@Aisling "Yes, I did mourn for my wife. This was before I became a Buddhist," the father answered. "And there's only one desire I have... I want to end suffering, especially for my child. I don't care whether I'm appreciated. Yes, I do feel love, and yes, I do feel that wonderment... that I don't mourn doesn't mean that I don't have any emotions," the father said. "I just don't feel desire for anything other than what I've mentioned, and I feel almost no anger or hatred. When someone dies, most people think, 'I want him back.' That's why they suffer. Their desire to have that person back."
