inside the domes.
