Dislikes: Chaos, angels, war, salad, inflexible rules, too much of any temperature
Biggest Fear: Nobody knows?
Weapon:
The tip of the rapier is covered in auren when an angel is stabbed it is poisoned with auren. Also there is a small button at the base of the blade, close to the handle that can shoot the tip in the form of a dart at high speeds. Inside the rapier holds 3 reserve darts/tips. In order to refill it, he has to unscrew the hilt of his rapier.
Skills: Sharp Shooter If persuaded, Headmaster Hilfox can shoot a bullseye with his weapon at 100 yards away. Though he claims that his skill is getting rusty because of old age.
Strategist Hilfox was a renown strategist back when he was fighting in the war. He was able to make the best of any dire situation. There were even times when he was able to turn the tides from a suicide mission to a battle with no casualties.
Personality: Professor Hilfox is a kind guy. He watches over the students as if they were his own children. He tends to sometimes spoil the kids, knowing that this is their last chance to enjoy life before they’re thrown into an unforgiving slaughter house. Some of the students describe him as a grandfather like figure. Though, he is nice, Hilfox also knows how to run the academy in the best way possible. He can usually tell when a student is feeling down, and cheers them up. His assistant can become annoyed sometimes at his lack of discipline, but he is patient and usually brushes her off.
Biography: Malrain Hilfox used to be a part of the military as an extremely high ranking officer. He grew up humbly, and went to school at a very average battle school. However, once he rose up the ranks, his intelligence and strategical prowess was recognized and he was promoted to Head of the Planning Committee. He spent many years in that position, never once did he think of the warriors as pawns fighting against the angels. He had lead many people into battle and has had more than his share of fighting. After 29 years of leading the Planning Committee, Hilfox requested to retire. The military and government officials only agreed because he was setting up an academy. So, they found a replacement and the Professor started the Academy.
Biggest Fear: Ms.Stern is terrified of losing someone she loves once again.
Weapon: Rifle/Spear
The rifle will look more like the individual picture but the spear is what the picture combined would look like. Essentially, the spear will be hidden and compacted within the barrel of the rifle. When transformed into a spear, it’s pretty heavy from the extra part of the gun but due to her experience, Ms.Stern can use the spear with ease. The rifle aspect of the weapon is able to shoot a variety of bullets that can fire with a poisonous spray of Auren, a pure, solid Auren bullet (but these are very rare and Ms.Stern only has a few she keeps for extreme measures), as well as regular bullets.
Skills: Angel Expert Due to Ms.Stern’s spending 6 years studying Angel, there are very few people who know more about Angels than her. If anyone has a question regarding them, Ms.Stern would be the one to talk to
Excellent Aim Ms.Stern has gained exceptional aim over the years of her training with her rifle, her favored weapon over the spear. It’s rumored that she can even fire over 2,000 yards, although this was during her younger days.
Personality:
To the students of Freymont Academy, Ms.Stern is a wicked hag who craves for nothing but punishing and torturing students. Order must be maintained and it’s Ms.Stern’s job to ensure that it is. While harsh, Ms.Stern is fair in the sense that she only gives students what they deserve. Anyone who dares misbehaves or shows signs of disrespect, in Ms.Stern’s eyes, deserves punishment. No matter if she favors a student, order will and must be obeyed.
Despite her strictness, Ms.Stern genuinely cares for her students and should any alarming harm come to them, she won’t hesitate to protect them. There is a heart deep down within her, although very few people have seen this side of her, as she likes to keep things ‘professional’.
Ms.Stern has a rather strange affinity toward fashion and owns a large collection of all the latest styles within her room. Of course, you won’t find Ms.Stern parading around the school in them. No, she mainly keeps them around to try on when she’s stressed or upset, often giving herself a fashion show. During work, you’ll always find her dressed in the most professional and conservative brand.
Biography:
Ms.Stern’s story started off as any ordinary life and her childhood was full of giggles and fun memories she’ll keep with her forever. All things must come to an end, as they say though. For at age 10, Ms.Stern’s parents passed away in a simple car accident. It had been the other driver who caused it, a Proticans they called him. Apparently something had caught his eye in the road and left him vulnerable to the road. No heroic death, no murder, just a stupid mistake that took her parents away.
After mourning, Ms.Stern was brought to her uncle’s house. It was here she finally learned about Angels. Kyle, her uncle, was obsessed with them and had an entire collection of books dedicated to the topic. It was only a matter of time before the little Ms.Stern came across them herself. Instead of watching movies and eating popcorn for fun, they’d research and get lost within the vast library of his collection. Together, they became experts over the high beings.
Kyle was drafted into the nation’s military 6 years later, leaving Ms.Stern all by herself once again. Rather than be shipped off to the nearest relative, Ms.Stern chose to join an Academy and train against the Angels she spent years memorizing facts about. Ms.Stern graduated at the top of her class, in both academics and athletic ability, but becoming a Protican was something she quickly found wasn’t for her. Strangely enough, she took an interest in teaching others about the dangerous beings and easily became one of the best. With talents in both facts and fighting, it wasn’t long before Professor Hilfox approached her to be apart of his new academy.
(Ms.Stern’s uncle mysteriously went missing during Ms.Stern’s training at an Academy and even today, officials are unsure as to what happened to him. No body was ever found.)
Louise is of French and Irish descent, giving her a pale complexion all year round. She was born with dark brown eyes and dark brown hair, but prefers to dye her hair various shades of blonde. Retractable Spear & Ice Axes
The spear tip and the blades of the ice axes are covered in Auren making any stab wound to an angel debilitating if not fatal. When the spear is retracted it can be split in half releasing the ice axes' blades. Turning the one weapon into two small weapons. The range for both parts of the weapon are very limited to how far the person wielding it can throw it, but at close range deals heavy blows.
▪ Initiation ▪
Louise vs The Cougar
As prepared as Louise thought she was for her initiation, nothing could have prepared her for the fear she felt when she was caged with the bright eyed beast. Though the feline barely outweighed her by several pounds, the hunger for fresh meat was enough for the cat to attack in an ambush fashion. Louise struggled to get the cougar off her, it's claws sinking into her abdomen as it tried to sink it's teeth into her neck for the kill. Giving heavy blows with closed fists to the cat's face, one good hit to the eye dazed the cougar enough to give Louise the chance to trade positions with him. She climbed over him, pinning him to the bottom of the cage. She continued to wail on the cat until it was not breathing, her hands shaking and covered in blood.
▪ Skills ▪
Powerful. Manipulation. Team Player. Like a modern day valkyrie, Louise stands as a tall and powerful woman warrior. What she lacks in speed and flexibility she makes up for in giving and taking hard hits. She can be a dirty trickster using her wits and charm to outsmart her enemy when the time calls for this type of battle. Louise can do great on her own but works even better when she has a trusted partner or an unified team on her side.
Louise is that person in your life that you feel is your second mother because she will make you your favorite food and bring it to you while you're sick in bed, but will also let you know that you should probably do your laundry soon because your room is starting to smell. A little bit of mystery in life is a good thing to Lou, she enjoys trying new things and enjoys the excitement of learning anything that she didn't know before hand. You can always rely on Louise to be there for you, and have someone to go to when you need to talk.
▪ Biography ▪
As a child of war, the fate to become a Protican was intertwined with Louise's life from the day she graced Abadon. She is the daughter of Lou and Karen Lowry and the younger sister to the now deceased; Phillip Lowry. Both of her parents had gone through training at a lower class academy (The place they had met, and fell in love with one another) and fought for the human race until both decided to retire their weapon and settle down to raise a family. Their oldest son finished all four years of school at the same academy as his parents and was sent off to battle to be shortly after killed. Though he was a strong student, the realities of the real world were far too great.
When their remaining child and only daughter became of age to be sent off to an academy, they had their worries and fears. To give her a better chance, they sent her to the more established and renowned Freymont Academy with hopes that she would fair much longer and harder than her brother before her.
Louise has been attending for a little less than a year and she feels she is doing pretty well for herself, and enjoys writing back and forth to her parents of her experiences. She takes her parent's advice into heavy consideration when prompted but knows that they don't always know what is the best for her.
"Is that an oversized bird? Oh, no, my mistake. It's an angel."
Weapon:
Mjolnir is the combination of a war hammer and a three-section staff. While Mjolnir has the head of a war hammer, the staff connected to it has the ability to become disjointed when pulled apart and snapped, separating into three pieces. This allows Mjolnir to have flexibility when Hero needs it to, throwing in martial arts and catching the enemy off guard. Mjolnir is, nonetheless, able to stay rigid when Hero uses it as a war hammer, throwing her might into it and striking her enemies. The length of Mjolnir is four feet and a half, only a foot smaller than Hero herself. The ridged spikes on the hammer head are covered in auren as well as the long, extended spike on the opposite side of the hammer head.
Initiation:
During Initiation, when Hero stepped into swampy water, her heart dropped. However, it wasn’t until the crocodile grabbed onto her leg and dragged her to the depths of the makeshift swamp that she worried. The crocodile’s teeth pierced her leg muscles, tearing her flesh, and the dirty swamp water stung her eyes, making it hard for her to see. The crocodile began to roll, Hero’s head smashed against a rock one time before she managed to tear her leg from the crocodile’s grip, rendering her leg incapacitated. Before the animal could strike back, however, Hero wrestled with the creature, wrapping her arms around his snout and dragging it backwards until she heard the snapping of its spine. The animal hung limp in her arms and Hero swam to the surface, gasping for air, her leg useless until the medics retrieved her.
Skills:
Hero is flexible and strong, able to twist her body accordingly and slam her body weight into the throws of her hammer. However, only her shoulders are strong and her legs are particularly weak. She favors her right leg as the Initiation has left a permanent handicap in which her left leg is not as strong as it should be, and probably will never be. It is her weak spot and if targeted, she will most likely go down. Despite having fast reflexes and fighting know-how, Hero’s movements are completely readable and predictable because of the energy spent throwing her body into her attacks. The blonde tires quickly and she always aims for the kill, but it would be relatively easy for an opponent to outlast her. Hero possesses survival knowledge due to a fascination with nature as well as her studying habit.
"I am not scared of them. I am a lion, not a lamb."
Personality:
Hero was a natural born hunter, displaying predatory tendencies since she was a child. Like a lion, she is possessive and prone to outbursts of anger when her boundaries are pushed. However, like a tiger, she displays a cold intelligence that understands that sacrifice must be made. Hero has trouble making emotional connections, though she is not entirely sociopathic, but rather sees emotions as a liability and burden than a redeeming nature. As such, she has no need for lightly treading and empathy – Hero is blunt and caustic, saying what is on her mind and how she feels without a care for who she hurts. Though she acts mainly on logic and reason, always calculating every step or move and how it will affect her surroundings, Hero is not unlikely to act impulsively if her ire is provoked. Therefore, her hot-headed nature is her weakness to enemies and a point to strike if they want her distracted. Despite all her misgivings, the worst of all her traits is her arrogance – though, sometimes, it is not wrongly placed. Hero does not believe she is the best, as she knows that is not true, but she will look down on her enemies and fellow classmates with a cynicism if she believes she is stronger than them. Furthermore, those that wrong her will never get a second chance in her life as Hero is unforgiving and ruthless once she turns her back on someone, rage and betrayal blinding her. But Hero is not without her good points, either. Hero is a studious young woman who dapples in survival knowledge and relies heavily on book learning to support her training. She is intelligent and realistic, able to calibrate her situation carefully and mostly accurately, unless she is distracted by anger. When Hero says she will do something, though, she will do it as there is more stubbornness in her than a herd of bulls. Hero hates the idea of losing, even if it means losing to her, or anyone else’s, expectations, and therefore is determined and stubborn to do her best in everything she does. Conversely to her character, Hero can be very childlike as well. She enjoys sweet things, like children, and has no self control when it comes to instant gratification – she would rather have something now than wait for it later. She often lashes out like a child, wanting to hurt those that hurt her. And, well, she can be rather innocent when it comes to relations and displays a naivety that many her age do not have. Likewise, she tends to answer all opposition with violence rather than diplomacy.
Biography:
Fear causes people to do strange things: Hero understood this at a young age.
Born to a blacksmith and a Protican, Hero was the third child to the young Katsaros couple. Well, if you could call the two before her children – rather, they never were able to experience childhood like Hero was able to. Hero’s mother, Edda Katsaros, was a skilled Protican with an unparalleled hatred for Angels. Edda was a woman much like Hero, a stubborn hot-head who threw everything she had when angered; however, she oft threw too much of what she did not have and it cost her fertility. After taking too many blows to the abdomen, her passion for fighting the angels made it hard for Edda to conceive: the first child, Grimhuld, was a miscarriage; the second child, Ander, was a stillborn. If she had been born in a different time, a different place, Hero might have been called a miracle.
Edda Katsaros had been scarred after losing her second child and a terror grew in her heart. Edda became paranoid and delirious, believing that everyone was an angel coming to take away her daughter. Eventually, Hero’s father couldn’t take it anymore and left his wife, hoping that living away from him would help her heal. However, he was unable to take Hero with him as Edda held onto her with an iron grip. Edda became even more convinced that angels were targeting her, even believing that her ex-husband was an angel himself. Afraid that harm would come to her baby, Edda trained Hero since she was five to fight, and would expose her daughter to horrid tales – some were made up and some were true – in order to instill a fear in her daughter. She hoped that this fear would keep Hero alive. It did the opposite; Hero would freeze up when fighting and so Edda tried a new plan, teaching Hero a mantra for whenever she got scared: “I'm not scared of lambs, only lions.” When Hero was afraid, Edda taught her to repeat it over and over again.
Growing up, because of her mother’s paranoia, Hero often never hung out with other people, but instead spent her time training. She never resented her mother for working her hard, but instead saw it as a welcome leisure and grew to love training and studying. However, being cooped up with limited social interaction stunted Hero’s communal growth and thus has a hard time coping with others, often reacting with violence as that was the only thing she really knew. Every now and then, Edda would allow Hero to see her father, but only under intense supervision, much to his frustration. Edda still saw him as an angel there to take away her baby. When the time came, Edda relished in sending Hero to Freymont Academy, believing that there she would be safe from angels.
Appearance: "Come and have a go, if you think you're hard enough." Likes: Reading, a good fight, listening to music, and intelligent company.
Dislikes: Stupid people, losing, lions.
Biggest Fear: As of today, it is lions.
Weapon: Galahad wields a bow that may also serve as two blades. The bow is made up of two pieces, which can be separated and used as swords, which Galahad may wield. Both the swords, as well as the tips of the arrows are coated in Auren, making them lethal to any angel with half a mind to go after the young Protican.
Initiation: Galahad was rather surprised to find himself face to face with a lion. In fact, he was so surprised that the lion had time to give him a decent swipe on the chest, before he got away. His biome was a flat, savanna like area with no cover. He knew that his only chance was to fight. And so he did. No one can say that Galahad Cross lacks self preservation. He rolled out of the pursuing lion's way, before grabbing a large rock. His breathing grew uneven, his shirt was soaked in blood, and for the first time in his life, Galahad was genuinely scared. He didn't much like the feeling. Galahad motioned for the lion to attack, knowing that his only ways out were death for the lion, or death for himself. The lion charged and leaped at the aspiring Protican and was greeted with a face full of rock. In fact, he became very well acquainted with that rock. It was the rock that killed him after all.
Skills: Galahad is extremely persuasive, and often uses his natural charisma to get what he wants. He's also a great shot, although he does still have much to learn. To go along with his archery skills, Galahad is also a decent swordsman, and could go head to head with many skilled opponents, though that isn't to say he's perfect. He has a tendency to fall for any feints thrown his way.
Personality: Galahad is cocky, sarcastic, and all around, a little bit of an asshole. He knows that he's smart and probably one of the more skilled first years, and he's not about to let you forget it. Despite this air of arrogance however, he's loyal, and a good friend to have by your side. In battle, he's extremely goal oriented, and willing to sacrifice anything to earn victory.
Biography: It's no coincidence that Galahad became a Protican. His mother was a Protican before him, and her father, and his father, and his mother before all of them. Galahad Cross comes from a long line of angel killers. And so, from the time he could walk, he could swing a sword. His mother had seen what the angels did, and she knew that they'd need all the help they could get if they wanted to defeat the winged hellions. His father disapproved of his mothers teachings, believing that it was too soon for him to be taught these things and he left both him and his mother when he was 12. Galahad refused to go with him, already having been taught too much by his mother to believe that running away was right. Galahad went on though. He had to, or else, his dad leaving would have been for nothing. And when he was 17 he went away to Freymont, determined to make his mother proud, and to prove his father wrong.
Likes: Music Playing Guitar Chocolate Warm Weather Cooking
Dislikes: Cleaning Homework School Allergies (He's allergic to mold)
Biggest Fear: Losing his sister
Weapon:
The entirety of Alex's weapon is made of Roalin. The crescent guards of the two swords detach to form a deer horn knife. Usually he throws this to his sister for her to use, however, he is (barely) capable of using the weapon. The crook in the sword can straighten out and turn into javelin.
Initiation: I came as a great surprise for Alex to be fighting an elephant. The animal took up most of the cage and was not very happy looking like the ones you see in photos. Alex knew elephants were pack animals and the fact that this one was alone made it easy to handle. He simply sat with the elephant and tried his best to keep it company while it was away from it's herd. Elephants were smart, and so it had quickly realized that it was in no danger when Alex didn't move. He stayed in the cage for 24 hours, simply lounging around with the elephant and trying to compose music in his head. It wasn't too bad.
Skills: Musician Alex can play piano, violin, saxophone, and many stringed instruments, but his main instrument is guitar. He spends some time composing music when he feels up to it.
Fighter Alex is more of a man of action. He is quick a quick thinker, and surprisingly agile and flexible for a male. He is very dexterous and works hard to make sure he builds up strength. He loves adding flourish to his attacks that not only make him look cooler, but make his attacks more effective. Since he was little, his parent's forced the twins into martial arts training for self protection. They are very skilled in the art.
Personality: Alex is laid back and easy going. He's more social than his sister, and loves teasing her. He tends to be very vocal about his opinions and gets along well with almost everyone he encounters. When it comes to more serious matters, Alex tends to stay quiet and let his sister handle the situation. However, when it comes to social situations, it's mostly Alex who leads his sister along in the endeavor. Alex has learned from a young age to act. Due to his parent's profession, he's in the public eye a lot which means he knows when to behave professionally. However, this has also made him very sneaky. He has leaned how to slip away from crowds and meetings and find a secluded place to hide and entertain himself.
Biography: The twins are seperated by 19 minutes, with Alex being the oldest. He loves pointing this out and teasing his sister about it. Alex's parents are both politicians. They are out in the public a lot and usually take the twins with them to appeal to a wider audience. During boring meetings and press conferences, Alex and Abby have made it a game to see who can slip out first and reach a rendezvous point. While their parents are uptight, and very formal, Alex tried his best to be looser and more upbeat to please his younger sister. In order to boost their popularity, Alex's parents sent the twins to Freymont academy.
Biggest Fear: Having her twin brother taken from her
Weapon:
+
Abby's weapon is the combination of double deer horn knives, made from the alloy Roalin, and a boomerang(ignore design on the picture). The spikes on the knives are able to clasp down to create two boomerangs. Since Roalin isn't pure Auren, Abby's weapons have to stay in contact with an Angel longer in order to kill it but a series of repeated slashes will do the same thing.
Initiation: Leave it to Abby to find the most atrocious and ugly creation in the entire arena. A silverback gorilla stood still, staring right into Abby’s eyes. Something about the gigantic ape made her feel uneasy. Of course that wouldn’t stop her from attacking. No, the only unlucky being in the arena was this silverback standing right before her for Abby never held back.Taking a deep breath, Abby’s gaze pierced into the gorilla’s. She bolted toward before it even had time to blink and jumped high into the air, flipping over to its backside. The moment her legs hit the ground, she was on it. A swift kick to the head followed up by powerful punches to his stomach pushed the brutal creature to the ground. Before it could even fight back, Abby finished the fight with a curb stomp, a cheap move it may be but the sooner the fight was over the better. She almost cringed when she heard the slight crack of bones. Almost.
Skills: Martial Arts: Abby’s parents wanted both Alex and her to be absolutely perfect in everything. They spent countless hours from when they were young training in martial arts, and because of this the two can wield their own body as a weapon of its own. It’s the only thing Abby’s glad her parents made her do.
Singing: While Alex plays guitar and several other musical instruments, Abby uses her voice as an instrument. She’ll often spend time singing with her brother whenever they have spare time. The only person who has heard her voice is Alex, and she’d prefer to keep it that way. She’ll deny any questions about music.
Herbs/Healing Expert: Instead of spending her time doing school work, Abby will research herbs and practice making tonics. Over the years, she’s come to be quite the healer and can make a cure for practically everything.
Abby is not the offspring you’d expect from two distinguished politicians. Rebellious and feisty, she’s not afraid to speak her mind. She avoids authority and rules at every chance she gets, often spending most of her time at school in the headmaster’s office. Even with her troubling record of detentions, Abby doesn’t care at all. School is pathetic and boring, full of wannabe hunters who will probably die the minute they step on the battlefield. The only reason she sticks around is because of her twin brother, who she cares for more than anyone.
Rather than being forced to sit in the prison cell people call class, Abby would rather spend time researching herbs and developing her skills as a healer. Strange as it is, she’s absolutely obsessed with the craft of healing. Making tonics and cures gives her a sense of peace she can’t find anywhere else. Someday in the future, Abby hopes to pursue it as a career, if she can ever get out of this academy.
Most people around the Academy find it hard to get along with Abby due to her cold honesty. People hate hearing the truth about themselves, something Abby’s come to learn but it still doesn’t stop her from blurting the first thing that comes to her mind. Whenever it comes to talking to people, Abby relies heavily on her brother. The way she sees it, if people can’t handle knowing the truth then they’re only living in a fantasy.
Abby is also full of adventure. If there’s some way to have fun, you’ll see Abby doing it. She doesn’t let a single moment go to waste, if she can help it that is. On top of her passion for herbs, Abby enjoys traveling around the world. She knows the life of a Protican isn’t for her, or for her brother for that matter. But with the strictness of their parents, who knows what their future had stored for them?
Biography:
Abigail and Alexander Clarke were born from two well-known politicians, their childhood full of rules and rich people. Their parents always tried to show off their wonderful children, and the two were forced to play the part of the ‘perfect’ twins. Of course they hated it, especially Abby, and their bond grew tighter as they had only each other to keep company.
Abby acted up at every chance she got, not even caring of the consequences. The special bond between parent and child was never established between Abby and her parents because of their strictness and expectations. Abby didn’t mind though, she only needed her brother. As long as Alex was around, Abby was fine. It wasn’t long before their parents sent the two of them to one of the best academies in Abadon, to not only learn some manners and sharpen up but to further their political campaign by making the twins appear as obedient and successful.

Personality: Cruel,Bitter,Judgemental,Cunning,
Where people go wrong with Vex is that they think he is shy or quiet or an introvert. Because he doesn't talk much to people, and when he does he often says it in a strange matter. Where in actual fact, Vex isn't shy. He has no problem talking to people. He just doesn't like you. In fact, one would go to say he really doesn't like you straight from the start.
